The Bone Dry Roofing crew did a fantastic job on our roof and kept me in the loop the whole time. The roof is simple but some chimney flashing and a shallow back porch added a bit of complexity to the project. I appreciated how well they cleaned up the area after completing the work, it looked great and I haven't found hardly a trace they were here. I would certainly recommend Bone Dry Roofing if your needing a new roof or repairs.

We needed a replacement of our roof ridge vent, and opted to also get gutter guards while they were here. A thorough inspection pointed out some additional issues that needed addressing. Super nice people to deal with. They were patient as we took about 5 months to decide if we wanted to move forward and with which option. Eventually we figured out it was best to do full replacement with some added down spouts. Once we signed they were on the job in about 10 days. It took 1.25 days to finish and they even took down our old cable dish from the roof without extra charge. Our new gutters look amazing!! And now we won't have overflow problems during big storms!! Purchased a house last summer and through the inspection process it was discovered that there was significant damage to the tile roof. The seller wanted to get it fixed vs replacing and hired a different contractor. Upon inspecting the roof that contractor said it could not be fixed because there was too much damage and needed to be replaced. He then hired Bone Dry who said it could be fixed. I had a lengthy call with the installer questioning if it could be repaired given the other contractor said it was too damaged to be fixed or if he should also tell the seller it should be replaced. He reiterated it could be fixed for less than the cost of a new roof. He had me order the tiles he said were needed for the repair which had to be special ordered from a company in Utah for which we ordered significant extras to ensure there would be enough. They blew through those tiles very quickly and asked that I order more. I again ordered significant extras so that we would be safe and again they blew through those and had to order more. This happened yet again with me ordering significant amounts of extra tiles. They finally got the roof repair complete at a cost that was greater than it would have been to install a completely new roof. They may be good for traditional roof repairs or new roofs but I would not recommend them for repairing tile roofs.

My house in Loveland took hail damage and had Bone Dry Roofing give me a quote, and do the work. They did a great job, communication was good and I liked the way the job turned out. Its never a fun process to work on hail damage between insurance, mortgage companies and the roofing company. Bone Dry made there part a breeze. I am looking forward to working with them again on my next roof (hopefully in 20 years).

I was so happy with the job the Bone Dry did on our house. We have a metal roof but had some issues from the original install and some poor water mitigation so that is why we contacted Bone Dry. We chose them based on their Google reviews.
At the consultation/inspection they videotaped with commentary so I could see what they noticed as well as an explanation of their concerns (some big, some small). They watched the video with me and provided any extra information I needed. I really appreciated that extra touch to make sure I understood everything.
The quoting process was clear and broken up by major issues, minor issues, and some more aesthetic things so I could pick what I wanted done.
The people that did the actual roofing work were very nice and cleaned up everything when done.
Lastly, billing was clear and easy to pay.
I highly recommend.

I sought out Bonedry after a hailstorm damaged my roof and gutters. They did a good job on the roof, and I was only able to find a couple of caulking issues, which if not addressed would have caused problems in the future. No big deal. Okay, other than that, the roof looks good, so why the two-star review? Well, that's where the long story comes in, and I guess I'll start from the beginning and provide pictures for you.

Bonedry arrived at my house at around 7:45 a.m. on September 26th to start tearing off my old roof and putting on the new one. At first, I saw them laying tarps on the front and the back of my property and positioning roofing sheathing up against my garage door for protection. This gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, and I have to say, it felt good... until 9:33 a.m. hit, and I caught them on my Ring camera hammering off some of the old gutter brackets because I guess grabbing a drill and unscrewing them might have taken an extra 27 seconds that they just did not have. The result of this was chunks taken off of my fascia, including a 2" diameter chunk. All throughout the fascia, you can see gashes and gutter screws that were left there after the old gutters and brackets were ripped off. They also damaged a fascia metal bracket by lifting the gutters upward, as they were taking them down from the roof. This is part of what caused all this damage. They did not want to take the gutters down from ladders. While putting on my roof, they spilled tar everywhere, from my foundation and beautiful mountain granite rock in my backyard, to my driveway. They layed down tarps to help prevent this, but only on part of the front and part of the back of the property. They did not lay the tarps in areas that they should have which would have prevented tar from getting all over the place. They made no effort to clean any of it and left it all for me. As they were leaving, I noticed tar on the driveway and stopped them to ask about it. They asked me if it was there before. I told them that it was not, and I provided their office with a before picture of them pulling up to the property with their dumpster and then an after picture of them leaving with that stain there.

