Dalton's RV Center

Traveling and needed repair on 5th wheel slides. Dalton's was excellent. We stayed in their RV park, full hookups, and they worked us in next day. They did a fantastic job. Got us all fixed and back on the road. They are GREAT people and they were a blessing to us. ❤️

We happened to stop at Dalton's RV to spend the night. I mentioned we had a generator problem and Jenna, Jess and Dalton jumped in to help. We got a warrantied generator delivered and he fit us in his schedule to get on our way. Excellent experience!

I had an air conditioner that went bad on my Tiffin Allegro Bus. This repair shop went above and beyond helping me get it fixed. Absolutely incredible service. If I could have given them 10 stars I would’ve. But could only give them 5 stars.

I made a small purchase, very friendly and informative employees.
I asked, and they did say, they have a full hook up pay Campground just behind the building. Nice area to stop.

While traveling through Wyoming, had a Coleman A/C replaced with a new unit in Cheyenne. Two days later in Sheridan, unit would not cool. Dalton worked me into his schedule, diagnosed the problem and arranged a warranty claim. Although Dalton didn't sell the original unit, he went out of his way to make sure our vacation was not a bust. Parts and service department made sure we were well informed during the progress. Can't say enough about Dalton's RV, Honest and Truley care about their customers. Thank you................

Was staying at Dalton’s RV and campground. Even though he was not able to fit us in, he took time to phone around to find someone that was available. Genuinely good folks at Dalton’s, and the parts store has everything!

Mr. Dalton asked questions about my battery problems and advised I didn’t really need new battery! Very honest person! A rare treat these days! Many thanks!

Il m'a dit avoir changé un fusible. Je trouvais la facture de 432$ élevé pour avoir changé un fusible. Il m'a dit aussi avoir réparé mon jack même si ce n'était pas mon désir car je n'utilise jamais mon jack. Je lui ai montré mon mécontentement du total de la facture et il m'a alors expliqué qu'il a reprogrammé le chauffage. J'étais satisfaite d'avoir plus d'explications même si je trouvais la facture exorbitante. Il m'a alors dit qu'il y a des clients comme moi qu'il ne pourra jamais satisfaire. J'ai trouvé sa remarque non professionnelle et pleine de jugement. J'étais dans mon droit d'avoir des explications pourquoi la facture était si élevée.

$515 to winterize and inspect the water heater on my camper. I only took my camper there to find out what was wrong with my water heater. The technician informed me within the first 5 minutes that my water heater tank had a small hole in it. There were no repairs made on my camper.

They asked me if I wanted them to winterize it while it was there. I figured they could do it at least as fast as I can (I can winterize my camper in no more than 45 min). After all, they are professionals. I was wrong.

Everyone at Dalton’s (Travis, Jess and Dalton) was extremely helpful and understanding when we had an emergency with our rig. One of our leaf springs snapped on the way to Montana. They found the right replacement parts and got us fixed up and back on the road quickly. I VERY highly recommend Dalton’s RV.

I wish I could give them more stars! My a/c quit while travelling. In August of a record-breaking heat wave. I've been calling every RV repair place along the road, trying to get someone who could at least look for something obvious. The nice lady here (I'm terrible at remembering names) said if I wanted to come to the shop, she'd try to have someone look at it but she couldn't promise, which is entirely reasonable in the busy summer season. I parked outside and she came out apologizing that they were still busy but if I wanted to stay over the weekend, she'd have someone look at it Monday morning. A few minutes later, someone came out to look at it and lo and behold, it was a flipped circuit breaker. (I'd never bothered to learn how to get the box open, it has an odd opening, bad on me.) I had him show me how to work it. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Good stock, employees suggested good alternative to the Trailer extension cable I needed. Nice friendly people. I paid far too much for the parts, perhaps twice what I could get them for elsewhere, but on the road you pay what you must and the parts were good quality.

