What a great company.
I had a leak in my ceiling, and once the plumbing issue was fixed, the plumbers recommended that I call Neptune Restoration to see if I had issues with mold. I called them and the gentleman I spoke to said he could probably have somebody out there within the hour. I hung up the phone and about five minutes later I had a knock on the door. Darin from Neptune Restoration was there to look at the damage. He said it wasn’t anything they could work on because it was just a drywall issue and I could get a contractor to do it. I was very relieved that it wasn’t a big deal. Then he told me he would cover it for me until I found a contractor. Not only did he cover it, he sprayed it, wiped it down, and then covered it with plastic. What a wonderful experience and so unexpected. This was an OVER THE TOP excellent service experience.

I was referred to Neptune by Atomic Plumbing after a leak was discovered behind the wall, behind the cabinets under my sink. I contacted Neptune and they came out the same day to do an initial assessment. They quickly assessed the situation and started work immediately. They were willing to work with my schedule and were very flexible in that regard. I worked with Darin and he expertly explained the damage and what was done to dry and clean the area. My insurance company denied my claim and Steve from Neptune linked me with a public adjuster to try and appeal it. That was very much appreciated. Had a great experience with Neptune Restoration. They came within 30 minutes of calling them for a leak, cleaned it all up and placed a dehumidifier for the night. They came back the next day and cut out anything that was ruined and are in contact with my insurance company. All the guys that came in my home were respectful and polite. Highly recommend. We recently had a major water leak in the bathroom, and Steve and his team, especially Thomas, were incredibly responsive, professional, and supportive throughout the entire restoration process.

This is my 2nd time using Neptune, and they have come out same day or next day, usually within 24 hours to take moisture readings, and set up equipment to begin drying things out. Absolutely call day or night, even weekends, leave a message & you will be called back.

Steve, Kevin, Darrin, Brian, James....I've dealt with all of these guys, very professional, courteous and will explain in detail the issues at hand, the process involved to remedy the situation, while working quickly and efficiently to protect and prevent more damage to your property.
They also work directly with the insurance company to get things resolved, sending any pictures, readings, evidence necessary to the adjuster.

Called them on Tuesday about my concern involving a backed up toilet flood, and Darin was able to come out within about an hour to assess the situation. What could have been an extremely stressful anxiety filled experience was completely turned around by these men at Neptune restoration!
When I woke up to my house flooded I panicked and picked up the phone and was recommended to Neptune restoration! I immediately called , the calming voice reassured me all would be ok.
They showed up within an hour and had my house organized while explaining every detail to me. After the plumber left they came back like they said and had my house in order, neat with fans and humidifier set up in no time. My house was left in perfect condition.
There are 3 brothers and a few other young men helping them. I can’t remember all their names but they were all so professional , kind and neat!

Neptune Restoration is nothing but amazing! We used them for a significant amount of water damage to our condo in 2023, due to a pipe bursting in our attic. They came out super fast and assessed the situation immediately. We started mitigation on the spot and they had our water dried up and ready for repairs for a quick turnaround. Fast forward to New Year’s Eve 2024, and again they did not disappoint. We had a much smaller amount of water damage due to a neighbors water leak seeping into our condo this time. They promptly sent a tech out to look into my issue. The tech left with a promise to get back with me with an estimate, and never heard back from them. I have reached out to Steve multiple times through phone calls, voicemail and texts messages, all ignored. Not an effective way to communicate and do business.

Faced with water damage and possible mold, in both my kitchen and connecting guest bathroom, I didn’t know who to contact.

I called two companies regarding a water damaged bathroom. One came out a couple days later to give me an estimate, but never returned my call afterwards. We would like to thank Neptune Restoration for the outstanding services they performed in our home these past few weeks. Very professional, friendly, caring, and helpful in the whole mitigation process of preventing further damage to my basement from a pipe leak. Neptune Restoration a) responded quickly to my request for service and b) promptly assessed, diagnosed, and c) removed, cleaned, sanitized, and dried all the affected areas. Mr. Steve Kellogg was extremely helpful in explaining the mitigation process and further actions to maintain a dry and clean environment. He provided great recommendations for my concerns in dealing with the insurance and finding contractors to detect and fix the leaking pipe(s). Brian and his team come to our house in Virginia Beach due to a recent water damage the occurred while we were away. The frog room and the garage suffered water damage and my insurance deductible would not cover the damages. His team access the damage, clean the and dispose of the affected area and set up a dehumidifier to prevent further mold. Tim and Steve are awesome is the BLUF. You really do not want to see these guys as that means that something awful has happened, however there are thorough and communicate more than expected for your normal business. They are also helpful with advice and dealing with insurance companies.

