The roofing crew this company hired caused significant damage to my gutters and siding. They also left the roof with major bumps and gaps. Julie, with quality assurance, sent the same crew to fix the damage. They put nails in the roof causing leaks and then adding caulking as a permanent fix. It's been over a month trying to get them to fix the damage they caused. They are trying to have their own crews fix it even though they damaged it in the first place. Don't trust this company to do any work on your house.

The Crew: This is the MOST IMPRESSIVE roofing crew I have ever seen! They showed up at 6:45 in the morning. They stripped off 3 layers of shingles, replaced the wood underneath, replaced all of the vents and drip edge, installed the new shingles, and cleaned everything up by 10am! I've been needing to replace my roof since I bought this house 2 years ago. The inspector said it only had a year or two left before it would risk leaking. I was afraid of having to pay thousands of dollars that I didn't have. How lucky I was that Joel Hedgepeth with AmeriPro showed up when he did. He gave us a free inspection and estimate, then told us that he could get insurance to pay for the new roof. I've been paying for house insurance my entire adult life and never got any return out of it. Joel with AmeriPro made it happen. He made sure to find every sign of damage, document it, and show it to my insurance adjuster. After AmeriPro showed them my roof, they were able to get insurance to pay for the entire roof and still leave a couple thousand dollars that I got to keep. I got a new roof that I desperately needed, and money in my pocket.

The roof itself looks better than ever! We got to pick a new color shingle, which matches our house color better, they upgraded the shingle class for us for better wind and hail resistance, and they even added a new bathroom vent which our house did not have before since it was built before bathroom vents were a thing, and our shower steam was being vented into the attic instead of outside. The whole roof was replaced in less than a day, and the crew cleaned up all the nails, shingle gravel, everything. My front and back porch were actually cleaner after they were done than before they got here.

All in all, my roof is now replaced, it has a better color, is stronger than it was, now venting moisture outside properly, and I have money in my pocket that I did not before. Best deal I've ever gotten in my life, and better than I thought possible. If I could give Joel and AmeriPro more than 5 stars on here, I would in a heartbeat. Thank you, Joel! Thank you, AmeriPro!

Too many "surprises" with our roofing project. Initially, inferior work performed on the flashing around our chimney and posts. Took nearly 4 months for AmeriPro to finalize the roofing project. Contractors were used by AmeriPro to perform the job, and the contractors were neither efficient nor skilled. Inappropriate and/or harsh communications from the Overland Park AmeriPro office. Sales rep told me one thing, but did another. This is not a company I would trust in the future, nor recommend.

Ameripro does great quality work. The house has not had any more water leaks since the new roof has gone up. I was very nervous about filing an insurance claim due to my deductible and all the extra costs with getting a new roof, but I trusted our contractor Matthew after he explained his process and I’m glad I did. I was able to get a new roof, gutters with guards and due to the damage found to my siding that didn’t need fixed my deductible was covered. Without Matthew Jacob’s help I could not have afforded the roof replacement and would still be dealing with water leaks.

If anyone knocks on our door looking to make money and you’re not selling Girl Scout cookies we send you packing. After talking with Matthew about our roof we didn’t feel like he was there just to make a quick buck off us, but that he actually wanted to help us. After an inspection and some more discussion we decided to file a claim on the hailstorm that hit us recently and to my surprise Matthew got insurance to pay for a brand new roof and gutters. Replacing the roof was on our 'to do' list of house repairs but had been pushed down as far down as we could force it, since it always seemed so difficult and expensive. That was until Joel Hedgepeth entered the picture. Once we started working with him, it seemed not only possible but he made sure it was also affordable for us! The whole process was done quickly and professionally despite insurance not being very helpful. Joel helped make sure that things were done right, cost efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure that we were taken care of. He didn't pressure us to spend tons of money on things and was always upfront and honest with us. He does the math with you so the expenses are clearly explained and understood. My husband and I are very happy with the way the house looks now.

The Kansas office is the office we dealt with and I cannot give the same compliments others are giving in their review. Our sales contractor (I will not give his name) started off just fine but in the end we asked not to have him come to our home and pick up the money that was due. He needs to be retrained in communication/listening skills.
Concerning our insurance company I was the one who dealt with them. The sales contractor said it was best if we handled things.
AmeriPro only contacted the insurance company when they wanted extra money. The sales contractor actually caused issues with my insurance company. A lot of disagreements because of him.
My husband found the damage in the siding in the front and back of the house. The sales contractor was not concerned. When the roofing material was delivered the project manager came to inspect everything and was very professional but no one came and inspected the siding material when it was delivered. I was asked by the sales contractor to inspect the color and make sure things were correct. There were mistakes made because of this. The client should not be the one inspecting the delivered materials.
I will give AmeriPro credit in working with us in making things right.

Our advice would be if you use this company out of the Kansas location just be careful!

Leaffilter has fixed the gutter issues after the roofing, and I have paid them. Insurance covers that. What has not been finished is the full Install of the skylight, as promised in your bid. I can hire my carpenter to finish that install, but the cost was supposed to be covered in your bid. The roofer installed the skylight in the roof itself, though that was weeks after the roof had been done (because Ameripro had lost the skylight in shipping!) How much of my current Ameripro bill is supposed to cover skylight installation? Ho muchdo you expect me to cover myself?

Joel was very responsive, was on time, courteous and took care of all the details with the adjuster. Working with Ameripro and Joel easy and pleasurable.

The roofers damaged the ceiling in my kitchen and living room while replacing my roof. The company refuses to fix the problem and are demanding that I pay them in full or they will place a mechanic's lien on my home. I have had my roof replaced by other companies and have never encountered a problem.

It is estimated that it will cost me approximately $1,000 to fix the damage that they caused. Beware of this company!
