I used Jenkins Restorations, for water damage in my home. I dealt with Daylan Woods he was very professional and communicated with me throughout the process. I would highly recommend Jenkins Restorations to anyone because they provide an outstanding service.

I used Jenkins to repair damage to my deck caused by a severe storm and they did a great job. Dylan Woods, Jose and his crew were top notch. The work they did was excellent, and they were quick, efficient, and always professional and polite.

Jose helped with me the clean up/remediation of an overflowing bathtub. He was very responsive, kept me in the loop, and answered every question I had through the process. Highly recommend!

I can’t get anyone at Jenkins to communicate with me after a supervisor came out the other day and promised he would get my job finished by Christmas. I had a burst pipe on August 15th and contacted Jenkins through my insurance. Their work is supposed to be guaranteed. In early September I signed a contact with Jenkins and told the project manager that I just needed the job done by Thanksgiving. Unbelievably, that didn’t happen and my family had to completely change plans. Now here we are 5 days before Christmas and my downstairs floors are torn out and there are giant stacks of boxed floor panels sitting in my family room. I was assured the job would wrap up Saturday but can’t get anyone to talk to me. I am supposed to host Christmas for family in a few days but I haven’t even been able to put up my tree. In addition, I’ve had to report that workers have left my house with my heat on blast, left lights on all over house, and have thrown their trash on my back patio.

I took a look at Jenkins’ website earlier and see they are supposedly a Christian company with Christian values, but don’t believe it. I’ve had two different people lie, stall, make excuses, and give me nothing but lip service. I am lost as to what to do and devastated for my family bc now we have no place for Christmas after already having paid for all this catered food.

The guy who told me he wouldn’t drop the ball has cut me off so I have no point of contact in the company. As a homeowner for over 30 years ai have dealt with plenty of contractors, and have never had these types of problems before. I am stuck in a nightmare and don’t know what to do or who to talk to in order to get this situation resolved.

I would not recommend this company at all, and don’t be fooled into thinking they have Christian values because they are far from it.
UPDATE: They still aren’t done Christmas Eve 2024. Never even got to put a tree up.
UPDATE: April 5th, 2025 they still are not done. DO NOT let your insurance company or anyone else talk you into using them. I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional, incompetent company as Jenkins before. My insurance company can’t even get them to come in and finish.

Dylan Woods was very eager to provide the best service I've had for a long time. Jose and his crew were amazing and the attention to detail was superb. The result was worth the wait.

When I had a roof leak and water damage inside my home, my insurance company gave me a list of contractors in my area. Jenkins Restorations was at the top of the list. I was contacted by Daniel. A representative came to the house right away and immediately accessed the damaged and started the mitigation process. These guys were very professional and explained what they were doing and the equipment that was going to help out with the drying process. They was prompt and before they left for the day they asked if I needed help with any furniture to be moved back or moved to another location. Thank God for Ron, Donovan, Jose and Anthony. This company was recommended by my homeowner's insurance after a burst pipe caused water damage on the first floor of my home. There were multiple no call no shows while they were repairing the damages, which was extremely frustrating as I had to take off work each day that they were expected to show up. There was also no follow up after the last bit of work was completed. I never actually received anything along the lines of a "We're all done" from anyone and instead just had my calls/texts to the project manager left unanswered. This was a problem as the work done was quite shoddy. A door that needed to be replaced was reattached as a warped item that doesn't properly latch and close. There was also insulation underneath the floor that was not replaced, damage to my washer/dryer from how they were moved, and difficulties with how the floor was repaired. In fact, the subcontractors that replaced the actual floor brought this up stating that some of the wood was still warped and would need additional nails in visible areas of the flooring. Overall, the work done was shoddy at best and the customer service was abysmal. The relationship that this company had with my insurer at the time Homesite was the singular reason that I decided to change my homeowner's insurer to something more reliable.

I was very impressed with Jenkins restoration,I had serious water damage that ruined my entire apt from a careless neighbor,being irresponsible,Jenkins saved as much of my possession as they could.Financially I wasn't prepared to handled this situation, and they where kind enough to set up a payment plan with me,which I truly appreciate. Their workers where amazing, non of my items where broke, and they where very respectful,and handled my belongings delicately. They worked as a team and definitely did an outstanding job,transferring items from one apartment to the next,JOB VERY WELL DONE.

We used Jenkins Restorations for a water leak in our crawl space, and they were friendly, professional and very courteous! They did the job right the first time and took care of the issue right away! I hope I never have to use their services again, but if I do, I know who to call!

