We are so impressed! We had an emergency roof repair after a windstorm a few days ago. We found this company online and knew nothing about him. H called us right back, came out to look and fixed it the next day. He did a fantastic job, quickly and perfectly. We have found our new roofer forever.

Rapidly & thoroughly assessed roof condition, was our advocate dealing with insurance company and quickly scheduled/replaced roof. Outstanding and respectful work crew left no trace after work was completed. Attentive and proactive service continued with follow-through with insurance company. A complete pleasure to interact with and phenomenal work quality!

I had my roof replaced by Severe Weather Roofing back in late May 2024. Working with Brennan and Daniel was a joy but I did have a few issues with the owner during the process. At first, the owner was not going to re-roof my covered deck even though it appeared to me my insurance company had covered that in their estimate. After I met with the owner, he agreed that the covered deck was to be re-roofed and was included in the insurance document.
The 2nd issue I had was during the re-roofing of my 2-car garage, the brackets that hold the insulation up against the ceiling in the garage were shaken loose by the roof removal and installation. Over 65 brackets fell letting the insulation sag or a few fall. When I reported this, I was told they were not responsible for damage inside the structure by their policy. Those brackets and insulation had been in place for over a year without one ever coming loose. If this company is truly a 5 star company, they should have sent someone out for an hour to reinstall the brackets they caused to fall. Due to my age and medical issues, I can't do this. If the company corrects this, I will update this review. I am also still waiting for a document from them for my homeowners insurance company indicating that they installed upgraded shingles.

Hunter from Severe Weather Roofing came down from Fort Collins to inspect our roof for hail damage. Even though he said there wasnt enough damage to make an insurance claim, we still got pictures and videos of our roof. Great service 5/5

The team at Severe Weather Roofing and Restoration are top notch. The are true professionals. Recent windstorms toppled tree branches that penetrated the shingles. A simple phone call and they were there to survey the damage and make the needed repairs before any further damage could occur.

We unfortunately inherited this company because the previous owners of our home used them to replace the roof and the warranty was transferred to us. It took them over a month to respond to a message that was a yes or no answer. We’re selling our home and needed them to come check the roof to replace some tiles. They came one day and didn’t bring a tall enough ladder. They were supposed to come out the next day, and they never showed! They didn’t respond to my husband’s texts to see if they were still coming out. I would never want to use this company! Worst company I’ve ever had to deal with.

The first 2 roofing companies I worked with stopped all contact with me once the insurance company denied my claim. John knows his building codes and was able to get the insurance company to pay. A roof inspection while our house was up for sale revealed damage to our "hail-resistant" roof that had occurred during a hailstorm years earlier. We needed our roof replaced quickly. John Anderson came out to check our roof and quickly sent us an estimate, plus he was able to get us scheduled within about a week. John also handled a very difficult and unexpected problem with solar panels on our roof that had to be removed and reinstalled to finish the roof. John Anderson is definitely one of the most capable, honest, and responsive contractors we have ever worked with, and we highly recommend his company to anyone needing roof work.

My experience with this company was great. David was very good to work with. They dealt with my insurance company, I only talked to the adjuster once initially. They even met with the insurance adjuster while I was at work. Painless. It only cost me my deductible and looks awesome. They even painted my plumbing vents to match the shingles! They also did a good job cleaning up after.

Great team of individual who care about their customers getting the best value. They went to bat for me with my insurance company to get the most out of them and saving me a lot of money. They got the job done in a day and had to bring the roof up to code. They know Colorado roofing issues and what need to be do to do the job right. Don't go with anyone else and stay away from out of state contractors. They will not be there for you when you need them like Sever Weather Roofing is.

Jason Sullivan knocked on my door because he was in the area. Very knowledgeable and thorough inspection of my roof. I got a bit worried as he helped me file a claim, then strongly recommended he be present to ensure that we get full value from insurance, and asked me to sign paperwork to commit to his company so he could speak for my insurance coverage. I felt a bit pressured and reached out to close friends. None of them had worked with Severe Weather Roofing. This is not a negative review. I would prefer a few more questions up front to determine if I'm the type of person to sign-up with a person I just met for a large project.

Never calls back. Once the work is done and they have your money, they never call you back. Left with visible ugly shingle marks supposedly somebody came out and fix them the guy didn’t speak English so none of the work got done. Not to mention the fact the workers removed my hose and twisted the outside faucet -I know they broke it ‘ cause the piping inside aren’t that secure. I was home all day, they never asked for help. Left my driveway littered with nails and racks.
Once they have my money they will never call me back. I’ve literally call them once a week a couple of times a day and it goes straight to voicemail. My calls are never returned. Supposedly there is a warranty on my roof and $1000 credit. I say supposedly because I’ve never seen the paperwork and I’ve never gotten the call back to confirm where that paperwork is. I do not recommend them for their professionalism. I think that you are going better off going with the local guy who is doing a good job and just trying to support his family.

