I found Founder's Insulation through Dominions Partner Program. I worked with Brian who walked me through all the details and patiently answered all my questions to make sure I was making an informed decision. He provided me with several recommendations before deciding on a mixture of improvements. His team was very professional and easy to work with. My energy bill was cut in half after working with his team! I recommend working with him if you are looking to redo any insulation work!

Best Estimate and an Excellent Job. Already recommended this company as the best choice to 2 neighbors. Founders gave us the best estimate - no sales pitch - just facts. The work was done very professionally - no mess. We had blown insulation in the attic and foam sealing in the basement.

Founders Insulation was great to work with! They took the time to explain everything to me and were extremely efficient in their work and timing. They were also very respectful of my home. Lastly, they didn't hound me like other companies to sign for their work; they did a normal follow up and then waited for me to reach back out when I was ready to do the project. Highly recommend.

Great company to work with, from initial contact they were very good at explaining what was needed and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. I got scheduled right away for getting an estimate and it was very reasonable actually, I will say the best price from the 3 estimates for foam insulation I got. The crew that did the insulation work was excellent any little thing they had to move for the insulation they put back to same location once done, they did an excellent job cleaning the entire site after the work was done which I very much appreciate as I have dogs. They left the studs clean and ready for drywall install, overall great experience. If you are looking for a company to help you with insulation I highly recommend them as I had a great experience with them.

I recently had Founder Insulation come out to insulate my attic with blown-in fiberglass. I'm incredibly impressed with their work. Founders arrived on time and completed the work as agreed upon. The workers were pleasant and professional. We compared 5 companies' estimates and Founders gave us the second lowest estimate. We chose them over the lowest estimate because Founders was far more responsive and did not try to hard sell us.

Working with founders was great! We were having a variance of 8-10 degrees from our main level to our top level of our townhome. So we call Jaime and Brian at founders. They came out quickly and gave us their suggestion on what to do. We received the quote the same day and the prices were very reasonable for the three options provided. We moved forward with one of the options for air sealing, adding more insulation, and adding some decking for storage. Everyone was fantastic to work with. After the work was done, there is only 1 degree difference if that and our quality of life has greatly improved. Not to mentioned the new storage we have is amazing! Highly recommend!

We had a very easy time scheduling the initial free estimate . The gentleman that came to our property was well informed and fair with the offered pricing . The work was completed within 3 weeks and we have noticed at least an 8 degree difference throughout our house . Very satisfied with the results and appreciated we did not need to be home and take time off work for the installation.

I received the best estimate with Founders Insulation and a very honest report on their capabilities and also what was needed. I unfortunately did not go with them and I will say I regret that decision. Consider them over anyone else because I assure you- that you won't find a better price and you won't find someone as honest as this team. Made a big mistake not going with them and won't make that mistake again.

After air sealing and attic insulation, our house went from an 8 degree difference across levels to a 3 degree difference. Overall, the house is far more comfortable in extreme temps, like this years hot summer. The Founders team was professional, efficient, and fairly priced. highly recommend!

Used Founders Insulation to add extra insulation to the ceiling of my garage, so that the room above the garage would hold the air conditioning/heat better. Their estimate for the work was very fair, actually much less than what my neighbor paid for the same job! Scheduling was easy. The two workers did an excellent job, were very respectful of the property, and cleaned up after themselves. If it wasn't for the improved comfort level of that room, you would never know they had been there!

These folks were awesome, they came in an gave us a great quote with no pressure to upsell. They came in did the job in record time and with no mess! Super happy with the results, we are noticing a big difference already and thank goodness with the heat we are having this summer I expect to save a ton of money too!

I always worry I’m going to be taken advantage of on work done to my house that I know very little about. Founders Insulation proved to be a company that I’ll be happy to use again. Talking to a rep on the phone, they explained everything in great detail. The gentleman that came out to do the initial assessment also went into great detail and helped me weigh my options. The scheduler was helpful and flexible, even when I had a scheduling issue arise and had to reschedule. The installers showed up, were professional, did a great job, were courteous to my neighbors and I, and cleaned up after their work. Finally, I did my research on prices, and Founders’s prices were in line with expectations.