I experienced a fire to my house in August 2020. I signed a contract with Jenkins Restoration soon after the fire. Since the beginning, I have been impressed with the progress on the house and the professionalism of all contractors that I have spoken to. The quality of the work is impressive and I continue to be appreciative of the work they are doing. Thank you Richmond team for your constant efforts to make my house whole again. I HIGHLY recommend Jenkins! There are some small issues that have occurred (quality of items, water, etc.)

Sadly, I had to endure months of unfinished work as the company apparently had issues and went through at least three project managers. They stated the first floor carpet got cleaned; however, it doesn’t look any better than it did. They were to match one new bathroom vanity to the original. What was delivered and installed was close, but didn’t even have knobs or handles. I had used them before for some other work; but, will not be calling them again.

So far so good. I'll update once the work is done. They've thus far provided information to my insurance for hail damage.

I had a water pipe burst in my house in August. I signed a contract Jenkins in October. As of March 25 (when I stopped letting anyone in my house due to Covid-19) they still weren't done with the work. For the first few months I had to email and call repeatedly to get insulation replaced under my house. The rest of the work is very unsatisfactory. I wish I still had my old water damaged wooden floors instead of what they allowed to be put in my house.

it took well over four months to finish a job i was promised would only take a few weeks. my bath tub and surrounding wall are two different colors, left BAGS of trash in my yard for months, as wells as nails painted over instead of pulled out filled and sanded. while the people that worked on the bathroom were all very kind and understood my anger, it did not make up the months i went with no shower. i had many family as well as other contractors come by and look at the job throughout them being finished and were puzzled why things where being done the way they were. needless to say i called my insurance and told them i know longer wanted them in my home. i’d rather do a job myself then waste months wondering how and when something will be done or if it’s gonna be done correct.

Bryan Lynch has been our project manager on our home restoration project since an uprooted tree gravely damaged it six months ago. Bryan assembled an outstanding group of contractors who have performed excellently in restoring the many parts of the house that were damaged. And Bryan has worked tirelessly with our insurance company to see that we received exactly what.we needed to restore the house to its condition prior to the tree damage. Bryan is professional and, most importantly, very personable - a trait necessary because of the many interactions we must have over the course of many months addressing this major restoration project. The week before Thanksgiving our water heater broke and flooded our finished basement. Our insurance company moved quickly and sent in a company to take care of the water and work with us to fix the damage. Two months and three holidays later, we ended up having to fire this company because they were blatantly trying to cheat our insurance company (and us) out of a couple thousand dollars. We reached back out to our insurance company and they assigned Jenkins Restoration to our case (more specifically, Bryan Lynch). Their water mitigation team showed up and immediately noticed issues the first company didn’t. They promptly took care of that, performed their assessment of how much it was going to cost to do the work we needed, and had the entire project complete within 3 weeks!!! Bryan Lynch was so attentive, and truly went above and beyond to ensure each job was completed perfectly so our family could begin using our space again! We couldn’t be happier with our brand new basement floors and highly recommend Bryan Lynch and Jenkins to everyone!!

We contacted Bryan Lynch at Jenkins Restoration to estimate the water damage in our attic which was caused by our heat pump. Bryan met with us within 24 hours of our initial contact with him and he worked with us throughout our project. He not only coordinated the different trades who worked on our project but also checked on things personally to be sure they were being handled correctly! We hope we won't ever need their services again, but if we do, we will definitely use Bryan Lynch and Jenkins Restoration again! Thank you!! :-)

He worked flawlessly with our insurance. We were able to fix our roof so that the repair work was protected. I cannot say enough about the courtesy and skill of the workers. My kitchen, floor and wall repairs were done to my complete satisfaction. Bryan made sure we were completely satisfied with the work. He went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we needed. He was available to talk to through the whole process and guided us. I'm thankful to have had this company to help us through a trying situation. They made the process bearable and gir us to the finish line right on time!

Use Jenkins Restoration Richmond, VA with extreme caution and plenty of time in your schedule for delays and lack of communication.
It took 9 months to complete the repair work. It was a small hole in the roof and damage to the gutter and siding from a tree falling. We had with 3 project managers and the work was not done correctly but in order to fix it we were going to have to wait a number of months again. The roof was patched about a month after the damage at our urging because water started leaking through a window frame after rain and snowfall (yes, they left the hole open for a month). Then another month and the roof was done (While we were thankful they finally fixed the roof we are still finding roofing trash around the yard and nails in the driveway.) but no gutter and no siding work. The contractors for the siding (Coastal Contracting) could not manage to match the siding and get the work done without us calling and complaining multiple times and Jenkins would not follow up with them. The gutter was not done until the end after a very rainy summer and this being the main entry to our home. We again had to make multiple calls and complaints to get the gutter installed.
On top of the length of time this project took we repeatedly made the request to know when workers would show up at our house. This was not honored therefore there were times I had to send workers away because they showed up at inappropriate times.
