AmeriPro Roofing - Columbus, OH

When I first posted my review, I didn't realize that my amazing experience was 100% due to the amazing work of the sales rep Coltin Rohn and had 0 to do with the actual company. Since my roof was replaced, I have nothing but a negative experience with this company. They continue to send me threatening texts/emails (Carlos Sanchez has been a nightmare to deal with - Blaming ME for what my insurance company is or isn't doing) - telling me I should find a lawyer... all because my insurance company is being slow to pay the final bill (something to which I have no control over). I would NOT recommend Ameripro at all. Find a company that actually cares about you as a person. This company DOES NOT. Once they have you as a customer, they treat you like crap. BEWARE!!

Coltin Rohn SAVED my roof. I had an insurance claim from February 2024, and I went through three different roofing companies that said they all would help me through the process and all three of those ghosted me when things got hard with my insurance company. Then I went with AmeriPro and Coltin was amazing. He helped me through every step of the way and within a couple months my claim went from being at a stalemate to being approved as a full roof replacement. He communicated with me on a daily basis on what I should expect each step along the way - I would highly recommend Coltin Rohn!

Carson came to our house and helped us work with our insurance company to get all new insulated siding on our house and we cannot be any happier! He helped guide us through the process and made sure we were able to get everything covered. He even came out and personally rolled again for nails in the yard because we mentioned we had dogs, he really went above and beyond! Sabrina was also super helpful with our payment process and managing our account. Our house looks so refreshed and we get so many compliments from neighbors and family. We definitely recommend reaching out if you are looking to replace your siding!

AmeriPro Roofing replaced my roof and gutters. Their customer service was great, I am so pleased with the end result. The team was efficient, and very courteous. I would recommend this company for any roofing/gutter needs.

Colton Rohn came out to give me a free consultation and he pointed out what he was looking for and explained things well. Overall very professional!

I had an original inspection done by another company that resulted in essentially a denied claim. Then after denying the claim, my insurance company notified me that they would not renew my coverage unless I got my roof replaced. I got a referral for AmeriPro from a friend who had just had his roof replaced. Coltin came out to give me a second opinion and helped me get my claim reopened. This resulted in my claim being covered for a full replacement! Coltin was there every step of the way with updates and next step expectations. Materials were delivered when he said they would be. The crew thoroughly prepped for demo, working around a disabled vehicle in my driveway, and leaving my yard cleaner than it was when they arrived. Great job all around!!!

Colton came to access any damage to my roof and he was very professional and there was no pressure to sell me new services, but just gave me a few recommendations.

Gabe worked with us through the entire process and quickly answered any questions we had. He made the process very clear and easy. Their team did a great job and we are very happy with the outcome.

They replaced our roof in 2022 under a storm damage claim. Generally, the work was good, but I specifically pointed out an existing leaky area during the initial inspection and again on the day of installation, and it was not fixed. They refused to come back and fix the wall/roof flashing that was letting water into the space over the garage/porch. I can’t recommend them for this reason and am docking them 3 stars because of that.

Representative Coltin Rohn first identified the hail damage to my roof and was my contact throughout the roof replacement process. I rank the service, product, and support for this roof replacement as "Outstanding".

Coltin met personally with my insurance adjuster to ensure all damage was noted and included in my claim. Consequently, the claim process was smooth and they were able to begin work quickly. The installation crew worked well and the onsite supervisor was great in keeping me informed on the process and addressing any concerns/questions I had. They did a great job of clean up as well!

We just finished with final payment and I am very pleased with the appearance of my roof and quality of installation. I commend the professionalism and friendliness of everyone involved with this job. Thank you and Great job!!

Coltin went above and beyond for me. He is a consummate professional. If I could give more than 5 stars to him, I would. My insurance denied my claim for storm damage repair, and he fought for me and found a way for the repairs to be done. I highly recommend him and Ameripro Roofing!

10/10 service from start to finish. Will be my go to company for any roofing services in the future. Coltin walked me through every step, helped with insurance, checked in multiple times once the work was complete. He was one of the main reasons the whole project went perfect.

Install was very quick and work was done well. Ben Kneip especially made everything even easier when helping get my roof claim started. Would definitely recommend.

