If we could give this company zero stars we would. Their window product is good. Their people and performances are just terrible and ridiculous. We have been rescheduled and rescheduled from when they had to install the windows and now again from when they are to come back and redo a window and replace screens because the installer didn’t put the windows in correctly. We have air leaks and we have crooked screens. We have been rescheduled at least 4 times now to have these repairs done because they keep double booking us. It’s very hard to even get ahold of someone there to even ask about when they are coming or if they are not coming. We have taken days off work to wait for them to be here and then they never show and call to reschedule. What a terrible unprofessional company. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the hassle of this back and forth nightmare the past few years with this company has been. Yes years. My MIL got windows done with them too now in a different city than us and has had the same issues with this company leaks with water and all. Better off with a different company with just as good windows so you don’t have these problems.

So far so good, they were best by far in sales and product. Best quote, no hard sell as opposed to competitors who were humorous in hard sell (de Bella). Final measurement went very smoothly day and a half after signed contract, window are in production currently, 6-9 weeks out. Very happy so far. They keep me updated. There is also 12 months free financing. Good experience. Recommend them.

I haven't had my roof installed yet, BUT, the representative (Sharon I think was her name) who called me to set up the appointment was friendly, courteous, and calming. As this was my first time talking about a new roof.

Then our Sales Rep, Christian, was so patient, nice, answered all my questions ( I had about 40 of them BEFORE he started his sales pitch), and was the best Sales Rep I have dealt with in a long time. Thank You, Christian!

The process of ordering replacement bedroom windows from 1-800-HANSONS was an overall good experience. I was given great customer service from Christian, who was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He answered all my questions about their products and financing. Today I had a very sweet gentleman Alex Mader in Sioux Falls, SD. Come to my house to go over options and prices for installing a shower then changed my mind to a bathtub then bath and shower.... then doing both bathrooms we went over LOTS of options (slightly indecisive and perfectionist). Our meeting took lots of time he was extremely patient and kind no pressure sales person. I was going to shop around for the best price but purely off of his personality I trust him and choose to do business with only Hanson's I can only hope that everyone else there is as personable and knowledgeable as he was.

I would rate Alex from Hansons higher if I could. I have had a few people give me a quote on windows. I had by far the best experience on how and what his company offered for the project. I also know the product will be exactly what I wanted. I would give a 10/10

Initial sales experience was great! Christian provided excellent knowledge, was friendly and helpful through the process, and was more than willing to help us with any questions!

Christian was so knowledgeable about the company’s offerings but presented in such a laid back manner where I felt zero pressure to “sign on the dotted line.”… but I did anyway. He made sure to give 110% of his time and attention to me and made sure I wasn’t confused or unsure of anything.

Christian was excellent at explaining all the options on our window replacement project. He was patient with all our questions and we never felt rushed. Christian's attention to detail gives us great confidence the job will be done right. We appreciate that he was able to explain all the next steps, so we don't feel overwhelmed. Five new windows put in for 9k and didn’t try to open all the windows until the next day (because you know I foolishly expected people who spend their time professionally putting in windows would know how to do that properly )and align the locks and not destroy the windows in the process of trying to use them. Furthermore, I was just on the phone with customer service and explained the situation and did not even get an apology of any sort.
I am super unimpressed and disappointed in your service and will not be using it again or recommending to anyone else.

I just made the roof agreement. So far everything looks good. I do not want roof leaks and it appears the new roof will be good. I want hail protection as much as possible. The roof I purchased should do that.

The salesperson gave a good presentation and communicated in a clear manner.

I have had two appointments with Hanson’s representative Alex Mader and was very satisfied. He walked through the project and explained various options in a way that I could understand. He was very polite and did not push me in any direction. I was impressed. Looking forward to a new looking home when the project is completed!

The process of ordering the window and installation was extremely smooth, and the installers were amazing. Kevin and his right hand man worked very efficiently together and got the job done in a matter of a couple hours. Kevin even gave us a few tips of advice on what we can do on the outside of our house to keep it in good condition, he truly went above and beyond. The only frustrating part of the whole process was getting the installation day canceled three times.

The installers were informative and efficient. The were timely and paid attention to the details of the installation of my windows. It took awhile for the windows to get here, 5 1/2 months, so be aware of that if you order them from this company. The windows are great though.

He gave great advice and suggestions for each window. The demonstration of how their windows block heat from the sun better than a wall of insulation sold me!

The nightmare continues. This company is having serious issues. My order FINALLY arrived after one excuse after another re: manufacturing issues. I’m so over the promises, apologies & egregious disrespect for my property. The casing delivered was completely incorrect as was a screen and the installers were pathetic. The Regional Operations Manager was well aware of same as he was involved with the install. He has emphatically promised to give this priority to rectify as well as contact me to discuss “how we may make your experience with Hansons better than it’s been.”

Alex was very personable, not pushy, and helpful with designing our dream shower and tub! He made the process feel easy and fun. We really enjoyed welcoming him into our home to start our project. He was an awesome listener and we are thankful to have had him!

