We had the opportunity to have Fidler On The Roof KC, repair our roof after a recent windstorm. What a GREAT experience! Andrew Fidler, of the Kirksville branch, has great knowledge of the business and is very professional. He was patient and listened to our needs and concerns. His customer service skills are refreshing. Andrew was aware rain was coming and wanted to get to the repairs right away. He came that evening and completed the job the same night. He took pictures from atop the roof so we could see the damages, as well as the repairs he made, and used the photos to explain what he had done. Fidler on the Roof KC was EXCELLENT. We contacted Andrew Fidler, from the Kirksville area branch of Fidler on the Roof KC, and could not be more pleased - something I never thought I'd say about getting a new roof! Andrew was thorough and professional, and was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. The roofing crew was also great - timely, respectful, clean, and got the entire job done over two long days. Our new roof looks so much better! Originally I had contacted 8 local roofers, several of whom came out to the house to take a look -- but only 2 of those were able to provide a written, organized and accurately itemized quote. Fidler was the lower of the two quotes and with a much quicker turn-around time (which was about 3 weeks in Sept 2024). Once the job started, Andrew monitored it closely and also sent us photos from the top of the roof as work progressed. The crew cleaned up our yard each night, too. Since our roof wasn't done via an insurance claim, we were watching the work and expense very closely and we really appreciated Andrew's attention to detail and follow-through. He even provided copies of items I requested beforehand and afterwards. Would hire Fidler on the Roof KC again and can highly recommend! Thanks Andrew & crew!!

Eric takes care of the little people as well as the big jobs. I told him we just had a small place on our roof that was damaged. He immediately sent KJ over to see what we needed. That evening someone came and replaced the shingles and checked and found one more shingle that needed to be replaced. Fidler on The Roof KC is AWESOME!!! Eric and Brian were there with us with our insurance rep and walked us through us all the options. They have a GREAT selection of products and are a VERY supportive local business for our community!!! They replaced our entire roof, guttering, and downspouts. This company is the best company I have EVER dealt with. Adam and his team are the very essence of professional. If I could label them as hero's, I would. I had a roof put on my house in November of 2023 by a disgraceful, awful, horrible company that tried to pass off used shingles as a brand-new roof. I knew something wasn't right and I reached out to Adam and his team for an independent review. He not only told me I was not crazy but also helped me with my insurance company and telling them what the original contractor did. Even though I told him up front I was locked into a contract and would not be using his team to make the needed repairs. He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to try and help me make the first contractor make this situation right for me and my family. Fast forward to June of 2024. I finally had the legal situation handled and was allowed to choose a new contractor to redo my roof. I had 4 different bids from other contractors and his companies was the most reasonable and fair, so I gave them a shot. The crew that showed up did their job in an extremely professional manner, they cleaned up their mess when they were done to where it looked like no one had ever been there. They treated me, my family and my property with respect the entire time they were completing the project, answering any questions I had along the way. This company stands behind their workmanship and they treat their customers like they would treat their family. They understand things happen in life and they are not overbearing or forceful trying to push you in one way or another to do something you don't want to do. They very much rebuilt my trust in the roofing profession, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This review is for 5 stars, but if I could give Fidler on the Roof 10 stars, I absolutely would. After recent storms, we discovered that we had a leak in our roof and had called around to a few roofing companies, but nobody was able to come out in a timely manner. We called Fidler on the Roof at the recommendation of a good friend and they were able to come out first thing the next morning without hesitation. When KJ arrived, she was incredibly professional, prompt, and transparent about the issues we were having. She did a full inspection, and even helped repair the leak in the roof at no cost, which was completely unexpected and I had to confirm with her multiple times that it was okay to get it taken care of today free of charge. I cannot thank KJ and the Fidler on the Roof team enough for enabling such professional and "customer for life" behavior. I can't see myself calling anybody else for future roofing needs and they have gained any and all future recommendations to friends and family looking for a reliable and trustworthy roofing company.

