This company was incredibly professional & easy to work with, they provided a reasonable quote, job scheduled quickly, removed a large oak that was very close to house, left site very clean, and even followed up afterwards to ensure job was completed satisfactorily…I very highly recommend!

Contacted Tree Masters to remove a large Bradford Pear tree for my sister-in-law. Tyler at Tree Masters contacted her and promptly set up a removal date. Once on the job, the crew worked diligently throughout the early morning and afternoon to remove the tree. She was impressed by their adherence to safety standards, both for the homeowner, and for the safety of their employees (helmets, rigging, and safety vests - due to their work near the road). I am very grateful for their help and for the professional manner in which they handled the work required to remove this tree. The tree had been damaged by lightning. The crew removed all debris from the job site. Great job!!!

After some wind about a month ago I lost a third of my Bradford pear. After contacting three different contractors to remove the rest of the tree the quotes were unbelievably High. A friend of mine suggested I call Tyler and 2 days after contacting him the tree was down, and the mess was cleaned up. They did an amazing job for an amazing price. They are the only ones I will call from here on out. Thank you to the crew they did a wonderful job.

I can’t recommend The Tree Masters enough! Last week after the 3rd huge limb fell from a dead tree in our yard in a month, my husband called them to look into getting a quote. Tyler worked us into his schedule that same day and was at the house within 2 hours. He was very knowledgeable in looking at the trees we were concerned about and gave us recommendations and options for various services.
Working around the weather he was able to schedule us 4 working days later. The crew was timely and efficient and took down 5 dead and dying trees in no time! We also requested that they leave two of the trees so we could cut them for fire wood. Not only did they cut the logs into 14” sections for us, but they ricked them along our fence beautifully. We did not expect that level of care and they have gained customers for life!

Asked for a tree to be chopped down, they chopped down a tree (without damaging anything and cleaning up the mess). You really can’t get a better, more clear cut (pun intended), reputable business to handle the job. 10/10 would hire again.

I contacted Treemasters to get rid of a large invasive dense forest of bamboo that was beginning to overtake the house. Tyler was very responsive and prompt with all communication and quotes, even pointing out other issues with trees on the property we needed to consider. Flexibility in scheduling and payment methods was much appreciated and the crew showed up in a timely manner. They handled it all and made multiple trips to dispose of the newly mulched bamboo. They came back the next morning to complete the job and spray so it doesn’t come back. Very impressed and highly recommend their services.

If you want some large trees removed down to the ground, areas cleaned out, trees trimmed, fallen trees removed, and your yard raked and the debris removed, then you need to contract with The Tree Masters! They came out the same week we called, provided an estimate, and were back within 2 weeks to complete the job. Great work and reasonable prices.

I used their service last week to get some trees pruned heavily. I explained to them that I wanted to make sure my grass gets ample sunlight so it can grow. They came 3 days later and did an amazing job and very quick. The price was very reasonable and I am definitely using their services again!

I have become part of the fan base of The Tree Masters tree care company. Our tree care concern was thrust upon us by way of a home insurance cancellation notice. And trying to address their concerns, it was my idea that we needed to trim back limbs that breached our roof line, and that was their chief concern. When informing different companies to come out and give us a quote I became familiar with the difference between a tree hack, and a true arborist with pure interest and satisfying not only the insurance companies needs, but ensuring the longevity and health of the tree itself. That’s where Tyler the owner of the Tree Master’s company came in. 1st, he had already had intimate knowledge of this particular tree in that it’s uniqueness and part is that it is approximately 220 years old that got my attention, 2nd he educated myself on the realities of trimming a tree back in a irresponsible manner that way would’ve all but guaranteed the future existence of this tree. This man has a genuine love of his craft that balances the concerns of his customers with the concerns of the tree itself. I don’t have to tell you how I was impressed with both. And he even went far beyond what you might expect Draft a letter to address the concerns of the insurance company. I made a point of copying this letter so that if I hear anybody even whisper, any concerns about pruning or tree services of any kind, I would be happy to share with. It’s a real pleasure doing business with a company that has such outstanding performance. It’s even better when they go above and beyond that!

The Tree Masters exceeded expectations with removing 2 down trees. Cutting down 2 leaning trees. Plus the crew removed ground debris/cover and trimmed the lower branches of the existing trees. Highly recommend this company.

I get it, scheduling challenges occur, but as a reputable company, please be mindful that your customers time is valuable as well (sitting waiting for hours), we have jobs, families and other responsibilities. To schedule an estimate and then not come, follow up or have the common courtesy to call, text or return a voicemail is unacceptable. Please do better.

The Tree Masters executed a spectcular rescue of my cat who was trapped about 40 feet up and quite far out on a limb of an old oak tree. They were incredibly fast to respond, very professional, and worked quickly and effectively. I am so lucky to have found The Tree Masters today!

