These guys are AWESOME! From scheduling to completion, the Roof Detective was professional, diligent and thorough. They arrived on time and went the extra mile to protect our house and yard. They definitely went over and above to get this job complete!

A great experience with this company when I have had to call for a minor repair check around my chimney or, later, investing in a new roof. Rico Perez will educate you about the products they use as he develops your quote, and Yobani's install team was excellent at getting the job done with minimal disruption and pristine cleanup. Had a great experience from start to finish with The Roof Detective. We noticed some stains on our bedroom ceiling and had them come out to check, as we had had a friend have a good experience previously. We had to at a minimum repair that section of the roof (which was an option provided) but we ended deciding to replace the whole thing due to it's age. The options were not overwhelming and very easy to figure out what fit us best. Some hickups (due to our roof) on the day it was being replaced, but it didn't set them back on finishing it in time and they were able to easily explain and deal with the problem. Upon completetion not all the materials in the estiamtes were needed so we got a credit for what wasn't used. All and all a good low hassle experience.

Sarah was incredible with our roof project from start to finish! She showed up on time everytime, helped find us the best roof option & had it finished in hours on the day she said she would! I could not recommend her more & I will always make her my go-to for roof repairs! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a great experience we had with The Roof Detective's Investigator, Joe Miller. He really took the time to inspect our roof and put a temporary fix on our facia until it could be repaired. We look forward to working with him for furture roof repairs.

We had an ongoing leak that was difficult to diagnose. We went through multiple roofers to try to remedy the problem. I used The Roof Dectective for a roof replacement after storms in the area. Due to insurance claim issues, it took quite some time. Despite this, Taylor Garcia was great at communicating and was so helpful, providing guidance throughout the process. They never gave up on their commitment to replace my roof and have it coverd by insurance. All my questions were answered along the way and services provided were excellent. The crew that came to do the roof was efficient and worked quickly, doing a great job. I can't say enough good things about this company and the people who work there.

I had a hail storm roll thru while I was on vacation. I immediately contacted Shane at The Roof Detective and he was "on the case"! Within a few days, I was contacted by Taylor that he found damage to not only my roof, but screens, window wraps and gutters. He even looked at my cars and saw damage on them. We used Roof Detectives recently to replace the majority of our roof. They were easy to work with and did good work at a reasonable price that fit our budget. Our rep was Shane Sparks, and he answered all of our questions (and there were many!) clearly. He also worked with us to get the proposal adjusted to just how we wanted it (e.g. specific materials, adding venting, etc.). On the day of the work, the crew arrived promptly and worked efficiently to complete the job in one day. This was done in the middle of winter, so our window of opportunity was narrow and it was essential that it not have to be split across multiple days. The cleanup was thorough, and we found no nails and only minimal debris in the days following the work. Since we only did a partial roof replacement, we will need to get the remainder done in the next couple of years, and we will not hesitate to use Roof Detectives again for that project.

The roof detective team is highly professional and provided the necessary diagnosis to our roofing issues. This was an ongoing issue that was misdiagnosed by others but they were able to explain the differences and clarify misinformation. We would recommend them for any potential customers looking for first in class experience and product.

I basically echo everything that the other 5-star reviews say about the company. We worked with Joe Miller, and he made the process easy start to finish. He did the inspection when we didn't know how much of a problem we might have after we discovered a leak following a nasty storm. We had never filed a claim before with our homeowners insurance, and he was there to help with nuanced and expert input on the ins and outs of roof stuff and Ohio code stuff, making a complicated process easy on us. He was helpful picking out the roof shingle too, listening to what we were thinking and making sure we were happy with the brand and color we chose.
The install itself went smoothly. The whole job, house and garage, was done in a single day. The crew did a great job, it looks really nice, and they even added some attic vents that we didn't have before to improve airflow. Importantly, they also cleaned up really well afterwards so we barely found a loose nail in our yard.
Joe came back around afterward to check the job and make sure we were happy with it. We were, and I highly recommend Roof Detective and Joe to anyone that thinks they might have a roof issue.

Tony was such a pleasure to work with. I actually stayed with him when he joined this company because of his commitment to my case. The whole process took 3 months because my insurance company was AWFUL. Tony knows the process inside and out and helped me with what to say and do. Honestly it will be weird not texting him every other day about my roof he really has gone above and beyond. Having to get a new roof can be stressful and difficult when going through insurance. The Roof Detective just finished installing a new roof on my home and I was very impressed. This was an expensive project, $40K+, and Brody and TJ did a great job going back and forth with the insurance company until they agreed to pay for it in full. There were 16 roofers doing the job and they finished in one day. The finished result looks great. Five stars for sure!

We loved working with Nick to install our new roof! It’s a big expense, so we were nervous, especially after working with another company for repairs that never solved the problem. Thankfully, friends of ours referred us to The Roof Detective. We are impressed by Nick’s knowledge and clear explanations of the problems. He was very personable, easy to work with, and texted us updates while the work was being done on the house. We especially liked that we were able to make decisions based on a clear estimate and identification of the needs of our roof, unlike an estimate from a second opinion which gave us a vague range that offered us a lower initial price and then “hinted” we may have additional problems - problems that Nick knew would be an expense in the first place. We ended up paying almost exactly what was quoted. The roof looks great and has a comprehensive warranty, so I know we’re in good hands for the rest of our time in our home!

I typically don’t write reviews, but my recent encounter with Roof Detective compelled me to share my outstanding experience. Working closely with both Mike and Danielle was an absolute pleasure. Their professionalism and ease of communication stood out. They patiently explained the necessary steps, making the process straightforward.
Mike’s personable approach made me feel at ease, even when inviting him to our home. He did an amazing job explaining what we didn’t understand about the roof recommendations. When it came time for the roof replacement, I was blown away. They arrived early (likely due to weather considerations) and promptly began work at 6 am. By 9 am, they had completed the installation and left everything immaculate. Remarkably, our two nervous dogs and two young kids slept through it all!

My roofing experience with the Roof Detective was fantastic. I live in Medina, Ohio. Mike Mason made multiple trips to first help with the initial inspection and then to help finalize and organize the work through my insurance company.