All of my questions were answered in a non pressured conversation that has me excited for this upcoming project! I am confident I will see a great return on my investment. The new roof looks amazing and I am so thankful to have the project completed to improve my home. From start to finish, everything was done in one day. I love the look, quality, color, enhancement to the house, etc. Shingles were all lying flat within a day of being in place with no curled edges. I appreciate the expert work done by your team from Hansons. They worked diligently and were extremely thorough with the cleanup.

There was an inspector out from Hansons about a week after project was done to follow up. I said I was very pleased with everything. I mentioned one downspout bent/damaged and that has been replaced. The initial scheduling was a challenge due to inclement weather but Hansons worked with me to pick a date that we agreed on. The cost of my homeowners insurance has been significantly reduced after I updated my policy to include the upgraded Class 4 shingled roof. In one month I have noticed a more consistent temperature in my home with less demand for cooling & heating. My home is much better insulated, protected, quieter, and safer through the stormy weather we have experienced so far this summer. I am very pleased! Thank you!

Christian was great to work with. He explained everything very explicit. He said several times. I just want to make sure you know. Doing the heat test was a shock. I never expected windows to let that much heat in, in the summertime. It's nice to know that it won't come in next summer. Thank you Christian. You did a great job. The two guys that came to install the window were great to work with. It took a approximately 4 hours to install the window after taking the bow window out. I thought that was a great timing. We had a great day to do this weather wise. They cleaned up their own mess and made the window sill for me.

We recently had our garage siding and gutters installed by Hansons and are very pleased with the results. The new siding looks great. Communication throughout the process was excellent as they notified us when the crews would be at our house and were also very responsive to all questions we had. We will replace the doors and paint the trim in the Spring and the project will be complete. Highly recommend Hansons.

My husband and I began to notice water spots on our ceiling from a roof leak. We researched a few companies and called 1-800 Hansons. Christian came out and looked at our roof and gave us a few different options. We are both deaf so we really appreciated his patience and thoroughness when he explained everything. He was also able to make the project fit within our budget. We are happy to get the project started. Thank you Christian!

Our experience so far has been superb. When Christian came to our house to start the process of selecting siding and measuring the windows to get the quote going, I wasn't sure what to expect. He made the process simple and explained everything in great detail and probably most importantly made us feel comfortable about what we were going to invest in. Great communication and customer care/service. Very knowledgeable in the products they offer.

Update 1 - windows installed - great communication throughout the process - weather delayed the first attempt but they were prompt with the unfortunate notification. The install went great and the final product looks wonderful. Christian was in contact about how the install went and came over to take a look himself.

Update 2 - siding installed - once again great communication once the initial contact was made - weather was looming but didn't interrupt the installation - it was quoted as 1.5 to 2 days and even with inclement weather the installation was complete and clean-up done by the end of the 2nd day. Our main contact, Christian, stopped out 2 days after the install was complete to make sure we were happy with the final product and answer any questions we may have. We feel the siding looks wonderful, especially tied together with the new windows. The white trim with the midnight blue siding really has a great contrast/pop to it.

Update 3 on the way - we have a huge silver maple tree in the backyard that clogs our gutters multiple times a year - we are having them install their leaf guard system as soon as they are able to. You can see the dark stains on the gutters from the overflowing water in the latest siding pictures added.

The premium charge for their windows, service, and guarantee does not seem worth it. The initial install seemed okay and went fairly smooth BUT nearly every window leaked due to poor install. This led to water damage on most of window sills. The service is not good. I have to continually call them to try to get this issue fixed. They pomise to provide call backs but they never do. Multiple service calls have been canceled last minute causing me to waste my vacation time. Each time a service member has come out, they only have continually added to the amount of caulk around the windows and sills... I am a couple months in since I contacted them about the leaks and water damage and yet to get the sills replaced.

Don't get sold on the install and after care service.... windows are okay themselves but I'm sure you can find similar quality for much cheaper elsewhere.

I have had a great experience with Christian so far. He did a great job with helping me get my window and roof project underway. It was very affordable and the options he presented were exactly what I was looking for. I’m looking forward to the final results.

We had an estimate meeting with salesman Christian. He was friendly and explained everything well. We ordered new gutters, roof and patio door. So far everything has gone smoothly and they have kept us updated daily on how things are moving along. Will update this review once work is complete.

Update 11/12/24
All work is now complete and we are pleased with the results. Each project took less than a day to complete and arrived on schedule. We did find several nails/screws, brackets, and a drill bit around the property after the installation of the roof and gutters. A pile of nails and some shingles were left from under the dumpster when it was hauled away. There was a strong chemical smell from the sealants used on the patio door for about a week after installation. We consider these issues minor but want to give an honest review. We are overall happy with the quality of work for all 3 projects.

Did reduce one star from original rating due to all the nails in the driveway and back deck and patio. Made us a little worried for our dog and car tires. No issues have arose though.
