Clayton Hood did an “Outstanding” job helping us through the whole process of getting all the damages from a hail storm covered through our insurance. He made sure our new roof went on smoothly to our house. He made sure damages to siding and deck damages got covered as well.

Clayton went above and beyond throughout the process from the beginning to the end; always making sure we were pleased with the work Premier Roofing Co. did. Clayton was phenomenal, he gave us an honest assessment last year that our roof wasn't in need of repair; this year after we got hailed out he was prompt, professional, and walked us through the whole process. Our roof was replaced before our neighbors even had adjustments completed. He was present for the adjustor and was super communicative throughout the whole process. My roofing project included removing the old roof installing new sheeting a new skylight and new asphalt shingles. Alan, Cooper, and Audrey were more than helpful and the contract and insurance paperwork was handled very efficiently and professionally, I give them 5 stars.

We’ve all had those unexpected knocks on the door from roofing companies after a hailstorm rolls through. This spring was no different—except this time, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Standing at my door was Cooper Allan from Premier Roofing.

I’ll admit, I was ready to give him the usual brush-off. But there was something about Cooper’s calm, professional approach that made me pause. He gave a quick, clear explanation of the process and put me at ease. I decided to give him and Premier Roofing a chance—and I’m glad I did.

From that first conversation through the final clean-up, I knew I had made the right decision. Cooper kept me informed every step of the way and answered every question with clarity and patience. His confidence in the process gave me confidence in the company.

The project unfolded exactly as promised. The crew was efficient, courteous, and left the site spotless. They even removed an old skylight, replaced the flashing, and—going above and beyond—added a small gable behind my chimney to improve water drainage.

Shortly after, we had one of those flash flood-style rains—and not a single leak. The water flowed exactly as it should.

I am not a customer, but a solicitation that the employee knocked on my door while we were out back having dinner. He proceeded around the side street and saw me on the back deck. The employee proceeded to stop, exit his car, come up in my yard to my deck stating that I didn't answer my door. Then proceeded to try and make a sales pitch even after I told him I already have another contractor taking care of my roof claim. Then wasted more of my time asking questions about that company in front of my wife and children. Then, proceeded to say he hoped we weren't having dinner. I reassured him he was interrupting. I get it's a tough market for sales, but this was rude, inconsiderate, and over boundaries.

We used Premier Roofing to repair our roof after a recent hail storm. The process was very straightforward, and we are very pleased with the work. The Premier rep, Kelly, helped us file an insurance claim, and she made sure the entire project was handled properly.

From the first inspection prior to work being done, to the final inspection after the job was complete, Premier Roofing did good work all around. I’d definitely use them again.

They damaged our gutters in the process of doing our roof and now we have to have the gutters repaired. They also made multiple mistakes with the roof that have to be redone. To top if all off, getting Premier to fix the roof mistakes they made and to repair the gutters they damaged has been awful. It has been months of us calling to have them fix their mistakes and they still haven't fixed this or given us a date of when they will fix it.

Did a fantastic job on my roof. Several different guys doing different things. Did a great job on the skylights also. There is a rotten piece of trim up there I wish they would've replaced while they were here. I would've gladly paid to have it replaced.

Premier was excellent with communication through the entire process. Always on time and was thorough with cleanup. I would use them again.

We recently had our roof repaired by Premier Roofing. Our insurance recommended them so they are who we chose. Cooper Allen was our field agent and the communication was very poor. It took almost a month before we were even scheduled for a repair. During that time we had a leaky hole in our roof that we tried to patch ourselves. The crew came out and did an amazing job on the roof. They cleaned up everything nicely. However the crew left several boxes of shingles on top of our roof and a pile of new materials in our driveway. It has been almost a week and still no one will come and remove the stuff that was left. Cooper replies in a timely manner but nothing really ever seems to get done. I just hear that they are busy. It has been quite frustrating working with this company.

