Premier Roofing Company - Johnston, IA

So glad for the new management! My roof was replaced after a big hailstorm, and that went well. Any small issues were quickly taken care of. However, they had to use a different gutter provider as they were overwhelmed with work. The gutters had to be replaced. A few of the seams leaked in the new gutters and were relatively quickly sealed. After a big rain, 4 more seams leaked. I tried from October 2024 until April 2025 to get them to come out. No luck. However, now Premier has new management and I can't say enough good things about them. Patrick called me right back and Steve was there in a day or 2 to seal the seams. Both were very nice and Steve even brought me a pot of beautiful flowers as a way of apology for my aggravation. I highly recommend Premier Roofing, now that management has changed. They do great work!

They are the most unprofessional company I’ve ever worked with no estimate with ever given no money was ever given and they did the work then decided what they wanted paid they blocked Allways for three days without any consideration for the other people who live in this area that use that alley clean up wasn’t very good, and in my opinion, taking advantage of the elderly and seniors was disgusting

They did great work and my roof looks great!!. Salesman John did a great job for me also. Would highly recommend them!!

This company doesn't respect their potential customers. No Soliciting sign meant nothing to the lady who knocked anyway, thus breaking the law and was trespassing. Then proceeded to try and argue with me about not selling me anything. No, stop the bull and leave people alone who don't want solicitors. You will never get my business and have been added to the list of problem businesses our city is accumulating.

Amazing job by Premier Roofing Company to the top with their branch sales manager Dustin Bachman down to their roofing crew the day of our build. Hardest workers I’ve ever came across and our rep and supervisors were so easy to work with and we didn’t have to do anything other than enjoy our new roof after the storm. If you need your roof done I highly recommend this company as I have to my friends and family

Had roof done in July, now November trying to get a final bill after have a salesman ruin shingles because he tried to climb my extremely steep roof in August, got that fixed but the the tech that replaced the damaged shingles fell off the roof and tore up the gutter. Finally get a bill in November threatening a mechanics lien.
Not sure of the motive but sure seems like storm hoppers

One word to say about my experience with Premier Roofing was exceptionally great! My first contact with Sabahudin Sabic all the way through the project and his crew, Premier Roofing was impressive and great to work with.

All expectations were explained in detail prior to commitment. As promised everything happened exactly. Once the roof status was assessed the actual roof replacement process was finished sooner than expected but in an exceedingly professional manner.

Sabahudin Sabic was such an amazing persistent hard working individual! He stayed on top with the project all the way through and worked very hard with our insurance provider to get us a complete and beautiful new roof! as promised.

I can't stop myself to praise enough on the roofing crew and Sabahudin Sabic for working so hard for the entire duration with atmost professionalism!

They will text your personal number at 9pm for business items that should be a phone call or letter. They held my initial insurance check for so long I wasn’t able to use my solar for weeks, resulting in a higher electric bill. Have no problem with the workmanship, just the process and people.

I can’t say enough about my experience with this company. They really hit the ground running all the way from the BSM Dustin Bachman, Field supervisor Jack Payette, along with the Deluxe installation crew! I was so impressed with the level of professionalism, efficiency, and overall work ethic. This company does not mess around. If they say they are going to do something, they do it and they don’t stop until the customer is satisfied. This was the easiest process I have ever been through as a homeowner. The only work my wife and I had to do was choose the colors of the material!

We all know how difficult it can be having to file claims and dealing with insurance adjusters but Premier handled it all! Premier took the reins from the start and lead us straight to the finish line.

The tear-down and installation crew are 2nd to none. Some of the hardest working men/women you will ever come across. I was blown away with how fast the old roof came down and how quickly the new one went up. The job was done in less than a day and it was NO small task as you can see from the photos. We got our roof done in one day they are really fast,friendly and understanding on what I wanted. The whole team was amazing!! I really love the color and how they matched the chimney color with the roof color. If anyone needs a roof done Derek Garrett from premier roofing and his team are the best!! The office people are really great as well. Premier Roofing is the best roofing company!! You will love the company and their crew!! If not then they will make it right with you!! My experience was AMAZING very happy!!