Fiddler on the Roof came , talked to us then the insurance . He got us a roof paid for by the insurance dues to hail damage . He sent a crew they totally stripped the roof , installed new shingles and was done in a day and a half . Had to finish up the second day due to rain before they were done !! They did an excellent job and not one a ran of shingle , paper or nails were ever dropped on the ground . They put all in a dump trailer ! They did an excellent job and I would Highly recommend them ! Great job Fiddler on The Roof !!

We had a roof leak and my wife arranged to have someone come and give us an estimate. I don’t know anything about roof repair but thankfully Guillermo showed up and quickly assessed the situation. I was concerned that it might be very costly. Guillermo explained that it was simply some sheeting that had come loose and needed to be pinned back down. I asked him how much and he told he that it would only take him a few minutes and he didn’t feel it was fair to charge me. I rarely take the time to write reviews but I just had to share my thoughts about Guillermo and his company. The next time I need any work done for my roof or if anyone asks for a recommendation, Guillermo is the only call I will make. He should be your first call as well.

My wife and I were planning to list our home for sale just after the New year, but when it rained in our garage Christmas Eve we were left scrambling to find someone to not only make a quick repair but to do it right.

Thanks to William and team at Fidler on The Roof KC we were able to our house on the market with minimal delay. They worked through sub-zero days and our crazy schedule. I happy to say because of their hard work our home is under contract.

I could not be more pleased with Fidler on the Roof! Three years ago we discovered water pouring onto our porch beneath our concrete tile roof. Eric Fidler was the one estimator who really told the truth about what had happened and what needed to be done to fix it. Squirrels had eaten through the lead flashing, leaving holes that water eventually poured through. The Fidler crew worked more than 10 hours in heat that exceeded 100 degrees. They fixed the leak and proactively fixed other problems before they occurred. Their inspection was first-rate. Now I contacted the company because a massive ice chunk crashed onto a lower roof, breaking two tiles. The broken tiles were correctly replaced and the roof inspected, showing that the previous work remains good as gold. This company really performs!

A completely superior experience from the first call. Everything was on time, on budget and exceeded our expectations on quality and final appearance. They will be our first call anytime we have a roofing need.

I was referred to Fidler on The Roof KC by someone I trust implicitly in all matters dealing with home construction, and I could not be more pleased with the company. Our roof began to leak during a heavy rainstorm, and we had no idea how or why. KJ was the person I dealt with, and she could not have been more helpful or professional. She and a crew member showed up, climbed onto the roof to evaluate the problem and recommended a few different options to solve it. Impressively, there was no sales pitch or pressure or biased presentation of the issues that would try to drive me toward a more expensive option to solve it. In fact, KJ recommended what she thought was the most appropriate solution, which happened to be the least expensive. They needed a few materials and a day that it wasn't 107 degrees, so came back the next day, did the work and said they wouldn't invoice me, but simply asked that if I was pleased with their work, they'd appreciate a Google review saying just that. I'm sure it was a simple task for them, but it would have been impossible for me to do, and the fact that KJ just said "it's on us" was incredible to me. I'm not suggesting, nor should anyone else expect, that Fidler on The Roof will do work for free, every time, but I am strongly suggesting that if you have a roof issue, this company is a class act that will treat you right, give you the straight scoop, and do good work for you. I have every confidence that, had they ended up charging me for the work, that it would have been as reasonable and as competive as I could have found. I was skeptical about buying a house with a wood roof. But our home inspector said it was of good quality and to call Fidler for the expert company to maintain it. Eric and Will were very knowledgeable and quickly replaced a few shakers. They will be out every year to maintain our roof and get as much life from it for years. I feel assured and completely confident about the roof performance. I feel the same about Fidler.

I can't say great enough things about them! We had some damage to our roof from a wind storm. I gave them a call and they came out that day to make sure our roof would remain leak free for the rain that was coming. Thankfully our damage wasn't significant so they were even able to repair the same day! Highly recommended!

