Great company!! Very thorough and quick. Had fortified roof installed by them, and they managed to have paperwork and work done all within a week! Don’t be fooled by companies that are just trying to make money while tax incentives are currently present. This company is the real deal!

Vincent and his crew did an excellent job with our roof. In addition to installing all new shingles They also replaced several sheets of rotted plywood at a very reasonable price. The job was done on time. Excellent work and the crew cleaned up our place spotless I would definitely recommend them.

First off I will say Vincent was golden from the second we met him til the last step of our Fortified Roof process. Never let opinions overshadow his information. Shiflett totally replaced my roof in November of 2024 - both my pitched roof and a flat roof on the back of the house. I held off on making a review until some time had passed to ensure the work held well, and I’m happy to say, it has been absolutely perfect! The Shiflett crew (Beau and Niko) were wonderful to deal with from beginning to end, explained everything thoroughly, got me in quickly, and completed the work and cleanup in just two days. The roof looks great and I have had no issues or leaks since, despite very heavy wind and rain. I’ll definitely be using Shiflett again to redo the roof on my shed. Thanks guys!

I will preface this with, I am a VERY hands-on client that knows exactly what I want and will walk the site periodically. I told Beau this on the front end and I still got a fair price. This is a roof, and if it goes wrong, you have a lot at stake so going with a local company that has good reviews, and a brick-and-mortar building made me feel comfortable. Beau came out to my house and walked it with me. After that he gave me a price with everything broken down. I agreed to the price after additions were made and we moved forward. They came out, removed the roof by 10 am and repaired some holes with news sheets of ply not just a patch. They had the roof installed completely and 100% cleaned up by 6 pm. They had to come back out for the next 2 days to fix a really complicated flashing on my house (100 yr old attached to old original siding) and after some brainstorming together, it all came together. This is what I had done. New: roof, all flashing, drip edge, lead vent boots, whirly bird, 16' facia 2x6 treated; they removed my original Chinese vent on my ridge primed and painted it and reinstalled it and front nightmare flashing problem. It all came out beautifully. It was very efficient, as soon as the dumpster was full, the other truck was here to back up with the shingles. Great group of guys and quality work.

I saw the company’s vehicle with their advertisement in the parking lot as I was going into PJ’s in Slidell. We were in the process of closing on a house and it needed a new roof. I spoke with Mr. Vincent, who was very informative, easy to talk with and wasn’t pushy. After speaking with him, he traveled to the property in Poplarville and got me an estimate that evening . I had three other estimates and they came in under everyone else. Once the job started, they had me a whole roof replacement in 1.5 days… on a two story house with attached two car carport. This included all the bells and whistles on the roof. Mr. Vincent updated me as the progress moved along and cleanup was spot on. Our roof is beautiful and it’s such a peace of mind knowing it’s been done right. I hear horror stories from some people when it comes to these big jobs like this, but him, along with his company, really took care of us. If anyone I know ever needs any roofing work, I will recommend them. I know they do siding as well, and this is something the wife is already talking about changing later on with our house… So I’m just going to keep Mr. Vincent’s number saved for that next job .

I work offshore and my schedule is hectic at the very least. We had some issues with our roof (Thanks to the poor workmanship self-done by the flippers that sold us our house)

Vincent with Shifflett Roofing answered messages on the weekend and they even sent someone over to look for damage/cause for leaks and gave an estimate to repair that same day.

We decided to redo the roof and have new decking placed to prevent any future concerns (This is where the flippers cut a major corner, new shingles over old slatboard deckikg w/1-2"+ gaps)

My work schedule got moved up unexpectedly and over this past weekend I asked Vincent if they could come earlier than originally planned and they made it happen!

It's hard to find quality companies that will work around someone's schedule and I didn't even touch on the quality of workmanship yet!

I found Shifflet after wonderful reviews and recommendations from friends. From the very beginning, Beau was outstanding at communicating with me and was able to come out almost immediately to inspect my roof and help me with my problem. He was extremely knowledgeable and went the extra mile to make sure my estimate was correct (which was very fair and reasonable) and that everything I needed done to take care of the problem was understood with nothing missed.

They were able to come out within the week to replace my roof, which was a lifesaver. During the installation, Beau and the team sent me pictures of the process and even an aerial shot of my whole roof. I couldn't be more grateful for Beau's incredible communication, his attention to detail, and his responsiveness to our needs.

I finally called a new company for a 2nd opinion, and they pointed out many instances of poor workmanship and corner-cutting and recommended another full roof replacement.

