Legacy Exteriors LLC

We had used Legacy Exteriors to replace our roof at the end of 2019. We immediately started losing shingles and have lost shingles every year since. We have repeatedly reached out to Legacy Exteriors with no response. We had our insurance company come out to assess the damage. We were told that the roof was installed wrong and would need to reach out to Legacy Exteriors. Our roof needs to be fixed ASAP and Legacy Exteriors has ghosted us. I have filed a complaint with the BBB. I would not recommend Legacy Exteriors to anyone. Customer service and communication are key for any business...this is something that Legacy Exteriors does not care about! If I could give zero stars, I would. Beware!

Legacy Exteriors (Case Arkell and Dan Sedlacek) really went to bat for me in dealing with my insurance company. In short, a hail claim for roofing was approved for spots to “repair”, not a full replacement. Total mismatch on shingles where repairs were made. Even after denial on mismatch shingles, Case diligently worked with the insurance company and got the rest of the roof covered. Throughout, it was all business, customer focus, professionalism, and open communication. They’re definitely not storm chasers at Legacy, and the work and effort they put into this job proved it. Highly recommended!!

My roof leaked and even though the owner and his worker did the water test which failed immediately they refused to take responsibility for the repair of my badly damaged ceiling an walls. Dan was abrasive and I made many calls before he finally responded and said they would do nothing. It still failed after initial repair.

We had used Legacy Exteriors in the past to have our storm damaged roof replaced. When we had a hail storm in May 2022, I called them again. Dan and his team did a fantastic job fixing our house and garage. They replaced both roofs and the siding in a timely and professional manner. We were the first house restored on our street and the job was on budget. Highly recommended.

Dan and his crew put new siding, soffit and fascia on our home. Not only were they detailed in their workmanship, Dan was very attentive during the process. I highly recommend Dan and his crew for your exterior needs! Beautiful work plus excellent customer service!

After sustaining hail damage to our home, Legacy Exteriors did an excellent job managing the extensive repair project (roofing, siding, gutters, etc.). They worked with our insurance and we couldn't be happier with the customer service, quality of the work, and professional crews. It was a large project and Legacy took care of everything. Grayson made the process of getting a new roof very easy. He handled it professionally and was able to explain the process so that understood what I needed to do in between each step.

It's been an ongoing issue since the hail storm last June. They said they'd take care of everything but made many assumptions that I've had storm claims before. My roof was replaced the only week I asked them not to do it because of our wedding, but caved because of their over scheduling issues. I didn't hear from them again for months so called about our broken window. Apparently that was our responsibly but they offered to replace it. Some obnoxious guys showed up, ripped out the trim, left and didn't return. Months later they called, by that time I had called someone else. After a few phone calls where they blamed me for things, I have given up and have learned my lesson the hard way about dealing/trusting contractors. I am rather disappointed since they came highly recommended by a co-worker.

A hail storm hit my elderly mothers neighborhood. The Legacy team took care of her roof, her neighbors, and another neighbors windows and roof in Burnsville Minnesota. The communication, customer service and delivery of set expectations was above and beyond what was expected. I would recommend to any friends or family. They made a super unfortunate situation seamless and took the headache of home damage. Thanks Legacy team!!
