I don't even understand how this is possible I am having a deck built and my mom is getting supplies from home depot and we have ordered stair railing twice now because it has gone to the wrong address and the third time we ordered something and it has gone to the wrong address then my mom is on the phone for an hour trying to get her order in again how do you guys mess up this much in a 2 month period or maybe carry it in the store you have everything else in stock but not what we ask for how is that possible and the same can be said about your soda selection I mean I have read the reviews about how you guys are thanking us for our feedback your like Barack Obama you talk about change but your not applying anything

Always nice and associates always very very helpful. Wish they had some more items like Menards but I realized they not same kind of store.,still great store

Order pickup is terrible here, they won’t even get the order in. It says 2 hours to get an order on home depots website

I talk to support over text message, support says they called the store, and that they are pulling it now. 1 hour later they still sent me no confirmation. This is now 3 hours after the order.

It’s pretty bad when Menards can do this crap in less than an hour most time then home depot, and I don’t have to spend an hour on chat support with menards either.

I do online order pickup because I am an hour from home depot, and friends or family that are in town can pick stuff up for me. Stop offering order pickup if you can’t even get it done

If I could give them Zero stars I would, the customer service is the worst ever, my wife wanted to purchase a granite countertop and the person in charge of this transaction was not in her desk, some one else told my wife that she was in her way, 45 minutes later and several other requests, my wife found out she was in customer service desk and had no intention to go back to her desk, when she was called by some one else, my wife overheard her saying tell that lady I am not in today. We are a small construction company and purchase a lot of things in the store but over the years customer service is going to zero, and store managers don't do anything.

Don't believe the credit work for percent off they said I would get 25 dollars off if I do apply for home Depot credit card I thought hell why not I got bad credit but they said I still had a chance and if not I'll get 25 dollar off then had to stand in line for 10 min while the lady went to call someone and said I was declined and don't even get the discount I'm very disappointed and then started asking if I was Planning on buying more stuff up to 1000 to get 100 off ya it was my to go store but I'll to Menards were they hold there promises

If I could give them 0 stars I would. We placed an order for pickup as we live over 3 hours away. Our order was canceled as they were marked as fraud for our bank. After we got that settled we put in the same order so we could pick it up the next week. Our bank was aware and they were told to charge the order that day so everything would go through. They charged our card 4 separate times draining our bank account into over draw. Our order now isn’t even going to arrive on time for pickup. I spoke to a manager and was told that there was nothing they could do to and I was to dispute the charges with my bank.

I will say, a woman called my husband when our first order was canceled to check on things and she deserves a raise. And probably to be put in charge because it’s obvious no one else can do anything right.

Hoy fui a comprar por qué están ofertas. Compré dos combos de herramientas . Por cada combo te dan otra herramienta gratis. Pues sucede que por error de ellos sin yo haber comprado ninguna escalera me la pusieron la muchacha al momento me envió a donde atienden el cliente allí me hisieron devolución sin yo pedirla sin yo saber q me habían puesto una escalera pues me tocó perder alrededor de 150 dollar . Llegó el supervisó un señor que solo hacía reírse de nosotros por no saber inglés y dijo que no se podía hacer nada y solo m le hivan a devorver el dinero de la escalera . Por qué las ofertas no se devuelven sin yo haber ni tan siguiera salido de la tienda . Me sentí indignada de no poder decirle lo que ese señor sin pelo se merecía . Cuidado que párese que ese fue un juego para poder sacarle más dinero a la gente. La muchacha me puso una escalera y después sin explicarme me envía a devolución ellos saben lo que estaban haciendo .que pena por que hace 10 años compro ahy y nunca había sentido tanta humillación . Me di cuenta cuando revisé mi cuenta de banco . Y ahy hise mi reclamo . Pues adiós Home Depot . Existen otras tiendas tú no eres el único .senti tanto racismo , por qué si yo compro con mi dinero que lo trabajo y pago mis taxes todos los años soy una más en este país no soy ni inferior ni superior .

MARIA in customer service was very unhelpful. Pushed us off onto a different associate and made us repeat the process twice. Then told us she couldn't help us because one of their card readers was not working. When there a several in the store. Do not see why this lady is put into a customer service position when she isn't wanting to help the customer or get someone to actually help them. Worst experience and she needs a different job.

I was at this store today getting some things for my house. I have spent over $1000 in here because some of the workers were very helpful. I made this store my go-to store. Well…today wasn’t pleasant at all…especially at checkout time. The girls in the back were very pleasant and helpful. Your CSRs in front….they need a little bit of help. The computer/register jammed up . The girl never apologized for the delay. My husband and I sat there for almost 20 minutes waiting for my change. The girl came back $12 short on my change. She didn’t apologize for short changing me. Because it was a lengthy period of time to look stupid and wait, I asked for my money back. My husband mentioned going to Menards. The girl snatched the dollar back and handed the money back that I gave her to my husband. My husband didn’t pay for the items…I did. I was not rude to the girl. She never apologized or said have a nice evening. I did in make a comment on how rude she was for not at least apologizing for the mishap. What topped it off, there was a manager sitting right there with no apologies either. I work in customer service. I have never treated any of the customers that pays my way like that regardless of the situation. I was in and out of Menards in 6 minutes. They treated us like valuable customers and they helped us get what we needed very professionally and promptly. Plus, I saved an extra $5. I am a secret shopper. I do post my recommendations on numerous places in the area. I would give this place 0 stars. But, the girls that were in the back were the only ones that kept my visit at 1 star. Rule of thumb, if you’re going to work with people, you need to least use the code word L.A.S.T. That means listen, apologize, suggest, and thank. That’s how you keep loyal customers coming back!!!