I wish all experiences with work being done to my home were as good as the experience I had with Founders Insulation. Highly recommend.

Founders Insulation was excellent! The best choice by far for the VALUE. The investment to seal my attic (including a hood for the staircase) and blow new fiberglass insulation was less than $3,000 whereas other companies proposed $8,000 to $15,000. And the crew was fantastic! They even helped me clear out some old 2x4s and plywood for no charge. I recommend them as they best bang for your buck!

Founders was an all around great experience. They completed my attic removal of insulation, sealing all the air gaps, and infill of new insulation all in one day. Great customer service, great work, and at a competitive price.

I am doing a remodel on my home and carefully vetting every trade that comes in. Founders Insulation has been one of the best and easiest contractors I have worked with. The crew were timely. They suited up and laid down tarps to keep the floors clean. They worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards. We noticed the difference the next day. The airgapping allowed us to reduce the thermostat which will save us fuel this winter. I highly recommend Founders Insulation to empty, airgap, clean and reinsulate your attic!

Attic insulation - sealed top plates, wiring, other holes, and added enough blown in fiberglass to bring it to R49. The workers are professional and made sure to use drop cloths and cleaned up when they were done. Good price - not the cheapest or the most expensive but professional and there is good value for what they do. The sales rep, owner, and workers provided some education as part of the process.

After meeting with Jeff to go over my particular insulation job, he provided me with four quotes and a range of options. Not only did I pester him with email questions and phone calls thereafter, but he patiently answered all of them, expertly guiding me through the process. Right up until the day of install, Brian and Jeff were there to take my calls and steer the on-site team to make sure that the job was done properly. Not only has the end result satisfied my end goals (insulating for noise abatement), but the thermal regulation and comfort difference was IMMEDIATE. My house felt INSTANTLY warmer and has every day since the install. I could NOT be happier and did not hesitate to refer Founders, Brian, Jeff, and the whole team to family and friends. Thank you, Founders, for the peace of mind from a job well done at an amazing price.

Not quite sure how there are these five star reviews. So I scheduled with them to have insulation installed and we set a date which was about a month out. The date approached and no notification or anything that we were still a go or what time they would even show up so I could plan my day. I reached out to Warren the manager and didn’t get a response from him until several hours after they arrived to do the work.

While here the installers said they would take before and after photos of the work and send it to me. They did not.

I asked Warren the manager to send them to me and he sent one before and one after pic of my crawl space, which there should have been more photos and none of my attic.

I also asked if he could send an itemized bill for tax write off purposes. He said he could before I officially hired them and said he could on the day the work was done.

I reached out to him after the work was done to check on getting the rest of the photos and to get the itemized bill

Nothing.

I told him I can’t go up the ladder or down into the crawl space due to a surgery so I wanted to check what was done with photos.

If you want a company that does what they promise and communicates then try somewhere else.

Very professional, price was reasonable, work was easy to schedule, the crew arrived on time and completed the work on time as well. They broom swept up any loose fill insulation and asked me to check the work before they closed up the attic access hatch. I highly recommend them.

Exceptional work. Founders spray-foamed my two crawl spaces in November 2023. These guys are super professional and efficient. From my initial call to the consultation to the actual job completion was about 2 weeks. The pricing is the very best I found after getting three other quotes in the Arlington, VA area.

Brian, Warren and the team from Founders were great to work with. They were responsive from the outset and worked with me to adjust the particulars of my project as we figured out exactly what needed to be done in a 100+ year old DC row home. Just finished insulation job yesterday. The team's professional from beginning to the end. We put our project on Angie's list and the phone rang non-stop . We did book a few companies to compare prices. Out of all sales people, Founders' sales person was the most honest, respectful and friendly. He answered all our questions. Jamie, who came to the house to inspect for an exact quote was also very professional and did a very thorough inspection and very detailed quote. The installation team has been very friendly and respectful too. Overall, very impressed.

