Crown Exteriors does high quality work, and if there is a problem, they will fix it. I highly recommend them. They did a great job replacing the siding and roof on my house.

Do not recommend they were very unprofessional and dont plan on working with them again. Cory was the first person I spoke with which was ok until he left the company just telling me he would pass the job on to somone else I had never met. This new guy I talked with him just a few times but he would not keep me updated and even said he did not know much and could not come to see the house himself even though he was in state. My insurance kept asking for fotos and updates but they would not provide them due to their lack of attention and bad customer service. This got very annoying since its a lot of money for not being able to simply do their job

My experience with Crown was nothing short of spectacular. The Sales/Corporate team was friendly and organized. The project manager and installers (Roof, Siding, Gutters) were timely, friendly and proficient. I highly (and have already) recommended Crown.

Our experience with Crown exteriors had a few challenges along the way, but what impressed me most was how they handled it. Rather than brushing it off, their team reached out directly, took ownership and made a real effort to resolve the issue. That kind of follow-through and integrity is rare these days. Crown Exteriors replaced my roof. I worked with Preston to set up the job. He was great from start to finish with all my requests and questions. Noah, the site director, and his crew were also fantastic, even shoveling my driveway when the weather prevented them from doing the work!

I recently had Crown Exteriors replace my roof, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From start to finish, they were professional, punctual, and detail-oriented. The team led by Eric Otto took the time to explain the entire process and answer all my questions, making me feel confident in their expertise. Being a new homeowner with little to no experience in filing for claims, Eric spent time helping me to get the initial claim with my homeowner insurance.
When the insurance adjuster came to inspect the roof, half of the roof was approved but the area covering the garage was excluded with a claim that there was no hail damage noted. The Crown Exteriors team took on the case and provided insurance with supporting documents on why the entire roof needed to be approved.
The quality of their work is outstanding—the roof looks amazing, and they left the area spotless after completing the job. I was particularly impressed by their efficiency; the project was completed on time.

I called Parker feeling much frustration about how the first company I had been working with was treating my insurance adjuster. With professionalism and great care, Parker helped me understand my options. When I chose to switch to Parker and Crown Exteriors, the transition was smooth.

Parker worked through many nuances of this older home (trim boards needed adjusting, new decking was needed to ensure the shingles would install correctly which insurance did cover then, and I can't remember all the other things) and yet kept it simple for me! I'm not sure this attention to detail would have happened with the first company I was talking to who seemed to be more of a desktop sales agent. Thank you, Parker!

Had a leak in the roof. They came out 4 times trying to fix it, leak still there every time. Communication was bad. They just kind of left the first time and I wasn't sure if they were done or what was going on. Rained after that and leak still going strong. Overall, not a great experience. I just got an estimate from another roofer and he showed me photos where they used silicon caulk where you're not supposed to and other attempts at patching that I'm going to have to pay to have removed. So it sucks that I wasted 300 on a repair attempt, but its going to end up costing even more.

Quick and great repairs to a dormer. Working with old homes can always be "interesting" and they handled those twists perfectly. The whole process of getting a bid to scheduling and finish to close things out was so easy. The cleanup amazing.

The chase siding around our chimney was over 30 years old. The siding was beginning to rot and woodpeckers were constantly drilling new holes in it. We reach out to multiple vendors and found Crown Exteriors to be the most responsive and cost effective.

A sales representative met us on site and helped us select a custom color that matched our existing exterior. We went with the James Hardie collection as it is made of a Fiber cement and would be impervious to water and future pests. The following month, our custom siding arrived, and the team promptly came out for installation. The installation team was extremely professional. In taking down the old siding, they did find rotted boards underneath and replaced them with new plywood. They also added a new insolation wrap that had not been used in the original construction. Finally, the did an excellent job cleaning up the job site after their work.

The work they did was amazing. Honestly, the new siding looked better that our original siding. We did have an issue with the color match and Crown volunteered to pay for a professional painter to match our existing siding.

Overall, the Crown team was extremely responsive. The quality of labor and materials were top notch. I highly recommend that you consider Crown for your future project needs.

Great experience with Crown Exteriors for our roof and gutter replacement. They were responsive and helped us navigate our insurance claim very well. When issues came up with insurance they helped resolve them quickly. Very happy with the work and our new roof/gutters!

