After experiencing a house fire, we were completely overwhelmed and unsure where to even begin! Jenkins Restoration immediately stepped in and guided us through every step of the process. We initially met with Brian, who quickly began issuing estimates to our insurance company. He, along with Brad, made us feel at ease with his compassionate and honest work. Jake, the project manager, was always accessible and kept us updated on the progress of repairs and upgrades with professionalism and promptness. Kara coordinated the contents portion of the project. She was responsible for reporting damaged/unsalvageable items to the insurance company for replacement, making sure all items were carefully catalogued, and the salvageable items were cleaned and returned back to us. She stepped up and completed this huge job on time and without any issue.
We are incredibly grateful for Jenkins Restoration. They handled smoke clean up, contents restoration, and interior renovation and provided reliable, compassionate service from start to finish. I've never used this company but gonna let the public know they are scam artist they have received 18000 for a days work for a friend's insurance company and the damage that was done by a leak she has chose to use her normal contractors and her insurance company's says 10000 should cover it so hold the train Jennings gets 18000 to pull our floors and put a machine 2 days of work but a months worth of work 10gs should cover that these company's are in bed with our insurance company's and need to be stoped

They contract out work and never get work done. They hire kids and Kristinas with no experience as "project managers " who have no idea about construction or codes. I am having to replace all of the repairs they made to my home.

Amazing work with Jenkins restoration. Project manager - James made sure I was aware of when the teams were coming to the house and worked with my schedule even with the winter store to make sure everything was done in a reasonable time frame. The demo team - Tyler and Von made sure I was aware every step of the way with getting the flooring and ceiling damage removed and protected. Restoration team - Danny and Dave did amazing with fixing the ceiling and installing the new flooring of the bathroom. Everything looks brand new for my family!

I’ve needed Jenkins Restoration twice this year and they’ve really come through. I can’t say enough about the services they provided. I had a water leak above the ceiling of my garage on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I called Jenkins based on their previous excellent service and Chris responded to my home promptly. He opened the ceiling, removed the wet material, found the leak, fixed the pipe and restored water to my family within hours. Vance, the restoration manager was responsive and caring as he worked around my schedule to restore our home. Jenkins and their people exhibited care and dedication to serving my family and solving our problems.

The repairs to my house after a leak inside the walls could not have been accomplished with more skill and attention to detail. I'm usually pretty picky so had a list of things to check, but everything had been done without my even mentioning. Vance V. was a wonderful PM ... always available to answer questions and walked me gently through the entire "put back" process! Very happy to have called Jenkins.

After having a house fire and needing a complete gut and rebuild over the course of 9 months, Jenkins Restorations has been great to work with. They always had my best interest in mind and made sure I always understood the process. It’s important to know when dealing with insurance claims that there is a lot of money (depreciation) held back until the job is complete. The held back funds never stopped Jenkins from continuously progressing on our project. Brian, Jesse, and Chuck were all great to work with and were very communicative throughout the whole process. There are a lot of choices when you go through something like this and I highly recommend this company to help you get the job done.

Jenkins Restorations remodeled our home after a pipe burst. Our entire downstairs and upstairs had to be renovated. Mark, Zach, and their crew did a phenomenal job! When my flooring was ruined due to a water leak in my kitchen, my insurance company suggested Jenkins Restorations in Chesapeake. I had used them in the past at my previous home for a roof replacement and had a great experience with them, so I knew I would be happy working with them again. Everyone, from the start of the process to the end, was amazing! I received immediate phone calls from the water mitigation team and the project manager to get my information so they could start their jobs. The water mitigation team came out immediately to start their process, and they were so informative and friendly. The project manager, James, came out a few days later to inspect my home for repairs. Unfortunately, my entire home had to have the flooring replaced. James made sure I remained informed on what was happening and even called past normal working hours to make sure myself and my husband were updated on the work. We had to move out of our home for the work to be completed, and James helped to keep us on schedule and back in our home within a reasonable amount of time. Any issues I found and brought to his attention, he made sure to address them ASAP. I couldn’t ask for a better experience with Jenkins Restoration; it was amazing.