We're in Sheridan for the Bighorn Trail Run. We needed to be close to one of the local hotels for a 2:45 am pickup. Dalton's Jackalope campground is very conveniently located to everything in Sheridan. While close to the freeway, you don't notice the noise at night. We were also experiencing issue with our trailer refrigerator. It was a lucky coincidence for us that Dalton's is also a full service RV parts and repair facility. Their campers get priority. Once I had the battery re-charged, I pulled the power and tried the gas again. No luck. The refrigerator would not start. I went into the shop at 10:30 am and Dalton was out to our trailer before noon to diagnose the problem. He fixed it on the spot. Everyone here is incredibly nice, friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again. Thank you Dalton!

Great friendly folks. We were there almost 30 minutes before they opened. They saw us and opened up! Lots of parts. Excellent experience.

We are traveling across the United States. Multiple things were going awry with our trailer. We pulled in on a Thursday afternoon. They assessed the repairs needed and were able to get us in at 8 am Friday morning. Ended up with a new Ac unit, 2 new batteries, new converter, new gas lines, filled our propane tanks and installed a back up camera on our camper. The entire staff was very kind, patient and truly acted like they cared about our families well being and did what they could to help us. The RV site was cleaning easy to connect to. The showers were clean and the laundry facilities were great! Thank you so much!

Great folks, professional, kind, and courteous. Their tech did a thorough job assessing the issue and did his best to fix it. The four is only because I felt the parts markup and labor was a bit much. Lastly, we didn’t get to the bottom of the problem, as two days later same issue is arising. Over all I recommend them but they are expensive.

This is a family-owned business that treats you like family. We were very pleased with the services that they provided. As full-time RVs travelers we have had our fair share of having to get our RV service from time to time. I would have to say that Dalton RV center provided us with professionalism, prompt service and kindness. They also have a campground on premises that is very clean and has beautiful views. We needed a heater part. The price was fair, but they add 3.5% I you don't pay cash. They also will charge yoy shipping, but fail to mention that possibility when ordering parts. They wait for it to come in and hit you with that additional charge

Dalton was very nice and went far and above to fix our Coach. He even worked in the rain. I would definitely recommend him for service.

We had a great experience at Dalton’s Jackalope Campground. We stayed Monday 7-18 and Tuesday 7-19 nights. Full hookups that worked. Clean good pressure water. Stable electricity. AND, I needed a bunch of little plastic parts for the rig. Pocket door holder, curtain holder, window prop rod holder, some cone washers for my water pump and string to fix my pleated window shades….they had everything in stock and at a reasonable price. Great owners and staff. Friendly. Clean place. We WILL be back.

On June 18th we limped in Dalton's RV Center with a broken super slide. We had just had this slide repaired before we left home in Florida in late May but something had gone horribly wrong because it was giving us grief both going out and going back in. By the time we arrived, the slide would not work at all.
What a great company. They worked us into their very busy schedule and were able to diagnose the issue within a couple of days. Because of our schedule, we were not able to stay there long enough for them to order parts for us from LCI, but they certainly went out of their way to make sure we had the correct part numbers so that we could order the parts once we returned home. In the meantime, we are able to run with our slide in, so our trip has not been a bust. On top of that, Dalton's was more than fair on their cost to diagnose. In fact, when I looked at the invoice, I asked them if they were sure that they had recouped their cost.
I would highly recommend this company for RV repairs. They are dedicated, trustworthy and more than fair with their pricing. They treated us like we were part of their family and we will return there just to say Hi if we are ever in the area again.

Jackelope Campground/Dalton's RV are the best. This is our second year here and plan to come back next year. Jenna with Jackelope Campground is very accommodating, efficient and helpful. Dalton and Chari with Dalton's RV have been in the RV business well over 25 years, and their store carries many rv parts and supplies, very knowledgeable and helpful. The campgroumd is very clean and quiet and I love the onsite laundry! Would definitely recommend this business!

I was traveling home with my new RV and my TPMS "aftermarket and highly recommend" temperature and pressure started to increase letting me know I had an issue, stopped in and explained, got me in and less than 2 hrs had me on the road, cannot thank you enough..

I didn't realize they apparently don't sell RVs here anyone. The store was closed but the trailors looked like they were either stored there or parked like a camp ground.

Fantastic had hit some bad weather and damaged my camper took it in and reapaired it that day very talented and knowledgeable staff nice shower and laundry facility reasonable priced and down right friendly folks.

