Putting a new roof on a building has the potential to be a stressful project for any homeowner or business. The best decision we ever made was going with Mike at CAP City Restoration.

We received multiple quotes for our roof and spoke with several companies in depth on the work required. It was clear for the start that Mike was the only one with the experience and knowledge to get the job done right. With a building over 100 years old, Mike's comprehensive proposal was extremely detailed on the intricate work that would need to be completed. On top of that, Mike's quote was very competitive, and in many cases, came in lower than the competition.

From start to finish, Mike was on site, personally working on the project. It is very clear that CAP City Restoration is a value based and driven business. As they say, "the proof is in the pudding" - and in this case, the proof is most definitely in the roof. Not all roofing companies are created equal, and we cannot recommend CAP City enough - please, give CAP City and Mike a call, you will not regret it.

Jamie is HANDS DOWN the most amazing roofer. The insurance company gave us a hell of a time trying to get our claim processed for a replacement but Jamie was diligent in his followup and jumped through all the hoops insurance gave give. In the end, the we got a brand new roof all thanks to Jamie. I cannot recommend him enough!!!!!

What more can I say about Cap City restoration and Jamie beyond all the great things that have already been shared? We reached out to Cap City after a hailstorm left our roof leaking in about a half a dozen spots; I had the pleasure of speaking with Jamie, their account manager, who came out to our house, assessed the damage, provided a detailed breakdown of the likely source of each leak, and thoroughly explained the insurance claim process. Of the eight or so companies I reached out to, Jamie was the one rep that I felt confident would be there to support us through the insurance coverage process and would ensure the work was done right. He was patient with all of our questions and was committed to making sure the roof would be repaired in a way that we were happy with.

Throughout the two or so months, when we were jumping through all of the insurance company’s hoops, Jamie was patient and responsive. He is an expert on navigating the insurance coverage process and his friendly demeanor (along with his deep knowledge of the industry) clearly went along way when communicating with our adjuster. When the claim was approved, and it came time to replace our roof, Jamie helped us pick shingles that would really complement our home, and explained all of the compliance upgrades that we would be receiving.

The contractors from Cap City were similarly experts in their work. They came out early in the morning and worked until late in the evening to get the job done. Most impressive was not only how efficiently they worked, but how they managed to keep our yard clean and debris free. Everything I had read about having your roof replaced suggested our yard would be littered with nails and broken shingles. While there were a few nails and shingles that were determined to sneak by, Cap City’s contractors did a phenomenal job collecting nearly every piece of debris. Honestly, it’s a pretty amazing feat when you consider the major undertaking of replacing your roof (removing hundreds if not thousands of old old nails and shingles only to replace them with hundreds of nails and shingles).

After all was said and done with the roof replacement, I saw two contractors remained on site going back and forth through the yard with a magnet, collecting any and all stragglers. The next morning, I was genuinely so amazed to find the yard was cleaner than it had been before the roof replacement.

When it became clear that my roof was having issues after a storm, my knowledgable neighbor recommended Cap City Restoration. As a first time home owner, the thought of roof problems is enough to keep you up at night. But upon meeting Jamie Hanlon, I was able to rest easy knowing I was going to be well taken care of. To say he is knowledgable is an understatement- he had an answer and experience for every questions, concern, roadblock. He worked with my insurance and made sure I received the full extent of my benefits, which is something I couldn't be more grateful for. He was highly communicative and it was easy to genuinely trust that he had my best interest in mind.

The replacement itself took 2 days, as there were further issues upon peeling back the shingles. The production manager, Austin, was wonderfully communicative as well. I noted some minor debris in my neighbor's gutters while the project was still in progress, and he made sure it was immediately taken care of. The crew worked relentlessly for those two days, until it was dark each day. They were respectful and hardworking, and did a great job cleaning up- more thoroughly than I even expected! I'm confident that any feedback I could have given otherwise would have been quickly addressed.

Overall, my experience with Jamie Hanlon and Cap City Restoration couldn't have been much better. I have some short-term and long-term exterior projects to address, and I am so glad that I now have such a wonderful contractor to help me with them. Highly recommend!!

Jamie came out and helped us get started very quickly after we contacted cap city, they got the job done quickly.

Their gutter crew left cigarettes nails and other trash all over our yard. Reached out to them and they sent someone else to come clean it up... didn't notice a difference- still nails and cigarettes all over right outside the front door. Yard is still littered with nails and cigarettes. Not going to reach out again, but pretty disgusting to leave someone's yard like that. Tried to give them a chance to fix it. All the stuff pictured is just some of the trash within about 5 feet of our front door...

