When our roof was severely damaged by hail we chose Xtreme to replace it. When our insurance company proved less than co-operative, our sales person at Xtreme spoke with them on two or three occasions and it really did help. By the time the project was finished, we felt really lucky we'd chosen Xtreme. We were very happy with the outcome.

I would like to share a great experience that I had with Xtreme Roofing and Siding and in particular with Ben Shannon. We live in Waukee and Xtreme was recommended to me by a friend who had utilized their services a few months ago. I can only say that this company and Ben were extremely easy to work with and their workmanship was second to none. The estimate to repair our roof and shingles was very reasonable and they came and removed the old shingles and replaced with the new shingles in a little over a day. Great work, great cleanup of the work area and hard workers. We also had an issue with some fascia that had blown off and one call to Ben and I was on their schedule and the fascia replaced and it blended in perfectly with the existing fascia.
I was very pleased and would highly recommend this company for any roofing or siding issues you may have. Great people to work with!

Last spring Xtreme Roofing & Siding helped me with a leaking roof on my commercial building in Redfield, Iowa. I was concerned the whole roof needed replacing due to multiple leaks causing ceiling stains and during heavy rains major issues. A full tear off would have cost a lot more than I was prepared for and probably would not have got done for a few weeks. Thankfully Xtreme was able to restore my existing rubber EPDM roof with a liquid rubber spray coating. No tear-off, no- delays, no massive bill. The process was amazing! In two days without any major disruptions, Xtreme cleaned the roof, prepped it for spraying by coating the vulnerable spots and applied two coats of commercial grade liquid rubber that was water tight the same day it was installed. I'm posting today...sorry it's a little late to say thanks. I just took the finished photo today of the roof as I wanted to see what it looked like after 1 year. Happy to report no leaks or issues since the job was complete. Highly recommend anyone with metal roofs flat commercial roofs reach out to Xtreme Roofing to learn about this process. I'm glad I did!

I had an extremely great experience with this company as Darrin and his wife were very helpful and communicative about the unique situation I was trying to resolve with my new house. I talked to both of them multiple times to figure things out and without their help, I truly would've been lost in this process. When it finally came time to do the work on my house, his sons stopped by and were great to work with and were able to complete the job quickly and with high quality. This is a really great family owned business that I would highly recommend and would definitely work with again in the future.

Their team did a great job! They even had to move a couple things we hadn’t planned on. They adjusted on the fly with some of the problems that they ran into. They still completed their job quickly and efficiently. Their cleanup was spotless.

These guys are awesome and they do fantastic work! Jake is very easy to communicate with, especially with texting and sending photos. We had them work on a remote property and they made the project very painless without us needing to be there. Would highly recommend! Plus, their prices are right!

We had some roof loss with the tornado that blew though Des Moines a few months back and our experience was fantastic with Xtreme Roofing and Siding LLC with Jake at the helm, always being available to answer questions and help us through all the ins/outs from beginning to end, along with such hard working and conscientious crews made this big job of replacing the roof, gutters and downspouts easy and they look fantastic. Each evening upon completion of the work, the crew worked hard to get any/all stray pieces of things out of the driveway and out of the yard, which was super appreciated since we have dogs and car tires that don't fair well with that type of debris!! The work was completed timely and we couldn't be more pleased!

EXCEPTIONAL company to work with.
We experienced tornado damage this spring. When we called them, they promptly came to give us an estimate on our damage. They replaced our windows, siding, roof, fascia, and soffit. They gave us a computerized mapping of our home with the different options I was considering, which made it so much easier to decide exactly what I wanted to go with. They communicated great with our adjuster. They put us at ease with all our concerns and promptly answered all our questions. Their workmanship made my home BEAUTIFUL! I can not praise Jake, Brad, and Darrin enough!

The BEST! After the Greenfield tornado, we hired Extreme Roofing to repair/replace roof, siding, garage door, windows and more. All done seamless while coordinating with the insurance. I really appreciated providing samples of siding and shingles. After considering several color options Jake took measurements and photos, then sent computerized pictures of how the house would look. Everyone agreed on the right combination. The house now looks great! We received many compliments!