They did all the work with the insurance company and followed thru after the job to make sure everything was alright.

They did the bare minimum on my roof, they didn't take down the gutter guards like I asked them to, and they damaged my roses when they threw the roofing tiles down after I had specifically notified them not to. Very unresponsive to my calls and emails, i had to track them down to get a final bill and then they tried to stick me with a 'past due fee'. Would not recommend to anyone

The whole team from Sales (Kaydin) to actual installation (great cleanup, very little debris & nails) to overall management of interaction with our insurance (Dominick) was great. The day after hail demolished our roof I called Kaydin and he immediately came over and covered up the holes until work could be scheduled. I’ve told anyone who’s asked (and some who haven’t) about the great experience. Thanks to Premier for the wonderful service.

Great work! The company does a great job communicating via email where we're at in the process. Crew was respectful and did a great job cleaning up for the most part, however we were told upon selecting the shingles we wanted, that once the crew were done installing the new roof, that they would be out the next business day to check the yard for more nails/screws/staples with their magnet. Unfortunately they never did... so we ended up buying ourselves a yard magnet and are still getting a lot of metals picked up almost 2 weeks later. Still not comfortable using our riding lawn mower near the house yet (don't want to puncture tires) but the roof looks amazing. Overall I would recommend them again!

They did a fantastic job replacing from damage from a few different storms. I went up there that night to realign my dish but noticed that everything looks perfect not one thing is out of place. I’ll have to go back up and take pictures to include but they did a phenomenal job and did it all in one day.
I’m it was done in the fall instead of a couple months ago when it was 100°, I would’ve felt horrible for the crew.

Following a big hail storm in August, Premier Roofing (Dominick Jimenez - field rep) was great to work with. They connected directly with our insurance company to ensure everything that was needed, was covered. Premier is not a gutter installation company, but they made sure that was all included with insurance and even helped find a separate contractor that I could trust to do that part. There were a number of twists in dealing with the roof, and they were willing to talk things out with me to make sure it all worked out to my satisfaction and with no additional charge to me. It was a great experience that I hope to never have to go through again. But if I do, it will be with Premier. (Job # 2264443)

So I used this company because I know someone who works here, I was assured multiple times that it would be ok, it would be under budget, and that it would all be fine. Fast forward to the day it was supposed to happen, it didn’t and nobody contacted me until I reached out. They rescheduled a few times and I had to contact them to find out each time. Now they’re finally there and I made sure to mention I have dogs I have to let out, they blocked me in both doors and nobody talked to me beforehand or anything. This took them one day, I don’t think it’s quality service as I had to have them come back and fix something after the fact. They didn’t do everything that we are being charged for and the way I am spoken to and treated is beyond disrespectful.

Austin kept us informed every step of the way. He worked tirelessly with our insurance company! He kept us informed during the entire process and followed up with us after roof replacement to make sure we were satisfied! The crew was great and cleaned up so well afterwards! Would highly recommend!

Excellent, quick and efficient installation of my roof job 2261064. The representative, who is also a neighbor, was very professional and helpful getting my yard ready. The company does a great job giving the customer all the information needed to get through the entire process. The crew was friendly and respectful. I found a few nails after the job and Larcen, my rep, personally came over and checked the yard for nails again.

They are very unprofessional they ignored my no soliciting sign and tried to solicit my home today. They need to be aware if they continue to ignore these signs that it is trespassing and I can and will contact the police and file a complaint if they continue to do this at my home and in my neighborhood. If you can’t follow simple instructions that are spelled out for you then there is no way that I would ever do business with you and will suggest others to steer clear!

Premier Roofing did an amazing job of replacing my hail-damaged roof! Not only that, but, beforehand, they worked effectively with my insurance carrier to make sure that everything was properly covered. Special shout-out to Hamish and AshLynn for amazing customer service! Hamish, in particular, did outstanding work with both the carrier and the gutter contractor, the latter which occurred months after Hamish had moved out of state for Premier - for continuity sake, true professionalism from a true professional (plus, he was great to work with)! Austin and Caleb were Game Day warriors who worked well with the roofing crew to make sure that everything came together as expected. Much appreciation to Caleb for sourcing, with a few hours notice, a couple of items that were almost impossible to source locally - clearly, it’s good to have connections!

