Walmart Supercenter - Sheridan, WY

This location is unorganized and poorly managed. I was very frustrated when I received 3 different responses in regards to a return policy. I would not have purchased the item, that I now cannot even exchange if I'd known the policy. The return policy is posted nowhere! I have not had good experiences shopping in this location. I realize that the policy is corporate, but post it and train your people!! I've completely lost what little trust I have for Wal-Mart's integrity and honesty.

My first visit to Walmart in Sheridan, Wyoming, was a truly memorable experience. As I stepped into the store, I was immediately struck by the wide aisles, the sheer variety of products, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. I wandered through the aisles, marveling at how efficiently everything was organized. However, the highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the cashier, who embodied the friendly and helpful spirit of this charming town. She greeted me with a warm smile, making me feel immediately at ease. As I approached the checkout, she not only made the transaction smooth and quick but also assisted me with bagging my items, ensuring everything was neatly packed. Her cheerful demeanor and attention to detail turned what could have been an ordinary shopping trip into a delightful and positive experience. It was clear that customer service is a priority here, and I left Walmart feeling both satisfied and grateful.

Big shoutout to David, Isaiah and Hailey who went above and beyond in the furniture section. Hailey knew to find David, who found Isaiah. They were able to allow me to purchase a floor model of a clearance item. Isaiah went all over the store to get tools to unbolt it from the display shelf, never complaining a moment. Then David gave me an unexpected price reduction that made the deal that much sweeter. It all took maybe 15 minutes and was much appreciated.

I walk inside every few weeks and buy all the ramen, instant rice, beans and MTN dew I can find. Also they carry some Civivi knives, which is nice. Truly incredible.

Can't say enough nice things about the young lady. Leah who helped me while I was shopping the other day. She deserves a raise!

Employees are too lazy to see that yes, your labelled items are a different price in store versus what's scanned. Yes, that's why I talked to you, yes, it's illegal to advertise one price and charge another. Don't tell me it wasn't supposed to be there. Everything was on sale in that category that's what clearance is.

I think you have to score under 60 on an IQ test to work here

Have been able to find items that were needed and wanted at a reasonable price resulting in fast and smooth transactions.

Went with my sister to get her a new phone today and the one associate said that the tech was on her lunch break and we would have to wait 25 minutes. That was perfectly fine, we were going to wait and look around the store. Then, the tech actually wasn’t on her lunch break yet so she slammed her food on the table and was all like “you lookin for a phone or what?” And my sister politely said yes we were looking for an iPhone 16 plus. She then grabbed one from behind the counter and then told us the price and we said it was fine. She then rang it up and asked what carrier we wanted to use and we said straight talk. She didn’t say anything other than I can’t sell this with that carrier. No ideas, or plans to help us solve this issue or anything. My sister then asked if she could check the regular 16, so she rang it up and said no again. At this point it was obvious that she didn’t want to be helpful like a normal human being who works in retail. We just walked away and didn’t buy anything. If that is the only tech person you have you may want to rethink your choices. She was very rude and unhelpful. It is not my problem that she was about to eat lunch. We could’ve waited, and we did not deserve to be treated that way because she is either a rude person or hungry or having a bad day. It’s not like we demanded anything from her or were rude or anything.

This not exactly a review of the Sheridan WY Walmart, but Walmart in general. I realize that this company is probably facing significant losses due to shoplifting and theft, however putting everything behind lock and key is a terrible solution. Walmart’s decision to implement self checkout and customer service-less experience in their stores has backfired and now the customers that are honest and do pay will be shopping elsewhere. I can think of several “customer friendly “ solutions that would have achieved the same result and not driven away your customers.

This Walmart is in a rough spot. They have recently implemented a anti-stealing policy where all cosmetics are locked behind cases. On top of that when you get the item from the case. when an employee finally shows up, they take that item and have to put it in a locked box. The problem is they don't have enough boxes of the right size. Because of this when my sister needed a face cleanser the box that the cleanser is in was too big so they couldn't put it in one of the lock boxes. They had to bring it up to one of the service desks where we would then have to go after shopping. Then if we wanted to check out the lady would have to walk with us to the checkout, instead of just being handed it. This Walmart makes every customer feel like they are the criminal. For a multibillion-dollar company they should be able to have a better system. I really hope this Walmart turns around soon.

Walmart is an affordable one stop option. It's quick and easy to find what I need. If I can't find it, the employees are helpful and courteous.

Clean, decent selection. It's a Walmart, so you know what is sold there. Decently stocked and rarely am disappointed in the selection. Checkout staff are always friendly.

Need to watch self serve registers because people not paying for everything in blue bags I seen a lady not paying for everything she stealing it’s sad when mat the manager doesn’t do shit when a lady stealing thru self service she uses Walmart bags I’m calling main office hope u get fired mat

Plenty of easy in and out parking and well lit. Larger and wider aisles than my home store in Kalispell Montana. Plenty of electric shopping carts unlike Kalispell Montana. The shelves looked fully stocked. Although for the last several days they are out of stock with whole kernel sweet corn. Had to ask an employee where something was and instead of just pointing they took me to the product. That never happens in my hometown Walmart. The store was organized and clean. You should see the Walmart on Hope Street downtown salt Lake City it's third world and that's no exaggeration whatsoever. This Walmart in Sheridan could be the role model for the rest. There was no waiting at the self checkout. I checked out in less than 4 minutes. I wish we had the Sheridan Wyoming Walmart in Kalispell Montana. It's a world of difference. If you've ever been to downtown salt Lake City, Walmart on Hope Street, then you know you should thank God himself for this Sheridan Wyoming Walmart. That Walmart was so ghetto and that's no exaggeration that I finally decided to drive to the foothills as there was a Walmart there and it was world class, like Sheridan.

I Love the convince of this store! The staff is nice and I Love that they have a red box. It makes a big difference!
