"summary": "Customer feedback primarily highlights significant frustrations with staff knowledge, communication, and service at AutoZone. Many customers report unpleasant experiences, including rude interactions, unfulfilled orders, and inadequate assistance when seeking parts. The inconsistency in service quality appears to stem from a lack of product knowledge among employees and poor internal communication. Although some customers commend individual staff members for their helpfulness, these positive experiences are overshadowed by the overall negative sentiment regarding the store's reliability. As a result, many patrons express a strong inclination to switch to competitors for better service.",

Staff here have 0 knowledge of vehicles, the staff rudely interupt me as if I'm a burden to their day, I was trying to be helpful knowing they had 0 clue on what I was talking about and I felt as if I was being rushed out of the store, this is the exact reason why online shopping will eventually bankrupt these part stores.

Well the face that I had to go find it on my phone and show them what I needed then they had to order it. I was told that it was gonna be there the same night. I called the next day and the parts mind you were 20 minutes from me. I wouldn't use them unless I really need to. They are a joke my 10 year old sister knows more then most of them in there. That's saying a lot.

Today I remembered I could go to AutoZone here in Ephrata and get my BATTERY Tested. I walked in Store a man said " What do you need?" I told him, he looked around and said,
" THAT system is not working. Go across street to O'Reilly's THEY have Tester." Frankly I was Stunned. He's NOT going to help me. I DID go to O'Reilly's TREATED ME LIKE I WAS IMPORTANT CUSTOMER. AUTOZONE, EPHRATA IS AS TERRIBLE AS THE REVIEWS STATE.

Ordered fuel filters for my 2010 F350. Was told they would be in by 2 o’clock and they would give me a call. 230 still hadn’t gotten a call back called in. They said the order was never made or the hub messed it up. Went ahead and ordered it again said it would be there by five and they would call. Never got a call so called this morning. There was never an order made for those fuel filters. I put my mechanic off two times and has now cost him and myself money. Unbelievable , the inability for so many people to do their jobs. I will not go to AutoZone again. I would recommend that nobody else does. O’Reilly’s is across the street and has far better service.

My husband and I had pre-ordered a caliper for my car. We received a phone call yesterday saying that our part was there, it was already pre-paid. we would either need to come pick up the part or come in and get a refund before they can send it back. Which my husband told them he would be coming in We called today to let them know we were coming up to pick up our part. However, they said they already refunded someone which would have been a random person and they said the system says the parts there however they can’t find our part. They are not willing to fix it or make it right. I will be going in again today. This was over $100 part. This is ridiculous. This type of thing should not be happening.

There needs to be better communication between management and employees. I had Called ahead of time at 7:45pm to confirm a part for my Honda. When I called I informed the associate that I was Driving in from Moses as the part was unavailable in the nearby stores, and it was emergent that I get that part as my car COULD NOT RUN without it. The associate asked for an estimated time of my arrival, and I inquired if 8-8:02 at the latest would be okay. I apologized For being there so close to closing. The associate reassured me that it was not an issue, so I made The drive only to be confronted with locked doors and a manger trying to hide behind some signs when I wasn’t Leaving because I called Ahead. The manager, Anthony Patch, came out of hiding and started with the excuses that the tills were already closed. I explained That I called ahead and that I was Okayed to make the transaction by an employee. Anthony stated “next time ask for a manager.” THAT. IS. NOT. OKAY. If an employee is unsure about something it needs to addressed. AND it’s not the job of the customer to specifically ask for a manger because is it unnecessary. I am FUMING because now I do Not have a mode of transportation. I will Be taking my business to oreillys from now on.

Very frustrated, the last 3 times we be called I have been placed on hold for over 5 minutes and had to call back. I’m now calling O’Reilly’s and will take my business there since you don’t seem to have adequate staff to serve your customers. I spend a lot of money at Autozone and unfortunately have been forced to take my business elsewhere.

I give Ephrata Auto Zone 12 out of 5 stars.
My headlights burned out and the counter guy explained the differences between headlights and then offered to install them.
I just had back surgery and this was a godsend for me.
Kudos to this young man and to the manager who hires and promotes the best customer service out there. Where others might try to be the best these guys excel at it.

All but 2 members of staff have tested positive for covid 19 as of August 27. District management refuses to shut down the store and is going to bring in more staff from other areas, who will likely also contract covid-19 and bring it back to local locations like Quincy and Moses. Other employees and customers are actively being exposed to covid

PLEASE avoid if you are immunocompromised or otherwise do not want covid. Avoid other locations as well, and make sure to wear a mask. If you've been to this location recently, consider getting yourself tested and watch your health closely.

I think that it is awesome there are females working a parts counter, but they need to be taught! Staff very unprofessional tteat their customers like they are stupid for asking questions about your vehicle!!! Orielies is the better store, better staff, and believe it or not they have a little better pricing.

Went to get a simple part, body panel clips. The guy at the counter couldn't be bothered to look up the part or show me where to look in the aisle. While I was wasting time looking in the wrong place, I got to overhear him and the lady employee loudly cussing and complaining about another customer as well as arguing with someone over the phone. I ended up buying the wrong part, took it back inside to try to find the correct part then forgot to return it when I ran out of time and left the store. I called to try to explain the situation and kept getting talked over instead of them trying to understand what happened. Never going back.

I asked if they would test my car to see why it was making such a noise, and they did. But, because my car didn't have the 'check engine light on, they couldn't get a reading.
Another time I stopped at an Auto Zone when my 'check engine light' was on and the reading was very thorough.
I was impressed.

Pricing questions
1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