This is a fantastic company with a fantastic family behind it. Once I made a decision on the color, their crew came into. My surprise were extremely efficient. They left my house and the surrounding areas very clean. I have small children that run in my yard, so I was concerned about nails, but they took their time and clean everything up.

Pricing was more than fair and now my house is energy efficient. The venting system they did looks nice and works so well to keep my house warmer in the winter and cooler in the heat. I’m even saving a ton of money on my electric bill.

I had extreme do my roof, gutters and some trim replacement. The work was done on time with good communication, and no surprises.

We had hail damage. Had to get siding, gutters, and the roof replaced. Xtreme was awesome to work with. They worked with our insurance company, which is what our insurance wanted. They were always on time for multiple appointments. The work done was top notch and timely. They left the jobsite(our home) in the same shape they started. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a professional roofing and siding company.

We were referred to Extreme by very good friends and were not disappointed Brad Nauman came to our home and gave us an estimate for hail damage and then returned to work with our insurers adjuster and made sure everyone was on the "same page". Although very busy with hail damage to homes in our area, we got on the schedule for a Friday. That Friday, it rained all day, BUT the materials were all delivered and the crew worked on a weekend to finish our job and keep on schedule. The crew was polite, professional and their clean-up was outstanding. We thank Xtreme and especially Brad for their cooperation and assistance. We would highly recommend Xtreme!!

Jake and his team sided my 86-year-old mother's house. It was a beautiful transformation. The crews arrived early each day and completed the job within a few days. Communication was outstanding. They went above and beyond by assisting with removing an old satellite dish from her roof, adding a grab bar by the front step, etc. I highly recommend XTREME!

Jake Nauman, who was very knowledgeable and professional, came to inspect my roof and siding, showed me some of the problem areas he identified. Additionally, he went into great detail with explaining the process with dealing with our insurance. I can’t say enough great things.

The guy they sent out was nice, but they need to work on communication, waited a week called and they hadn't even run any numbers, was promised they would the next day. I called two days later and they say they are not interested. Being straight forward is better in my book. Guess someone else can take my money.

I am beyond delighted with this company. I had my roof inspected as a result of the August 2022 hail storm, along with my siding. Brad inspected my roof and was upfront and honest of what my next steps should be when considering claim, repairs, etc. My roof did not need to be replaced, but instead my siding/trim on my house and garage were replaced.

I will preface this review by saying what defines the quality of a company is how it responds when issues arise. With that being said, Jake and his team are nothing short of outstanding. We had hail damage from a fall storm and had a complete roof/gutter replacement done. The team was prompt, professional, and took care of pretty much everything from an insurance standpoint. They also did a great job with the actual product produced and cleaned up well after the job was completed. Now for what really sold me in determining this was an outstanding company: When I noticed they forgot to replace the downspout extensions on our gutters, they had someone from their team run some over that same day. When we noticed there was leaking around an exhaust vent on Christmas Day and we were about to leave town for multiple weeks, they had someone come out and patch it up the SAME DAY. I will never use another roofing/siding company again and I will always recommend Jake and crew to anyone who need a job done. Thank you again for everything!

Xtreme replaced my siding and roof and my dwelling and garage. With projects like this there are almost certainly going to be issues. It's how a company deals with these issues that determines their real quality. My sales rep Travis was absolutely outstanding. He was timely in his responses and quick to action complaints and issues. Travis was there with me through every step of the process and never let me feel like i wasnt important. The owner Darren also came out to my residence to ensure I was taken care of when issues arose. That said, this company uses contractors to complete their work so you may find some variance in quality. For example, the siding team did a great job but left a bit of a mess (something Darren dealt with promptly), the roofing team was amazing! Great product and no mess! Just something worth mentioning I think... Lastly, the agreed upon price is what I was charged. No hassel. I would not hesitate for a moment to work with Xtreme again. I would definitely request Travis as my sales rep again.