For me the cigarettes are the worst of it, just shows a complete lack of respect or care because that's so intentional. Nails in that obvious and dangerous of places are also offensive, but you know exactly what you're doing if you throw your cigarettes right on someone's front porch- that's not just being messy.

Cap City installed a new roof (part rubber and part asphalt) and gutters. They were great in every way. Will was extremely clear on the pricing (which was very reasonable), warranty and what we could expect as the work progressed. Getting a new roof is never on anyone’s top “to do for fun” type list BUT if you have to get it done Zach and Cap City Restoration make the process so smooth and easy to understand! I can not speak highly enough of them. Zach was knowledgeable and fast in all of his responses and did everything he could to help us through the process.

We had an excellent experience working with their theam identifying issues or coming up with a estimate that was comprehensive and clear on the services and quality. While we didn't end up going forward with the masonry project at this time, I was impressed with their responsiveness and professionalism and will definitely keep them in mind for future projects.

Every step of my experience with Jamie and Cap City Restoration was professionally done and moved along like clockwork. Jamie was thorough in his description and demonstration of how the roof would be replaced and wood repaired if necessary, he described each point of the contract clearly as well as the warranty and standards of the shingle company they work with. Financing was well rated and easy to make application for. The day the roof was assigned for replacement the crew arrived as expected, their installation was efficient, skillfully done and everything cleaned up perfectly by the end of their work. All in all this was a good experience and now I have a great new roof.

Cap City Restorations were wonderful to work with after a windstorm this spring ripped through our neighborhood. Jamie, Matt and the entire team were always prompt/ responsive and kept me informed. He handled the working with the insurance company to get approval. Really loved the way they operate the installers did a fantastic job& Cleaned up afterwards. We had a leaky ceiling on Labor Day as it was actively raining and called around so many places without much luck because everywhere was closed. Cap City sent Jamie out to take a look and they were able to tarp it off the same day in the rain and give us a quote to fix the roof. The price was reasonable and the service was wonderful. We even had them come back out later to install a vent for our exhaust fan and plan to reach out to them for any future roofing needs. They go above and beyond and we fully recommend this company for your roofing needs!

We had a wonderful experience with Cap City Restoration! They were very quick in responding when we had 2 large trees fall on our roof. They arranged to have the trees removed quickly and a new roof installed shortly after. Jamie was so very kind and responsive to all of our needs.

We had some storm damage to our roof shingles. To select a roofing company, I went off a few references from people in the office. Cap City Restoration was one of the roofers I called. Jamie was out the next day which was impressive considering how much storm damage the local area had. It took the other guys a little longer to visit and they definitely did not seem as enthusiastic about getting my roof handled. Jamie pretty much walked me through the whole ordeal with my insurance company. The work was completed professionally as well, the crew was great, they cleaned up everything and even cleaned the gutters out.. I had one small problem (an abandoned vent not being removed) and Jamie had it handled the next day. I would highly recommend Cap City Restoration for any work they perform.

These days, it is a real pleasure to work with a company that cares this much about what they do. I am thrilled with the work done.

We had our siding, soffits, and gutters replaced by Cap City in October 2021 and we couldn't be happier with the service and work they provided. From initial design recommendations to the finished product, this company was professional and affordable, and provided quality workmanship. Even when a minor issue appeared ~8 months later, the team was responsive and immediately came to resolve the problem. Overall, we were very pleased with Cap City, and felt the manner in which they communicated and delivered service enhanced our trust and confidence that we were making this big investment with the right company.

I called Cap City Restoration after noticing a water stain and chipping paint on our ceiling. We knew the shingles were close to 15-years-old, and the previous replacement was shoddy at best. We went into this inspection with the expectation we'd be told a replacement was in order.

Jamie came out and walked the roof over, and yeah, water's getting in, but we could probably punt the replacement a year or two. Then I had him check out the attic, and the condition was way worse than we thought.

The house was built in 1940, and by the looks of it, the decking and rafters were original wood. There were holes and rotting all over. Some shingles from the previous replacement weren't nailed to anything beneath them. The connection between shingle and chimney wasn't flush. It's a surprise we didn't have visible leaking earlier.