We had a terrible experience with our previous roofers, got scammed and had lots of home damage from the previous faulty installation. Severe Weather (John was our direct contact) came in, empathetically supported us through the entire process of inspecting and redoing our roof. They went above and beyond in their support of us to get our home back in shape and deal with the ramifications of our previous roofers. They jobsite was immaculate the whole time, the roofers did a wonderful job, they used very high quality materials, explained everything in an easy sense, worked extremely well with insurance, and were so nice to do business with. John in particular was our "MVP" (most valuable player). I can't even tell you the number of calls and texts we've exchanged where he has been incredible compassionate, helpful, supportive and professional. Was very pleased Working with Dan C. I was worried that my new home may have suffered hail damages from recent storms in the area. Dan Was very informative, punctual, and Honest. Thankfully my house was in great shape . I would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We initially called Severe Weather Roofing to find why our roof was leaking. We had several companies come out, and each gave us a different answer. Daniel from SWR came out and took the time to actually go into my attic to see what was happening. Out of 4 companies, he was the only one who went into my attic. The leak wasn't actually happening from my roof - it was from a poor build design in my attic, and Daniel helped us understand how to quickly (and cheaply!) fix it. In the meantime, he also took a look at our roof, and worked with our insurance company to get us a new roof and new gutters. I was a little hesitant, as I have had trouble with roof replacements in the past - but Daniel graciously answered all my questions and oversaw the entire process from start to finish. It was the easiest roof replacement I have ever had. Daniel and the Severe Weather Roofing team were so great we had them redo the roof on our rental property as well.

SWR just completed a repair on my roof. I found the whole team professional, knowledgeable, easy to work with and very friendly, from the company owner to the roofers. Everyone spent a lot of time with me answering questions and making sure I understood all aspects of the job.

My experience with Severe Weather Roofing was exceptional from start to finish. Their strong communication helped us wade through the process of dealing with my homeowner’s insurance to get the proper settlement and was greatly aided by SWR years of experience. I had a lot of difficulty getting my insurance company to understand local code requirements. SWR was there to advise me on what to expect and how to process the claims.
The roofing work itself was excellent. The team that worked on my roof was both enthusiastic and detail oriented. From the demolition process--known to be messy, to the finished roof, SWR was very conscientious with regard to protecting my landscaping and cleaning everything up. I highly recommend SWR.

These guys were great until they got their money. As soon as they had most of their money they stopped responding to me. They left trash in my yard..a big piece of metal they promised to come get. Then I overpaid and they said a refund check was in the mail..I have called multiple times and suddenly they are never available. I gave then a few months to respond to the missing check before writing this.
Edit: After seeing this review the right people contacted me and said they didn't receive my messages. I appreciate the fix happening for both issues but communications at the office e need to be looked at.

In July, we sustained hail damage to our roof, siding and gutters. A friend highly recommended Severe Weather Roofing and knowing someone with prior experience with this company was helpful. I called SWR and John Anderson was out the next day to assess the damage and needed repairs. They were very flexible with our schedule, the work and clean up was excellent, and Andrew helped us work through the insurance process. I was very happy with every aspect of our experience with John, Andrew and their team.

This was my first roof replacement and I was pleasantly surprised at how stress-free it was. Everyone I met with was courteous, professional, and really quick to get the work done. My insurance company was apparently a larger pain than most, but even when they were difficult, I never had to get involved and I never had to pay more than my deductible. I even got $250 off because my neighbors decided to use them too, which was a nice surprise. The work was completed about a month ago and I'm very happy with the end result. I would absolutely recommend this team for future roof repair (though I hope I don't have to think about that for many years to come now...!).

We cannot say enough about Ken Barnes and his crew! They are dependable, reliable, and even with our tight schedule made it happen! They installed a new flat roof, making necessary repairs so it would not leak anymore. Even after a DIFFERENT contractor decided to "no-show" on us, to take down a railing that was necessary to complete the roof, Ken was able to adjust and got the job done, even on-time! After reviewing several roofing companies, we decided to go with Severe Weather Roofing. This was the first time we ever had to file an insurance claim and wow can that be a headache. I had hail hit my roof and thought it would be a pain - thankfully Severe showed up and made it a lot easier!

When Allstate came out to look at my roof Severe Weather Roofing had someone along and I watched them point stuff out to the rep. I don't know if it all would have been taken care of if they hadn't been there to make sure Allstate caught the damage.

When the roof actually got replaced I was expecting it too take a couple days but they were able to come out and do my roof in just 1. That's pretty awesome! Once it was all over with they worked with Allstate too so I didn't have to do anything there either!

Amber and Andrew were both thorough in explaining the paperwork and process of getting our new roof after a hail storm. The work was completed in one day, and there were no nails or anything like that found in the yard after. I had a range of color options for the new shingles, and the work completed was of high quality.

We had a great experience with this company. They were very responsive and very detailed with the answers to our questions. The team that came out to put on the roof was very professional and worked diligently to put the roof on. They worked in extremely windy conditions and I thought they were going to leave for the day, but they completed the job. The team also did a great job of cleaning after they completed the roof. Working with Josh was a great experience. He is very knowledgeable and was very helpful when it came to selecting shingles, gutters and other things damaged in the hail storm.

