LeafFilter Gutter Protection - Roanoke, VA

Wow! Hold on to your money! Our end result, after dropping a boat load of it is so unsatisfactory that we still have to either climb that ladder, or since we are seniors, hire someone at least once a year to clean off the gutter guards! We could have done that, easily, with the money we spent on this! When we reached out to Leaf Filter we were pretty much told, sorry about your luck. I have some great videos showing the water pouring back under the gutters and splashing down the house! Shame on you Leaf Filter for taking advantage of people who are just trying to care for their homes.

I hired this company to install gutter guards. Prior to the installation, I spoke with and showed both the sales rep as well as the installers the newly seeded lawn in my backyard. I made it clear they were not to get in the yard. I even suggested they access the gutters from the roof as there was easy access from my driveway. Instead they destroyed my yard. One area on the upper side resembled what one would see in a pig sty in that the smooth grass was turned into literal clumps of mud. In other areas it was obvious they walked all over the grass and / or laid tools, etc. about. They broke limbs on crepe myrtles and did not clean up the mess. All of this could have and should have been avoided by simply accessing the rear gutter from the roof. The damage destroyed the grading which was done prior to seeding which led to severe erosion and in literally 9 days, what was becoming a beautiful green lawn became dirt and I will have to have the work redone in the spring.

You were timely, followed up with my interest from an online site. Came to meet me in a timely fashion, presented your products professionally, and installers came on the date and time promised. You completed the job in one day, cleaned up very well and the work was well done.

From the sales presentation to the installation, everything was excellent. The cost was several thousand dollars less than I expected. The two installers worked steadily and efficiently. The new gutters look so nice! I had dealt with water coming into my basement. During the recent heavy rains, thanks to my new gutters, a dry basement!

I don't use this company and have never inquired for any of their products or services but I have received 10 phone calls in the last 4 days (I am on the do not call list!) and text messages from multiple "LeafFilter" phone numbers after multiple "STOP" requests. Pieces of mail keep showing up as well that I wish I could return to sender. Shoving a product down someone's throat and harassing them constantly to buy what you're selling only pushes a potential client away. Will definitely NOT be doing business.

I literally did nothing but shake my head twice. Once for a quote and once for the ok to do the work. That easy. Came the same week and the installers were fast. Looks like they are floating on the side of the building. Perfect!

Everyone in the organization is capable and trained with a great work ethic. Politeness and understanding inspire the customer to be relaxed and grateful. This is a formula for success.....

I was pleasantly surprised that my question on the day of installation prompted a visit the following morning by a senior technician. He took some photos himself and climbed up to take a look at my installation. He then took time to explain the minor oversights, which he stated would be rectified very shortly. Within a day or two, the original installation technician appeared at my house and made a few minor adjustments to remedy the problem(s). I was really glad to receive such quick response and great customer care. Thank you, LeafFilter.

I have had this product on my house for a year now and it’s been nothing but trouble. When they installed the Leaf Filter‘s, they did not clean out the gutters thoroughly and the guys who installed the system couldn’t even speak English and they all look like MS 13 members Now almost a year later, I’m having problems again with the gutters and can’t get anyone to come out and look at them or fix the problem. I would not recommend this company to anybody.

The salesperson worked with me on the price and contract details and the installer came exactly when he was scheduled to be here.

The Leaf Filter gutter workers were excellent in their installing the gutter protection devices and were even willing for me to have pictures taken of the completed work they did!

We loved working with the people at Leaf Filter. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. We got an appointment for our quote and gutters the next week. It was such a quick and smooth process. The new gutters look great and work just as promised

Leaf Filter products do NOT work! I had them installed a number of years ago. They clog with pollen; yes, POLLEN ! The water runs over in buckets. The first time I complained I was charged $90 for a repair man to respond to "fix the problem". It has been "fixed" numerous more times! I wish I could get a refund of the purchase price, but they have refused at higher levels. I found there was a class action law against LeafFiler for the same thing. LeafFilter had to pay.

A great rep Drew, who listened to my concerns, and the install crew were amazing. Very polite and respectful. They all deserve a raise!! Kudo's to the whole experience!!

So far so good. I like the product. I still have one of y'all's sign up near my place on the side facing the road so when people rides up and down the hill and when they turn in the driveway, they can see it. The other sign was in my front yard but it was in the way a lot. So to help the company out, I put y'all's 2nd sign near a street sign off 29 north bound in Blairs, VA. beside the entrance going to the dumpster across Adkins Trucks, so when people rides by it, either going north bound or turning in to throw their trash away they will see the sign. You can see it some going south bound going toward Danville, VA. cause it's up on a hill beside the street sign near the highway if people looks in that direction. I put it there couple weeks ago and went by it today and it's still there. Hope it helps bring y'all more business cause y'all do have good quality leaf filter protection for the gutters. God Bless!