We approached Crown Exteriors at a St. Paul Saints game, mostly because we wanted free Saints bucks, but also because we were interested in fixing our gutters. They sent Roman out to give us an estimate, and when he arrived, he documented damage from a previous storm that he thought would qualify for a new roof with our homeowners insurance. We decided to move forward with the claim, it was approved, and Crown completed the re-roofing on August 8th and 9th. While the job itself appears to be fine, the communication has and continues to be poor. Our initial rep (Roman) was let go from the company, and we were re-assigned to Zach. We had no knowledge of this until Roman ghosted us and I called the main number. Since the job was completed in August, I have called and emailed and texted for weeks (both Zach, the main number, and another rep whose information we have) regarding the final inspection with the city and the final payment, which we have on hand to give to them. We were given the same information each time (if we were able to reach anyone), "we're working on it and yes, we'll send a link for the final payment." Then, crickets. No response. Today I called the city myself and found out that Crown did schedule the inspection. They sent in pictures of the underlayment on September 5th and the inspection date was sent to them at that time, but not one person from Crown has communicated that to us. At this point, at least that is on the books. As for their final payment, perhaps this review will prompt them to actually reach out regarding it as I'm done trying to communicate with this company.

Was looking for some repairs to my gutter system so I checked around and seen this company did that according to their website. They initially sent the wrong person who wanted to climb up on my roof to bid a new one? Second gentleman reviewed the issues, but ultimately sent a quote for 10k to replace gutters, fascia and soffit.... when I inquired for just the repairs they told me they didnt do that. Waste of everyones time, they appear to have used my repair inquiry to bid a large job, and subsequently told me to find another company for the repairs.

Neng here. Worse company I have called for service. For many businesses the initial contact are always nice then it goes downhill after you've paid to get work started. Avoid this contractor.

They sent a guy name Zach out to give us a quote in an unmarked car who was having problems with his device while working on our quote. Paid deposit on their pay site 7/29/24 (they don't tell you there's a $50 convenience fee).
I heard nothing from them for 8 business days. I emailed them on 8/9/24 and they scheduled us for 8/14/24, then claimed they were backed-up and had to reschedule for 8/19/24 but they never called or showed up so I went to their office and spoke to 2 people about getting my deposit back and they finally scheduled us for 8/20/24 and the crew came.

It wouldn't have been a big deal if they didn't lack communication and unconcerned about their customer. So much for having 6 core values. Integrity, advocacy, transparency, & accountability definitely isn't their values to us. Maybe they pick and choose which customer/s they want to prioritize and which ones to take advantage of.

I recently had my roof and my siding replaced and the crews were very respectful and they had amazing communication and handled everything with care I would 10 out of 10 recommend crown exteriors

I called them thinking I needed serious work on a section of my covered gutters, because it was overflowing. Devin came out and found that I simply had some roofing debris from 3 years ago blocking my downspout. The gutter is working great again now.

I wasn’t charged for the visit. I will definitely call them again if ever a problem with my home exterior comes up.

Subcontractor crew was very thorough and detailed on my fascia/soffit project and Atzel Vargas with Crown Exteriors is a very knowledgeable and personable project manager.

Crown Exteriors put a new roof and gutters on our home. Their attention to detail, protection of the home and keeping the area spotless after the completion of the project was second to none. I would use them again.

Very pleased with Crown Exteriors. They knocked on my door after a hail storm and I assumed they were just storm chasers. Ended up getting multiple opinions and quotes but found Crown easiest to work with. No issues with my new roof two years later

I have so much bad experience with this company they took deposit October last year I got told before paying the deposit once I make the deposit they will schedule the work and it will get done within a month after the deposit taking but they never show up or contact me or schedule me until 2 days ago and at this point I I had to ask for my deposit refund not recommend them for all don't waste your time!!!!

ORIGINAL: I would like to leave a review on Crown's work; unfortunately, they did not give me the opportunity to do so, so I will instead leave a review on their communication.

Crown were quick to respond to my initial quote request in December and set a time with me to come out and view the damage and quote repairs. An hour after the agreed time, when no one had shown up, I called and was told that the tech had left me multiple voicemails (I had no voicemails). I was given the tech's number to reach out and was told that the phone number they had been given by the office was incorrect (unsure how this happened as when I initially called the call-taker repeated my phone number back multiple times, as well as my email address, but I was willing to give the benefit of the doubt).

After that had been worked out and the tech arrived and had taken a look, they told us a quote would be sent by email, that it would typically take 2-3 days but being the holiday season may take a little longer (understandable).

We have, to this date, not received a quote from Crown Exteriors. I called about a week and a half after the initial quote to follow up and was told that it wasn't a straightforward quote, that the tech needed to speak to someone else and that person was out of the office. Again, understandable, but going on a month later and compounded with the other communication issues, my good faith is gone. I'm glad so many people have had a good experience with Crown, but it wasn't reflected in mine.

Very pleased with Crown Exteriors. I had a very toublesome leak that they returned multiple times to study and repair. I appreciate their stick to it attitude to finally get issue resolved. Job well done!

