Fantastic experience. Our team was Steve, Ian, Preston, and Dave. They were on time very efficient and professional, and were careful to clean up their mess during the whole process. Definitely recommend.

Had 7 windows replaced this summer. Very happy with the process, and my windows. Steve, Ian, Dave and Preston were quick and efficient with installation. It took my sister and I longer to hang blinds afterwards than it took them to install windows.

Preston and crew were awesome. They were here on time that morning and got to work. They worked hard and even though they ran into some issues with work done with some of the work that was done prior, they plugged away and did what they needed to finish the job.
They did great work and cleaned up during job and at the end before leaving. I’m so glad in went with Window World

I orginally met with Brian to get an free quote for the windows that had to be replaced. Brian was extremely down to earth and did not pull any of those extra selling tactics other companies do. The quote blew my mind as it was actually affordable compared to the other quotes i had received. On the day of installment, i had the pleasure of meeting Ian, Dave, and Preston who did an amazing job. Exteremly respectful, efficient and explained everything i needed to know. They cleaned up as if they were never even there and the windows are so beautiful. I cant reccomend window world enough.

SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! Window world uses cheap quality units that they charge you an arm and a leg for, then refuse to stand by their product.

We purchased our house in 2015, and new windows in the master bedroom were part of the contract. The seller decided to unfortunately use WW, who also neglected to mention that in order for the windows to have the "Lifetime warranty" they advertise, that the buyer (us) would have to submit our sales contract AND pay a fee to transfer it. ANY sales rep that has any shred of decency and half a brain should have drove that point home when he/she knew that the house they were installing the windows in was being sold, so the new owners could have the peace of mind that those new windows they asked for in the contract were in fact ACTUALLY covered AND potentially become a future customer for other windows in the house that needed to be replaced down the line. But maybe they advise against that at their sales training, because they know that the windows are junk in the first place.

So my biggest issue is WHY should something that supposedly has a LIFETIME WARRANTY against craftsmanship defects need to have that warranty transferred...? So Here we are, 10 years later and three of the 7 windows have moisture between panes, EVERY single one has a warped frame and two of them leak so badly you can feel the breeze from the outside if your two feet from it, and Window World has nothing more to offer than "I'm sorry but you didn't pay the warranty transfer fee". MIND YOU we replaced several other windows in our home with Pella's about a year after moving in and have had 0 issues WHATSOEVER with them.

Do yourself a favor and find another company that doesn't have BS clauses in the fine print shedding them of any responsibility of the inferior product that they peddle. Save yourself the headache and your wallet.

Window world installed my windows over 20 years ago. A few years in, the argon went bed and the windows fogged up. They replaced them. It was the year all the argon went bad on windows.
One leaked after some time, they fixed it. Had a few other issues over the 20 years and every time, they were friendly, sent someone quickly, and fixed the issue. My sister went with another company the same time I bought mine because they were a little cheaper but with the same warranty. That company went out of business.
I am thankful I chose window world all those years ago! They stand by the warranty and workmanship. I highly recommend. And after 20 years they all still look good!

Window World is the best, Windows, Siding, Leave guard gutters, Porch Enclosure, Through the years sometimes adjustments need to be made, some that are lifetime warranty and some just wear and tear, My favorite technician that periodically comes out his name is Matt, This person goes above and beyond and has stated to me several times during a conversation that it is about the customer's satisfaction and this it his priority. Requested a quote for replacement windows. Received an email/call promptly for a consultation. Met with Wayne. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Will be using Window World for my windows.

From initial email requesting a free estimate to today’s installation of all new windows we couldn’t be happier with Window World of Tidewater. Price was lower than some other area companies and there was NO pressure or gimmicks to get us under contract. Good communication throughout the project.
Where Window World of Tidewater excelled was installation. The 3 man crew of Ian, Steve, and Preston arrived on time and after a quick walk through, they hit the ground running. They obviously had worked together before and had a system that was efficient and productive. The crew cleaned up after themselves as they went and was very respectful of our property. Each team member was personable and engaged in conversations with us during the entire installation. We were amazed of their skill taking out the old windows, often time addressing and overcoming issues encountered from previous install shortcuts, and quickly getting the new windows in. Their workmanship was top notch and I am jealous of each of their caulking skill.
The windows have reduced outside noise and will no doubt improve insulation.

Recently had Window World come out and replace a large window in our living room. The crew, Ian, Steve and Preston did a great job. Very respectful of our home, very professional.

We installed our new windows in 2005, and they still look and work great. Several years ago one of the locks broke, and Window World came out the next day and fixed no charge.

Very happy with my new windows from Window World of Tidewater in VB! I had the windows installed in 3 phases and WW was very flexible in scheduling the installation. Special thanks to Mike and his crew for making my existing blinds (which are inside the window wells) and inside soundproof windows work with the new windows.

