When my husband and I were thinking we needed to do something about our bathroom to make it user friendly as we age into our retirement years, we went to an annual event our city puts on every year. We stopped at several booths that offered the services we needed to remodel/renovate our bathroom. Mind you, our home dates back to the late 1800's. Having done alot of improvements ourselves, we are aware of the challenges an old house presents with every project. The vendor that stood out was "Your Home Improvement Company" out of Sioux Falls/South Dakota. Nash, (sales rep.), was amazing! He didn't bat an eye at our small bathroom with a cast iron claw tub. He reassured us in every way that his company could customize anything and everything to make our bathroom everything we could hope for. He was very knowledgeable, thorough and answered all of our questions BEFORE we had the chance to even ask them. His comparison samples of their product verses other products out there just blew us away. They were clearly top-notch products...very impressive! To top it all off was the Lifetime Warranty! That in itself says alot about this company. Once the paperwork was all completed, (the upper boss), Ben chatted with us on the phone and Thanked us for choosing them for our project. That was a "Wow" moment. In less than a week, Sam came by and took all the measurements to order our custom walk-in shower. In 2 weeks, Katie notified us that all of our materials had arrived at their warehouse and Kenzie made scheduling a breeze. They also took care of any permits and inspections. Their contracted Installer, (Scott), and Plumber, (Cody), were absolutely Amazing! Their knowledge, skills and expertise in troubleshooting were phenomenal! Challenges??? Oh yes there were...but these 2 had everything under control at all times. The city inspector was here twice and was very satisfied with how this project was handled. Their time frame is usually 1 1/2 days but considering what they were up against with this old house, it was totally completed in less than 2 1/2 days...INCREDIBLE and BEAUTIFUL! This whole project was all about us at all times in making our dream bathroom become a reality and functional for us for the rest of our lives with no worries because they will always be there for us if we ever should need them. What a Great Company, Amazing Team, (every single one of them) and piece of mind for us. "YOUR HOME IMPROVEMENT COMPANY"/Sioux Falls...that's all you need to remember.

A bit pricey but definitely stand behind their products and their install. After my complaining about the trimming, they sent out someone who inspected it and agreed it was not done to their standards. They sent out a different contractor who completely redid the trim at no additional cost to me.

I was extremely happy with the outcome of my bathroom remodel. I had a new shower tub put in, as well as new flooring. Nash was an informational salesman on their products. Sam did a fine job of measuring the room. Cody was a great plummer, he answered all my questions I had! Very professional. Scott was very patient with all my questions and was very professional and did quality work. My bathroom needed extra work cause it was so old, so they work around that really well. I'm very pleased & impressed with the outcome. All I can say is THANK YOU for all your great work!

We just finished a project that included two showers and a bath tub installation. Lee Kuehne was the primary installer. He was excellent! Polite, professional, and very thorough. Lee always took time to answer questions and to make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted from the project. I am very pleased with the work.

I also want to recognize Jon Olson the project manager. When the wrong bath tub shipped for the project, he spent the time to find the correct tub and then drove nearly 4 hours to get it here so the installation wasn't delayed.

Scott Zomer was the contractor who worked with installing a new walk in tub and walk in shower. He was very thorough, professional and meticulous. I would recommend him highly for any and all jobs.

We hired YHIC in 2009 to replace all the windows and siding on our home. Cost of the project was $70,000. We were told that there was a "lifetime warranty". Fast-forward to 2022 when windows started to leak. The window wraps and siding were pulled back to reveal extensive wood rot. YHIC's solution was to replace the wood around the windows. The solution unfortunately was to tear off all old siding and completely redo the house. We hired another company to do this and it cost over $100,000. All YHIC did was dump a bunch of 2x4's on my driveway to replace the rot around the windows. I was not asking them to pay for the entire job, but to at least provide a reasonable reimbursement to help with the repair cost. Instead, they had their attorney write me a letter stating the rot was due to a failure of the caulking and that it was my responsibility to maintain the caulking, and that Minnesota statutes said the claims must be brought forth within 10 years. So much for "lifetime warranty."

Lee, Jacob and Ben helped us in everyway possible. They were awesome and talked to us during the process and if there were any complications. My family would definitely recommend to anybody we come across. Thank you guys for making our house feel just alil bit younger and happy. This is the most awesome shower I've seen put together and my family gets to enjoy it all the time.

Our service from the beginning was great, Jacob & Nash did a wonderful job explaining any questions we had. Lee our installer did a quick, professional job and communicated with us very well. We are so happy with the end result!!

I had reached out to YHIC for a bathroom upgrade. Nash arrived to discuss options. He was very easy to work with and answered all my questions (I had a lot). I just had my bathroom completed yesterday. It was a little more complicated than anyone thought. Everyone on site was easy to work with. Cody and Scott were wonderful. Also answered any/all questions I had. Wonderful group of people and great company!

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Jacob, our sales representative was on time, listened and completely courteous in what we were wanting done.The day of the installation Brett had called to let me know how the next couple of days were expected to go.
He was pretty wee right on track. Lee our installer couldn't have been better, he was thorough and very detailed, he cleaned up after each day, and placed floor covering where deeded to make sure not to track through the house. When the job was complete he called me to let me know and then sent pictures for me to see before we got home. Later that evening he even texted me to see what we thought when we actually saw it in person, I appreciate that extra personal touch. Jacob then came back to make sure and do a thorough walkthrough the bathroom to make sure that everything was exactly the way we had discussed from the beginnings and that we were satisfied. I would highly recommend Your Home Improvements to anyone any day thank you for doing such a great job.

I had a terrible experience with this company and would not recommend them. The process started with a quote where the salesman failed to explain anything about the windows. I was not told I’d received pocket insert windows, which resulted in losing 2" of opening on each side of every window. With the price tag, I assumed it was windows with new frames.
After placing the order, I couldn't get in touch with the project manager despite leaving several voicemails over the course of a week. It took minimum 5 days before getting any answers.
Once installed, the windows didn’t live up to expectations. Over three years, I had to replace the handle on the same window three times. Every time, I had to wait about 6 months to get it fixed. I even reached out to the regional manager for help, but after one conversation, I never heard back from them.
I reluctantly removed my negative review after they promised to fix the handle and improve communication. A month later, nothing changed. My handle is still broken and no communications. The warranty is meaningless if no one responds when issues arise. I can’t recommend this company for either their products or their customer service.

The salesperson Jane was good to work with and the installer Lee was awesome! Fine work was done. Lee was great to work with asked us about important decisions. Kept the job site clean and the finished job is awesome.

I've had these windows since 2018 and they still work and look great! Brayden the salesmen came out today to check them out to make sure I was still satisfied with my windows! Would definitely recommend this company.

Mr. Durby and Mr. Luze were extremely helpful and knowledgeable with answering my questions and walking me through the process of upgrading my bathroom.