They were supposed to install my new gutters on October 3rd, but they ended up postponing that with only a 31 hour notice. This was a real headache for me, as I had used my last workday off for it. They got measurements wrong on one run of gutter, which left more damage to my house, so they need to come back the following work day. The two guys there had trouble installing the gutters, so they used my fence on each side to prop it up before calling a 3rd guy. This caused more damage to my fence. Five brackets were not installed properly.

Despite all of this damage and frustration, I was friendly throughout and never threatened to withhold any of their money, despite my spending $80 and 12 hrs to correct their mistakes. I gave them an opportunity to fix this stuff themselves. Once I saw what their "fix" stain my driveway, I wasn't about to let them "fix" anything else. While bringing up my concerns to them, they were dismissed or mitigated. They replied by telling me that they have an A+ BBB rating and a 4.8 star review, to which I responded with the hard truth... the overwhelming majority of their customers (almost all of them) don't or can't go up on their roofs to take a close look at any work done there, making any of their reviews almost exclusively customer service reviews, which is why the overwhelming majority of roofing companies have similar review scores. I wanted to give Bonedry 3 stars, but once I sent them incontrovertible evidence to rebutt their dismissals of my concerns, they stopped responding. They've taken no accountability for these issues.

I don't want to discourage anybody from hiring Bonedry. Instead, this is meant to encourage homeowners to take a close look or to have someone else take a close look at the work that is done by your contractors when it's safe and you feel comfortable doing so.

Took a few weeks through the summer due to staff changes however, the end result was very worth it. Especially since it has guarantee.

Thought about using this company, but as coincidence would have it, I ended up behind one of their trucks going under the speed limit in the express lane on I-25. I can't do business with a company whose employees are not only inconsiderate of others, but also make bad decisions like driving poorly with the company name plastered all over the vehicle.

Had Bone Dry replace an attic fan. They did a wonderful job. I was concerned about matching the roofing but everything came out perfect.

Talk about going above and beyond I worked with bone dry on a soffit-fascia-gutter repair project. We thought it would be very straightforward, but once they took the pieces off, they ended up having to rebuild the whole face of the house. AND they still honored their original pricing, despite all the extra work and thought and planning that it took. Have you ever even heard of that?!?! in 2024!

This is a shout out to Shanda Halverson, with Bone Dry! This gentleman actually helped me help my sister-in-law at a random gas station until he actually had to go to get to his next appointment, even allowing us to borrow his personal tow strap, not even knowing us. So I don’t know about their companies work yet, but definitely the type of people I would have no problem doing business with the next time I’m in need of their services!!

Edit- after the gutter install is finished. The roof side is awesome. If you need gutters included not so much. The guys first showed up and tore off the wrong houses gutters. Then got them to the right house and quick pretty sloppy work in my opinion. None of the gutter crew talked to us to give an update about anything. Had wrong material when they came so they installed opposite color piece. They had to come back twice for the correct color and then fix the house they took gutters off. So after all that I found out in tiny print on the bid downspouts are not included unless you add them. Not one person said anything about it or offered them. So make sure you tell them to add them or they will leave damaged downspouts with new gutters. Hope this helps future customers.

Bone dry roofing is an amazing company. I worked with Nick for setting up a quote and from that day they have been incredible. Nick went above and beyond a quote and found a couple holes and patched them so no further damage would happen. When I got the go ahead for getting the roofs replaced. They were on it they had materials ready and scheduled within 2 weeks. They took the time to explain there plans and never felt rushed or pushed away when I had questions. Extremely easy to work with. Once the crews came out for work to start they had everything ready and the crews just worked smooth and consistent. Devon and Wes were the supervisors they worked with there crews and made everything flow smooth flawless. We had two roofs done that took them not even 3 days to do with two crews. They send pictures every step of the installation.