Today, 2/15/24, Tyler and MJ, came to our house to do water mitigation. They were polite and respectful to us and to our home. They were thorough in their investigation of potential areas of water leakage. Unfortunately they found more wet areas than my husband and I anticipated but we are thankful for their assessment. They implemented a dry out plan with plans to follow up in the morning. They were great.

2/16/24. Heather stopped by to check moisture levels. She was efficient and respectful of our home and us. She was informative and answered sny questions. She was able to remove some of the fans but not all. I thank her for reconnecting my dryer.

Had an amazing experience with Steve and his team on our water damage in our kitchen and front room. They were all fast to act in getting materials and aranging days and times that worked around our busy schedules to get the work done. Gene and Chuck worked together to fix the plaster and painting and all the wood work and cabinets in the two rooms! We are so very pleased with the quality of the work that they provided for us, and will always be our go too for any future work needed in our house. It was krazy how we met on "accident" but the work they all did and finished makes us smile everytime we walk into the house and see the beautiful work they did. Jenkins Restoration has been absolutely amazing so far. My son accidentally flooded my house, by leaving a reptile of mine in a running bathtub. (Yes, the reptile is fine). Unfortunately, this resulted in my master bathroom, master bedroom, hallway, and adjacent bedroom upstairs becoming saturated. I had water pouring from my ceiling in my living room, my reptile room, and into the walls and flooring in both rooms.

My insurance company recommended a couple of moisture mitigation and recovery companies, we selected Jenkins Restoration. Tyler was absolute phenomenal in his response time and communication. He kept me updated, and even explained the demolition process as it was taking place. He never over promised but certainly delivered above and beyond! Tyler, DJ and Heather were super clean, super professional, and incredibly friendly. They were even kind enough to explain things to my son, who kept apologizing for the whole fiasco.

When it came time to start packing out and moving things, Omar and his crew were also fantastic. He had 3 crew come out to pack out the necessary rooms, and help me relocate my reptiles out of the flooded room. The staff was friendly, professional, and I cannot say enough amazing things about a crew of individuals who have a phobia of reptiles, being willing to help relocate over 60 snakes!!!

I am excited to get moving forward on the next step of this process once the insurance finishes the quote. I highly recommend this company and their staff!

We had a water valve to break underneath our house with floor damage due to the water. We called our insurance company they sent out Jenkins restoration. I just shared a review about the awesome service we're getting so far from the folks at Jenkins. We just met Christopher (don't know last name off the top of my head) but he's keeping up the tradition of great service and compassion... and answering the hundreds of questions we have!
Just wanted to make sure he got some props as well!

We are just beginning our experience with Jenkins in Chesapeake. Thursday night we came home to discover our kitchen and pantry flooring seeping water. We called our insurance who sent out Jenkins. D.J. was the first person I spoke to and he let me know he was cancelling a job and coming over within the hour with his equipment due to it being an emergency. He came initially and later another technician (I think her name is Val) came to help. They were extremely thorough and very personable and answered every question we threw at them. By the time they set up the equipment it was pretty late in the evening so I know they had a long day. Today (Friday), D.J. came back with Tyler and Heather and they were able to reasonably determine the source was coming from our neighbor's side. Again, all were extremely polite and empathetic and answered all questions. Tyler even came back and brought us some boxes and tape to pack things in! From a customer perspective in a stressful situation, their initial contact with us and "we got this" attitude goes a long way to minimizing our stress and builds our confidence the job will get done and done right. The positivity and awesome work ethic are appreciated, even this early in the process.

My washer failed on the second floor of my home. James Farris and his team at Jenkins Restoration made my kitchen and the other rooms damaged in my home look better than before. I can't say enough about the quality and customer service. If I ever need repairs in the future, I will go to Jenkins every time.

