This company ranks among the absolute worst I’ve ever dealt with. Their representative, Vernon Cornish, arrived to measure my windows for a replacement quote as requested. Instead, he wasted 30 minutes delivering an aggressive sales pitch about his product before even addressing the task at hand. After I redirected him to focus on measurements, he asked to inspect the windows from outside. He measured one window with a tape measure, moved to the next, and when I asked if he was recording the measurements, he casually admitted he wasn’t, saying, “Oh, if you want me to write them down, I’ll grab a pen and paper, but I can just count them for a bid.” To my disbelief, he then walked around my house, visually glanced at all 30 windows without measuring a single one, and later emailed me a vague bid exceeding $100,000. The bid lacked any details about window types, material grades, or specifications.
For context, this was my third contractor visit. The previous two contractors meticulously measured every window, discussed material quality and energy efficiency, and provided detailed bids ranging from $30,000 to $40,000. This company’s lack of professionalism, transparency, and integrity is appalling—steer clear if you value quality and honesty.

Shane has been very respectful and transparent on what sliding glass door would be best. He even provided a presentation on the type of sliding doors they offer. Highly recommend!

Tyler was prompt to our appointment for an estimate on two 42x75" picture windows. He was knowledgeable and represented Hanson's well. We ordered the replacements to be ready September or October for installation.

This is an excellent company no hidden anything with the bid. The consultant Shane New was excellent and talked us through the remodel and answered all our questions fully. Great job. More to come after the work

Had my house sided by Hanson workers were great didna great job however. Dealing with Hanson was so what of a Challenge reschedule work to start 4 times took almost 3 month before siding was installed charged me material that was not used be careful.of there contracts I watched the person type everytime in on what was needed for the project but then the was a glitch as he put it and we stared over after I had already signed the contract after everything was said and done mysteriously the wood material I was was charged for was no longer there they came and charged me for hanging a gutter that was in the contract and charged me another hundred dollars then stated it was for a permit I paid almost 36000 dollars if I was to do it over would not use this company you would be better off using a local company

Our salesman Ty was very polite and respectful. He answered all of our questions and concerns. And best of all he didn't try to bully my mother into any contracts. Other places have been very stressful for my mother.
A previous guy to give my mother a quote needs to be talked to in a dark alley about respect. None of that happened with Ty. The prices seem really good. And we have the option of moving forward or choosing not to.

Shane was very informative and gave us all the options, rather than just pushing the most expensive product. He was willing to explain everything in great detail and talk about the pros and cons of the products offered. He was respectful of our financial situation and what we could afford

These windows are awful. Not only are the frames bulky, but they don't properly fit the window opening, so a two inch strip of vinyl is just added to the outside to hide the enormous gap between the frame and the opening. Service was absolutely disgusting. Instead of asking how to fix the problem, they argued that everything was just how it is supposed to be. Customer satisfaction is not a consideration for this company. Unless you want to drastically overpay for the product and wait 3 months for "custom" windows to arrive and them be installed to look as though a 5 year old put them in, i would Not recommend using this company.

Ty was so professional and informative! Covered all of our questions and even had an idea we didn’t think about. Can’t wait to have a new shower in our home!! Thanks again Ty for being so amazing!

Tyler Zamora was very professional and didn’t try to up sell. He was very knowledgeable about all the products. Will be using for other home projects in the future.

Tyler Zamora was very helpfull for our needs and did not push us into anything that we did not want. He did suggest a few things that we did not think of and let US decide if we wanted it. We would strongly suggest you talk to Hansons to get a quote it will be worth you time. He will also be here when they start the project.

The insurance claim that I have been asked to follow has provided every detailed item and I am ecstatic with the first installs. I’ve ordered additional product today from the two obvious orders before Vern isyour man if you want the best Product and service.

Vern came and was great! We have needed new windows for a while and I have been hesitant to get into it because it’s a huge project and I don’t have a ton of funds laying around for that kind of thing. So being on a budget, Vern helped break things down to feel affordable.

The window consult by Vern. Very informative about the product and pride in his job and product he sells. I knew I wanted the best efficient window and Hanson windows provide triple pane with coatings to reduce heat and sound.

Shane was a phenomenal resource to review options and explain everything excellently. Great person to talk to and easy to work with and figure out options.

Not thrilled with this experience - I chose to have windows and siding replaced on my home. The installation team for the windows were decent enough, as was the sales person. However, the windows themselves had a smaller inside glass dimension than what I replaced. This was not explicitly pointed out by the sales person. The siding came in a different color than the window frames. The salesman said "we cannot match the color perfectly" and gave me small samples to choose from out of a book. The siding looks off in color (a greenish hue to a brown siding) it does not match my garage door or window frames. I may end up getting it painted to match. The installation team did not clean very well and left debris in my yard and flower gardens (nails and trim pieces). The phone line was left dangling due to removal of the anchor and they also cut the line to my sprinkling system that was nested behind the original siding. I have had to hire a landscape technician to re-run the wiring to my sprinkler boxes. Over-all, this experience has not been a positive one. I waited an enormous amount of time between the order and arrival of the windows and the siding took several days to complete. The job from order to finish took 4 months. I would not recommend Hansons.

Had Shane out to give a bid on a new shower and bath. He asked my wife and I great questions to understand our need. He was very kind, understanding and wanted to help us get the best shower for our needs.

Shane with 1-800-Hansons was wonderful! He answered all my questions, and put me at ease with my concerns. Shane was very detailed in what the process is is and what to expect. He was also very upfront with what the final cost of by bath remodel would be.