We reached out to Premier Roofing after a hail storm in our area. I was presently surprised when Cooper returned my phone call to set-up an appointment and I remember him saying nothing to worry about and they will take care of everything. During the appointment Cooper answered all my questions and again put me at ease about the process. We started the claim that night and soon after had a Beautiful new roof installed. Happy with the service. They put on my roof back in 2016 and I had them replace my roof after the hail storm in Shawnee this time. Cooper Allen was very polite, professional and quick to accommodate our needs. I would recommend this company anytime.

Happy to say that I had an excellent experience with Premier Roofing Company of Kansas City March 2024. Joint inspection between Premier and my insurance provider indicated the need to replace my eleven year old roof due to storm damage from 2023. Excessive grit missing from original shingles and tar base showing through in places. From the time of inspection through completion, Field Supervisor Cooper Allan and crew were on top of the project and Premier was expedient in delivering roofing materials and completing necessary work. Roof was inspected March 13and materials were delivered March 27. Roofing crew arrived early March 28 and the job was wrapped up and completed by 2:00 pm. The crew was very conscientious and neat. I think in total, I found maybe 6 roofing nails and a very few small shingle pieces. Extremely neat overall in comparison to other roofing companies I’ve used in the past. Premier kept me well informed throughout the entire process and I was never left in the dark wondering about anything. Kudos to Cooper, the crew he used on my project and Premier for great work! Keeping their information as I would most definitely consider using them again in the future should their services be required. Thanks for a job well done!,

Excellent service, quality work for the price and the job came in on time. Followed up with a warranty. We interviewed several roofing companies and no one could compete with Premier. Our sales rep made sure that we were satisfied by following the job to completion. Highly recommend! A+

Premier did our roof in 2022. Later, we discovered that they did not reconnect our sun tunnels, and in fact, parts of the sun tunnels had been broken. I called four times over the course of two months to get them to fix this. Kelly took the messages and said someone would call us back--no one ever called back. Very frustrating. Do not use these people if you have sky lights or sun tunnels. We now have to hire some one else to fix this problem at added expense.

Telling people to call the local branch for help is not an answer when no one from the local office returns calls or texts. This is an unprofessional company that does subpar work and then won't even return a call or text. They took my gutter guards and threw them away, they were 6 months old. I have trash in my attic from when you used flashing to cover holes left by removed vents that I never approved to be removed. Ventilation was changed without talking to me or my husband, then initially want even changed properly. Came back to fix that and replaced decking, and now I have felt or weatherproofing wrap hanging into the attic between the pieces of decking. Shingles nailed on, but not into a stud. Crooked ridge caps, even after they were out a third time to fix. Still waiting for my flue to be replaced as was bid and paid for, but not replaced. Smashed my gutters in 2 places. Left exposed nails in shingles on the roof. Don't get me started about the trash and nails in the yard. It you me 3 hours to clean them up with a rolling magnet.
This job started 10/31 the last contact from the company was 11/7. My husband and myself have both reached out numerous times.
I feel like my house was purposely messed up and I've been stolen from by this company.

I've lived in the same house for 25 years and have had three roofs put on thru the years. Premier roofing is by far the worst company I've ever had to deal with. They've been out to my house three times and the roof still isn't right. Their crews are very unprofessional, they didn't lay down tarps during the tear out process like I was informed they would do so I've spent hours picking up nails and broken shingle pieces in my yard and driveway, they've damaged my gutters, left roofing trash in my attic, left exposed nails on the roof, removed gutter guards that they were supposed to reinstall but instead threw them away so now I have no gutter guards, charged my insurance company for a new furnace flue and didn't install it as well as deleting turtle vents and still charging my insurance company for them. The list goes on and I am not happy.

These guys did our roof 2 years ago. We have leaks in the ceiling of two rooms. We have left 2 messages with no return call. The job was guaranteed! Is this who you want to do your roof? They called to schedule a day and time to repair the roof. They did not show up or call. We called and it has been rescheduled. i'll keep you posted.