This was a terrible experience. I was told the job would take 3-4 days. It took 3 weeks. The communication within the company is terrible. You can talk to 3 different people and they will all give you a different answer and not a single one of them will be right in the end. And no attempt to get accurate info on their end will be made. You will also have to constantly remind them to do their jobs from dealing with the insurance company, which was a big part of the sales pitch, to sending the bill so you can pay for the job.

Inspector for this company saw the sign and still placed an estimate tag at the foot of the door.
Worrying they would see the sign and still push their services, are they that desperate for a sale?

Carson’s honesty and integrity is what sealed it for me to choose AmeriPro for all my home improvement needs. He walked me through the process in putting my claim in to my insurance company. Along with any questions I had while the repairs were being completed. That was the best part, Carson wanted to earn my business every step of the way. I want to thank Carson and everyone involved at AmeriPro for making this experience as smooth as possible.

We had the pleasure of working with AmeriPro Roofing for a complete roofing and gutter system replacement. The shingles were a state-of-the-art upgrade from what we had in place allowing for a new 50-Year Warranty upon completion. The seamless and leakproof gutters widened in specifications from 4” to 6” widths to better address the steep angles of our rooflines. We optioned for miter less corner pieces, as well as ice prevention/leaf debris guards which combine to limit the prospects of maintenance while adding to the visual appeal and workmanship. The downspouts design matched the greater water volume of larger storms to our fixed underground piping. From the initial consultation to the final inspection, their team demonstrated a high level of professionalism, expertise, and diligence. Guiding us through the entire process to ensure we understood each step, they provided excellent recommendations on materials, which inspired confidence to move forward.

I would be remiss if I did not save the most deserving praise for last. Our family had the tremendous guidance, fortune and pleasure to have met and worked directly with AmeriPro Roofing’s Restoration Specialist - Coltin. He was the last of three contractor estimates that I sought out to address this project need. I have been in sales and sales training all of my professional life and recognize a Total Customer Satisfaction mindset personality when I see it in action. Coltin’s personable professionalism is the personification of all of that phrase. His above and beyond efforts to coordinate engagement with my Insurance Company representatives, be present to arrive on the day of my insurance company’s appointment to inspect the roof and gutters and to see it all through to fruition was far above the call. His repeat contact after all work concluded as well as after the following first rainfall was highly impressive. AmeriPro Roofing was not the least expensive of the proposals I sourced. However, Coltin & AmeriPro were clear and far above the best value!

The Supervisor came to see what I complained about and offered to send someone to clean the scratches, someone came today and cleaned up the scratches.
I give them now 5 stars for their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Our experience with AmeriPro overall was good.
The Restoration Specialist we worked with (Coltin Rohn) was very thorough to explain the process, and very patient with me when I asked him things he had already explained. We encounter a roadblock with my insurance and he helped me grab some more pictures. Working with him was a great experience.
The roof replacement process was OK. The crew that did it worked hard, got early and worked until it was late, but can be more careful about picking up the debris and taking precautions before removing the old shingles, we had a couple of window screens damaged because of the falling debris/old shingles, I still find a few nails around the driveway or the front yard.
While the crew worked on the roof, I didn’t see someone supervising the job, I consider this to be an opportunity for improvement.

Ben Kniep stopped out and met with Allstate and was able to get my roof approved when they initially didn’t want to. The crew did great and the roof looks excellent we’re very happy with how Ameripro did the work

8/13/24: Updating my review after speaking with my sales rep, Edimar Pertile. Although his portion of the job was completed, he took time out of his day to call me, explain the final invoice process, and put my mind at ease. This is why I chose to go with AmeriPro because of the professionalism, kindness and willingness to help from Edimar! Edimar represented AmeriPro WELL!!

Jacques LePage was also another WONDERFUL representative I worked with at AmeriPro!! He truly helped to streamline the process and stay on top of my insurance adjuster to provide the full benefits available. He was professional, kind, and personable!

