Aubuchon Hardware - Rumford, ME

I stopped by to pick up a new chain for my chainsaw not having a clue on what type I needed or anything and Zack Putnam was a huge help getting me what I needed.

Zack was very helpful and is one of the hardest working kids here! 5 out of 5 ⭐️ for this location

Here it goes. The old saying the squeaky wheel gets the grease is true. It took a little while but I got my parts. I have always had great luck shopping at Aubuchon. The people are great and very helpful as well. My last order for some chainsaw parts found me waiting quite a long time. This is no fault of the people at Aubuchon that helped me order them. Apparently the manufacturer has had some either production issues or distribution issues. In any event, my parts are now in the store waiting for my pickup. The vendor for the parts apparently went out of his way to find the parts that I needed. My initial complaint this morning was resolved by lunch time. In my eyes that's good customer service!

Top notch store in Rumford! Never has failed for me. I have put many projects together there. Chainsaw sales and service plus special order stuff ! Kudos!

I purchased a Dewalt Weed wacker about 2 years ago. I brought it in today because I was having problems with it.
They could not fix it they called and offered me a new one to replace it free of charge.
I try to buy local if I can. This just proves to me to always support our local stores.

I love this store. The employees are always so friendly in a very genuine way, and they’re generous with their knowledge. They always offer help carrying purchases to my car. It’s very convenient to the grocery store across the road, so getting errands done is faster. The selection is good, and I like that they have gardening products by Maine companies.

Never a bad experience at the Rumford Aubuchon, the crews are always helpful. This past fall I made a chainsaw purchase with a different retail store. Long story short, it turned into a 5 month long warrantee nightmare with many miles and frustrating interactions with the other chain, manufacturers and certified service centers to get my issue resolved, which never happened with them. When store manager K.J. got wind of my issue he reached out to me to have me swing down the shop. As a licensed dealer of the brand I was having issues with, he had my 5 month nightmare resolved in less than 20 minutes and I was on my way with a functioning chainsaw. They will for sure be my first go-to from here on out for related equipment. Thank you!

Great small town business. I was able to get a chainsaw that I really needed during an overlanding trip at a great price!

Pleasant and very helpful staff. I was impressed by the effort the guys at the Rumford ME store made to get us the gas grill we wanted. They put someone on putting one together as soon as we showed interest. About an hour later they were helping us load the grill into my truck. Great service with genuine cave for the customer. We'll be back.

The staff are always super helpful. The last few times I’ve been there, I have used curbside pick up. I just text them when I get there and within three or four minutes, they come out with my receipt and they load everything into my car. The online ordering process couldn’t be any easier.

I live in the area so it's easy for me to go there and get what I need whenever there is not a weird brother or somebody like home Depot is an hour away

Recommended the solution that worked, stocked it, and knew right where to find it. Always quick and easy.

Great hardware store. Always super tidy and neat. The employees are always willing to help look for the things you need. The manager is especially kind and jovial

Great selection, terrific customer service. I LOVE that I can order online at insomia-o'clock and pick up in the morning, to start my project early. The website is also one of the best at letting you see exactly what's in stock at your local store. Prices are comparable to the big box stores, with generally better quality. For instance, cheap topsoil purchased didn't the street was liked grey death... Cheap topsoil at Aubuchon actual grew stuff!

They have what we need more often than not, if they dont they are very helpful in making me aware when it will be in again. The customer service is amazing! They are popular so don't be shocked if there are 1-2 people ahead of you in line. Chicks are kept in a ventilated tote with a heat lamp and I have only seen 1 sick chick in nearly a decade of sholling there, and when it was brought to their attention the immediately separated it into a sick-bin with a new lamp and shavings and checked all the chicks it was in with, before labeling both boxes as 24 hour quarantine.

Best thing to get here is Tools, dirt/mulch, animal feed and hardware. they do have some pet & kid toys but its a very small selection as that is not what they specialize in.

The website is the best/easiest one I've ever used at identifying what's in your local branch. The staff in this particular store are always friendly and helpful. There's also a great rewards program: it's the only one I have that actually gives me money to spend in the store. No muss, no fuss: I do my regular shopping and every so often I have a five or ten dollar credit.

I am a new home owner in the area and we are always greeted and helped when we walk in the store... love this!! I will never go to a home depot or Lowes again.

Aubuchon is my go to for projects and repairs. If I can’t find it they can and they are all friendly and so helpful!! This store in Rumford is very community oriented, which makes me love them even more!!!

This is a good hardware plus store. A little expensive, but when no other place in town has what you need, Aubuchon Hardware usually does.

Very educated on plumbing, i had a collapsed sewer pipe and they had the only parts i needed. No one rangeley or Farmington had the parts i needed. Thank you aubuchons

Somewhat good SERVICE but today I go in to tell them they didn't return money back to bank card that was there computer glit from 3 days ago still not returned only 50$ but it mine. I run into this young lady behind register. and she is not helpful saying try waiting another week can you call you the manager. She says I thought he would be here today try tomorrow that would be the third time. Wow BETTER use cash at this place..

Always ready to go above and beyond to be sure you get the correct stuff for your project. They take the time to explain each step of the process to get the results you would like. My lawn is looking great, Thanks for the help!!!
