The team did an outstanding job! They made my siding, walkway, and old decks look brand new. I was truly amazed of the transformation of our dirty decks into decks that looked brand new. I wish I had photos to post of before and after their work. Highly recommend.

Too focused on making sales, locking you into contracts, instead of customer service.

Initial call was mostly a sales pitch. Three weeks go by, no initial service, so I reached out via email. No response, so I called to cancel the initial service. To his credit, Carlos the rep did offer to schedule service in a few days and offer a small discount, but I wanted to cancel and wasn’t interested in a fix. They should’ve handled it right the first time. Carlos kept trying to close deals with rambling sales pitches so much that I had to interrupt him, tell him to please stop with the sales pitches, and just cancel my service request.

This company seems more interested in making sales than actually cleaning gutters.

The scripted, not really responding to the comments message posted by the vendor only reinforced the perception their customer service people are regurgitating generic corporate talking points instead of having a real customer-focused conversation.

I contacted Ned’s home to schedule a gutter cleaning, and after a week and a half, I received various different answers on a timeframe for my service. I would understand if they told me upfront it would be a certain amount of time until they could come to my house, but it was different every time I called. The original time I called to schedule, they didn’t include part of the service I had requested in the booking. Very disappointed.

I hired them for a gutter cleaning and they did an excellent job. My roof hasn't looked that clean in years.

They left my fence gate unlatched and my dogs could have easily gotten out. When I called to complain they refused to let me talk to a local manager and insisted that I could speak only with their call center.

I've used Ned's for a while now and was reasonably happy. Then they came last week and, as a matter of habit, I checked my gate after they left and found that they had sort of pushed my fence gate shut but did not latch it. As I was standing there looking at it a gust of wind came up and blew the gate wide open. Had it blown open 5 minutes earlier my dogs would have been gone. I have told Ned's that I have dogs that are often in the back yard and that it is of paramount importance to close the gate properly. If they somehow found the gate latch confusing (which would stun me), they should have asked me.

Today I called to complain and asked to speak with a local manager. They told me that managers like that do not take phone calls and that the call center would take my complaint and "put it on file." Yes, that's actually what they said.

I appreciated the job they did on my gutters, but not closing my gate is an unpardonable sin - made worse by telling me I could only talk to a call center.

We had the roof and siding cleaning done this week. The roof looks brand new and all the water marks have been removed. The team did an amazing job and we will definitely be contacting Ned Stevens again.

They did a good job getting my gutters clean. The problem I had with a company is they arrived without notifying me and then blocked my cars by parking in my driveway. When I asked them to move to get out of the way, they told me my cars would not get anything on them and convinced me, they did not need to move their truck. Long story short, I had to take both cars to a car wash, and one of them still has issues with spots on the windows/paint from whatever they dumped on my car. Those are pictures of what was left on my car after I tried to scrub it off myself with hose and rag. You will not be back to my house.

Great experience with Ned’s. We inquired about services for deck pressure washing and window cleaning and received a quick response and fair quote. The team came the next morning (two weeks ahead of when they said they were available) and did an excellent job. We will use them again and recommend to others

The team arrived on time and acted professionally. They cleaned gutters and dryer vent. Did their best by not damaging garden near the dryer vent. I did object to how they used hoses when on roof cleaning gutters. Force of hose spray caused water to fly on all windows front and back and into neighbors yard on both sides of my townhome. The team leader responded to my objections quickly and used blower to dry windows. While i appreciated his response, please note this never happened with previous gutter cleaning company.

Ned Stevens has been taking care of my gutters for 10 years. They are fast and professional. I just had them replace a section of gutters across the rear of the house. They do first class work.

Last Tuesday, your crew found that a 40' section of gutter in the back of our house had been damaged in a wind storm. On Thursday, another of your crews replaced it -- all under your Gutter Protection plan! The quick service was important as that gutter section is vital to moving water away from our basement and rain is forecast for the coming weekend. This experience only confirms our past satisfaction with your team's efforts over the [past 20 + years.

House looks great. They cleaned roof, siding, & windows. Would have given 5 stars but they busted a screen from an upstairs window. The workers acknowledged it happened. I called and was told to get an estimate. Now we will see how difficult it is to get reimbursement for the replacement screen. This will tell us if we stay with Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning.

Gutters tended by pro’s. Notified in advance of arrival, 2 man team showed up when expected. Did the job leaving the property cleaner than they found it after clearing my gutters of autumn leaves while clearing the roof as well. Well worth the price for someone beyond making rooftop adventures!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