The installation team did a great job!! They ensured to clean up afterwards and nothing was destroyed. The only qualm I had with them is the fact they left the trailer in my driveway blocking me in my garage with NO communication. They completed the job Friday, May 24th. It took me having to contact Edimar to get in contact with the project manager. The project manager, or whomever they were, FINALLY picked up the trailer Sunday, May 26th AND they took (stole) one of the two packs of remaining shingles. Thankfully I took a picture/video prior to pickup which showed there were two packs of shingles remaining.

The financial analyst (Carlos Sanchez) with AmeriPro Roofing was not the best to work with! He would NOT CORRECT the pictures he sent. They were not what my insurance adjuster requested in order to release depreciation! I HAD to get up on my ladder and take what pictures my adjuster needed. NOT MY JOB! Carlos also said if the adjuster didn't respond that I would be responsible for the final $17k invoice. From my updated call with Edimar, he explained I would not and that it will be worked out between the insurance adjuster and AmeriPro.

I will still include, buyer beware, because not all representatives with AmeriPro are willing to ensure the consumer is not at risk.

First off I want to think Ben Kniep for his awesome customer service and helping me along the way. He was very professional and always answered any questions I had for my claim through state farm. Once the claim got approved they had the materials ready to go and wasted no time putting my roof and gutters on. Highly recommended for all your home needs!

Working with AmeriPro contractor Coltin Rohn was an excellent experience. He managed everything efficiently, and his peoples skills were exceptional. Coltin was kind, concerned, and professional from start to finish, ensuring the job was completed to our satisfaction.

I had originally hired a contractor and got denied by guard insurance. I hired a Ameri pro and then came out not only did he get my roof fully approved, but he also got some of my gutters and downspouts approved too and hail damage and is very good at his job. I highly recommend using him in the future.

Had an excellent experience with AmeriPro Roofing. I mostly dealt with Coltin Rohn, and he was awesome. Starting from identifying damage on my siding to dealing with my insurance company, to getting the siding replaced, he managed everything, following up with me and notifying me about the progress all through the process. I barely had to pay much attention to it and yet the job done was fantastic. My wife and I are very impressed with the quality of service from Coltin and all the Ameripro employees we dealt with. Ben Kneip is a stellar roofing expert who truly knows his craft! He is courteous to all his clients and takes the time to help them though all the decision processes! Absolutely a stellar human being!

It’s always stressful getting big jobs done around the house but Colton said to me to relax and let him take care of it. He is a man of his word. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better to work with. In the future I will always work with Colton and recommend him to everyone who is in need. Colton is not only a man of his word but he will explain the whole process and check in on everything. This has been a horrible experience for me. There is no way this should have all happened like this. I waited at home three different days for crew to show up and nothing. I should not of had to bug everyone asking what the status was all the time to get anything done. I was told how great Ameripro was to work for (which that rep is no longer there after I signed for Ameripro to do job!).I also dont believe that to remove the materials they cut a new box of siting, edging and other trim up. I was told this was getting returned? A quick summery:November 15th - Sent text and email asking for corrected invoice. Nothing, sent this emailNovember 13th - Sent text and email asking for the corrected invoice. Still nothingNovember 8th - Received invoice, the $311 from the electric meter was not removed, asked to have it fixed and was supposed to be resent.October 31st - No crew again for repairs nobody for gutters. No call/No update - (waited at home)October 30th - No show/no call - said crew will be here for repair work. (waited at home)Also, gutter work did not start today (told it would be Monday or Tuesday)October 20th - Materials still here, no date for gutter work, dent in window trim, boxed in gutter? Gutter downspouts not going into ground and missing.October 19th - Materials still here, no date for gutter work, dent in window trim, boxed in gutter? They finished our entire roof, including the garage, in just one day. And they were meticulous with cleaning up afterwards. Roof looks fantastic. Everyone was polite and professional.

Worst overall experience I have ever had. Representatives were unprofessional and not helpful. My concerns went unanswered. The install crew was horrible and I have no faith that my roof was completed correctly. Had to fix multiple issues on my own after roof was installed. Then the roof leaked at first rainfall. Horrible experience and I have zero expectation that my roof was installed correctly. I just pray that it lasts.

