Matt Prokosch, our sales rep with Buildtec did a great job working with our insurance company State Farm. Our claim was initially denied but Matt's persistence and professionalism helped get our twin apartment buildings approved for new roofs and more!
Once the project was handed over to the crew the job went off without a hitch. All my areas of concern were addressed beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend working with Matt and the team and Buildtec

Replaced a very old asphalt shingle roof as well as replaced some of the decking on our 1970s home. Solid work, cleanup, and communication.

6.2023 I cannot begin to express how thankful we are for everyone at Buildtec Contracting. Each person we had contact with from the initial call for an estimate, our sales rep Keith Morris, and the AMAZING install teams...we could not be happier with the entire process. It was so easy to schedule a day/time that worked for at least one of us to be home for Keith to come by and give us an idea of what to expect since ours was going to be an insurance claim. He explained exactly what we needed to do and it kept things moving extremely smoothly. Keith was professional, patient, knowledgable, and prompt. Each meeting, phone call or text was handled in a manner that made us feel extremely comfortable about anything that was going on. Next contact was with the roofing installers who were professional, prompt, and a fun group to have at our home. They worked cohesively and got the project done in an amazing amount of time without making us feel as if they were hurrying. Keith stopped by and took a look at the work and checked in with us to be sure we had no issues...which we didn't. Next up was the siding team and they were just as AMAZING as the roofing team. They were all professional, today, and again a fun group to have here. Both teams did multiple sweeps to be sure there was no debris left and made sure we were happy with the work before they left. Keith stopped by again to see the final project, check in on us, and to reaffirm that if anything should come up to not hesitate to call them!! Thank you Buildtec for such AMAZING experiences and having such employees that go above and beyond to be sure you are happy!! Keep up the GREAT work!!

Great management, they're so organized and honest, i always had the support that i needed, fair payment, the equipment is incredible, they really care about the drivers, i couldn't wish a better company to work with.

Excellent service! Jordan from Buildtec is the best, very attentive and intelligent guy, he helped me a lot throughout my roof replacement, Jordan gave me the advice to change the color of the shingl, and it was the best choice, it really went best than what i expected, and his crew is very organized, they cleaned everything after the service, i totally recommend it.

Met with Luke in August 2021 and paid him in full to redo our roof after some storm damage. For a year we called every month or so asking when the roof would be done, very rarely did anyone call us back and when they did they gave us estimates for the job that were not met. Eventually, just before the year we had from our homeowners insurance to complete the job, we were told buildtec was subcontracting out the job to another firm. That firm never received the over 9000 dollars we had given buildtec, and we are now being sent bills for that amount.

They are nearly impossible to get in contact with and lied to us repeatedly about when the job would be done, always "in just a few weeks" The fact that they haven't paid their subcontractors with the money we paid them is disgraceful.

Do not use this service unless you want to get ripped off.

We worked with Erick Vega of Buildtec to replace our roof after last spring's storm damage. Erick was professional and responsive. Our roof looks great. The crew thoroughly cleaned up the yard after the roof was installed. Erick worked directly with our insurance company to move the process along, and once approved, he went above and beyond to accommodate our scheduling preference. We reached out to other companies prior to meeting Erick, and the responsiveness did not compare. We appreciated Erick's prompt communication and good service and would recommend him and Buildtec to anyone in need of a new roof.

Erick Vega made the roof replacement process easy and pleasant. He was prompt, polite, and helpful. There was no problem when I needed other shingle samples delivered or picked up. The crew was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. I asked questions that were answered and resolved. They did an outstanding cleanup job. My new roof looks wonderful. No landscaping was damaged. I am pleased with the outcome. Their organization of the task impressed me.

Jordan from Buildtec helped get my roof replaced after a recent hail storm in the area. Very professional and friendly service. Helped guide me thru the insurance claim process, etc. Jordan also recommended a different color of shingle than the one I selected, and I went with his choice... it was definitely the right choice, looks great... he has a bright future in exterior design, ha.

Old fashioned customer service. I called him on a Sunday morning to leave a message to hopefully get him out on Monday an hour Later he is backing in my driveway with tools he goes up and turns out it wasn't their problem but he fixed it anyway. I don't know of any company that you can call on Sunday morning and an hour latter he is at your house. These guys are the best!

We love our new roof!
After being approached by random companies, from who knows where, I contacted a friend in the siding business for a roofing company referral and was put in touch with Jordan from Buildtec. Jordan worked with our insurance company to get our claim approved. The site manager Chad came by the day before the job was to begin to check the materials and make sure everything was set. The crew arrived before 7am and went to work. (For safety they even taped off the area where there might be falling debris). The job was finished and cleaned up by 4:30pm.