I received 5 bids from various vendors to have my attics’ insulation removed and new insulation blown in. Founders gave me the lowest price to do the job. Normally, I don’t take lowest bid as it’s suspect on quality. But I gambled. Excellent gamble. I’ve had a lot of work done this year to my 70 year old house. What I found with all companies is that it comes down to the people doing the work. Founders had two of the hardest working people I’ve encountered. They surpassed my expectations by a mile. I would use them again and that is my highest compliment.

I was having a issue with condensation on some duct work. I contacted Founders Insulation. Jeff Soto came to my home. Spent an hour inspecting the area and asking pertinent question about air flow etc. Jeff found an issue with some of the ducts not being properly insulated. He cleared time from his busy schedule and came back the next day to make the repairs.

I was so impressed with Jeff’s knowledge and his customers service. He told me to contact him directly in a couple weeks to make sure the issue has been resolved. If it isn’t. Jeff said he’d make time to come back out to assess the situation.

I would highly recommend Founders Insulation. Base on my experience with Jeff Soto I’m confident all of the representatives would give the same customer service.

Salesman was helpful and always available for follow up. Crew was on time and very thorough in their work. They hadn’t brought enough material to finish the job on the first day so one came back the next morning to complete it. A small damage was also corrected the second morning. This company was very efficient and effective and I would recommend them.

September 7, 2023 was an exciting experience for us. The Founders Team did a 1-day task of blow-in, batt insulation and other small attic tasks for our whole house. Did a great clean-up job when finished. We shared their business address with our neighbors, families and friends. Highly recommended.

Sadly, I am coming back to update my review as the sound proofing installed in the ceiling by Founders insulation turned out to be a disappointment. I was told that there will be a difference of at minimum 75% reduction in the noise but it isn't even 10-20%. I sent an email to Founders Insulation over a week ago and have not received any response on how can this be fixed. I spent thousands of dollars on this project, was told that the material they are installing is going to be effective but it has turned out to be a disappointing job.
I had a good experience with the people I worked with but I am frustrated that after spending so much time and money, their work did not return the promised results. I am still waiting to hear back and discuss what can be done to help with this.

The estimates for the attic insulation were done in precise and understandable manner.
The recommendations were exact and following application was done in the timely professional manner. I can definitely recommend this company to the friends.

Founders Insulation was so responsive and efficient. We needed some attic insulation replaced after some roof damage and requested they take a look at the whole attic for any issues. They were completely honest and let us know things were fine up there if we didn’t want to do anything and explained everything they found. We wanted to know where we could improve the insulation’s efficiency so they developed a line item recommendation for us to review that included sealing can lights and other openings, topping off the blown in insulation, insulating and sealing the hatch, etc. We could choose to do any of the options or none. Their estimate was very reasonable (we had comparisons from other companies) so we scheduled the work. They arrived as promised and completed the work quietly, leaving our house perfectly clean. They took photos of their work and reviewed everything with us before leaving. Convenient online payment options are provided. We can’t think of anything they could have done better! Highly recommended.

Founders was incredibly responsive and did amazing work. They cleaned up after redoing all of our insulation to the point where we wouldn’t have known they were in our home. I would highly recommend them.

I had a great experience with Founders Insulation for open cell spray foam insulation in my basement ceiling (1200sqft).

Warren and Brian were very responsive, and Alexis and Antonio did a fantastic and honest job. They meticulously filled gaps with foam, and even when some small gaps were noticed after completion, they promptly fixed them by unrolling the hose again.

Their quick response, reasonable pricing, and dedication to a fair and honest job on site were definitely advantages worth mentioning.

We had a great experience with Founders Insulation from beginning to end. Communication was excellent and the crew did a great job. They were expedient with the work and very respectful of my home. Even vacuumed after the attic insulation project. I would recommend Founders for your attic insulation needs.

Got a couple of quotes and Founders were the best as well as leaving a god feel. Attic had the old insulation removed and sparky foam put in place. Stand-alone Garage was also insulated. Crew were great. Worked hard, cleaned up great. Would recommend them!

Founders installed batt insulation in the ceilings and walls of two bonus rooms in our house. They did excellent work at an excellent price!
