Stonescape Steel Roofing just completed a complete replacement of my roof, including some exterior buildings. I could not be happier with the results. They handled everything from the insurance to touch-up paint on the house. Everything they promised was delivered, and then sum. They were patient with me when I had to think things through and make decisions or when I changed something on them. The crew was professional, efficient, and expert at what they did. The cleanup was done without asking. Sean and his team were meticulous in everything they did. It took a bit longer than I had hoped to get it all done properly, but I am so glad I had the patience to stick with it. Once the work started, I immediately knew that I had made the right choice.

Replacing a roof is never a fun experience. Like most roof replacements along the front range, hail damaged ours. I ended up looking at several companies and I have to say I'm really pleased with our decision to ultimately go with Stonescape Steel Roofing. Don't let their name fool you - they install asphalt shingles, stone coated steel, metal and more.

Kevin Dole was our rep @ Stonescape and his patience, ability to answer all of our questions, thoroughness to navigate insurance complexities, and working through our post-install nitpicking was fantastic - he's a rockstar (stonestar?). Kevin and I ended up sharing well over 80 emails, hundreds of photos, and even a few espressos over the course of 8 months and I couldn't be happier with the result. Our new roof looks and performs incredibly well and I wouldn't hesitate to use Stonescape again in the future.

Then he stopped at my next door neighbor’s house, climbed the ladder, inspected her roof, and told her that her roof was in good shape. That increased my confidence that this was an honest company. One of the Best experiences of my life! Stonescape replaced the roofs on our 52 stall indoor riding arena horse barn, Our 12 stall stallion barn and house. They were responsive to my questions, came out multiple times, and caught things on my roof that needed insurance to pay for that the insurance didn't catch... and they got it covered on my insurance so I got the job done right the very first time.

STONESCAPE STEEL ROOFING AND EXTERIORS is all we needed to know, and you should too, with exceptional service and quality in every step of the exterior home protection process. STONESCAPE handled all of the steps of the process: of course STONESCAPE favorably resolved the many issues with our insurance adjuster, replaced our roof with SB4 and installed a ridge cap (nice), repaired a dormer and made it squirrel-resistant, replaced some gutters, replaced all of the windows and painted the house. I don’t know of any other roofing company anywhere near Stonescape’s level of courtesy, knowledge and expertise. The only apology is that our house is not for sale because it is a keeper for us.

Our project manager Sean was awesome! Very responsive, answered all my questions and extremely patient while all the details were worked out with the insurance company. He provided good advice on how to get out of a bad contract with another roofing company and found the exact shingles we wanted. Stonescape Steel Roofing was able to completely fix a roof than several other Laramie roofers tried earlier to fix but failed. It's a tricky roof system- multiple roof lines converging in one place. No leaks since they fixed it-- even during torrential rainstorms this spring! Brien, their new rep in Laramie, came promptly to address another leak. He checked the situation out carefully, explained clearly what he saw going on, and got back quickly with a cost effective repair. I recommend them highly and considering their local competition, I recommend them more than highly.

I can not recommend Stonescape Steel roofing and sales person Joshua Jensen high enough. I had roof damage from a horrific hail storm. My neighbors on my left, right, behind me, and across the street plus many others in my neighborhood had their roof replaced -- but my claim to Allstate Insurance was denied. Unbelievable. Joshua was very patient and helped me dispute the denial. Without his help I would have given up. We ended up getting a 2nd appraisal and Allstate finally covered my loss. It took months and was very frustrating. Allstate was very difficult and I would not advise anyone to get insurance from them. But to Stonescape Steel roofing and Joshua Jensen I say think you, you guys are the best.

Stonescape is a great company! They were amazing to work with when we replaced our roof, siding, and windows. Everyone we worked with was professional, knowledgeable, and helped me understand the process as it was my first claim. I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Stonescape came out quickly after our roof was damaged and promptly secured a tarp over the damaged area. They claimed our insurance repair estimate was far too low and spent almost TWO MONTHS telling us they were negotiating with the insurance company for a larger reimbursement. During the time of their so-called negotiations, a new storm led to a leak, causing additional damage to the ceiling inside our home.

They continued to claim that they would extract more money out of our insurance company and presented us with a new contract stating that we would be responsible for the costs over and above the insurance payout. We declined to sign this, as they did not provide an amount of the exact repair costs. Ultimately their estimate was WELL OVER DOUBLE of our insurance payout + deductible. Had we signed their contract, we would have been responsible for those exorbinant costs.

Their lengthy "negotiations" with our insurer not only led to the new leak / interior damage, it caused a delay to our actual repair of almost TWO months. When we did not accept their open-ended contract putting us on the hook for the unreasonable repair cost, they charged us $620 for tarping the roof, which was about 15% of the total insurance reimbursement + deductible.

After we left Stonescape, the next roofer repaired our roof 2 days after inspecting it, at LESS THAN HALF of Stonescape's projected cost.

In sum, I would NOT recommend using Stonescape Steel Roofing. Their service delays caused additional damage to our home and the way they approach their contracts and insurance company "negotiations" appears an outright scam.