My experience with Window World of Tidewater has been a mixed bag. Our salesman, Brian, was knowledgeable and helpful during our initial contact with the company. It took almost eight weeks from the time we contracted until the day of installation and then there were problems with two of the windows. Our picture window came in without the window grids as we had ordered them and one window frame came in damaged. The lead installer was very good about documenting the issues and assured us that he had contacted the home office and replacements for these windows would be ordered. Ten days later, I called the front office to report two other issues that needed to be added to the repair list. The woman I spoke with said she would need to research one of the issues and get back with me. She never got back with me. Four days ago, I got a call to let me know they wanted to come out on the 15th of January to replace my picture window. No mention of replacing the damaged window frame. The woman on the other end informed me that she had no record of a damaged window frame. Keep in mind that the 15th of January is 43 days after the original installation and now it appears that they didn’t even order the new window frame. Do you think the woman called me back to update me on the status of this window, no she did not. I’m not impressed with the front end of this place. And if you care to read further, I’ll show you another area where Window World of Tidewater cuts corners on their window installation process. If you look at the attached picture, you will see an installed window prior to the installation of the trim. Note at the bottom, the spray foam seal and no seal on the sides and the top. The installer's explanation was that the windows come with a seal around the top and sides and the spray foam was not needed. Might be so, if the window cut out was precision, but they chisel cut the opening. Nothing precise about the opening and I think anybody that looks at this picture would agree that they would feel better about the seal if they had taken an extra 10 seconds per window and sprayed foam around the gaps on top and sides. They get away with it because they cover it all up with trim and then go inside your home and caulk the inside of your window.

So, Window World’s customer service continues to fall short. Let’s review the timeline for my window replacement:
October 10, 2024 - Contracted with Window World to have 14 windows at my home replaced and wrapped. Paid half the cost of the work.
December 3, 2024 - Installation team arrived and performed the work but two windows were defective and needed to be reordered and replaced. Paid the remaining balance with the assurance that they would take care of it. Always a MISTAKE.
December 23, 2024 - Window World called to schedule to replace one of the two windows. They had not reordered the other window. Never received a status update concerning the second window.
December 28, 2024 - Submitted this google review documenting the issues with this job.
December 30,2024 - received a call to schedule replacement of both windows on January 24, 2025.
January 24, 2025 (day of scheduled replacement) - received a call to tell me that they couldn’t make it due to illness. No problem, people get sick. Rescheduled to January 28, 2025. By this time, you would think that I would be a priority. Not so at all.
January 28, 2025 (day of scheduled replacement) - received a call to let me know they would not be coming because they couldn’t fit me in. Rescheduled to February 6, 2025. Now, I’m retired, but what if I was taking off work for these appointments. Window World makes the cable company look like the Chick-Fil-A of customer service.
Total days from contract to completion (if they come on 2-6-25): 119 days (4 months). Entire houses are built in this time frame. I do not recommend that you sign up for this. Research other window companies. The biggest isn’t always the best.

Very organized when they came out installed the windows 15 in about 5 hours made sure I was happy before they left, great service!

Ian, Steve, and Preston did an awesome job replacing 20 windows in our house built in the 1970s. They arrived on time, kept the work areas clean, and finished in a day. We converted multiple sections that had 2 or 3 double hung windows right next to each other into huge sliders, and they took extra care to make sure the trim where they removed the mullions were repaired (we were responsible for sanding a few areas and painting which was expected). Thank you!

Contacted them for a estimate to replace my front door they did show up on time and contacted me prior to confirm the appointment. However the salesman seemed stumped with my door opening space and after 40 minutes of pressing nonstop buttons on his pad said he will have to talk to his production manager and see what they can come up with and get back to me no later than 3 to 5 business days. It's been 14 days and no email no phone call no estimate no explanation my house was built in the 1930s and has a 5 and 3/4 door jamb not a standard door jamb size but not a big deal to a custom Carpenter also I have old original glass blocks that was custom framed out next to the door.

unfortunately the salesman said that they would have to remove all that and I wouldn't be able to get glass blocks because the old ones that I have are 6 inch and they only make 12 inch or bigger now so what his recommendation was on site was just to install some 2 by 4 or 2 by 6s on each side of the new door and then put the new 36-in door in the center and then put the trim around it and be done. I told him I don't want that I want to either keep the original glass block or get some type of side light or come up with something better than just a door that's when he said well I'll have to get with my production manager and I never heard anything since then and I would not recommend them because it's not professional not to get back to somebody whether you can help them or not.

Steve, Ian, and Preston came out to do two of our doors on two separate occasions. They did an excellent job, while being efficient. They answered all our questions and were easy to work with. We will use window world again in the future.