I recently had my roof replaced by AmeriPro! I would rate my level of satisfaction as 100%! The sales rep, Matt Hollingsworth, was excellent! So helpful and thorough in explaining everything and guiding me through the process! The work crew was amazing! Extremely polite and accommodating, on-task workers, and the cleanup was VERY well done! I highly recommend this company! Good job, guys!

We had storm damage and water dripping into our attic. Josh Gellis worked with our insurance and did everything promptly and professionally. He made it easy and quick and even had it expedited since we had an active leak. The crew worked sun up to sun down and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. We are very pleased with the service and highly recommend working with Josh!

I can't say enough about Melissa and Tomas. Realizing we had to replace our roof was stressful, but Melissa made the process seamless and gave us peace of mind. The roof looks absolutely amazing and Tomas got everything completely promptly. I genuinely enjoyed working with both of them. I know having to deal with the results of our crazy weather is no fun, but Ameripro will work with insurance and get things sparkling and new.

There was zero communication. Material just showed up one day and another we were woken up at 6:30am with people walking and pounding on the roof. Zero warning. And then we are asked to blindly pay a bill with no invoice. Do you ever go into a store and get asked to pay $100 without even being rang up? No! Who does that! Absolutely awful. Only reason I didn't give a 0 is because we did get a new roof. Although, parts were spray painted which will dry and chip off and look awful soon. Would never recommend.

Came out to my house & gave an estimate. Call back to have them do the service. Got a big run around that they do not do rubber roofing after they quoted me & told me that they do it... Then I called back & they told me that they can not help me. That they do not do rubber roofing. Then I called 3 different times & customer service sales reps told me that they do infact do rubber roofing so of course they lied to me on multiple different times. Big liars & unprofessional..

Guys came out and did a full replacement on my roof. The thing turned out perfect. My Rep Ben was with the team and me every step of the way from keeping me informed on what's going on to making sure I was satisfied at the end. Highly Recommend working with Ben.

Sales person did not meet with both husband and wife together to share info. Felt as if info was shady.
Contract was signed (in a hurry) before insurance adjuster visited the property.

I received a full roof replacement. The team was incredibly professional! Ben Kniep worked diligently with the insurance companies for myself and my neighbors to permit coverage of our homes due to a recent hail storm plus wind damage. The installation crew was also very professional. Special care was taken to go over my yard several times with the giant magnets in order to protect my dogs' paws from stray nails. They were also very thorough in their debris cleanup and protective of my Azalea bushes. Lastly, to top the exquisitely professional roofing job that they did (including some wood replacement); they also spray painted all of the vent pipes to match the roofing (in addition to replacing the roofcaps). Overall, a very good job done by a full team - start to finish - of very kind hearted people with great attention to detail.

Ben Kniep came out and helped me get State Farm to pay for my roof after we had hail damage. The crew did a great job and finished all of it in less the day with no mistakes. I would highly recommend Ameripro they are very professional and knowledgeable.

We have had an excellent experience so far while using Ameripro. Our Sales Persons name was Josh, he works quickly and is honest/follows through on his promises to help us work with our insurance.

The team that installed our roof worked quickly and efficiently. They did a great job and were sure to throughly clean up the yard from debris/nails when their job was complete. Highly recommend and will continue to recommend to family and friends!

This company replaced our roof. They brought two sheets of plywood. Our roof was stormed damaged, facia and gutter were damaged. New shingles were laid over top of Rottenwood. Multiple soft spots all over our roof. The employees that showed up to do the roof did not have toolboxes rather they kept their tools and suitcases and spoke zero English whatsoever. Luckily I speak Spanish…..I even helped them change the oil in their vehicle in my driveway. The employees asked me if they could borrow a screwdriver because they did not have one. Shotty work, on the roof and gutters as well. When they removed my gutters they had gutter guards on the top of them. The gutter guards were never reinstalled, and half of my downspouts were not caulked. The drip edge was cut at random intervals which appears to me that the drip edge was left over from a previous job. I urge anybody considering this company for their roofing or gutter needs to stay far far away from them. I am in the middle of disputing the claim with my insurance and ameripro is completely unresponsive. SCAMMERS!!!!!! Absolutely a disgrace.

Ben Kniep did a great job getting me approved and helping me work with my insurance company.