Chris and his water mitigation team (Brandon, DJ, Heather and Tyler) took care of everything in a timely, professional and awesome manner. From the first call they got they were onsite with 3 hours! Chris even came out on Sunday to deal with an emergency issue that came up. Unfortunately, the day after my issue was dried out I had another separate water issue and they showed up within a few hours to start the drying process for my new area. Zach the claims estimator and PM has also been awesome to work with. Highly recommend Jenkins Restoration of Chesapeake.

I called to see if I could get help and within 30 minutes Tyler and Heather showed up to get to the bottom of it. They were professional, courteous and I look forward to having Jenkins come back out. The BEST company I’ve ever had in my home. My hot water heater busted and went through 2 stories of my home. JR was at my house within 3 hours of the incident and worked late days at my house for a few days straight. The communication of this company is unmatched. I never felt uncomfortable with them being in my home, even when I wasn’t there myself. DJ and Heather were my primary technicians and were very helpful in everything happening. They told me when they were 30 minutes away, when they showed up to my house & would walk me through the process of what was happening whether it was face to face or via the phone. I highly recommend JR coming to your home for any needs they cover. Great people and company!

After finding a water leak hidden in the base of a cabinet, Tyler, Heather, and Devonte have been working to save my flooring. They have been prompt and professional throughout the entire process. Hopeful that I won't need them again, but grateful that they are available.

I used Jenkins Restorations twice within a 3 month span due to water damage to my home. Both times, they were very professional, prompt & did a great job. James was very responsive and professional through both processes.

Unfortunately I cannot provide a review of your work or an actual service date because no one had the common courtesy to return my calls after 2 attempts to get someone to respond and schedule an appointment. I initially called to request a estimate and was told someone would reach out in 24 - 48 hours. After a week no one returned my call so I called back to follow up. The woman who answered confirmed my information was in the system and was surprised I hadn't heard from anyone. She attempted to reach out to the project manager while I was on the phone and assured me he would call back. Today is October 24th, another week has gone by, and this company has proven to me they clearly don't need or want my business because I have yet to receive a call. At this point it would be a waste of my time to try and rectify this because I have zero confidence in their project manager's ability to manage an extensive restoration project when he is not organized or professional enough to return a simple phone call. I would like to also say on a positive note that the woman who answered the phone was very nice, very apologetic and I got the impression she wanted to be helpful so I would attribute the 1 rating solely to her. Truly unfortunate that she has to work with people who fall short in their ability to provide basic levels of customer service which does nothing but force her to deal with frustrated customers.

The second flood in my home gave me the impression that it would be impossible to fix again. My insurance carrier suggested Jenkins Restoration and John Clodfelter served as my project manager. They came out immediately, relieving our anxiety and assuring us everything would be okay. He was very professional, talked us through the procedure, and worked with Brandon and Heather to get things underway. The first person on the scene was Brandon, who was with Heather. They answered all of our concerns and gave us the go-ahead to contact them whenever we needed to, day or night. It was impressive how quickly they got to work and seemed to be working nonstop. Servepro previously handled our initial flood problem, but these folks were able to thoroughly resolve the issue swiftly. Brandon and Heather were very descriptive about the job and followed up on it until it was finished. Every issue, both visible and invisible, was addressed. There is no doubt that I will use Devante, Tyler, and Christopher again if a situation similar to this one arises in the future. They made the process go by smoothly and quickly as well. Honestly, I value the job they produce at the end of the day. I really believe that Jenkins Restoration requires more outstanding advertising and commendation for their unquestionably excellent job. I want to thank my insurance provider, Usaa, for introducing them to us. Clearly, more than five stars are needed. Jenkins will be used moving forward.