Update: I had to request an estimate on a different address to get anyone to call me. There is no phone number on the website.
The guy that came out agreed that the shingles were improperly nailed, but only replaced a few shingles and sealed s few spots.
I have other rentals and will not use premier on them due to the poor installation and lack of response to my failing roof.
We had premier put a roof on our duplex approximately 3 years ago. We have had shingles fall off every time it gets hot out. This last time I have left 5 messages and can't get anyone to return my calls.

Nathan and Jared were amazing to do business with. They were very thorough from beginning to end. They work directly with your insurance so you don’t have the hassle! Would recommend Premier to anyone who needs a new roof!!!

Had them replace my roof and was nothing but satisfied. Spoke to multiple people in the company in person and over the phone, everyone was helpful and considerate. First time I have had to have something like this done and I am glad I chose premier.

I cannot get Devon or his supervisor to respond to texts, phone calls, or emails. They have been hard to work with and I have been dealing with them since August. Of course they had NO issues putting a sign in my yard advertising their business but cannot bother to help current clients. If you want your roof inspected and a report sent to your insurance company in a timely manner, I recommend anyone but Premier. They are very unprofessional.

First I want to say this whole process took 7 months. That is ridiculous. After the roof inspection we were told we didn’t need our gutters replaced but our insurance did pay for them. We were also told nothing out of pocket. After our roof was replaced our gutters were destroyed. It looked like someone jumped on them. Premier sent someone to fix them. They partially fixed but it didn’t match what we had. They did finally fix our gutters to about 90% satisfaction. When I got the final bill we had $367 out of pocket. When I questioned this I was told getting a new roof for that price was a good deal especially since I was one of the only ones my insurance approved. First that was unprofessional and I was their customer. I didn’t have to use them. Also I never complained about how long it took. I just questioned the out of pocket. I was offered a gift card which I declined. That wasn’t the point. The point is I was lied to and told I should be happy about it. They also left 2 marks on my garage and smashed a hydrangea bush. That was never fixed. I documented all of this when I sent the check but I never heard anything back but they had no problem cashing my check. I never write reviews but I felt this was warranted. I would never use or recommend this company again.

No accountability, took months to invoice and never addressed issues. No transparency or communication. Turns out we had a sales person who was not even employed with the company, not sure how that even works. Thanks Bobby and Ryan! I’ll send you my collection of rusty nails, hoping my dogs don’t step on one.

The adage that if it sounds too good to be true applies to my dealings with Premier Roofing. I was approached by a salesman on 6/4/22. The insurance claim was started and the salesman met with the adjuster on 6/10. Premier had a written and approved estimate in hand that day.

Things went downhill from there. I planned to use another vendor to replace the gutters. That was going to require modest coordination of work and also some things that Premier would normally cover in their scope of service would be done by someone else. We were haggling over that up until the day the installation started on 7/12.

The roof installation was average. Things on the exterior of the house that were supposed to be covered were not and one tree was nearly destroyed. The roof leaked the first time it rained.

I could live with that. What I cannot live with is the sloppy business practices. The contract that is signed before work starts clearly states “first (ACV) payment plus copay or deductible is to be made upon commencement of work. Final payment is to be made upon substantial completion of work.” I NEVER received an invoice or anything else that would allow me to make the first payment AND we are 7+ weeks out and I still have not received any accounting/bill from Premier. My insurance company has made their final payment to me. I am concerned because I have zero confidence that Premier will net out the work done by the other vendor. To compound things, I am days away from being unavailable for over 2 weeks. I fully anticipate getting a bill at the 11th hour and they’re being the expectation that payment will happen immediately.

Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy. Roofing is a commodity product. There are many vendors to choose from and I deeply regret my choice!

I couldn't be happier. The entire experience was excellent from beginning to end. Things were clearly explained. Everything went as scheduled. The materials were delivered one day, the crew came the next and finished the entire roof in one day. They did a great clean-up job. It was a great pleasure to work with such a professional, dependable company.

They did a terrific job! Our roof was damaged heavily by a recent storm and they not only fixed our roof but everyone else’s very well! Highly recommend them! They only got our roof done in less than 3 days!