Excellent experience with Crown Exteriors. Chase Montgomery was so efficient, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive. The roof and gutter job was done very timely and looks great. He took care of the whole insurance process and went back to them when we had questions. We highly recommend Crown Exteriors!

Would rather a more professional crew that doesn't leave a mess all around the yard(NAILS and trash). Hire better workers but hey at least they cleaned it up....almost two seasons after the repair. I'm still finding nails on my yard, almost like someone was on the roof just chucking them away from the house. Tried local next time I'll Go commercial.

Crown exteriors used one of the best rated shingles to replace my roof after a hail storm. They worked with me to find a time that worked on my schedule to do the work and were easy to communicate with. My entire roof was replaced in one day. I recommend them.

We contacted Crown to look at our roof in the Summer of 2022 after receiving hail damage. We also had them investigate a water leak from a patio door. We contacted multiple contractors and they either wouldn’t return our calls or couldn’t figure out the issue with the water leak. Crown took on the task of fixing the water leak and was able to fix the issue in 2022. The roof took much longer due to our insurance (State Farm) only initially approving a partial roof replacement. Crown dealt with State Farm stubbornness and were finally able to convince them that replacing some shingles wasn’t going to match the existing ones. After the replacement was approved, they were able to complete the work on the roof right away. Noah was great to work with and the work Bryan did on the patio door exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Crown Exteriors.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience working with David and the roofing crew. David answered all our questions and helped us work with our insurance. The roof was done in one day. We appreciated the follow up to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction.

My original review below (some of which I removed) of Crown Exteriors was pretty harsh. Our project had multiple issues and miscommunication. Crown Exteriors has assured me that they are putting processes in place and making improvements to avoid the issues we had. They've already made sure their communications will be more streamlined and clear an their services will be more consistent and accurate. Whether it's replacement from storm damage, working with a difficult insurance company, or owning and correcting their own mistakes, Crown Exteriors will do everything they can to help the homeowner. Crown Exteriors is a young company, but their leadership and employees have years of industry experience. Even with everything that happened with our project, I still think you should give Crown Exteriors a chance. They're good, honest people.

It's hard for me to review Crown Exteriors. Did they work through insurance pains with us for over a year? Yes. Did our roof and siding get replaced eventually? Yes, and it looks great. However there seemed to be a lot of disorganization on their side.

We may be an outlier. Sometimes things just don't go right, but I feel that Crown Exteriors could have done a better job in a few areas.

Did Crown Exteriors ultimately rectify most of these things? Yes. There are some good people that work there, and they were quick to try and rectify any issues we had, but I feel like Crown Exteriors could have been more organized and prepared to avoid most or all of our issues.

Matt Royce did an excellent job in getting our roof replacement approved by our insurance company. They initially declined the replacement in Oct, 2022. Matt stayed on top of the situation and finally got the insurance company to approve the roof replacement in Dec, 2022. Matt continued to keep us informed on the next steps required to get our roof replaced and following our return from our winter location the roof was successfully replaced in May, 2023. Roman and the installation crew did an excellent job removing the old shingles and putting on the new shingles less than 8 hours. Matt followed up to make sure we were 100% pleased with the new roof and rechecked to make sure the clean-up was completed to our satisfaction.

We are 100% pleased with the roof replacement job by Crown Exteriors and all the people involved in this operation.

We had our roof replaced by Crown a year ago and it was a very pleasant experience. They did a great job and it was all handled very quickly. I really appreciate the work that Crown Exteriors did on my Mom's roof. From the first contact with them everything was done very professionally. Had windows replaced from storm damage. Danny and John were always available and quick to respond to questions. Windows were backordered and there was supplier issues (not their fault) but crown made sure they got and did exactly what we wanted and we were always kept up to date on the status. Very happy.

Crown was excellent to work with and helped a ton with sorting everything out with our insurance company. The finished product was great and our roof replacement was a pain-free process. They even ensured that the gutter guards we had recently installed before the roof was replaced were reinstalled.

Crown exteriors is truly amazing! We had hail move through our neighborhood and had several companies knock on our door. I do not know what was different about the representative from Crown exteriors, but we figured what the heck we would give it a try! They did not have very many reviews and I was ridiculously skeptical our neighbors even thought we were crazy for moving forward with an (at the time) unproven, new storm damage exterior company.

We are SOOOO GLAD they knocked on our door! John, Danny and Richard are amazing to work with. John did all of the pre-work and showed up to every inspection to ensure a positive outcome with the insurance adjusters. Danny was phenomenal at making sure every single trade did what was expected and made sure they and we had everything we needed. Richard was so responsive when we had questions. Every single trade that worked on our home was clean, professional, on time and a true pleasure to work with!