Jamie gave an estimate with the variable cost of wood on top. Reasonably priced. We scheduled the replacement 3 weeks out. When the replacement time came, the crew salvaged as much wood from the original decking as possible. My wife and I are in our twenties, and Jamie having recognized that we're not made of money had the crew minimize cost as much as possible without cutting corners. The work was smooth, easy, and quick.

Look, no one's excited to spend this kind of money. But Cap City, Jamie, and their crew absolutely crushed it. We weren't upsold on anything we didn't need. We had a clear line of communication throughout the whole process. And all folks involved were kind, professional, and knowledgable. 100% recommend this company. They're awesome.

Our experience with Cap City Restoration was really great from the quick response to us finding a leak on Mother’s Day to answering my every text and phone call with genuine attention to detail. The crew that worked on our home was amazing and our project was completed in one day.

What I loved most about this company is that they focused on helping us fix our issue rather than selling us on product. I appreciated the conversation about the roof over the sales pitch I received from another company.

Cap City inspected my roof for wind damage and worked with my insurance company in alerting them to the extent of the damage and on my roof. This resulted in a very fair settlement with my insurance company. They arrived as scheduled, removed all the shingles on the roof and replaced them with a higher quality architectural shingle. The cleanup was thorough - I found no loose nails in my yard! All my dealings with them were professional and courteous and their genuine aim was to make sure I was pleased with their work. I highly recommend them.

I worked with Will to replace my roof. Originally I called to have Cap City look at a flashing issue but Will noticed the wind damage to the shingles and I was able to work with my insurance company for a replacement roof with Cap City. Will even made time to come out and speak with the insurance adjustor.

In terms of cost, the entirety of the repairs were covered by my insurance, but overall the cost seemed fair and on par with the internet’s average costs for roofing.

The team was easy to work with, and they were able schedule the roofing within 14 days to begin the repairs. I also had the chimney tucked and crown rebuilt. I have a smaller roof so they only took one day to do the full installation, including taking off the old shingles. The new shingles look well-placed (no bumps or weird overlaps) and they installed newer vents and gave my crummy-looking sewage pipe a crisp paint job. They let me know what to expect in advance (taking out an old venting fan, noise, and in what order repairs were done). I was super happy I went with Cap City Restoration.

Workers were on-time, professional and thorough and they came on the date promised. Will, the field supervisor, explained the work to be done and answered all my questions. The roofers laid tarps over my porch and garden that caught the debris and nails from the old roof so my yard was in great condition when the job was completed. We could not be happier with the new windows we had installed. They are just beautiful and so smooth to open and close, such a huge upgrade from the 35 year old windows! They did a great job replacing our roof. Extremely professional and responsive. Cap City Restoration replaced the roof and gutters on my home. In 20 years as a home owner I have never had such a positive experience with repairs! The price was lower than the competition but I have no doubt that the process and product are superior to any other company I had out for an estimate. The work was completed professionally, on time and with no suprises (other than the crew worked on the roof from 8am to 9:`15pm non-stop). The owner works as hard as his workers and even got up on the roof and completed some of the work while he was "checking-in" on the day of the install. The roof was done one day, the gutters another day. The gutters were up in less than three hours and look fantastic. I HIGHLY recommend this company.

Mike and John inspect what they expect throughout the whole process and took the worry out of the equation. The crew took their time and did not rush the installation and the result is definitely worth it. I have 2 dogs so I was worried that nails would be laying around but they crew tarped everything, sweeped all areas and ran a magnetic sweeper all around the house to pick up any loose nails.

A+ service. We needed a new roof for our detached garage/barn and got multiple estimates before making a decision. Mike came out the next day to provide my estimate, gave the best price and had great materials/warranties. Because of the low cost and great materials I was a bit skeptical but they did excellent work, used the materials they claimed and even fit us in before winter came. Can't thank them enough! This was a huge relief as we had a roof replaced on our last house and had Arrow Roofing do the work. I caught them making short cuts with materials, they ordered the wrong color and left us without gutters for 3 weeks in winter, used all our old roof vents and even caused a leak that ruined our bathroom ceiling. It was a huge hassle and I really appreciate Cap City for being honest and responsive. Thank you!

I had my old roof torn off and replaced also had new gutters and downspouts installed. Mike also pointed out that I needed to bring my roof up to code since it was so old by installing drip edge and ice guard which was good to know. My home needed repair to correct a huge exterior eye sore! Mike Lewis met with me to review the damages on the front of my home. He could easily see the mess and damages resulting from previous inferior work by other companies and handymen. I explained what I wanted for the area and I even had a photo.