My insurance adjuster assigned Jenkins Restoration mitigation when I experienced my first slab leak. That said, this is my second slab leak and without fail I called for them to come out and do what they do best, "mitigate." I've used Jenkins mitigation team Christopher and Tyler (for both slab leaks) and DJ (second slab leak). Words cannot express my appreciation and gratitude for their caring, professionalism and attention to detail when ensuring the water damage was quickly seized, dried, cleaned and treated. Every day without fail someone stopped in to check equipment to ensure the areas were drying properly. I was kept abreast of all work which was being done in my home and, they went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the work that was completed each time. I only regret that this review was not submitted during my first encounter with this "STELLAR" mitigation team. Greg Scoles, project manager, did a very good, thorough job helping with my restoration needs. My house had a water disaster. After water mitigation was completed, Greg came to my house and set up everything from repairs to replacement. He does a great job organizing and planning for the work to be done. Update: The restoration portion of our job took a little longer than I had expected, but was well worth the wait. John C was our Restoration Project Manager, and he was very patient with all of our questions and made sure they were answered to our satisfaction. The sub-contractor that he works with was incredible, the work they did is now the best part of our home!

This was the second time using this company. Tyler and Josh came out asap. They were very nice and answered all my questions, even the ones I had already asked before. They were great dealing with the chaos of my house hold. Tyler stayed in touch and made sure we were taken care of.

I chose Jenkins because my son used them and recommended. They were polite, professional and knowledgeable. Christopher Page was a wealth of information and eased my overall stress level. He was punctual, responsive, professional yet friendly. Heather Hawkins served me well also. I did not meet her in person, but she communicated with me several times to update the status of the job. Both Chris and Heather seemed to care about their clients. Added bonus- the team put back as much furniture as was appropriate to lessen my inconvenience while I go through the next phase of this issue.

My insurance company recommended Jenkins due to having 3 waters pipes bust . They have been nothing but helpful, knowledgeable and the clean up and just overall process was very smooth . I chose Jenkins Restorations after interviewing several companies to repair damage to my house following a tree falling on the roof. I was extremely happy with my choice and found Jenkins a pleasure to work with. Steve Walters (Project Manager) managed all the moving parts involving roofers, plasterers, painters and coordinated the timing for the gutter installations. Everything was done to a very high standard but more importantly, Steve Walters and Jenkins took the worry and stress of all the works off me. In the time between when I hired them to the completion of all repairs, communication was key. Steve always kept me informed as to what was going to happen next and when that would happen. The interior painting/plastering was done by Jesse Matthews and is flawless. I highly recommend Jenkins and will definitely work with them again.

I recently had a sewer line back-up which flooded my main floor and basement. USAA recommended we use Jenkins Restoration to mitigate the water damage. The adjuster called Jenkins and within minutes Tony from the Chesapeake office called and arrived with a team within 45 minutes. I have to specifically mention Tony, Dylan, and Curtis. They were professional, courteous, and responsive to our needs. They ensured the water damaged floors, walls and ceilings were removed before causing further damage. They then set up fans to finish drying out our home. Tony called and came to our home everyday until the fans were removed.

Having water damage my hardwood floors was devastating. The kind professionalism of Dylan Lewis, Christopher Page, and Tony made it more bearable. They knew what they were doing and did the job well. Jenkins was a great company to work with right from the start. I contacted them for an estimate after noticing a water problem and received a phone call back within minutes. Chris came to the house to check the damage himself and called to update on some concerns that they found. Dylan, Tony and Christopher Page set up and checked on the equipment throughout the drying process. They were very patient with my many questions and always provided real answers with the details that I needed to stay sane. John Clodfelter was our claims project manager. He also was extremely patient and professional with my questions and provided great information and details. We were overall extremely pleased with our experience with Jenkins. I can’t explain how happy I am with the results from my kitchen reconstruction and home mitigation. Communication was clear every step of the way and my things/valuables were handled with care. In the middle of a large remodel project we were hit with a small patch of old, dry, inactive mold. Will, our project manager, came to our house sooo quickly & provided a detailed estimate to us SUPER FAST to help keep our remodel project on schedule. Technicians Tony & Jason arrived the next morning & quickly ripped up flooring, cleaned, set up all the necessary room dividers & fans for the weekend clean up. Everything was promplty cleaned up & complete in the matter of only a few days! What could've been a nightmare situation turned into the most delightful mold remediation experience possible.
