Walmart Supercenter - Vermillion, SD

Nice store location traveling thru via RV. Stayed in the parking lot last nite. Grocery shopped this morning and back on the road

This store offers a better shopping experience for sensitive souls! Shop between the hours of 8-10 AM and the lights are not so bright and the loud music is off. It is lovely.

Overall Vermillion SD walmart is my favorite one to shop at!! Clean , organized and the employees are happy and very helpful !!

This walmart , continuing to go down hill , with product , not pulling expired things off shelf that are outdated by months , continues to discontinue selling products that most of products that we normally shop for , and their quality of things have drastically gone down hill , because walmart as a whole company continues to cut corners and buy cheaper things from their merchants , only to resell to the public at 3x the price , and just not giving a crap , they continue to have food recalls , and don't even pull all them ....

Handicapped equipped, friendly, helpful employees. Associates were all doing their job, stocking , recovery, everyone busy. Will still take time to help assist when asked.

I tried to purchase some Burberry perfume for my wife today. It's our anniversary. The lady at the pharmacy was nice enough to call over the loud speaker for someone to come over and assist me. After waiting for a while I had her call again. After the second time I thanked her for trying and informed her that someone will need to come and unload the items in the cart I left. Could I have done more, asked again? Yep. Guess I'll finish this by what the kids say these days..... Walmart, Do better.

Every product I have acquired from Walmart worked perfectly for me. Walmart employees are always amazing and ready to assist.

Customer service was outstanding today over the phone. I had left the store without a bag of items. I didn't think I had the receipt so they went up and beyond trying to find my transaction which I paid by cash so they couldn't track a card number. They put much effort into trying to help me so I could claim items. Turned out I found the receipt and customer service said i could claim items that fidnt come home with me. Shayann did such a wonderful job working hard to help me and with 100% professionalism. To be honest at most stores I ask for help and I get a look and I cannot help you and that is in person. So I wanted to thank the vermillion store for their hard work and dedications to their customers. Great job.

I accidentally brought the wrong item and went to return it. When I got to Walmart I went to customer service were there was no line and Stacy was sitting at the counter. I stood there for about 5 mins and it took another employee telling her I was standing there. I then went to go return the item and Stacy was very rude about me not being able to return it. I could have cared less that I couldn’t have returned it but I didn’t appreciate her rude comment about how if she returned it she would lose her job. I feel most people have great customer service but not today sadly.

We stood at the bakery FOREVER and noone waited on us. We were holding a cheesecake and wanted "Happy Birthday " written on it. Mickey came by and said he would try. He did a great job even though I know he didn't do this normally. He tried and I thank him. Great employee that you have there.

Ordinarily I would give this walmart a better review but I can't this time. I usually place a pick up order. They usually have every thing I need and rarely have any substitutions. I went in to the app to place my order and some of the stuff I was going to order was listed as out of stock. This has been the status on a few items for the past few weeks whenever I try to place a pick up order. I decided to go in to get a few things and the shelves were full of the "out of stock" items. If they don't want to offer these things for pick up then just say that. Don't lie and say they are out of stock.

What can I say. Other than it's Wal Mart but this location in Vermillion is one of the better ones to shop at ...
"Update" My oh my how suddenly things can change quickly.. I pray nothing ever happens to me like what I saw happen here the other day... I don't know how people can be so selfish and heartless..

The "update" has made locating anything logically impossible, the new SWAT uniforms for former greeters (now asset protection) makes customers feel like criminals at both entry and exit, while the coral at the check-out portrays the honest view point of corporate Walmart, namely, we (customers) are all just so much cattle that now pay even more (most products) for the privilege...

Staff are great and the store is always clean Superb compared to every other Walmart I’ve been to. I like that they have sensory friendly hours. I wish they would keep the Caroline Cart (for special needs) up front with the rest of the carts though instead of keeping it in customer service; many people and families in our Vermillion community could really benefit from this cart and it’s a shame it is hidden. Otherwise it’s always a joy to go grocery shopping and visit with staff. They are always so helpful and friendly.

Always super friendly clean and organized in here and loving the remodel now that it's almost done. Also love the feature of the scan and go, and the slow hours in the morning for someone who has sensory processing disorder like myself it is amazing how calm and quite it is