As a CPA, organization, integrity, and follow-through are important to me. Not only is Premier Roofing as professional a group as I’ve dealt with, but, maybe more importantly, their efficiency and effectiveness - especially their attention to detail - went ABOVE and BEYOND expectations! Had hail damage on an already fairly old roof, was recommended these guys personally. Didn’t disappoint! First roof work I’ve ever had done, and they were quick, consistent, well informed, and informative. Wasn’t a question I had that they didn’t immediately have an answer to, workers were quick and cleaned up fast. Up front about the cost from start to finish.

Usually I’m not one to post testimonials up, but I just had to talk about my experience with Premier Roofing.

I’ve been working with Justin Harris to repair our roof due to hail damage. He has a keen eye for catching all of the damages on our roof and works really fast. After meeting with him, he got to know us and knew my wife was about ready to have our child. When he learned that detail, he did what he could to get the build date pushed up so there wasn’t pounding by the time we got home.

Long story short — this week my wife went into labor, we’re at the hospital for another day or two, and they are at our home working on our roof as we speak. Justin has been great with communicating with us throughout the whole process and he has been very awesome to work with. Thank you so much, Justin for your commitment to customer service excellence. I will be going to premier roofing for all of my roofing needs after this amazing and caring experience.

Finally! I would LOVE to shake the hand of the owner who is building such a reputable business! I can't say enough good things about the companies organized (to the T) process! Dominic just took all of the chores of dealing with insurance, figuring out what needed done, etc. out of our hands! No fly by night company here! He did what he said he would do and because of him we had an excellent experience getting this daunting chore done. The superior communication from everyone involved was impeccable! I spoke to office employees (sorry...I don't recall their names) but they were super friendly and accommodating. I never felt hurried to ask my questions and again, they did what they said they would, and the follow-up was timely. I was so impressed with John, the project manager! He was friendly, addressed my questions, lead an organized (and hardworking) crew! Very professional and friendly young man. The cleanup was amazing. It appeared to look as if no one had been there but we had an amazing new roof at the end of the day!

I'd had a lot of guys up on the roof looking at damage and telling me I needed a new roof. My insurance company declined the original claim. Then, I reached out to a neighbor who had had Premier work for them. I was mostly looking for a local company that would give me an estimate on a new roof. Not really looking to file a claim. She gave me the phone number for Ashlyn. She showed up the next day and said there was enough damage to make a claim. She was very professional and handled talking to the insurance company. We met with Hamesh and our Insurance Adjuster and they determined it would be covered. From then on there was great communication, from where they were in the ordering, delivering and building process. The project got completed in one day. They cleaned up very well. I initially met with Hamesh (Field Supervisor) and Ashlynn (Field Rep). They were professional and handled all aspects of the insurance claim/ correspondence. Ashlynn took over and was extremely helpful throughout the process, and even climbed up on my roof to do a temporary seal to stop additional nside damage until the new roof was installed. After the roof was done, they even hooked me up with someone to fix the ceiling inside where water damage had leaked through, and those guys worked out great too. All in all, a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend them.

The only reason I didn't mark "good value" is because all I paid was the deductible, so I didn't compare prices and really can't honestly comment on the value. That being said, I had no issues and didn't pay anything beyond my deductible, so they were a good value to me!

Everything was explained in detail and all my questions were answered. All calls and texts were answered very quickly. Ryan was excellent and made the process run smoothly. The crew arrived on time and started around 7 am and were done by around 1 pm. They are ninjas... They cleaned up very well and protected my property with tarps and left leaving everything looking as it was before they were there (maybe even better). I've had bad experiences in the past with other companies/contractors but I was impressed with Premier Roofing. I recommend them for your roofing job.

Dominic and his crew replaced the roof and siding on my garage due to storm damage. They were very professional and quickly did the repairs. Was very satisfied with the job they did. They cleaned everything up and you could hardly tell anyone was there. Just found a few nails. Great job guys.