Darrin and his team (Ben and others) were great to work with. A neighbor had used them on a previous residence and spoke highly of them, so I called them. They were there that afternoon up on my roof noticing thing the previous estimator had missed and taping broken roof vents to prevent water damage in the meantime. Why didn’t the other company do that?
Anyway, they worked with my insurance company throughout (hail damage) and made sure they included everything one needs up here in Iowa as opposed to Texas where the insurance folks are. Darrin made sure they paid for everything and at the end I couldn’t have been happier. I highly recommend these gentlemen and their team.

Your ford flex with the company stickers was just speeding while texting on hwy 141 by Grimes. This is very dangerous and illegal. There was a fatal accident in this area last year hopefully your driver's start following the laws.

Well being a victim of a hit and run I will let any company know when I see a vehicle exceeding the posted speed limit and texting while speeding putting law abiding citizens at risk especially if it's your company name on it also as an owner I'm disappointed with your response on this matter it dosen't matter if you've done work for me. I drive that area all the time i drive all over this state.
I worked for a fleet company. get GPS and speed monitoring systems so you know who's driving bad. Don't be mad at the person who let's you know be mad at your driver that's going to cost you business

Xtream roofing is the best local business I have ever worked with for home repairs. In the last 3 years WDM has seen several hail and wind storms. We have had every roof contactor under the sun visit and want our business. This local company has the most respectful, responsive and loyal staff. They are a phone call away and their quality of work is outstanding. They are always available for questions and take the time to fully address all concerns. You won't be disappointed with this amazing family owned business.

They were the most reasonably priced out of the estimates I obtained. They were also by far the most responsive. Brad was in communication with me before, during, and after the job was done. He was kind and took the time to explain things to me as well. The crew showed up at 7:30ish am and worked until after 8 pm the first day and finished up within a couple hours the next day. They aren't afraid to work hard! They cleaned up after themselves, even saw one guy in my bushes, cleaning up debris. I would have never noticed if they had just left it there so I am pretty confident that they did a thorough job cleaning up. As long as their work holds up, I will be using them again next spring to roof my garage as well.

We had damage from hail and needed an entire replace from siding, roof, to gutters/downspouts. After taking our time to investigate versus going with a storm chaser knocking on our door..we called around, looked at company/BBB reviews and then decided on Xtreme after the owner really took time with us on a phone call. We don't have words to express how caring and amazing this family owned business is. We worked with their son Jake and from start to finish he took care of us like family. He always answered our calls or texts promptly, he stopped by repeatedly to make sure our project was going as planned, and just went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Xtreme is an established company and have crews that work for them that will show up on time, do quality work, are respectful, and hardworking. The crews that work for these companies matter as we've seen neighbors around us (that used another business), unfortunately, take weeks to get to work done. We had a full roof replaced, all siding, trim, facia, gutters/downspouts, and all new lights all done in 4 days of time. These guys are the best! Thank you!

Jake and his crew replaced our roof last summer. They completed the full roof replacement on time and did a nice job keeping the lawn and surrounding areas clean. The job was completed on schedule as well.

Fast forward about 8 months, and we had a small piece of shingle fall off after multiple strong storms blew through our area. I texted Jake about having the shingle replaced, and he immediately responded. Two days later a member of his crew came and fixed the shingle with no questions asked.

It was customer service at its finest, and I highly recommend Jake and Xtreme Roofing & Siding!

Jake and the crew just completed a roof replacement for me and did an excellent job. The estimate was spot on and the crew completed a tough job. They had to remove multiple layers and do a complete resheeting of the entire house in unbearable heat and humidity. Looks great and the cleanup was great as well. Highly recommend them. Other estimates where higher and further out. Great communication with Jake and staying in touch for when we were ready and it all worked well.

From the salesman who followed through until the roof and siding were completed to the crews that were both friendly and very conscientious to the owner and office staff that returned calls and even helped us decide on the color combination, we could not be more pleased with this company. When the buyer’s inspection showed hail damage to our roofs (both the house and a large three bay garage), we knew it would be impossible to get the roof replaced before the closing on the sale in just a few weeks. In stepped Xtreme Roofing - not only did they provide an estimate for our insurance claim, but also agreed to do the job for the claim amount and complete the job as soon as the claim was settled. I don’t know if anyone has had experience dealing with a claim in these circumstances, but they don’t exactly move quickly. When we were notified of the claim settlement there was only a week before the scheduled closing date. Xtreme stepped in and the roof replacement was completed with time to spare. While the closing could have been done without the work being completed, having it done certainly made things lots easier.