Just had a great experience with Fidler on the Roof KC.
A few weeks ago, during the torrential rains, we had a leak in our family room. I remembered several people recommending Fidler. I texted Fidler and William came out late that afternoon in the middle of the storm and temporarily fixed our roof to keep the rain out.
He gave us a fair estimate and shortly after sent a crew to fix our roof. This crew worked long hours and cleaned up every day before they left.
He waited until today, until most of the leaves had fallen from the trees, to send out a crew to clean the leaves from our gutters!!!
They will check our roof and clean our gutters every fall.
Who does that? We are so impressed!!!

A terrible storm damaged 8 slate cement tiles on my grandmother's roof. During the time of the storm, my grandmother was on hospice and my family was trying to soak up the rest of the time we had left with her. We were so fortunate that William at Fidler on The Roof KC was so easy to work with. He went above and beyond for my family to repair the broken tiles. We were so lucky that once the roof was in the hands of Filder on The Roof, we didn't have to worry. Our family couldn't recommend them more!

I called these guys out to look at my roof because the ceiling was leaking in the kitchen and while Adam was here I explained another issue we were having. Well Adam got on the roof and fixed the 2 issues and told me they were easy fixes and did not charge me a thing.

Adam came out after promptly returning my phone call to look at a leak possibly from a vent on roof. He assessed the issue from possibly from recent snow that we had along with very strong winds with the storm. With no visible issue we decided to wait and see if issue arises again. He did not charge me for anything because no work was done. If an issue arises, I will call them back out to possibly go with a different style vent and go from there. He was very upfront and honest about the issue. I would have them back out for work with confidence that the job would be done correctly. I was very impressed and pleased with Adam, he represents how business should be conducted.

I called William 3 days before Christmas to look at possible shingle damage from a recent storm that included high winds. He said he would be in the area of my home the next day to get on my roof and take a look. Turned out, there were a few loose shingles that he repaired and then gave my roof a "clean bill of health". This was great news and unbelievable service that is really rare these days. I will be using them for all of my future roofing issues. I had an outstanding experience!

I call today, Andrew was at my house within the hour, looked at my damage, and said he would get right on it. It was 15 degrees today with 20 mph wind, freezing!!!! He finished up the job quickly, and then didnt even charge me! That is service I will never forget.

Andrew called one evening and made an appointment for 1:30 the next day. He arrived early, by my suggestion, and had the minor repair finished before 1:30! Fair, Honest, and Reliable! What more could we want? Guess who we are going to call when we need to replace the roof!

Many thanks to the Fidler on the Roof team--we have a concrete tile roof that had some broken tiles---they tracked down the exact tiles that were originally installed when the house was built 16 years ago. I love it when a company "walks their talk!" Fiddler on the Roof KC stands behind their mantra of not fiddling around. My issue was a birds nest (already vacated by babies) imbedded in a tile right over our open air porch where the family dines. We were constantly under fire from these birds. I called and left a voicemail which was promptly returned by Adam who assured me he would be out the next day, giving me a reasonable time window. Actually, it was William who came out, assured me the baby birds were gone and filled in the hole that was continuing to attract the bigger birds. These men were prompt, professional, and personable. I most highly recommend this company for any of your roofing needs.

Fidler on the Roof KC has replaced our roof, and as a second project, designed, fabricated and installed a gutter collection box. Both projects were priced below my own estimate for the work. Both projects were timely and flawlessly planned and executed. Both look great. I would include a photo of the collection box but it was so perfectly conceived and installed that it hardly shows up in a photo. Oversize gutters frequently do not adequately address water flow as it tends to build up in particular specific places in heavy downfalls, and a collection box is then a far better solution – but many in the business know little or nothing about them. You may want to consult Fidler about this. I want to call out Daniel Hawkins as a star performer – his knowledge and skill are most impressive. Perhaps the most important thing I can tell you is I have a small custom roof project at the planning stages, and Fidler on the Roof KC will be the contractor.

