Walmart Supercenter - Amite, LA

Great experience with this walmart. i recently visited in search of many items and was graciously greeted and helped by one of the employees. Walmart in Amite is AWESOME! Everyone is SO helpful and kind. I love shopping there when we are in Amite! It would be great to have a Walmart in Franklinton too!!!

The self checkout not for me they don't give me a discount to do there work !!! We try to keep the people in a job and make them smile. !!
Walmart what can you say

I tried to return a headphone set as it did not fit my ears and had to buy it first to find out. Then, I didn't hurry to return it, and missed the 30 days from purchase date, not made clear at all without me reading thru all the documents. Good trick WM, and you get to keep my money and I have a perfectly good Skullcandy Push Play headphones that won't stay in my ears. And, no way to check it before purchasing it. I will give you no stars for the deception and never buy tech stuff from Walmart again. FYI I don't want to read thru pages when it should be communicated up front. Lesson learned.

The store was neat and stocked well. I accidentally scanned a item twice and needed to remove one of the items. The system said a associate was on the way. No, she wasn't. I had seen her rushing around like a busy little bee in that area before I got there, but at that time, she and another lady were looking at one of the registers. She wasn't the one working on it, so, after I had waited a few moments, I gently sang out, "Excuse me." She just looked at me and went back to watching what the other woman was doing. She didn't say, "'Sorry,' 'kiss my foot,'" or anything. The other lady looked up but didn't say anything, either. The system removed the product for me itself. As I was leaving, the associate from whom I requested help was back picking up baskets and straightening the area. I only saw part of her name tag. It looked something like Yolene. I wanted to speak to a manager, but we were traveling and needed to get moving.

Easily accessible from I-55. On the day I went, it was actually very easy to get in the parking lot, decent parking spot, get what I needed, get checked out and I was on my way in under an hour! Your typical prices for a Walmart and typical service.

One of my favorite places to shop I usually go to this location daily !! The employees have such great personalities and are respectful every single time they waste no time helping you or providing service ! That puts a smile on my face each and every time ! 10/10 satisfactory every time !
