Walked into Walt’s after viewing some of their vehicles online my husband and I were there to just look at some of their vehicles because the online pricing seemed too good to be true. When we arrived there was one lady at the desk and a young man. The young man didn’t miss a beat he. Was several desk further away from us than the young lady and instantly greeted us. We sat we looked at cars we test drove and ultimately purchased a vehicle from Walt’s! If you want great prices go to Walt’s if you want immaculate customer service and to feel like you’re hanging out in the living room with family rather than a what could be a stressful car buying experience ASK FOR AARON FOUNTAIN!!! He is the Best Sales man I’ve dealt with!!! Such a great personality, not pushy and thorough! He ensured we received everything we needed and wanted as well as a great price and payment within our range!!! Go see Aaron you will not be disappointed!

Honestly had a terrible experience today at this dealer ! Walked in to check out their challenger when I was greeted by a very unprofessional sales guy answering personal calls in front of me, also sales managers taking forever to give me some numbers while chit chatting and eating lunch instead of helping me out and also the challenger was dead and empty when we went to go test drive it could it get any worse ? Idk but I'm surely never going there again ! Tell you what I've had such a better experience at the valdosta dodge I'm never coming here again. New dealer looks nice tho that's why I gave it 2 stars.

So disappointed. I've only ever had my diesel maintained at a dealer. Recently both batteries died and i let the tow truck driver suggest this dealer over the one in LakeCity. Paid double for the battery replacement AND a week later my turbo went out. Found a portion of a screwdriver in it. Presumably dropped during the battery replacement. Dealer takes no blame. Says they dont use that brand of tools in their shop. I guess they buy all their mechanics tools. And the customer gets the shaft.

This review is more for Jeep than Walt's...never had a problem with Walt's, but bought a Jeep a few years ago. This weekend, it developed a "Death Wobble." Sounds scary, I know...What can Jeep or Walt's do about it...nothing but charge you to fix it, The Jeep is 5000 miles out of warranty and Jeep says the dealer can do something and the dealer says Jeep can do something...all the mean while, the Jeep might just "Death Wobble" to pieces...

The sales person the only sales person I dealt with was Veronica and she was awesome I will send anyone that wants a car or truck to her

Through the entire process Blaine Freeman, Service Tech, addressed my service needs, she was diligent to keep me informed every step of the way. The service provided by Walt's Live Oak CDJR and Blaine Freeman was timely, remarkable, and outstanding.

Only taking 1 star away because they were a bit understaffed (probably because it was a Saturday) and it took 7ish hours to finish everything up. The staff that were there were VERY knowledgeable and helpful. You can tell they care about their jobs and enjoy working there! They problem solved all issues that came up and had so much patience with the process as well since there we did have a lot of questions that came up with the vehicle we found online that we drove there for. The hurricane did affect this dealership but they were still up and running. I look forward to seeing their new location.

I highly recommend Waltz Live Oak Dealership for their repair services. They were professional knowledgeable and did an excellent job on my Ram truck. Michelle had me in and out in no time. Great coffee in waiting room as well.

I drove over one hour to view cars that Jose recommended in my price range on Saturday at 5pm. I rushed there for their opening at 9am on Monday to see them. We'll José never showed up and another salesman and the manager did not have any idea about those vehicles. It seemed to me it was a classic case of bait and switch. Beware...

We’ve been using Walt’s for a while now after a friend recommended them. They’re a significant distance further from where we live than another CJDR but the service center here is second to none. They are clear, responsive and super easy to deal with - not to mention repairs are done very well and in a timely manner.
Michelle is an absolute delight. Cannot speak highly enough of her. Our truck had some issues and she kept us in the loop and didn’t get exasperated with my almost incessant phoning for updates. They got the issue fixed super fast and she even took our truck for a spin on her lunch break to ensure everything was working correctly.
All in all, a breath of fresh air after dealing with horrible service departments, rubbish customer service and clueless mechanics for so long. Walt’s is the best around, no doubt about it!

Even though there is a dealer closer to him, My son drives a good distance just to use their service department. They can see him the same day or the next day after he calls. They’re honest and their recommendation always corrects the issue.

I saw a price online and when traveled to Walts they gave me and outrageous price after about and hour going back and forth. I was also willing to do a trade in and was insulted by the on staff manager that my vehicle was only worth $300.00. I was VERY disappointed with the way I was treated. After giving them all of my financial information, I just had to leave without any satisfaction. When you post one price online and you go to work out a deal and they say you looked at it wrong, it's time to go to another dealership. Shame on you.

A new Lady in the service Department, I don't remember her name . She greeted me with a big smile. . She came to waiting area to give updates. The Staff who came in the waiting room were all very nice and spoke. In these days of luke warm encounters I was quite impressed. Literally it was just a good visit and will call them again. Had an intermittent no start issue with my 2018 Jeep Wrangler, had three mechanics go over it before taking it into Walt’s. We were greeted and checked in by Michelle Jones, she was so welcoming, professional, made us feel like family! Assured us that the technician would be able to find the problem, and sure enough that same day she called and told us that no start had been solved, the technician/technicians Roy Chris Barry had traced down the problem that no one else had been able too! I can’t give enough praise to the Service Department and Customer Service Support and the Technicians at Walt’s Live Oak Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, I would recommend them highly! Service personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. Got us checked in and out within an hour and a half for oil change and tire rotation.

