I'm a Canadian Long haul truck driver, I stopped at the Omak Walmart Superstore on my way down to california, and accidentally left my wallet there.
I called them the next day and found out that I had indeed left my wallet there, they confirmed over the phone I was a rightful owner, they saved it for me, for when I could return. I got my wallet back and there was absolutely nothing missing. There is even $10 Canadian money in it still, (I know Canadian money isn't worth very much), but even still, very impressed with the customer service, the friendliness and the honesty of the folks that work at the store. If I could rate at 10 out of 5, I would.
Thank you so very much, greatly appreciated!

Hele fijne winkel. Wij troffen een hele lieve jonge vrouw achter de kassa en een gezellig praatje met ons maakte. Mooi om te zien hoe vriendelijk iedereen hier is. Bedankt!

Amber was very unprofessional. She questioned our ages in a very rude manner, and the lottery machines were turned off before verifying my ID. Even after I provided valid identification, Amber made no effort to turn them back on, rolled her eyes, made gestures and did not offer any sort of apology. Completely unnecessary and disrespectful behavior.

Look. I'm not about to sugar coat it. Whoever they have answering their phones, should NOT be answering anyone's call. I ordered florescent lights from Walmart and they came broken into literally thousands and thousands of pieces. So I called Omak because I'm closest here, hoping they would be willing to exchange if they just had the product on hand. I genuinely cannot tell you how rude and dismissive the lady on the other end of the phone was. Believe it or not lady, you may have to deal with a frustrated customer or two in CUSTOMER SERVICE
Don't be in customer service if you can't handle telling someone politely that you can handle a return for them. When I told her the product was severely damaged and in unsafe condition she acted like I was an absolute moron for even mentioning it, "we still need the product sir. how do we know what you bought" uhm maybe my receipt? Maybe the rest of the glass that's still in the bottom of the box? Absolutely crazy dude.

I despise shopping here. I've had a litany of issues with Walmart employees and infuriating considering the people that generally give me a hard time appear as if they were casted straight out of the "Hills have eyes." If I didn't have to shop here when back in the states I wouldn't; and neither should you. Go support a loyal grocery like Gene's or IGA.

They are awesome, don't see how anyone can complain. They have everything and they don't do some of the annoying tricks other Walmarts do. Parking lot is very comfortable with lots of level choices, I've stayed there several times. I don't know if it's official to the store but one employee when asked what the rules were said, "Keep your stabilizers up and don't throw a barbecue and invite all your friends."

The worker's are polite and courtesy and are always helpful when you need it but sometimes it gets to crowded for me I wish they were still open 24hrs like it was before COVID hit use all.

Been shopping here for years now. Watched it get torn down then built up to a supercenter. I get most of what I need here.

While the physical Walmart store doesn't always have what I want they do have most of it and fair prices too.

The store really needs more cashiers. Every time I go here it takes almost 1/4 to 1/2 of my time just to check out! The cashier I had today wasn't friendly and had a smug look on her face. She didn't seem motivated and wasn't bagging my groceries into the bags. I was struggling to reach my items to even bag them and she started checking out the next customer!
The auto department person didn't seem to know anything about tires, cost to mount etc.

This Wal-Mart is generally a good place to shop. The self check out is good, but a few more live check outs would be good for us seniors..

Since I've started doing Wal Mart pick up, it has been amazing, but their delivery system with USPS is horrible. If you live in a rural community and it doesn't fit in your mailbox, it's in limbo, and you get charged a re-delivery fee. That's why I like Amazon because they always leave it at your doorstep. I'm not changing my 3 stars from 2 years ago, unfortunately. Still haven't changed my mind on the pick-up vs. delivery. Did up one star for their pick-up system. Okay, now it's been another year or so 12-20-2024 and only do pick up. Completely have given up on delivery.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
