Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning - Sterling, VA

This is the worst company ever! They do an OK job on guitar cleaning, but they are expensive and their communication is terrible. The only advance notice you get is a text message saying their technician will be there "in a few minutes to a few hours." Then you will be harassed constantly with phone calls, text messages and emails telling you "their technician found a problem," as they try to sell you additional services you don't need. I canceled their service once before, and then switched to. competitor only to discover that competitor had just been acquired by Ned Stevens. When my annual contract is up I'm going to find a local independent.

Jefrey and his team did an amazing job cleaning gutters and downspouts and advising us on repairs that need making. They cleaned up all the debris and were very professional! I highly recommend them!!

Terrible service and quality. Missed identifying an improperly installed drip edge after I asked them to inspect it multiple times. Canceled my services and got a proper gutter cleaner who fixed the issue right away. Then a year later Ned’s starting showing up again unannounced and tried to charge me for it.

Elizabeth who i contacted to findout about the gutter cleaning service was very professional very nice and knew what she was talking about and sold me on the service!
The gentleman that showed upto do the work were well trained and did a good job.

I have a 2 story house. A 2 man crew came in quickly set up latter and hose removed-debris took pics to show results after cleaning. Very satisfied with results

The two-person crew, Edwin and Darwin did a superb job on the gutters - checked all the underground pipes as well and identified a potentially serious issue on the top of the chimney

We appreciated the two technicians who were knowledgeable and professional. They did a thorough job in clearing our gutters and downspouts.

Did not like the fact that they didn't call me or notify me a day before coming to service my gutters as a reminder like i ask them to. Just a text to me five minutes out. Wish i had more of a notice. Even when they rang my doorbell they could have called me then but nothing. Unfortunately, i was not able to be there to discuss what
problems i was having with my roof/ gutters in terms of leaks and so forth nor do i know what they actually did when they were here. Just frustrating that there was no communication or heads up about anything. They just popped up and sent me a bill....shm

The team arrived and cleaned the gutters and left no sign of being there, other than the door hanger. Great and reliable service!

The initial contact was straightforward, the costs clear, and I was happy they could get going on the gutter cleaning almost immediately. There was no hard sell, they followed-up to see that I was satisfied, and I think they did a great job.

Our gutters had literal plants growing in them before our service! Technicians were prompt, clean and respectful got the job done quickly! Well worth the money!

Our service rep AJ is always thorough about getting our car checked out. All work was done in time frame that he gave us. He’s always pleasant and courteous to us. We have used NS for years. They notify you before arriving, get right to work and work quickly. They do a good job and usually clean up well afterward. I would recommend their service.

We had estimator come and give us a quote on replacing gutters. It was agreed that we would pay 1/3 deposit and that Ned's would come the next week to only remove the gutters as we wanted painters an opportunity to repair / repaint facia behind new gutters. We would schedule new gutters install after painters were done. Estimator said he'd send quote/contract the next day.

Week goes by and nothing. No contract, no call to schedule gutter removal, no return call from office when I called to ask about contract and schedule.

The next week comes. I leave the house to help a buddy move. I come home and there are new gutters on the house!!!!

Zero communication and bungled job! It hasn't rained since new gutters so I don't know if they work or not but based upon efficiency of prior interactions I don't have a good feeling.

Edit: (post "response from the owner"...) A cookie-cutter response? Is that the best you, the owner, can do? No, I don't think I'll be "reaching out to" you based upon the results and your, in my mind, a care-less response.

Neds crew came out to do my gutter cleanings. I will say they are very efficient and cleaned up after them selves. Will def sign up for the quarterly cleanings like he recommends.

NED did an outstanding job cleaning my windows, siding and gutters. They were very professional and cleanup all of the debris from the gutters. Definite a great choice hiring NED.

Gutter cleaning was fine but instead of taking two large very heavy bags of debris with them, they left them on my curb where the trash company said I would have to pay extra to have them removed. I called Ned’s and told them they would have to come back and remove them. I was very disappointed.

The service is always thorough and complete. During a recent session, they noticed I had a defective section in one of my gutters and repaired it this week. My grandson inspected the defective section and could not repair it even though he has significant experience. He inspected the work and reviewed it very favorably, stopped a leak I was having in the garage.

Outstanding! Jose and his team (3 people) showed up and were friendly, professional and thorough. I had my siding, fence, patio and gutters cleaned and they did a fantastic job. Everyone I interacted with from getting an estimate to scheduling was focused on making sure they exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend!

I took a leap of faith and signed up for the Service Plan. The BEST decision. Ned Stevens is reliable, efficient and knowledgeable. The servicing staff are great plus they offered suggestions for improvements to my gutter’s operation. I am very happy with their service.

They notified me when they were coming. I wasn't home so I was pleasantly, pleasantly surprised when I got. home and checked my gutters. Just so happened it started raining. Everything worked as it should. It's great when you get a job done well. I'd recommend you guys to anyone without reservations.

Workers were efficient and expedient in the gutter cleaning. However, I did not know they were here until I heard them on my roof. Should have rung doorbell to acknowledge their presence as they have done in the past. Also, should have been given more advanced notice of when they were scheduled to arrive, not receive a text 5 minutes beforehand.

Two man team showed up and went straight to work. They did a very thorough cleaning of the gutters and downspouts by running water through all downspouts. I was very pleased with my choice of Ned's Home for this service.

The service itself is excellent. The gutter cleaning is done professionally and efficiently. They could do better in providing notice that they are coming for quarterly visits and announcing themselves though.

My gutters had become clogged and were overflowing. I reached out to make an appointment and someone responded to me almost immediately to let me know that they had received my request. I received a follow up call to explain the cost, options, and service that would be performed. Best of all, I did not need to be home. The crew showed up and was courteous and quick! They banged it out in now time. I did not sign up for the annual service plan, but only because there aren't a lot of trees near my house. Otherwise I would have. Regardless, I plan on using Ned's again in the future.

Such an easy and quick service! They cleaned 2 yard bags of recycled tree material out of my gutters! You would have never know they were here except for the 2 yard waste bags left at my curb. I would highly recommend Ned’s!!

It took a while to get a crew to the house due to rainy weather but it was worth the wait. The team worked fast and did an excellent job. I couldn't have been happier.

They came and cleaned out my dryer vent on the roof of my house. 2 men came out and did the job and then blew the roof and my front porch and driveway. Very friendly professional job.

Sounds like a broken record but these guys do an exceptional job every time. The Ned Stevens crew are the best - they get every leaf from the gutters and clean up the debris. You can't go wrong with Ned Stevens gutter cleaning !

Powerwash done was good — only concern was the solution sprayed on windows and front /deck entrance doors left residue on windows and in keyhole on doors (was difficult to insert house key——used some WD40 lubricant which seem to help. Thx again

So, my Dryer vent cleaning service was canceled due to the them saying I had a birds nest in the Dryer vent. I called a wildlife company to come to remove the birds nest and they just reported to me that there actually was no birds nest. He said there was a little bit of debris as if a bird had started one, but she didn’t get very far. He said it was all lint and that the Dryer vent company should’ve been able to get that out, (which was the point of the cleaning). So, there was no active or inactive birds nest. The wildlife service costs ~$498. Wasted money.