Dalton and his crew are FAB! I definitely recommend them. I was traveling through Sheridan and they helped me find a solution to a broken jack on my 5th wheel.

Had our camper furnace quite working in October, in the mountains. Took a couple days and a few parts but thanks to the folks at Daltons we fixed it. Mr Dalton was patient and explained everything step by step (at no charge) so we could fix it on our own. Jess and the rest of the crew made sure we were well taken care of. They saved the trip.

ROAD TRIP FROM PA HAD TROUBLE WITH A WHEEL BEARING CONTACTED JESSICA AND GOT AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT MORNING.WAS BACK ON THE ROAD RIGHT AFTER LUNCH. GREAT PEOPLE GREAT PRICE GREAT SERVICE

No doubt when you need a quick place to stay and need to push the reset button when you are 1,800 miles from home or 18 miles from home, Jackalobe Camping and Dalton's RV is a must stop! The owners and staff were beyond welcoming and the bathroom and laundry facilities are excellent. Just what our family needed for a couple days. Sheridan was a safehaven for us and the people were friendly and all welcoming!

Thanks to Mr. Dalton for fixing our water leak in our travel trailer on a late Friday afternoon! They have a large selection of parts for your RV needs....and since we were staying at his campground out back (called Jackalope CG), he came out to assist us and let us use his crimping tool. We could've been stranded waiting for a service call and gotten behind on our journey, but he took care of us!

They have a campground behind the shop with full service hookups. He has just came off the roof where he was on the phone with the AC manufacturer. Very nice to work with!!
Additional plus, we are in Sheridan so there are grocery stores and restaurants! Even a quilt store!

We were on a cross country road trip when our generator stopped working. With our 6 dogs in the motorhome, we had a problem! No air condition on a hot day! Dalton showed us the exact problem and we were able to correct it quickly at no cost. Sooo appreciated!!! They have a wonderful Rv Repair business in Sheridan, Wyoming and added a beautiful campground. Stop in to say Hello!!!

Dalton's has an amazing assortment of RV supplies. I was very impressed with the selection and the prices are extremely reasonable. They were very busy with customers and phone calls and still helped us with our needs and gave great advice. We WILL BE BACK!

Experienced Great costumer service ordering a part during the pandemic. Jess, was wonderful tracking it down. Always keeping me in the loop on the progress. There service is above and beyond! Were happing to be camping again.

I cannot say enough positive things about Dalton’s RV. I purchased my RV here, and they have done all of the service on it for me. They always complete every job with a smile, on time, and at a fair price. Additionally, any time I get a crazy idea of things to do or add to my camper, they are right there, ready to talk me through it. They have a large selection of parts on hand, and if they don’t have it, they will get it right away. You won’t find a nicer set of folks than the hardworking people at Dalton’s! This afternoon I went to go pick up my camper after getting some work done and Cassie had done an incredible job on all of the items I had asked them to complete. Additionally, she went out of her way to help me hook up in the lot, then when a fuse and fuse holder blew out in my jack (possibly because the lot is mildly haunted), she stood out in the sun and heat and traced it all back and got it all fixed and got me back on the road. Great RV shop and fantastic people! I would give them 10 stars if possible!

She be honest and tell people that they don't have time and I would not of wasted time and money by hauling it into them. I was told to bring RV in and they would look at furnace. Was there a total of 1 hr. Told can not fix it. Checked one part put it in and did not look any further even though it still did not work.I asked the guy to talk to the technician and he went in and came back and said was not able to speak to me. Asked the counter guy numerous questions as my daughter was living in this and no heat. He had no knowledge about anything and he should not of even attempt to act like he did. I did pay my bill and called after I then hauled to Douglas. Was fixed with a limit switch. Kept asking if they checked that.Simple fix. Called and talk to owner about my dissatisfaction and he said he would look it over and call me. Still know call. Would not recommend at all. Charged almost 400 dollars Should not tell someone to bring it in if not able to look at it.