I needed two trees topped that were right next to a couple buildings on our property. Treemasters responded quickly and came out just two days later. The crew did a great job and were careful around the buildings and the nearby power line. They left the rounds (which I asked them to leave for me) in neat stacks for me to split later. Next time I need some tree work done, I’ll be calling treemasters again.

Tyler and the team were fantastic! Our large oak has been cleaned up nicely and looks great. They even left the yard cleaner than when they got here.

Had the treemasters come out and prune some big trees for me today. They arrived when they said they would and did a fantastic job, left the job site all cleaned up, highly recommend!

Owner Tyler came for estimate. Day of the wk another man came & I showed him all trees to be trimmed. He then left workers unattended for 3 hrs. We ended up cleaning up branches & such that were left behind. Gave Tyler another chance in Sept to remove 3 trees & grind stumps. Set date came no show, told me I had see wrong, scheduled again, then had equipment breakdowns. Wouldn’t return calls or texts, never showed for job! Very unreliable!

Hired them to remove a cluster of trees. They did a nice job and avoided a fence the trees were close to. I would hire them again.

Rooted in care is the slogan on their website. They have no care for the safety of people/children in my neighborhood. They have done multiple jobs in my neighborhood recently and I have seen them speed numerous times. They are speeding in a massive truck while pulling a trailer. God forbid a kid ran out, they wouldn't be able stop in time.

After over a year trying to get some tree clearing done I came across Tyler and his company, he responded quickly came out the next day , gave me what I feel was a exceptionally fair price, and was on the job the following week!!! Him and his crew were very friendly and professional did exactly if not over and above what I expected, left the site clean as a pin!! I even had some additional work which they promptly tended to as well. Don’t give it a second thought if you need some work done just give them a call stand back and watch them go!!

Great team and phenomenal service! Inquired about having some very large trees trimmed in the front and back yard and they were able to begin the service same day! But talked with Tyler anyhow set up appointment for day before yesterday said he had to go get his guys going in the morning but he would be right over after that around 10-10:30. I called him at 11:48 he advised me oo I had to go to gloucester Im on my way was just gonna call you. I advised him to late I had somewhere else to be. He said ok I can be there when it's good for you tomm morning. I'll put your 1st thing at 9 am. I will call you around 8:15- 8:30 let you know I'm on my way. We'll again no show. I called him by mistake but hung up. 9:17 I get a call from him oooo mmm I had something come up. I'm on my way be there 10 minutes that was 9:18. 9:45 I texted him forget it I left already!!!!!.
If you can't show up for estimates on time what will you do on job day????
I had my own bussiness for 25 years I would be there when I said for eatimate or to do job !!!!! If I wasn't I would call and advise not ignore people. Things happen but 2 times in a row.???? That shows me your either to busy for my job or just horrible bussiness practices!
I won't give my bussiness or recommendation to a company like this !!!
I just recvd a call from Tyler very upset about my review. He advised me he was stopped by VA state police and required to do a DOT inspection he didn't have his phone on him.
He asked me to remove this review.
As explained to him that this happened 2 times. He explained his personal situation.
I will give him 4 stars because he called me to explain. But I can't remove review totally.
I'm not trying to take food off his table by a review as he stated. Once ok but 2 times no.
If you have alot going on be honest with client tell them your pretty busy it will be a cple days. I would have understood and not left this review. I would have left a 5 star review . That is the purpose of these reviews to voice your thoughts on services on google. To make other people aware of what you experienced.

Guys worked hard and cleaned up well. They worked with me to save the chunks I wanted for fire wood. Excellent pricing as well.

We had two very large trees taken down in our front yard. We called, and promptly received a quote the same day (Wednesday). The very next morning a crew of 4 showed up and worked the entire day to get one tree down and start on the other. Friday morning, they returned early to finish the job and complete removal of the second tree. The crew was constantly cleaning up and mulching limbs as the tree climber was dropping them. I was quite impressed with the continuous work on a very hot (close to 95 degrees) day. The company owner checked on the operation in person and kept in contact with us by phone. The price was right (which we paid on Friday when the job was complete), and we are totally satisfied with the service provided by Tree Masters.

Tyler came out and was very helpful and knowledgeable about how best to trim/remove some very large branches on my 100 YO oak tree. I was concerned about accidentally killing the tree by cutting these branches but Tyler explained the best way to accomplish what I needed while not harming the tree. His crew arrived promptly on time and expertly climbed the tree and began removing the branches. The tree was located in an area not accessible to a bucket truck so they did it the old way, by climbing up, securing the branch, then cutting it down. They removed all the debris and was down in a few hours. Very impressed with the work, and price, and will be using them again. Highly recommended

He came out to give my elderly mom (I am her unofficial caretaker) an estimate, and it was a fair price. He is licensed and insured, which is important to know upfront for any type of property work. I believe what struck me as most impressive about Mr. Kline-equal to his professional work- is that he genuinely cares about his customers, and he has integrity. They were horrible dropped a tree on my home did thousands of dollars in damages very unprofessional and I believe the owner tyler had been drinking due to the strong smell of alcohol after he came back from lunch.