We needed quick action to mitigate an upstairs water pipe leak. Neptune stepped right in and contain the damage. A very professional and dependable service.

(I’m a little slow with posting this, but wanted to be sure I did it so I could talk about how happy I am with the work Neptune Restorations did.) I had the unfortunate experience of having a pipe bust in my bathroom late one night (end of April), which subsequently ran into my crawlspace and air conditioning vents. I called a plumber to fix the issue that night since the water had to be shut off to the house to stop it from continuing to flood my bathroom. The plumber recommended I contact Neptune Restorations to help with the water mitigation. I called that evening and left a message, not expecting a call back that night since it was after 9pm when the plumber got there. To my surprise I was contacted by the owner that very night, and he arranged for his co-owners to come to my house the next morning to assess the damage. They arrived promptly, assessed the damage, and advised me to call my insurance company because it would cover the cost of the water mitigation and subsequent bathroom repair. (I honestly had not even thought about calling my insurance company with the stress of the entire water debacle.) Neptune would have started working on the issue that very same day, but my home insurance provider took a little bit to get back to me. Neptune was able to come the very next morning, and get started while also accommodating my need to be at work later that morning. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. They were professional, and extremely helpful. They answered any questions I might have had, and kept me notified of anything that they were doing or needed to do. They also handled the billing with my insurance provider, which I was happy to let them do because it was one less thing I had to worry about. I found everyone that came to my home to be extremely pleasant and down to earth. I hope I never have to deal with something like this again, but if I ever do, I will definitely contact Neptune Restorations.

You can imagine that having to have your home pulled apart is a stressful experience, but Neptune Restoration armed us with information about the process and how to handle our insurance claim. They were very professional, extremely responsive, reasonably priced and they were available with short notice. If that is not enough, Darin worked with us personally when we found additional areas of damage not covered by our claim. He answered questions about our concerns, helped us decide on the best approach and did not pressure us to make a decision at all. I cannot recommend Neptune Restoration enough, they are hands down the best at what they do! I recently had a pipe leak under my stairs and my plumber recommended Neptune. I gave them a call and Brian came out to my house later that day to give me a free estimate. He was extremely thorough, kind, and patient with all of my questions. He found that not only was the water where I saw it, but it had actually made it into my laundry room, kitchen, and downstairs bathroom all under the tile. It would all need to be removed since the tile had separated from the floor.

Unfortunately my husband had a miscommunication with our insurance company and they sent out another mitigation company to start work. They came late Friday night and it was the worst experience ever. They brushed off all of my concerns and made me feel dumb for bringing them up. They were only going to do the bare minimum and would not be removing the tile even though it was damaged. I called my insurance company first hung Monday morning and told them this company was awful and I will be using Neptune instead!

They came ready to roll and got all my floors up and their equipment set up in no time at all. They were incredibly thorough with their containment (see attached pictures) and set up some air purifiers as well. The other company had no interest in using one of those which just shows how much more Neptune cares for their customers.

Every employee that came to my home was respectful, kind, and always on time. I never once felt uncomfortable or dumb for my hundreds of questions by anyone. They really turned a bad situation into a pleasant one for me and I’m so grateful.

We had a pipe burst under our Master bath. It was a Sunday and Super Bowl Sunday at that. These guys responded to my call immediately and showed up first thing Monday morning. Their communication skills were top notch! They started the drying out process to prevent mold damage first thing Monday morning despite their already heavy work load. They removed all the wet damaged flooring, drywall and framing. They were also very clean, neat and tidy. They came back daily to check moisture levels and remove more damage materials if needed. They were very professional, courteous and polite. All their workers were extremely respectful of us and our home. I’d highly recommend them.

Our dishwasher leaked under our floors causing a lot of damage that extended outside of our kitchen area. Floors, cabinets, and parts of the walls had to be removed. Neptune’s team was absolutely amazing! Every step of the way they were there to help and it really made the situation a breeze. I can no say how happy I am with their prompt and professional service. Tim the technician that came to our house was great, he explained everything through. We were dealing with mold and water damage in different parts our home. He even found asbestos flooring that was unsafe in my kids room.