We hired Bone Dry Roofing to change the gable vent to copper on the front of our house and place a vent cover in the roof. We phoned late afternoon to schedule a quote and the next morning they were at our house. They measured the vent size and they went over our entire roof and inside the attic inspecting and making small repairs for free and suggestions as part of the quote process. They ordered the parts and coordinated the schedule so everything was done in one go. Devon (in the pictures) was so meticulous through all of the install steps. He even touched up the trim paint where screws were placed to hold in the new vent. After he completed the job, he text messaged a full pictorial with descriptions of everything he did. We are so happy with all the Bone Dry staff and every aspect of this process. We highly recommend Bone Dry Roofing.

Disappointed with the final/lack of result. Hired to fix a leak in my roof, leak didn’t get fixed unfortunately. Had to have multiple return visits without success. I had to bring a leak detection company and then hire another roofing company once we came to the conclusion that the roof was still the problem. A total nightmare. There solution was a $500 gift card. Buyer beware

My skylight was destroyed during the hailstorm in Aurora on 5/30/24. I called around to a few places to see what company could fix my skylight asap. One company never followed up but Bone Dry gave me a call and we got things scheduled. There were a few hiccups with the arrival times (for the consultation and the day of installation) but the folks in the office took care of that and things were looked at and installed.

Overall, not bad. My condo community used Bone Dry in the past to replace the roofs on all of the buildings back in 2023, so it was a no brainer.

Really wanted to have a good experience with a roofing company for once, but it won't be this one.
Employee named Wedge came to my house last Wednesday and was super helpful answering my questions. Walked around the house, on the roof and in the attic with me. Gave me some suggestions on some things I can do myself to help with the attic temps like adding a few more soffit vents.
I made him aware right away of my budget of $1,500 cash to cool down my attic, either by adding more vents, solar vents, ridge vent, etc. After an hour visit it was proposed to me that a ridge vent would be the best solution and that it should be doable within that budget, and that I'll get a quote in a bit.
I get a call from him in the afternoon that it would actually be $3,000. DOUBLE my budget, and I never received a quote or any communication for an alternative solution either written or verbal.
It's obvious they only care about how much money they make, not on honoring their word.
Starting from scratch on my roofing company search while I add some soffit vents on my own this weekend in the heat.
Super bummed.

Recently had my roof replaced by Bone Dry. Very easy to say it was flawless from start to finish. My roof was in pretty bad shape, two layers of shingles, old, and beat up, the sun and hail we have in Northern Colorado is tough. It took longer to get HOA approval than it did to get the roof completely replaced by Bone Dry. Anyway, yes, 5 stars. Appreciate the professionalism and the manner of cleanliness around the house upon completion. The roof was completed while I was at work, If I didn’t have the crew on my doorbell cam I wouldn’t have known they were even there. Would easily hire them again in the future!

Wasn't sure if our roof replacement (necessary because of solar) would be covered under insurance. Bone Dry came out and circled all of the hail damage from our last hailstorm. Insurance came out, agreed quickly, and Bone Dry immediately ordered materials. About 2 weeks later they arrived at 7:30am and were done by 1pm. Amazing experience, would gladly use them the next time (knock wood) I need a new roof!

Had our roof replaced 2 yrs ago & the service & quality of construction was first rate. I can completely recommend Bone Dry. 3/2024 3 STAR REVIEW: We got a standing seam roof from Bone Dry on our sweet little 1800’s brick house to protect it for hopefully the next 100 years. They made a lot of promises when selling the roof that didn’t translate to the actual job, and gave all assurances it would be done in between 2-5 days and completed with precision, care, and protection for my garden. The project was set for 8 weeks out. The in-house staff that deals with the contract and pre-project updates was amazing to work with and updated me weekly to let me know when there were any schedule adjustments, and both project managers that we worked with were very genuinely kind and became wonderfully dedicated after we had a come-to-Jesus about a severe lack of communication on why the project kept stopping and had already taken two weeks. Randy and Toby did their best in the bad situation, and Randy is a rockstar who went above and beyond to try to make it up to us. Whatever he’s being paid, it’s not enough.