I had my roof installed the summer of 2022 and it was an excellent experience. The process started off with an explanation of what sort of hail protection I could expect from stone-coated steel shingles as well as the improved energy efficiency by putting the shingles on battens. After getting a quote for a new roof installation, Jesse Brown sat down with me and walked me through what the installation process would entail. He even helped me work with my insurance company to help me break down what my out of pocket cost would be!

Come time for the installation, the process was quick and efficient. All of the old shingles and waste were promptly picked up and protective covers were even placed over my flower beds.

Unfortunately, there had been a mistake. The wrong style of shingle had been delivered and installed! However Stonescape Steel Roofing made it right-- Jesse Brown made sure that the correct style of shingles were later installed and did a final inspection himself.

Despite the mistake, I have no regrets working with Stonescape Steel Roofing and I love my roof.

Stonescape steel roof is the way to go if you don't want to keep replacing your roof after heavy storms and big hail. We had a bad storm with heavy rain and golfball size hail last year destroyed our roof. There were all kinds of roofers come by and wanted to fix our roof but only one roofer had the respect to not drive up in the yard and barge in and that man was Jesse Brown. He was respectful and professional and knowledgeable after talking with him he helped us work with insurance company and his crew did a great job. I would highly recommend Stonescape to anyone.

I highly recommend Stonescape if you are considering replacing or upgrading your roof to steel. I have confidence that the garage/shop roof they installed will long outlive me. I wanted a core-10 steel roof (the kind that rusts naturally) to match the one on the house. Stonescape did an excellent job with the match. I specifically wanted a 20-gauge corrugated steel, which is thicker than the 22-gauge commonly available, so there was a supply-chain issue of locating a source in the metro. It took a few weeks longer to fill the order, but I believe the quality of the steel was worth the wait. Jay, the rep. who put the job together for me was a pleasure to work with; very considerate and excellent followup with me. The 3-person crew who performed the tear-off and installation were very steady and thorough, and nice folks. No major issues with the job, and I am very satisfied. Do know that this type of roof is expensive, but the longevity of the materials and labor will be worth it in the long-run. Ive had 20-gauge core-10 steel on my house for 10 years now, and that stuff just laughs at hail, and is a good protection if you live in fire-prone areas.

Very good roofing company, my roof has been sturdy. However I was driving on I-25 and their boss cut me off in traffic as I was coming up in the left lane.

Stonescape Steel Roofing was wonderful to work with. During the March 2021 snowstorm, a large branch fell on our roof and punctured it in many places, and tore off our gutter. Stonescape was able to come out immediately to patch the holes and give us a temporary gutter while we dealt with insurance for a roof replacement. Erika also worked with us and our insurance company to make it as pain-free as possible. Her whole team is knowledgeable, professional and respectful or our time. I would highly recommend Stonescape Steel Roofing.

My entire experience with Stonescape was excellent. Stonescape was with me all the way through the process, from meeting with the insurance adjuster, getting more supplements from the insurance company, helping me with which shingles to pick. etc etc. All employees were friendly and helpful. The crew that came to our house was amazing! They stripped and replaced 63 squares of shingles in the same day! That is 2 full house roofs! The crew did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves, I had zero trash left around the house. I would recommend them every day of the week.

When compared to other roofers, their bid was the most competitive and the salesman that I interacted with, Sean, was easily the most knowledgeable. Originally, the insurance company agreed to replace the roof and only PATCH the vinyl siding on my home which would've looked horrible because the vinyl siding color on my home was discontinued so they were using something "close" to the color. Stonescape enlisted a negotiator that worked on my behalf and not only did the insurance company replace the roof, but they also ended up replacing ALL of the siding, gutters, downspouts, a couple screens and a window and all I paid was my deductible. It took almost a year from time of claim to completion given all of the negotiating and just amount of work that needed to be done, and then with COVID, but I've since told all of my neighbors, friends, and family, if you need a great team to work hard for you to ensure your insurance covers ALL damage, properly, look no further than Stonescape Steel Roofing! They are professional and quick about their work. However I thought they actually were a roofing company with their own crew but they subcontract their work to others, so more like a Roofing Management Company. Several neighbors in my development used them and they were all pleased. Yet a neighbor told me that they promised her that they would send their best subcontractors to do her roof. I cannot tell if this was just a sell pitch to please a more finicky customer, although after working with different crews they likely know which ones do better work and which ones they can pay less. This is not really explained in their sell. I am still cleaning bits of tar roofing paper from my front yard. The crew that did my one story bungalow was Hispanic, very quick, maybe a little too quick. The roofing tiles in places do not appear to be laying all flat, hopefully this is not a serious issue. The roof passed City of Longmont inspection, but I was not home to talk to the inspector and to witness what kind of thorough inspection he/she did. They know how to work with insurance and that whole aspect of roofing contracting is a bit of a scam. Roofing prices can vary greatly for no apparent reasons and I was warned by the insurance adjuster that there is a good profit margin in roofing when covered by insurance companies. This came up since my insurance was the Non Recoverable Depreciation type. A home owner paying out of pocket can negotiate a total price several thousands below what insurance companies pay and roofing companies charge when dealing directly with one another. Only time will tell if this is a well done roofing job. My original roof lasted about 25 yrs with no leaks or issues but was well worn.

In Nov. 2019 we were in need of a new standing seam steel roof to replace an asphalt one for a cabin near Lyons CO. We gathered 3 estimates from local roofers.