We contacted Severe Weather Roofing to inspect the roof of a mobile home we'd just purchased, only to discover the roof was in very bad shape and needed to be replaced. After removing the old roof they found that some of the insulation needed to be replaced and trusses and decking needed to be added. We now have a good roof that should last a good number of years. All people we interacted with were very professional and kind.

I had a great experience with this company and Andrew whom were very quick to get the job I needed done and also had a lot of patience. They are very nice and had great customer service. I would defiantly recommend them.

The company was great to work with in the beginning; however, the problems began after the roof was installed. We began the whole process in July and, to date, the roof still has not passed inspection. They have not been very communicative with my insurance company, so I have not yet been able to receive the rest of my insurance payment. When I tried to move the process along quicker by contacting the town permit office, the building inspector, and my insurance adjustor, and I called Andrew to give him the information I had obtained, I received an angry 10 minute lecture from him. It has just been a very long, frustrating, and difficult experience overall. I also believe that what I was charged was a little high.

I have to apologize and update my review. There was a misunderstanding between the company, the town, and the inspector about the code upgrades that the company was responsible for; however, the issue has been resolved and the roof has passed inspection. However, there still appears to be an issue between the company and my insurance, but I'm sure Andrew will have it resolved very soon.

Severe Weather Roofing was super!! After coming to my door and inquiring about my roof, I agreed to have Jason go up and have a look. The roof was 20yrs old and he not only looked for hail damage but wind damage as well. I needed a new roof! Lots of wind damage and missing shingles! Bear provided superior customer service and displayed a level of knowledge that I did not expect when I called Severe Weather Roofing.

I hired Severe Weather Roofing to do a full roof replacement on my house after some hail and wind damage. They got out quickly and got the project started. The crew took about 3 days to finish the job, when i walked the roof after they finished and discovered there were a ton of issues with how they installed the roof. There was a lot of damage to the roofing materials, damaged rain gutters, improper installation, and loads of flashing issues and face nailing. After i brought the issues to the attention of Derrick and Josh in the company they came out the next day to get photos of the issues and figure out a solution. Shortly after they got a plan together and with zero hesitation replaced the entire roof they had just done and put all new rain gutters on as well. They fired the crew that installed and damaged the first roof and took full responsibility for the job and did what needed to be done to make everything right. The second roof was done correctly, in a single day. I will use them again for any roofing needs and refer them to anyone i know. Companies with that kind of morals and standard is hard to find now days. I highly recommend them.

A lot of roofers have a bad name and I know why...last time I had my roof done it was by someone who had no idea what they were doing and I got stuck paying to fix their problems when they disappeared.

So hear I am, expecting to hear all the worst when these guys come out; but instead it's the opposite. They are local and haven't left me hanging!

No one wants hail to come through but it's part of Colorado. At least with Severe I know who to help me out when it happens again!

I had Severe Weather Roofing replace two roofs on my rental properties in Fort Collins. Late summer 2018 was a very busy time for them and our dates were changed several times. Through it all there was good communication and phone calls always returned. Derek was always calm and willing to help sort out any concerns or questions I had. He is a great asset to the company!

This was the worst customer service experience. I was belittled and berated when my insurance company was delayed in paying. The company owner was disrespectful and treated me as if I didn't count due to being a woman. He treated my job as if it were something small due to my gender. He was rude and when I called back to try and have an adult conversation he continued to treat me as less then a person. I will never use this company or recommend them to anyone I know. I will be letting everyone I work with and for know that this company is less than professional. This company does not deserve anyone business or attention

Regret doing business with Severe Weather Roofing. Other reviews seemed to have good luck with them. We did not. First problem both salseman and manager lied about estimate. I requested it be sent to me and they directly sent to my insurance, stating that homeowners cannot have a copy of estimate. This was my flag. Shame on me for continuing on. They have you sign ugly contracts that are all for thier protection. Biggest problem with this company was communication. My final insurance payment was $1700 short. Kinda of a big deal. All they were fucosed on was getting their payment not on helping me figure out how such a big mistake happened. Got harassing phone calls. Took time off of work to go to thier office for a scheduled meeting with the manager and owner a Mr JOHN ANDERSON to resolve this problem. HE NEVER SHOWED!!! NEVER CALLED but had the time to send me an intent to lien on my house! Lastly the crew broke a window on the house. While they did get the window fixed. I feel that if I didn't have them sign something that said they were responsible it wouldn't have been fixed. As per talking with others around town they are good at breaking windows. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Couldn’t be happier having selected Severe Weather Roofing to replace our roof after hail damage. Derek was awesome to work with. Everything was done on time, was very clean, and with good communication. We would highly recommend them.

They were very easy to work with and very professional. They took care of everything for me including the correspondence with my insurance company, the filling out of the paperwork, the sending of the checks to have my bank endorse... etc. I really didn't have to do a thing but pick out my shingle color. They were very prompt. Arrived on the scheduled day and time they said they would and got my roof replaced in a day! The work that they do is top notch! I have the best roof in my neighborhood! I was very impressed and very satisfied.

Severe Weather Roofing did and excellent job on our roof. We have a rather difficult roof and the guys came in and got it done in a timely matter. They were very professional and very thorough with the clean up. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.
