I stopped by Tractor Supply Co. on South Washington Street in Afton on the morning of July 21, 2025, mainly to refill propane for my RV. The staff here were genuinely friendly and quick to help—someone came out to the propane station almost immediately after I let them know I was waiting outside. It’s worth noting that the process does require two trips inside: once to request service and again to pay, but the employees made it as smooth as possible and seemed used to helping travelers. The parking lot is wide enough for easy RV access, which can be a challenge in other locations, especially in small towns like Afton.
Inside, the store was well-organized and clean. Tractor Supply Co. has a reputation for carrying a range of rural supplies, and this location was no exception—there were displays of pet food, livestock gear, and garden tools.
Overall, I found the service to be straightforward and efficient. I didn’t experience any issues during my visit and would return if I’m in the area again, particularly for RV needs or propane refills. This spot is ideal for RV travelers, ranchers, or anyone in need of quick farm and ranch supplies in a small-town setting.
I’m from outta town and the girl at the register was so nice and helpful!! (This was my 3rd place I went to, to try and find a glue gun) Found everything I needed plus more haha