Very great customer service, they always returned calls and had a fair price. They managed to locate and remedy a difficult water leak in my roof and siding.

I had a great experience with Fidler, even though I didn't actually hire Fidler on the Roof to do any work at my home: The home inspection for our newly purchased house said that our roof needed to be repaired or replaced. Chip came out to have a look and said that actually, it just needed caulk around the flue, and that the roof still had 10 or more years of life to it. I was incredibly grateful that he was honest with us about the life of the roof (instead of trying to sell us a new one), and he even went above and beyond by caulking around the flue at no charge (another company had quoted us over $300 to replace the area around the flue). When we do need to have repairs or replacement done, I will definitely be calling Fidler on the Roof!

William with Fidler on the Roof was awesome. He came out, identified the leak and resolved it quickly. He was so much more professional than other roofing companies I have dealt with in the past. Way less expensive than I was expecting, too. I will definitely contact them in the future for all my roofing needs.

I could not be happier with the service I received from Fidler on the Roof. They were pleasant when I called and worked with me to come look at a repair at my earliest convenience. Chip Ellison showed up on time and looked at the issue. He let me know it was a minor issue and showed me how I could fix it myself if I wanted. He did not charge me for the service call or try to up sell me in any regard. He answered all of my questions and was incredibly helpful. Daniel was doing work near my house. My mother saw him and asked about getting a bid on a leak at her own house. Daniel was not only more than willing to help, but also spent several minutes entertaining my construction-loving 4 year old son. Chip called
later the same day to schedule a time to go to my mother's house the very next day. Upon arrival, Chip quickly pointed out a large sagging area on one side of the house, then inspected the roof and gutters for damage. He went above and beyond by clearing out an area of the gutters to remove a blockage and going into the attic to identify the cause of the sagging area of the roof. Chip then showed us pictures of what he saw and very gently told us of the significant repair job that is needed. Chip was knowledgeable, compassionate and very friendly throughout the visit - we DEFINITELY plan on having this company complete the repairs and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a roofer!

We have had a leaking issue in the same area at least twice within 2 year. We have had different roofing companies came out and try to locate the leaking area and did the repair they think the leak occured without much success . Some even suggest a new roof with the estimate bids as well. Through referrals and online reviews, we got a hold of Eric and Chip from Fidler on The Roof KC . They came right out the very next day, did a thorough inspection, removed our tiles, cleared all the debris . We still skeptical...The next day and a couple more after, hard driven rains came and go, we are DRY. No need new roof, just do the maintenance program according to Eric. The fact that they identified the leaking area and prompt response won us over. Thank you Eric and Chip!

Fidler on the Roof - responsive, courteous, helpful. Called them to look at a small leak which was identified as a problem with the guttering. They gave me immediate help, showed up on time (early), reviewed the problem and recommended a service with a guttering company. Very high marks in customer service as I had called 2 companies before that had never showed up. Bill Jurado took his time to explain in detail the problem and assured me that he would make the contact for me to the guttering company and he would explain to them what needed to be done. He was extremely courteous and helpful. A lot of companies could learn from Fidler on the Roof.

Eric was constantly in contact with us for updates and made sure we understood all steps of the process. Eric was awesome.
I had a pretty major leak in the roof and was expecting some terrible news.
When he arrived (early which was awesome)
He got on the roof and when he came down about 20 minutes later he said it was a minor issue and he already fixed it.
Being a home owner that has dealt with “less than straight forward” contractors in the past, I was ready for a “surprise” bill.
Instead when I took out my card to pay him, he said, no charge for today, just make sure you tell people about us, and if you have any other issues, make sure you call us.
This is exactly the kind of integrity that used to make the trades amazing, but is so difficult to find.
I saved his contact in my phone so I can easily pass it out to anyone in need.
