The owner, Jim, returned my call promptly to schedule gutter guard placement. I received a fair quote for the work. Douglas and Alvero were very professional. They showed up on time, completed the project, and left my driveway area clean. My gutters look great. I am very satisfied with the work performed by the Gutter Doctor -plus, and I would highly recommend this company for any gutter services

When the crew arrived, they were very good and completed the project which included a new downspout and a total of three underground drainage pipes. This company was AMAZINGLY fast at getting me a quote and scheduling the work. (I accepted the estimate in the afternoon and had confirmation the work would be done the next day.) The crew that came to the house were super friendly and fast.

The Gutter Dr. Plus, Jim and the 5 Star crew are absolutely amazing. Jim arrived within an hour to look at what we thought we needed. I must say, Jim was very honest and did not try to sell us more then was needed. The bid was emailed to me within a couple hours of him leaving our home. The 5 Star crew installers are very professional, polite and very neat. When they were completed, everything was immaculate. The Gutter Dr. Plus, and 5 Star crew will be our go to for any future work to be done. We will definitely be recommending this entire company to family and friends.

Had some questions - needed my gutters cleaned, but also wondered if they were still good, and needed some repairs on the downspouts and to decide if we needed drainage from those downspouts replaced or not. He was prompt and answered all my questions, and didn't try to sell me services I didn't need. He ended up just cleaing out the gutters and fixing a few downspouts and other spots. His crew was polite and speedy, good prices too. I recommend!

Jim Jackson came out and found the problem as to why our gutter wasn't draining properly during the recent heavy rains. We appreciated his prompt attention and his ability to solve what turned out to be a pretty simple issue. He didn't try to sell me anything, which is rare today. Please call him if you have ANY gutter or downspout issues. I will be telling my neighbors, too.

I highly recommend Gutter Doctor Plus. They put on our gutter helmets more than ten years ago. The helmets have worked quite well, no problems or unexpected maintenance (occasional hosing off to clean should be expected). When we had our roof re-shingled recently, the roofer took the helmets off but didn’t want to re-install them, saying their guys are not experts on them and aren’t familiar with all the varieties. So we called Gutter Doctor and they gave us a prompt and reasonable estimate, and they did the somewhat tricky job very well (the roofer left all the helmets in a jumble, so it was a puzzle to figure out where they went). Gutter Doctor cleaned all the helmets and put them all back where they belonged - the gutters work again as they did originally. Throughout, Jim Jackson and his crew were responsive, considerate, and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Although the Gutter Doctor was delayed by bad weather, when he came he diagnosed and repaired my second level gutter that was pulling away from the house. Excellent job!

The gutters on my pole barn were iced up and falling down, I was referred to Jim at The Gutter Doctor. He came out the day I called him even though the weather was horrible. He secured what he could and planned to come out within the next few days to finish up. We had a lot of rain and melted snow and we had terrible flooding - I reached out to Jim to tell him about the situation and he and his crew still came out and completed the job! We talked about him rehanging the bent gutter but to my surprise they replaced the bent gutter at no extra charge!! He was very kind & knowledgeable and his crew did a wonderful job! I consulted with him when he came to my house to look at the water damage and my eaves troughs and downspouts, and he helped me with a plan and was kind and generous, and very respectful and caring for me and my property! I would trust him with any gutter or downspout or yard drainage issues! he was responsive and very knowledgeable.

I’ve worked with the Gutter Doctor for years - for work and my personal residence. They’ve always done great work for me.

I called to get a quote—he said he would be right over—waited all day….this guy is the most impatient, unprofessional and discourteous person I have ever encountered. I would NEVER use him for any work…period. If you need gutter work done you are better off with anyone else. After his tirade directed at me and flying explicative(s) I would say he has serious anger issues. He completely lost his mind after I told him I did not want roof hangers or anything attached to the roof. That was it. NEVER AGAIN.

I had some gutters completely unattached from the fascia of my roof. I initially wanted to go with a roofer whom I worked with before, but after being quoted a rate higher than I thought was possible, I gave Jim a call. He asked me to send him some photos and he would give me a quote. On the same day, i not only got a quote, but he completed the job for a very competitive price. I know that if I ever need gutter/roof services, Jim is the guy I will call first.

Zero stars. Jim did not complete the installation, it has been 2 months now and he will say he is coming and never show. I run a business from home and the drain he has yet to trim is a safety hazard for the children. I will not recommend this company to anyone else. I am currently looking for anothecompany to complete what he was paid to do.

I have used the Gutter Doctor twice. The first time he cleaned my gutters and installed gutter guards on my home, and installed a rain gutter and gutter guards on the back of my garage. The second time, he installed an extension on one of my gutters after I had uninstalled a rain barrel. He showed up the same day I called him and completed the work quickly. He (Jim) is very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this company!

Jim Jackson (The Gutter Doctor Plus) removed our gutter covers (which he himself had previously installed) in preparation for a new roof. Roof was completed July 2, and Jim finally returned to reinstall the gutter covers on August 25-26th. The reinstallation was done substandard, with many areas needing additional work. Jim acknowledged this when I met with him on September 7 to go over these areas, and he told me he would return to finish the job properly. He has refused to come back, however, and repeated texts, phone calls, and emails go unanswered. In addition, his attitude towards me, the customer, has been appalling and condescending. Don't make the mistake of using this contractor! He is not a man of his word and if there are any problems with the job, don't count on Jim to come back and fix them!

Would highly recommend this company! Jim did the installation on mine and my neighbors garage by himself, all in one afternoon. Gutters look great! Thanks Jim!!!

My neighbors had trees removed and a chunk took the gutter off half the front of my house. The removal service paid to replace the gutter. Jim Jackson came to the house about a week later, alone in the truck. By himself, in about an hour and a half, he replaced 20 feet of guttering like a champ. He was friendly, fast, and the gutter replacement looks great.

I found The Gutter Doctor on Google and contacted him. Jim responded quickly and made it out the next day to look at the work and provide an estimate. As a general contractor I will always use The Gutter Doctor from here on out. His gutters look fantastic and perform even better. Jim has great amounts of experience and performs the work seamlessly as are his gutters. He installed seamless gutters on two of my properties. He has grand amounts of experience and more than enough tools and know how to meet any challenge. On top of that he pointed out a chimney in need of repair and provided a contact for that work who also only spoke highly of Jim.

I hired Jim to install gutters and downspout extensions. He took my deposit money and did not start work on-time as promised. After numerous calls, text messages and emails he showed on a Monday two weeks ago and started work. In two hours he broke one downspout and cutoff existing sprinkler line. I asked him to fix them when i noticed thunderstorms in the forecast but he did not care. Hence I terminated his contract before he start work on gutters. I've never come across any professional with such poor work ethic and unprofessionalism. I don't recommend his service...btw the address mentioned on the website is incorrect. There is no GutterDoctor plus office in Ypsilanti.

I tried to use this service but was told multiple times that he would be here the next day to clean the gutters. I’m writing this almost 2 weeks after the last time he said he would be here tomorrow. I have not heard from them since then. I would give them ZERO stars if that was an option.

I called the Gutter Doctor Plus after seeing a positive review on Next Door. Jim was quick to respond with a same day quote. His quote was fair and the service was excellent. He even gave me insight to the condition of my roof, a service he does not even provide and that he had no vested interest in. I appreciates that so much! It's difficult to know who to trust out there and Jim Jackson is definitely one of the good guys.

Had a gutter with a giant ice dam fall. Called and they came put on a Saturday. Fixed and happy!
