Richard Tyler was an excellent person at our interview his personality and attitude was a plus. He was a delight to have in our home as one of your representatives. He did an excellent demonstration with the window and heat lamp.
Due to his excellent knowledge we decided to be return customers and cancelled Wallside.

Just had Ryan H out to give us an estimate and honestly, he was very honest and open with all the products, work and estimates. Great to work with and made everything so much easier for us. Can't recommend fast enough!!!

Installation was great.

The person who came to my house to write order didn’t tell me one correct thing.
I found out the truth when installer arrived at my house.

I was initially satisfied with both the service and the quality of work provided by Hansons. However, I encountered an issue with the shower enclosure I had installed — the shelves fell off. I reported this problem online, as requested, back in January. Now it’s March, and there has been no progress toward resolving this issue.

Despite calling the 1-800-426-7667 number three times, the only response I received was from a young lady who informed me that she had no information on the status of the supply order needed to fix the problem — supplies that could easily be purchased at any big box home improvement store.

With plans for window replacement coming up, I find myself unable to trust Hansons’ customer service, and I cannot in good faith recommend them to others.

I can’t say enough negative things about my experience with this company. I will have to even leave out some of the negative things from this experience in order to keep this review somewhat concise. It took over 7 visits out to my house for them to correctly install only 6 windows and even then the job wasn’t done correctly on the last visit but I gave up because I was sick of having to deal with this awful company. After the first installation of all 6 windows I noticed the sashes of all the windows were extremely visibly crooked and the screens did not fit snuggly so there were large gaps to the outside. I sent pictures and videos of this to Hanson’s and they kept trying to convince me that this was normal and nothing was wrong with them but at my insistence they finally set out a contractor to look at them. This contractor told me that all 6 windows were installed incorrectly and installed so poorly that they were all damaged and needed to be completely replaced with new windows. It was like pulling teeth trying to get the company to finally deal with this problem and it was only me reaching out to them multiple times, they never reached out to remedy the issue on their end. At one of the last installs, one of the contractors broke one of the brand new windows when they were bringing them into my house. I waited the whole time they were there for them to bring up this problem and how it was going to be remedied; they never did (I only knew the window broke because it happened in front of me). Hours later they left my house and I went to inspect the windows; they had installed one of the windows they were here to replace, one of the original poorly installed and damaged windows. Since they broke the replacement window they just reinstalled the damaged window without even saying anything to me about it at all. This was extremely sketchy and when I called the company to get them to fix this issue I was so sick of dealing with them I just asked for them to comp the one damaged window that was reinstalled without my knowledge because I didn’t want have them come back out to my house AGAIN and damage something else. The company adamantly refused to comp me for the whole window and would only comp me for half which is horrible customer service for all I had to deal with. Also the walls of my home around the windows that were installed were badly damaged and I had sent videos and photos of this proof to the company and even with all of this and my other poor experiences that I didn’t even list here, the company would not comp me price of the one single window for all of the trouble that I had with this company. They were also extremely rude to me on the phone and later when I made a BBB complaint. Large bugs are getting through the windows- including a massive wasp- at a rate much higher than my old windows that were installed in the 90s…Of note, my neighbors got their windows replaced by a different company at the same time, paid thousands of dollars less and haven’t had a single window issue at their home. For your own sanity and checkbook, avoid Hanson’s at all costs.

The window is great, but getting it installed was a nightmare. We were told it would take 4-6 wks- in the end took five months. They kept cancelling/rescheduling the installation. Then when it was finally installed, they left the interior trim undone- said it "wasn't in the order". After a lot of debating, being told to call our Hanson's salesman (who had left the company), they came & finished it, but honestly, I wouldn't order anything from them again. Find a local contractor! We had an entire bathroom remodel finished while waiting for that single window from Hanson's.

Very unprofessional company!
I called them for a bathroom quote.
They want all my contact info up front (phone and email).
They scheduled their visit a week away. I took that time off work to be able to meet them at my home.
They never showed up and never called.
Based on this I would never ever use this company. What if I had them do the work and had a problem later with their job. I'd never be able to get them back to the house.

Paul Wilbert was an excellent sales person to do deal with. He was very professional but still made me very comfortable making my decision.

I would not recommend Hansons to anyone. They did our gutters and sofit months ago. What we were told was a 4 day job turned into 8 day. Neighbors complained because materials all of their yard. Hanson workers ruined all of our flowers around our house. We had pieces fall off 3 weeks ago. Called and the scheduled for 2 weeks out. Took off work to be there for appointment. 2 days before they text to say it was moved to the day before. Take another day off. Get a text 10 min after they were suppose to be here to say they were coming another day. When I called, the supervisor got snotty and basically said she didn't understand the problem. When I finally got angry she said when you calm down, please call back and hung up. Poor service all around.

Very happy with our window replacement. It was a BIG job. We had a huge bay window to replace in the front of our home. We really wanted to be able to open the windows and get a breeze, but also have great insulation and seal it up nicely for the winter. We are so impressed. From the salesman, to the measuring, to the installation guys. Everyone was professional, kind, and just awesome! We got a quality window that exceeded our expectations. Our old window was a unique shape that caused the installers to think outside the box and come up with a Unique custom solution. We are very happy with the way it turned out. We appreciate the thoughtful attention to detail and way that they were helpful, even helped me bring in my groceries!! I would recommend 1-800-Hanson's to any of my family and friends and definitely will be calling them again for any of our home improvement needs. Thank you again for a phenomenal experience!

Delevered the windows faster than promised. Broke a window during install. My house goes on the market in 2 weeks. The fix won't be for 8 weeks. Good communication, just not great execution

UPDATE: The windows are great, however this was a much longer process than I originally anticipated. There was a measurement error so one of my windows couldn't be installed and had to be remade. The first contractor crew did not realize how hard it would be to work on my windows like I was initially told. It took 3 days. The trim on the inside was more narrow than what my old windows were and I was initially told, "you won't like how the wider trim looks, you just need to repaint" It wasn't just painting, I would have to fill in holes, sand the wall where the old paint was and then paint the whole wall. Eventually I contacted my salesman and he got them to approve putting new trim on. All this happened while we were waiting for my last window to be made and installed. The first time they came out to instal the last window, the crew was late and didn't have time to replace the window and install the new trim, so they just did the trim. I'm happy with how that came outfit looks great. The second time they tried to install the window, the crew showed up with the old mismeasured window. They attempted to go back and find the correct window but they couldn't. Finally, a 3rd crew came out and got the last window installed. The whole process took about 3 months. Like mentioned previously, I love the product, the people I talked with at Hansons were always very nice and explained things to me but man it was longer and had way more issues than anticipated.

Ryan was great with giving me an estimate. He knew my apartment complex and knew the challenges of it already. He has helped alleviate my concerns and anxiety about this process. Very happy with my service so far.