If Alan Murphy hadn't been in the neighborhood doing free, FREE Inspections I would have not gotten a new roof. My husband and I talked about getting a estimate, but had not done it. However we got supper lucky. Triple A and Alan, gave us an amazing roof. Look mom, no leaks.

Alan Murphy was my Field Representative he gave me all the facts about the project. What needs to be done , the roofer did a great job and cleaned the area all in the same day . I’m happy with the work .

Premier Roofing replaced our roof in 200. Recently, we discovered a leak around a skylight in the sunroom after a strong rain storm. After calling them, they sent out an inspector immediately who identified the issue and corrected it. I was so extremely impressed with their customer service. Lacy in the Office and Jim the repair technician went above and beyond. I HIGHLY recommend this company and their crew. So hard to find companies that deliver great customer service. Thank you! - Premier made good on fixing the damage their crew did to our gutter leaf guards as well as some of our landscaping at no add'l expense to me

- Our project seemed to take longer than necessary, on the second day only two crew members were there until I inquired about it
- They don't accept any online payment, venmo, ACH or anything. Have to mail them a check, which seems odd this day in age.

The company knocked on our door soon after a recent hail storm. They said that they were doing free inspections of our area as we have neighbors that have secured their services.

The gentleman got on our roof and returned to inform us that we did have roof and gutter damages, showing us pictures. He then had us contact our insurance company and file a claim.

Today, 3 days later, our insurance company sent out a contractor to look at the roof. He did an inspection and found minimal hail damages and said our roof looked great.
Just before he left another gentleman with Premier came and said that we were going to be denied the insurance claim because we didn’t have enough in damages. He looked at the roof and came back with an entirely different report than the first guy with his company. He said the roof was in great shape and that we didn’t have any significant damage.

It’s amazing how we go from it’s in rough shape and needs replacement and by Thursday it’s in great shape with minimal dings from hail.
Seemed like a complete waste of time for so many people to come out and look at a roof in good shape that was said to look terrible. We even filed a claim with our insurance and now we’re having to hopefully cancel before it’s denied as we don’t want a claim to impact our future needs for our home.

Very misleading information, very disappointing for a company to report damages to the point of roof replacement and that not be the case.

The work done, job # 2141941, was excellent, as was the clean up. I’ve never had my property look better after the work was done than it did before the job. My experience with the field rep, Penny, was exceptional. She is knowledgeable, personable, responsive and patient in walking the customer through the process. Very happy with the whole experience.

This was very easy, they even worked with the insurance company, it took a little longer than expected, but our roof was not leaking so were not in a hurry.

Random knock on the door, a Premier roofing rep wants to do a free roof inspection. Sounds great! He tells me I have hail damage on my roof and gutters, enough to file an insurance claim, but didn’t take any pics to show me. I called a roofer I know, Adam with Triad, and he takes pics says my roof is in good shape, gutters are normal wear no hail damage. Thank goodness I got a second opinion and don’t have a claim on my insurance. Nice try though!

Premier Roofing Company were friendly, responsive, organized and professional from start to finish of our project. The project timeline was followed and I was kept in the loop each step of the way. My project representative was easy to get ahold of and answered my questions within minutes of receiving my text or email. I will be using them again if/when I have any roof issues in the future and will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

The project manager started off evaluating our roof and looking for storm damage and then came out to meet with our insurance adjuster to make sure we were all on the same page with storm damage and what is covered. They will submit any paperwork needed with the insurance company to get any further adjustments for us.

Overall, very satisfied with entire process. Field Representative was very accomodating and explained process well. Worked with us to get job done while we were on vacation. Also stopped by afterwards to check if there were any issues.

Understanding the quotes, insurance payout, payments, etc. can be confusing. Ask lots of questions!

My rep has been great and has worked in tandem with my home insurance to get my roof taken care of after hail storm damage. The crew was great and worked together to get all the necessary work done even slightly after dark on the first day. They were back the next morning to finish up. Mostly a good job cleaning up, although there were about 8-9 nails/tacks that had fallen into the open slits between deck boards. I found none on the driveway or in the grass though. Overall it was an excellent job.