I could not be more satisfied to have been able to work with Jordan Henningsgard from Buildtec! He made everything so easy and it never felt like working with the company was a hassle. The new roof and gutters look spectacular! I will definitely be using Buildtec in the future and would highly recommend to anybody.

Great company, great customer service and a company you can depend on. I live in California and I have a home in Minnesota. Nick and Mark help me with a damage in my fascia board, and they did a great job. I feel that I can count on them, even if I am 2000 miles away.

We had Luke and the BUILDTEC crew replace our roof this year after a big hail storm late last year. They were very professional. Luke was here when the insurance adjuster came to review the damage to the property. He made sure everything was included in the paperwork turned into the insurance company. They handled all of the details and communication with the insurance company. They even rescheduled their job to accommodate road work being done in our neighborhood. I would strongly recommend Luke and the entire BUILDTEC team.

BuildTec replaced our roof three years ago. Last night’s rain caused our bathroom vent to leak. We called Nick Howe, he came over within an hour and found a hornet nest in the vent, which was causing the flapper not to close. He removed the nest, tightened the vent and resealed it. No charge. These guys are awesome!

Still have nails around the property, I have a bubble or bulge in my siding that was never taken care of. My sales man told me they’d take care of my deductible and didn’t take it out of the Bill then send me a new bill with late fees. When I messaged my sales man about it he said “if you payed your bill(s) you wouldn’t have late fees. The late fees are from the deductible he said he would take care of. Lots of word games and bait and switch deals going on. I wouldn’t recommend them when there’s 15k other companies to do better.

I’m very happy with the service and friendliness of all persons involved with our project. I’d recommend this company to all who are in need of your project’s. This is Kent talking and one of the things I felt remarkable about all of this with a speed from the initial door knock to getting the actual project done. it was very fast, maybe two weeks if not less. Both Luke and Jordan need a good pat on the back. Excellent job

Buildtec installed heat tape on my roof. They were supposed to have the work completed last week. It was not. They showed up today to finish the job without even calling to let me know. When they arrived; no knock on the door even! When I asked why no communication; the owner told the crew to continue to work and avoided answering my question. My baby was just laid down for a nap and because of the noise was up!
Thanks Buildtec for being unprofessional! I'll be sure to let my network of friends know to go with a different roofing company!

I was extremely displeased with the service I received, the price compared to other roof contractors, and the unethical attitude of the sales person with which I had the misfortune of working.

My advice is to shop around. I have no doubt you can get a better price from a far more ethical company without looking to hard.

Nick, Matt and the rest of the Buildtec team did a great job replacing our hail damaged roof in one day and working directly with our insurance adjuster.

Luke Hanson was our associate. He was incredibly detailed and personable. Luke Spoke directly with our insurance company so there was absolutely no work for us to do! He was able to address some of our other roofing concerns without question! The roof installation was quick and they left no trace of debris! I have nothing but positive things to say about this company!

I was walked through the insurance process, product selection and construction process, the crew did an amazing job, they were fast and clean and pleasant! The end results surpassed expectations! The folks from Buildtec have done numerous remodeling projects in my townhouse. From replacing roof shingles and siding, to gutting and restoring a bathroom, along with new doors and trim throughout. I trusted them enough to do an awesome job gutting and restoring the main bathroom that I went on vacation. I came home to a wonderful bathroom and spotless work area. I never had to worry. I would hire them again in a minute.

Buildtec did a great job replacing the roof on my house and garage. Everyone I talked to and dealt with went above and beyond to take care of things. They did a really good job of working with me to add a couple of things that I wanted to (more vents and new gutters on our flat roof portion). Buildtec also did a great job of interacting with my insurance company.

I would recommend Buildtec to anyone who is looking for a contractor without hesitation.

BUILDTEC recently completed roofing my town home. I was amazed at
how efficiently, quickly and precisely the work teams completed their
work! it was really impressive to watch a large crew work together so smoothly. Each member knew what job to do and went to work immediately doing it-rather like a well oiled machine! I was relieved
to see that several of the crew were assigned to place large tarps to catch old roofing and to protect plants and property. I was so surprised to
look out my window and see tarps filled with debris and half an hour later
every inch of my property was spotless! I can't imagine how the company
owner/owners managed to organize a large crew to work as one, in order
to do top quality work so quickly! I highly recommend Buildtec!!