We had a great experience with Hansens. We received text and email updates all along the way to let us know where we were in the process. I really appreciated that I didn’t feel left in the dark for 3 months only to have a random phone call to let me know they are coming- instead I was very aware of every thing from order inputs to windows being made to permits etc. The installers did a great job and left everything nice and cleaned annd vacuumed all along the way. Our window is beautiful. Thank you!

Vern came to put house today to show us windows. He was so friendly and kind. We are on a tight budget and have 2 kids with a disability. They are really working on trying to help us with our budget.
We are looking forward to working with them in the future.

Shane came to our home to give us a bid for a shower and tub renovation. He was professional, knowledgeable about their products and even gave us some new layout possibilities. We felt like he listened to our wants and needs and drew up the best bid that their company could offer.

Shane was very detailed and knowledgeable about the windows we were interested in. We appreciated the many ways that he showed us the quality of the windows with the heat lamp, cross section of the window etc.

We recently had Bailey come out to give us an estimate on a couple of windows and potentially siding or roofing. She took the time to explain everything clearly and walked us through multiple options and quotes. We ended up signing for the windows, but unfortunately didn’t have the budget for the other projects at this time.
Bailey was incredibly kind and understanding about it all. We truly appreciated her patience and professionalism. We’ll definitely be using 1-800-HANSONS again in the future.

We just had a crew come out and finish up our project! We are so happy with the windows that we were able to get, the crew was professional and very quick and assured us that we would no longer have any leaking. We are so happy with the results and will definitely use 1-800-HANSONS in the future!

Ps. The new tint on the windows look beautiful! And there is significantly less noise from the road.

Uriel Espinoza was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of information to help us make an informed decision.

2nd edit now that the work is done! We did get a beautiful bathtub and the local 1800Hansen guys were awesome to work with. The installer came over 3 days to get it done right the first time. He was very methodical with his work and made sure we don't get any water damage near our tub anytime soon. Leaving at 3 stars due to the horrible communication issues with their corporate people. Local guys said they have issues with them as well. Still recommending a smaller local company for anyone seeking services that Hansens offers.

Edit: FAKE REVIEWS!!! THEY MAKE YOU REVIEW ON GOOGLE WHEN SIGNING CONTRACT, NOT WHEN INSTALL HAPPENS. We signed a contract that says we won't back out, but we were told we need to be rescheduled for our install 8/29-8/30 the day before it was supposed to happen. They've since called again and asked to push it out AGAIN. Looking at another month of waiting after the original quote of 6-8 weeks. I'm sure this will be rescheduled again.

These guys are also insanely difficult to contact. Long hold times, and call backs usually take at least 24 hours. When they do call you back you usually end up on hold as they transfer you to the correct department. If they call you first you'd better drop everything to save you lots of time later on.

Save the extra money you'll spend with 1-800 Hansons and go local! Small businesses seem to care about their customers where larger corporations just don't. Lesson learned!

Original review from the contract signing: Shane was very thorough and spent time to answer all of our questions! We are new to home renovation and he made us feel secure in our decision to renovate our tub and shower.

All these guys care about is a 5star review. They got me to change mine to 5 stars, based on one individual who was willing to take care of us and the problems we have faced with this company. Now that guy supposedly doesn’t work for them anymore. I have been dealing with them to replace windows on my home for 8 months now and we are STILL waiting!!! The windows they originally installed failed the city inspection because the wrong type of glass was used. After waiting over 2 months for them to argue with the city, they finally said they would order the correct glass (this was in April of 2025) we are now at the end of July, which is when they told us the new glass would be here…… now they’re telling me that they never said that and the glass isn’t even supposed to be to them until August. So, here we are still waiting, with no clue as to what is going on because Kurt was the only one communicating with us and he no longer works there.

There have been a ton of issues with my install at hansons, I have repeatedly had to have Uriel (Uddy) come back to fix his mistakes since their October install, the bathroom installer screwed up on his measurements and I had to get my vanity removed or wait 4 to 6 months for the correct tub size after they had ripped everything out, we agreed that I would pay for the vanity materials but he would do the vanity install for free, which he never did, I waiting for 2 months before I finally did it myself. He didn't install the shower correctly and today he demanded $300 for the sheetrock he paid for, he said out of his own pocket, before he would get started on the warranty work, $70k remodel job and I'm getting nickle and dimed after the fact. He is in my home so I reluctantly paid, then after I paid, he brought in his underage kid to do all the labor on the warranty work with hansons.

The siding they keep ordering the wrong parts and waiting months on end for them to fix their mistakes, its been 8 months of them still not being done. Overpriced, unethical and maybe even illegal with the young kid working the job.

Shawn (or Sean) deserves 5 stars for sure! He was very professional. Called with a heads up before he came and was very thorough with his work. He is definitely one great worker! That being said, the communication between the company and getting them to come out was not as easy as I thought it would be. Still a great company and I’d recommend them for sure. Keep up the good work Shawn (or Sean). Your hard work was appreciated today good sir. That being said, I was told when I bought the siding that I could “take a hammer to it and it would be covered under warranty” years later and my wife hit the corner of my house (no structure damage) a corner piece and a few slats buckled. They are now saying “that’s not covered under warranty” like seriously? I can purposely take a hammer to it and it would be covered, but not that? Don’t pay the extra $8000. Go with a different contractor. They probably have the same warranty.

4.30.21 - John @ Hansons is the man! He took my call on a sunday, worked with me monday / tuesday and we had everything finalized by a wednesday. Super easy to work with, very responsive, and an all around great person and company work with. I'd highly recommend them to a friend or family.