I hired these guys in November of 2020. My roof STILL leaks TO THIS DAY, in the same place I went to when I called them in the first place. This is embarrassing. I have a tarp on my NEW ROOF, RIGHT NOW. After paying 20,000 for this level of service, I have never been more annoyed or taken advantage of.

EDIT: Reporting in that these guys came out and repaired the "work" that was done initially to my roof. I plan to take down my one star review after it rains hard enough to matter and it is proven that the work was accomplished successfully.

After spending an appropriate amount of time researching roofing companies in the metro area, I contacted 3 companies for roofing services. All 3 companies came out for an initial inspection.

Of the 3 companies that came out initially, Hunter from Shifflett Roofing followed up with me the fastest. He contacted me within a day after the initial roof inspection and then completed an estimate which he emailed to me.

Hunter was a key reason I decided to select Shifflett Roofing.
He stayed in constant communication with me, and the fact that Shifflett had a crew ready to get the roofing work started within a week's time frame made a huge difference.

When we met for the second time, Hunter went over the entire project from start to finish, including the cost, timetable, contract, materials, labor, warranty, cleanup, and handling any unanticipated issues that might arise.

The work crew arrived on time and started the work early in the morning, and worked throughout the entire day. The majority of the roof was completed by sundown, and the crew returned the next day to finish up some minor, final roof work. The entire process was wrapped up by mid-day on the second day.

Hunter oversaw the entire project. Tim, the owner of Shifflett Roofing, drove out to my home while the work was in progress and introduced himself. He thanked me for my business, and climbed atop my roof along with Hunter to inspect the roof and make sure the entire project was going smoothly.

Two other Shifflett staff members did commendable work.
Rick delivered all of the roofing materials along with the dumpster in a very timely manner. And Vinnie came out and took drone footage of the roof after it was completed.

Shifflett made certain that the cleanup process was thorough, with Hunter in the final stage walking around my driveway, lawn, and backyard with a rolling magnet to pick up any loose nails that remained.

All in all, looking back on all of the factors that went into this replacement, I would definitely recommend Shifflett Roofing to anyone needing roofing services.

Omg where do I begin. This company was beyond professional from beginning to end. They were very informative about the process and maintained communication throughout. We had a new roof installed by them and they arrived on time everyday and continued work until the sun was down just to complete the project in the time frame. I am a high-performance contractor and have very high standards. I explained this to Vinnie and Tim. They assured me they understood my expectations and could meet them. I informed them I would be overseeing the job. They also assured me they would have their very best crew on my roof. Their quote was $3,000 higher than the others I received. However, I had no issue paying for the quality I wanted and they said I would get it. I asked and was assured the workers were their employees. This was important to me. However, the crew was challenging to communicate with and out of Texas. The photos show areas of concern and poor craftsmanship, which I brought to their attention. This is unacceptable to me for what I expressed I wanted and paid for. Unfortunately, I hired Tim and his crew with high expectations and was severely disappointed.

We discovered a leak on a Thursday and called Shifflett. Hunter came out the next morning and found an even larger hole in our roof. His team had us all patched up by Tuesday. They were fast and thorough. Shifflett Roofing will be our go to for any roof related issues from here on out.

They installed our gutters (half round) in a timely manner. Very professional and very happy with the work they did. Fairly priced. Would use them again. 5/5 stars

I worked with Vincent and he was on time, professional and easy to work with. The crew got the job done in 1 day like he said he would. They picked up the mess and left the site clean when they were done. This isn’t a fly by night roofing company. It’s great knowing they stand by their product and their word.

Last, but not least your professional staff of men who worked tirelessly to hand nail my shingles, and clean up the area each day to the end of the project. They were friendly and professional as well. I have already referred 3 individuals to call Shiflett Roofing. I am extremely happy with my new roof! My damages were from Hurricane IDA.

Update 2024: they never made the gutters right, and the slope of my flat roof.. to boot, when the house flooded from having the roof open and not protected from rain, they tried to dry the flooded areas, sadly all the floors have failed since the rain flooded my room while they were working on it.

We have tried for years to get them to make it right, and they just keep blowing us off. And never showing up when they say they will.

Despite having a good a warranty on paper, they do not stand behind it and getting anything fixed correctly is impossible.

Materials and workmanship both excellent.
Great warrenty. Answered several questions and was happy to keep us informed and edjucated in the whole process. I'm a tradesman as well, so I'm pretty picky on the technicalities.

Fully liscensed, bonded, insured. Issued a estimate on-site and in writing. Job was completed within budget as well!

I will update my review in a year after the build has settled.