I have never been to a single Home Depot that didn't offer any kind of assistance with SOMETHING. Twice now when we got lumber, my husband, a disabled veteran, which was OBVIOUS, we were loading a hearty load of lumber by ourselves. There was a bystander that came and helped us the one time, the second it was my husband and I. When we bought a pretty large fire pit, nothing. Not one time in store has an associate even spoke to us to see if we needed any help or even the usual "are you finding everything okay?"
We are super thankful for the bystander that came and helped us load the large sheets of pressed particles board. Employees were right there and nothing. I've been to many Home Depots and this has never been the issue.

Trabajo haciendo delivery con aplicaciones, en este caso hice un Roadie en esta tienda de Home Depot Grand island NE y no supieron explicar nada , tenían un muchacho en donde se recogen los pedidos un incompetente sin conocimiento acerca del trabajo, su respuesta no fue acertada y tuve que perder tiempo y cancelar el pedido , porque no poner una persona en esta posición que sea amable, que hable español también para que ayude a la comunidad latina, una persona capaz de realizar y complacer al cliente y ante todo que no sea racista

I bought Purgo laminate flooring and had it installed. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the HD website. Their page says I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours after I paid. They do not tell you a third party will contact me to set up installation. I would have understood it might take longer had I known. Anyway every one at Home Depot was nice to work with, as well as the Crew to Home service schedulers and Jim who came and did my instalation. It 3 days and my floors look wonderful. 100% happy!!! If you choose to have them do the installation like I did just be aware it could be 3 to 5 weeks before they call to schedule. They are a busy crew but do wonderful work!

Extremely disappointed with Home Depot delivery system. Been late every single time and will not do anything about it. Will make you wait more than 7 days after delivery date. Will not notify you if there is something wrong with your order. All in all horrible customer service that will not do anything to help you.

Would give it 5. I bought a shark vacuum all was good till I went cut security tag. Employee did not disable the tag. What a racket. Until I took hammer to it.
Also if there going to sell any product. They should have the accessories an filters.on hand. Back in my day if I need a part could go to the store and get it without having to wait for it on line

Worst customer experience. Sold me the wrong battery to go with a tool. When I took it back same day they told me I had to go to this isle and wait for help to unlock the cage. Waited 15 mins ask three people for help and left without ever getting the cage unlocked!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. They delayed delivery by 2 days after we bought it then couldn't deliver the day they promised so we asked for a Saturday delivery next time we are up there. I told them I was going to cancel the order, and they were fine with it. He didn't care that they lost a $2000 sale.

Have bought several power tools here and we bought a new Ridgid drill that burnt up within a month and when we returned it they would not take care of it. It is a real hassle to get any warranty from home Depot and no local service center so we now use Menards brand. Brands we have purchased from home Depot in the past includes Ridgid, DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita now all replaced with Master force and no problems and if I do have one I know Menards will take care of me they are really good that was. Thanks Mark

Took 20 minutes for them to realize my order was 2 feet behind them. Then when I finally got it they said they would take it to the loading area.....after another 10 minutes I went back and drug it to the loading area where some guy helped me load it after others fled when I asked.

I am very disappointed in our service today. We were supposed to have our fridge delivered today. We were told we would have a 4 hour window for delivery. That never happened, we received a phone call saying they are 5 minutes out. We were not home at the moment and asked if they would be around the area for a little bit. He said I will call you back. After 15 minutes, I called to tell him I had my neighbor who could let him in. He said he called Home Depot and was told to move on. He told me not his problem anymore. I reached out to the appliance department and was told that they had waited at our house. Which is a lie because we have cameras and my neighbor was outside. Now I'm being told it will be another 12 days before it can be delivered. I find this absurd. We have 2 kids and a newborn. I've been living out of a cooler for 2 weeks now. No one is willing to help us get it faster. All we have been told is we will compensate you. I don't want money, just my fridge.

I would have given this store a five star because they had what I needed. But unfortunately like this store in many others you cannot get anybody to help you even though people are making more now than any other time in history they think they're owed that money you still have to earn that money that's what people don't understand.

Nice store but seems like I spend half my time trying to find someone if I need help like unlocking the tool cage it would be nice just to push a button to page.

At the Return desk, the woman clerk was rude, and wouldn't even try to help my Wife ! Finally a guy came over to help, and he was wonderful to work with ! He did his job, and more ! The woman needs customer service training for sure ! She made everything bad and complicated

Had previously given HD 5 stars but based on my experience with HD protection plan am changing to 1 star. Would give 0 if I could. Waiting 14+ months to get Maytag dryer fixed. Will not purchase anything from HD if i want a protection plan. Would probably not purchase a Maytag again either. Only lasting 2 years before needing a major repair? Bring production back to Iowa. Have spent hours with the center in the Phillipines trying to resolve the problem, i get disconnected. I get someone different every time on the phone and theydon't understand the problem.
Update: 6/2025. I find it very interesting & disappointing that No One has contacted me regarding this scathing review. BTW maytag washer and dryer trashed after 5 years and $1000. No more HD for appliances. And no more maytag for anything!