First experience will be the last
1. I had to call for status on my vehicle in for service after 2 full days.
2. Implications that I didn't know how to fill my gas tank. 2020 Ram 1500 would continually not take fuel. 20 min plus to fill. Then wanted 179.00 service fee for "diagnostics". Which was disclosed from the beginning what was happening. Nothing done to rectify the problem.
3. Tail light was leaking and would not have the head liner cleaned nor replaced. Said that was on me to go through my extended warranty.

It was horrible, my Durango was there for more than 2 weeks and when I got it back , the FCW light was still on. The cruise control is not working. They didn’t repair the car at all and didn’t put it back together properly before giving it back to me with less than one on mile of fuel in tank

Went in with a vehicle still owed on but wanted out of and had my sights on a vehicle they already had. Sent in the request and managed to communicate with me promptly. Had the vehicle ready for me to see and test drive. Have answered any follow-up questions I have had quickly by text. Honestly they gave the southern friendliness that made dealing with them easy. Would go again in the future.

My truck broke down on the way to a job site and the dealership was closest to be able to do some work. They fit me in their schedule on an emergency appointment and was able to replace my transfer case under warranty in under 24 hours. The staff were courteous, kind, accommodating and I would absolutely recommend this dealership 100%! I wish they were closer to where I lived so that they could be my everyday dealership.

Took the car in when we struggled to get it started. It apparently only needed a new battery. I could have gotten the battery replaced elsewhere and been charged half as much. It should not cost over $500 just to replace a battery. I guess I should have known better than to go to a dealer.

It's never a good day when your vehicle breaks down, I had a problem with my Jeep. I called Walt's in Live Oak and explained my issue and they were very helpful giving me info on towing company's to call. I am new to the area moved to McAlpin from Ft. Lauderdale. The mechanics were professional and helpful explaining the problem and getting it fixed in a timely manner, I was back on the road in 2 hours. The service tech even help with I problem I happened to mention about water dripping from the sunroof. If I ever need work done on my Grand Cherokee, it's going to be Walt's in Live Oak.

The service dept is great. Very friendly, I have gotten the best customer service from Cameron and the staff in the service dept.

Tony, the mechanic, who took care of our truck, was like family, and explained everything going on with our RAM system, and handled all the problems and all of our questions professionally and attentively.

I've had really good experiences with the sales department on my wife's and my daughters new jeeps that were purchased there as well as their service department.
The service department tries to help with any issues you bring them on any automobile in as timely and economic way as they can. I haven't been disappointed.

Regular vehicle service and warranty work scheduled and completed with no issues. Friendly and knowledgeable service advisors and technicians.

Update 06/16/25: They have moved into a new facility, and it's really nice. The customer waiting area is open, roomy, and comfortable. They have water, ice, coffee, and soft drinks. Also, service technician RJ has worked on my vehicle several times and treats it like it's his own vehicle. Every service he has performed has been flawless. He takes the time to ask if there are any new concerns, listen to my answers, and address all my questions.

The reason I am giving it three stars is because the service was excellent. I was en route, and I was a traveler, but my dodge was still going into limp mode. I'm not sure if the throttle body is clean, but I spent around 350 and 2 hrs to have it fixed. I'm disappointed because it is not completely fixed.

Friendly service. Decent price! I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off like I did in Kissimmee Florida at Napletons dealership!
I was kept informed on the repairs of my truck.
I highly recommend Walt's dealerships service department and the entire staff when checking out.

Friendly staff. Analyzed the problem one day. Had to order parts. Called to let me know the parts arrived. Then took a couple of hours to install. But I was happy.

Update below: This dealership is awesome!!! I bought my truck 2 years ago and have had gremlins every since with my electrical system. I originally took it to Gainesville dodge and was told nothing was wrong and leave it to the professionals that it was their job to know. When I took it to Sunbelt they went out of their way to make me welcome and accommodated my crazy schedule. They explained everything they were doing to try to fix my truck, stayed in touch with me and even showed me the codes that were showing up on my truck. I have been back to them several times now and each time they are very pleasant, helpful, and do wonderful work. THANK YOU!!! for a great service department!!!

I have been using Walt's now for 10yrs and will continue to go back!! They went through a short period after Mike, the service manager, left where it was a little rocky but now they seem to be doing well. Cameron, the new service manager, really cares about his customers and goes out of his way to make sure that customers are happy. He makes sure to keep you informed as to what is going on, what the time frame will be and tries to accommodate loaner cars when available. (He's limited by the dealership's willingness to purchase/provide more loaners). Walt's is getting ready to move into a new building soon and hopefully the service department will get the much needed upgrades they so desperately need!! The techs are phenomenal and very respectful of our vehicles. They even went so far as to make sure the shifter and 4x4 knobs where back on straight after replacing the clutch in our Jeep.
Service departments at dealerships are often the ones who get blamed for everything and accused of charging for unnecessary things but I can honestly say this one does not!! Thank you Cameron and your wonderful staff!!!
