I applied for a job here and was given an interview a week later. I was then told I would get called back on Friday. Week goes by no call I went back in 4 times and each time I was told I would get a call back from the manager by the manger whose name is Trulen Cates. I then found out from someone else who worked there I wasn’t going to get hired rather than the actual manager call me back.
This morning I left the house at 7:30 got to the store in Orofino and hour and 20 minutes later to buy a zero turn mower. I wrote a business check for the purchase and it was declined because I have never wrote a check there before. I make the purchase with my debit card and then go out to load up the mower and the mower won't start. So they provide another battery, i find the tools in my truck and switch out the battery and still won't start. The manager grabs another battery out of another mower and still nothing. I ask if he could have one shipped to me and he says we could cancel the order and order online and I would have to pay about $500.00 for shipping. I told him just refund my money.
We go inside and he tells me I will have to wait for them to mail me a check for the refund of about $3600.00 I about flipped my lid and told him he better get the refund back on my card and it had better be quick!!! After waiting another 30-40 minutes corporate who he was on the phone with made a way to get the return back on my card. In the meantime time I had to listen to a young girl who was working there tell me all about her troubles as if they compared to mine. I swear there was something in the water there!
I finally got home at 12:40 empty handed no mower on the trailer and the experience with the manager and that young girl was more than I could handle!
The only good thing I can say is the other lady who was there helping was nice and I think she was even embarrassed by the other 2.
I will never step foot in that store again!
They need to hire competent people.
O' SWEAT Billy... your smile, your serious attenchen to customer service, & your goofy presence on welcoming customers at the orofino location. Will be missed. Appreciate you opening up this location. Corporate should see how much ethical value you are to Tractor Supply Co. Keep on hammering down, Billy.