However, the project ended up taking over 6 WEEKS due to subcontractors not showing up for several days, parts repeatedly missing (and then taking a week each time to be delivered: I was without any roofing beyond ice guard for two solid weeks during winter, and my pets and husband had to find another place to live for much longer than anticipated due to noise and he works from home, which cost us a lot of money), poor communication when work would stop for days on end (did they just not show up? Are we being put on the back burner for other projects?), insulation was not replaced/added in all the places agreed upon (and paid for), moldy plywood was used in at least one place we have noticed, and the final install quality is overall a bit disappointing. There are gaps between the roofing and the brick, missing caulking that when I called it out was not taken care of, the vent pipes were reinstalled crooked, jagged terribly cut ends of panel ribs are left unsealed where wasps are definitely going to occupy now, the sub-contractors left huge piles of dangerous garbage behind (approx 9’x7’x3’ pile and another 10’x4’x2’ pile) for over a week before our project manager came to clean it up for them, and I later found they had also been putting 6 weeks worth of their lunch trash into one of my large gardening totes in the garden. I only found it when a raccoon decided to litter my yard with hundreds of food scraps, wrappers and containers after upending the bucket. I have a beautiful, large food-producing garden and they did not protect it from debris as promised and I am still constantly picking up screws, metal scraps, tar paper, and tufts of blow-in insulation out of my vegetable beds.

If you do decide to go with Bone Dry for standing seam metal roofing I would ONLY recommend doing so if you have it built in to the contract that their in-house team do 100% of the work so there is less chaos and excuses with scheduling and lack of personal responsibility from the crew on site.

Overall we do have a sound roof that looks good from a distance, but we had nearly two months of incredible stress, mess, noise, added expenses, and a saddening lack of care for our property. It was not at all a good experience for us.

UPDATE 7/2024, 4 STARS:
Since my first review Bone Dry has reached out and did everything they could to make it right. I am impressed and deeply grateful. It was frustrating that it took a public review before my concerns were handled, but I’ll take it, gladly. They have now gone above and beyond expectations and fixed all the things I worried about. So grateful.

Then, few weeks ago, we had a rainstorm that overflowed the gutters & came pouring in an open window at night. Long story short it was a combo of leftover roofing debris in the gutter, a bent place on the gutter, and an undersized gutter for the job. It took over 3 weeks for them to come fix the issue, but it’s been replaced with larger gutter and perfect now. I’m so very appreciative! :) I’ve amended my review to 4 STARS. Thank you, Bone Dry.

I had a roof leak around the chimney. A previous company came out and informed me that the whole roof would need replacing. I called Bone Dry for a second opinion. They identified the minor leak in our roof and fixed it all for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company. They were honest, reliable, and fast.

Bone Dry recently came out and replaced our roof. Business with them started out great. Nick assessed our damage, and was able to be on-site when the insurance adjuster present - in case there were any questions. After signing the contract, communication regarding next steps, schedule, etc. was top notch. On the day they replaced the roof, they accidentally damaged a few things (stained the driveway, damaged a gutter, broke a yard light). However, they did take the necessary steps to take care of those items. I would have given them 5 stars if this is where it ended.

The problem I have with them is that, a couple of days after they were complete, I noticed that not one, but two, of our vents had been shingled over and no longer existed. One was an attic vent, and one was a bathroom vent. I sent them photographic evidence that the vents previously existed, and they agreed to send someone out. However, when that person came out, it took more than a little discussion (even with the photos) to convince them that they covered up multiple vents. Then, when they did install the attic vent, they installed one that was significantly dented (the vent was visible from the street). I had to have them come out again and install an undamaged one. It is concerning that a basic check, like none of the vents being shingled over, didn't happen. We are lucky that we noticed it before it possibly caused damage - especially with regards to the bathroom... where the only vent was sealed off.