Justin showed up with a team of 5 and replaced 13 windows and a garage access door in a very impressive and timely manner. They were on site at approximately 9:30 and at 1 PM, with cleanup all done and walk around inspection completed, we were wrapping up the final paperwork. They have the process down to a science! I was very happy we decided to go with WindowWorld of Tidewater. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend.

We haven't even had our windows installed yet, but I wanted to write a review regarding the process of ordering our windows and signing the contract. We are from VA and still own a rental home there while living on the west coast.
We talked to several other window companies who would not help us because we couldn't be there in person. We were motivated and ready to get the work going but felt as if we were treated poorly.

In comes Brian with Window World. Extremely responsive, zero pushy sales like the other companies, and was respectful of our west coast time difference (!!). He went to our home several times and talked us through different options. We decided to do the entire house and his non-pushy sales style was one of the reasons.

From sending contracts, getting signatures and deposits, and even a last minute change (we requested) at 4 p.m. on a Friday, Brian was there to help with such a great attitude. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the crew does and what our new windows and sliding glass door will look like.

Company does not clearly call out all concerns you should have about your installation. Hope you know everything there is to know about windows before installation otherwise if you don’t think to ask they will brush off your concerns and move on. The company not only left garbage in and around my hope when they were done, they damaged my shower in the master bath. Also, there was never any warning about my old blinds not fitting back for the new windows. This was never something I considered and it was not called out by the sales people. I brought up my concern and the install manager, Jackie Hoffman, basically told me oh well, but we don’t care we already got your money.

I would highly recommend West Shore Homes if you are in the market for new windows. My mom is having her windows installed today, loves them, and I warned her about the blinds issue in advance and since hers do not fit back like her sales person assured her they would, West Shore homes is replacing all the blinds for my mother at no cost. Definitely go where the cost is comparable and the company actually cares when they screw a client over!

WW is the best! I needed two panes replaced. Scheduled the appointment. He was an hour early and in and out in 5 minutes!

Window World of Tidewater replaced 21 windows in our house last fall. I couldn't be more pleased with the entire process. The salesperson, Brian, was very knowledgeable, had a delightful personality, and was a low-pressure type. Six weeks later, as promised, a large crew arrived to install our windows. Only one man worked from inside the house; the rest worked outside. The inside man carefully covered our white carpets, and the crew brought vacuum cleaners to clean up any small pieces that dropped. The crew picked up and removed all the debris in the yard or the bushes. The entire crew was polite and professional and did an outstanding job. We questioned them throughout the process, and they happily answered all our questions to satisfaction and offered us additional information about the product and the care of the windows. The finished product is beautiful, and I couldn't be more pleased. I waited several months before writing this review to ensure the windows would be air-tight through the winter. (We get strong winds off the water.) Indeed, there are no leaks from the wind.

NAILED! (9) Old wooden windows removed and replaced with double pane windows at my mother in law, Barbara Shearn's house yesterday. Wood trim replaced, everything wrapped, sealed and caulked. Mess? Barely noticeable and disappeared completely. All this in less than (2) hours! From sales to price to replacement we couldn't be happier! Top notch professional team with outstanding work ethic! The installers did a great job. They are long time employee of Window World and know what to do even when they run into an issue. We were installing a larger window. They meet a few challenges with this window but solved any of the problems professionally.

From the moment we scheduled an appointment for a window quote, this company was so communicative and responsive. Our estimate appointment was quick and painless and the price fell right in line with what we expected to pay. Two different guys measured our windows to be thorough and safe. Windows had to be ordered but arrived and were installed much sooner than we were told to expect, which was great! The installation crew arrived on time, ready to work, and got the job done incredibly fast. It is obvious they are a well-oiled machine that knows what they’re doing and how to work together. They all were super friendly and very detail oriented! They even went above and beyond by fixing the interior sash and casing of one of our windows that we had expected to do ourselves. I had new windows installed in 2016, and just recently had a issue with the lock set to lock but the window was still opening. I called and a tech was sent immediately showed me the quick fix. Service was great!

I was very impressed with the level of service, the timeframe of the install was remarkable as well as the cleanup. Additional customer service was provided to me, given that I had recently been in an accident. The crew was just awesome!

Time between quote and actual installation was great, less than the quoted 12 weeks. Everyone was nice and polite no problems at all, windows matched old windows as requested. Would recommend using them, the rime it took to take out old windows and put in new windows was very quick.

We have used Window World before and were confident they would do another excellent job for us. We had all windows on the back of our house replaced (27 incl transoms and a large Pallidum) Team of 7 (no subs) arrived on time and protected flooring and entries right away. All windows fit perfectly. Team went the extra mile in ensuring we were satisfied with all aspects of the installation. Very Satisfied!