Had some issues a little over a year ago with Dalton's, parts ordered never received, trailer sat on lot for couple months waiting for said parts. Finally just picked up trailer paid bill and never got a call back for parts. But to my surprise I got a message today from the nicest young lady from Dalton's, asking me about my 1 star review here. I explained everything, she transfered me to Dalton himself. They have gone above and beyond to fix the issues. Remind you, this experience was 11 months ago. They didn't have to respond, but they did. Refunded my payment and asked that I consider giving them another chance. Now that is people that care. They obviously didn't know about the absolutely rude employee they had many months ago. Thank you Jenne and Dalton for contacting me. I appreciate your attention and kindness. I'm just sorry I didn't get to talk to you the many many times I called about my problems. Believe me I tried. Thank you!!!!

We came in to Sheridan Wyoming from Grand Rapids Michigan with our class A 36 foot motorhome. We called Dalton’s RV Center for information where we could find a dump/fill site and about possible repairs on our brakes. It turned out that Dalton only services towable RVs, but he was completely welcoming us to use his dump/fill station. Beyond that, he probably spent 30 minutes or more of his own time trying to help us find a place that would service our class a large Motorhome for breaks. What a gentleman! What a wise businessman! Completely a pleasure to deal with. 10 out of 10 would recommend Dalton RV service in Sheridan Wyoming!

Wow! What service! Can’t ask for more than what Dalton and Sherry and the crew did for us. We had a blow out on our RV which also took out all the propane lines into our RV. We contacted them late in the day, they had us come in right away, had a hook up for us to stay the night at no charge and got us in for repair at 8AM THE VERY NEXT MORNING! Who does that? Their technician worked steady all morning into the afternoon getting us back up and on the road to our vacation.What fabulous service at a very decent price. You won’t be disappointed if you stop by and see this group!

First impressions, needed some estimate for damage to my rig,, Sherri was great,, helpful and basically the staff were all good,, Will the service manager was basically helpful,, where they lost me completely was when the owner told Will to take off my damaged awning,, the owner left,, Will did not want to be bothered,, it will take me 2 hours he initially said, no way I replied, I can take that off in 3 minutes I replied, they only reason its still there is because I’m on my own and want to be careful I dont hurt myself. OK he replied reluctantly,, but I’m going to to have to charge you,, $ 85 bucks later for 3 minutes work ,, I watched them ,, 2 guys, one pocket knife,, 3 minutes,, done,, 85 bucks,, sad to spoil a good customer interface by being cheap,, its cost them my business now on the repairs. Sorry Will,, poor show,

Super helpful team at Dalton's. We ran into RV issues and pulled into their shop at 430p. Even though they close at 5, the team didn't hesitate to help us. Couldn't give a more positive review.

I'm from Maryland and I was traveling in Montana during the Summer of 2019. We broke down from an accident (damaging the axle) and had to have both axles and all tires replaced. John (Service Manager)and the team treated us well. Few hick-ups with State Farm (and 3 months later..)but over all they fixed my trailer and was well going back home to Maryland. For this I would rate them with a 5!

Fast forward, April 21st, 2020, I uncovered my camper and went underneath to check everything and low and behold I found that one of the bolts holding the axle/spring assembly to the chassis is missing a nut, they did not replace all the spacers for this assembly and used shorter bolts than needed. I contact the new service manager Will about warranties for the work and have no response since them. For this I give them a 1!

In response to Jenna, Dalton's RV the Manager or owner NEVER called me back to discuss the issues with the trailer or the repairs from when I contacted them back in April. I did provide them with an email and photo's of the damage.

Today I receive a phone call from the Service Manager Will, asking me to forward a copy of the repair estimate (from the company back in Maryland), so that they can pay the repairs for the work that they did not complete properly from 2019. The only reason (I feel) that they responded back is due to State Farm getting involved and the company in Maryland proving that they did not complete the work correctly.

I will revise my rating of Dalton's RV to a 3 (from a 1), because you made good on the repairs and it did not cost me any out-of-pocket monies. You did not make good on the "We will contact you" nor did you do the work correctly the first time. My family and I had to miss out on earlier camping trips this year (April through mid June) and this is not something that you can obtain compensation for....but chock it up to a learning experience.

Dalton's RV thank you for doing-right in the do-right zone!