We can’t say enough about the cooperation, communications, skill and professionalism of Ben and the crew, five stars does not do them justice. Since we weren’t available to be at the house plenty of pictures and updates were provided and the complete job including tear off and cleanup was done in one day. The work was excellent and if you didn’t see some left-over material next to the drive (picked up the next morning) you would never know anyone had been there or that any work had been done.
No hesitation in recommending or using again.

All services performed were very timely and completed in a very professional manner with quality workmanship. We used them for partial siding replacement, roof replacement and gutter/downspout replacement. All crews left the work site clean.

Excellent service on a rental house- they removed 2 layers of shingles and replaced with high quality shingles,, fixed trim that had been damaged in a storm and did it all in less than a day and less than a week after I got the estimate. Great guys! Great work!

Little late on the review, had roof, some siding, and some gutters replaced after the very very rough storm came through and a tree fell on my home.
I requested a quote and came out literally a hour later and said we can have people here tomorrow to knock it out! I was amazed at that!

Only reason I put 4 starts is because 4+ months later I have found about 50+ roofing nails all around my house since installation, I have a dog and a 2 year old daughter that are very much out side a lot to play and enjoy being outside. I had to clean sweep all around my house and I still am finding them to this day.
Overall happy with the service.

I had extreme roof my house mid summer or so. When they got done it looked good. Then I really got to looking at it. Found several nails half way out and hammered over flat, shingles torn, shingles not laying flat (very hot that week) they should have laid done but didn't. Roofers bent my gutters up from ladders. (Did not fix) Have called several times and told yeah we will be out tomorrow to assess the problems. They never show up. I would strongly recommend not using them.

Not impressed, took nearly two weeks for a call back. Then 2-3 more weeks for someone to come for an estimate. It's been weeks since the estimate visit and never received any written estimate via email as promised. I was hoping these guys were different......guess not.

Received a pathetic response from the owner that makes no sense and offers excuses instead of solutions; a common theme in this line of work.

This is a customer service based industry for which you have no clue how to represent yourself or your business. Hopefully others will seek professionals and avoid Xtreme Roofing & Siding as a business that insults and makes assumptions on potential customers. Your loss....

Jake and the Xtreme team are exceptional. My family was made to feel welcomed and not pressured. This was a stressful situation, but with Jake and his team at Xtreme Roofing & Siding guiding us step by step we were able to navigate through the insurance hurdles. Xtreme team was on my roof with my adjuster. Talk about service! My family couldn't be more pleased. Jake and Brad built our family a brand new composite deck. They turned a old wooden deck into a new picture frame composite masterpiece. They did a tremendous job the whole time during the project and our family couldn’t be more proud we went with them from Xtreme. I will definitely go to them for projects in the future.

We struggled to find someone to do a small job, a roof leak and some missing shingles. Jake was the best! He showed up when he said, the work was done super fast and for a super reasonable cost. Sounds like a cheesy review but its a big deal to me to have someone so easy to work with like this company. Thanks Jake :)

Xtreme did a terrific job replacing my home & garage roof. Jake is super to work with and their quote included everything, even reinstalling and calibrating the dish (which another contractor wanted me to contact the cable company to do it. Who has time for that?) His crew was fast, efficient and they cleaned up everything...no nails or bits of shingle materials in the yard. They covered all my flower beds too. Their quote was $2500 less than my highest bidder but a $1500 over the lowest bidder. I believe in integrity and really liked Jack so I went with Xtreme. you wont be disappointed in their top notch service. Promised to have it done in one day and they delivered.

I hired Xtreme to do several projects from gutters, roofing to fencing and limestone driveway work. Each time was a good experience so I have recommended them to Family in Omaha NE after a large hailstorm. To this day all referrals are happy. One thing that impressed me most was clean up and workmanship.