The gentleman was on time and very friendly, but when I climbed up on a ladder to look at the work it was done very shoddy. Not at all like pictures I saw . Not only that the contract stated that clean up was included in the price. Nothing was cleaned up. I will have to clean that up myself. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Leaf gutter guards installed. I didn’t know I had such a severe problem until the storm after they were installed. It’s great having gutters that work!

Don't use this company. They contracted work with us and then never showed up. They initially rescheduled but we found out that wasn't done. They didn't return phone calls or respond to emails, their management has not returned communication and there were a lot of deceptive sales practices during the demonstration process concerning the lifetime warranty and outrageous claims. The house was never measured, there is no basis or formula for their $5000 quote and we found out that anything laying on, clogging or sticking to the leaf filter does not constitute a product malfunction under warranty. It was represented that the product would handle 70 gallons of water per minute. The salesperson engaged in high pressure sales tactics by encouraging us to schedule on their time for an additional 15% discount. We scheduled for 2 days later and they never showed up. Now that they have failed to perform work and they know that we want to cancel the job, they are avoiding our calls and emails while attempting to cite the 33% cancellation fee that is mentioned on the back of the contract. There was no down payment on this job and Leaf Filter didn't turn the first screw! That is the main reason for the negative review on this company and my assertion of deceptive practices. I would wager to say they attempt to collect on invalid contracts and cancellation fees. When I called corporate, I was told that they would turn this over to a collections agency if I canceled the job. Go ahead, make my day! Good luck with trying to collect on a contract that isn't even valid!

UPDATE FOR THE COMPANY WHO NOW DOESNT WANT TO TAKE ANY ACCOUNTABILITY—REFERENCE JOB ROA07623 contracted on 8-3-22 for completion on 8-5-22 by Mr. Mutispaugh as well as the calls I placed to your local office and the emails can all be proven. Don’t you you even dare try to shirk this one and act like you can’t find this. I’ll post your contract AND the camera footage of your company sales rep NOT measuring anything so he can stuff the deal!

Gutter guards were professionally installed and a month later are working as advertised. We will know more in a year.

Drew Zimmerman, he came correct,educated me/is on what you all do in the gutter industry and why you all are the best. The whole deal was awesome. He needs to be promoted. And everyone in between who came and installed the system was great. Especially the guy who came and installed the down spout he was so quick and procise

They arrived quickly after signing the deal to install the product. The first tech left one short area uncovered so I had to call and get them to come back to finish the job. Otherwise it looks like it will keep our gutters clean.

Ever since I got my leaf filter I immediately grew a 15 year old teen boy haircut and started wearing a sweater vest and got my teeth whitened. 6 months later my leaf problem went away along with my Erectile dysfunction. Highly recommend!

Never came on scheduled appointment. Had to reschedule twice for a estimate. Then they wouldn't even give the estimate cause they said I wasn't in the system and wanted to come out again. They ball parked a figure which was ridiculous amount of money. We will not being doing any kind of business

Awesome company to do business with. From the salesman to the installer, everything was done quickly, efficiently and very professionally

I was visited by the sales representative (Jared) on August 26, 2021. The price he gave me for the work was $3883, if I accepted that day the price would be $3106. I told him I would have to think about it. He left and texted me an hour later with a new price of $2550, if I would go ahead and commit. I told him I may be able to do the work on or around September 15th. I texted him back later and told him I would not be able to move forward with the work on the 15th. He responded with a new price of $1250. I am very disappointed because of how bad I would have been taken if I had agreed to the original price. I'm in sales and I know how important the price is to the end user. The first price I offer to the end user is my best price. I do not try to take the customer for as much as I can and drop the price considerably in a short amount of time. It makes me think the sales representative is very desperate or the product is not that good. There was definitely a lack of professionalism in my opinion.

They replaced our gutters completely, did a great job, the only bone I would pick is they refused to use my name, when I bought this house I did not know my husband. Robin H Franklin, wrote the review, and the check..

We have trees overhanging the house that drop leaves, sticks, and seed pods that clutter our gutters. This means we have to clean the gutters twice a year (and should do it more often) because this mess causes the cutters to overflow. Since installing the LeafFilter System, we've had several heavy rains and NO overflows. From the ground, you can't even tell there is anything installed in the gutters; the filters blend in so well.

Still waiting on a response to fixing a poor installation...a month later. I continue to be told to call in.. multiple tickets opened to get someone to finally stop by once. Was told I would need a follow up appointment and that I would receive a call which I have not yet heard from anybody on.

At first quick response, once installed and paid for I've basically been ghosted. Installer said a few days after he finished someone else would be out to button it all up, that was 5/10/21. I emailed the sales person and the installation manager multiple times asking for info and got a "someone will reach out to you soon" one time. This is on top of being threatened with Collections because I didn't reach someone on 5/11/21 to pay.

The rep, Joshua, was really informative . He had all the questions answered before they were asked. The visuals were very helpful. The entire family is happy not to have to clean gutters again. The system works very well. I'm glad we went for it.
