"The labor warranty was only two years. They don't repair.",
"We found leaks at two sides of the house, in the ceiling below the joints of the 1st-floor roof and 2nd-floor siding areas.",
"There were concerns that the joints must have been done incorrectly.",
"Some companies didn't provide any literature.",
"We called several other roofing companies, and

Integrity rooting has been GREAT to deal with, they followed up everything they told me and clean up was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone. Great people to do business with.

I got roof quotes from seven different companies and made a spreadsheet to compare all the quotes and companies but there were a few things that led me to Integrity Roofing LLC.
1. No high pressure sales. They actually came over when I was at work and left me the quote with a brochure of materials for me to look at when I had time. I called back and discussed the quote and was never pressured to choose them as my roofing company. Some companies didn't provide any literature. It was quoted when they visited and I didn't have to remind I was waiting for a price quote like I had to do with other companies.
2. Mark was very responsive when I texted to ask different questions. Integrity Roofinghad good reviews online.
3. There was the quote and then optional services priced separately so you could see how much other services cost. For example I saw how much extra a ridge vent would be to install. The quote price was good for 60 days. Some companies said their price was good for 1 week. I wasn't pressured to make a quick decision.
4. Integrity Roofing LLC has been in business for 29 years which is listed on the BBB website and they also have their accreditation. No other company I got quoted had been in business that long.
5. They are a local small business company a few miles away and gave a reasonable competitive quote.
6. They did not require any payment up front.
7. Mark came over in the evening so I didn't have to take off work to go over questions I had and sign the contract. Mark was friendly and knowledgeable. My dad was there and we talked about a drip edge around the roof edge and that wasn't something that Mark and I talked about but Mark added that at no extra cost.
8. I had a pre-planned day off and even though they were booking out a few weeks he was able to schedule me for the day I had already requested off of work.
9. The materials were delivered to my house 2 days before the job and set in the driveway and not on the roof. It's not good to have that extra weight on your roof.
10. They actually went on the roof to inspect it and gave a price. I had some companies come over who didn't even go on the roof.
11. I do not have plywood for my roof, just boards. Nothing was said about what type of decking I had for my roof. One company tried to tell me that if the spacing was too far away between my roof boards that they might have to redeck the entire roof with plywood and that would cost several thousand dollars more.
12. Since I live on a busy street with a lot of traffic I negotiated getting an extended warranty at a discounted price for displaying their roofing yard sign for a month.
13. I was not expected to pay the day the job was completed. Mark came over 4 days later to pick up the check.
14. During the tear off it was discovered I had 2 layers of shingles to remove but the crew of 8-10 people was able to get the roof done in 1 day in my ranch house. No extra cost for the 2nd layer to remove. The crew did a good job on the clean up.
15. I asked for their business insurance certificate and it was emailed to me.

Pricing was competitive, workers were careful and pleasant, and the work was completed efficiently and well. I was especially impressed with the clean up process - the area around the house was left debris-free.
I would use Integrity Roofing again for any home project.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
