Customer feedback for Nova Build Pros is mixed, highlighting both commendable service and significant issues. Many reviews praise the company's communicative approach, quality workmanship, and timely project completion. However, some customers have experienced severe communication breakdowns and unsatisfactory resolutions to mistakes made during projects. The inconsistency in customer service has led to frustration among those who have faced issues, raising concerns about reliability and accountability in communication.
- They were very communicative, worked fast, and provided quality work.
- The workmanship was excellent and the team provided excellent quality control.
- The work is impeccable, and the team is polite and friendly.
- Greg was always nearby keeping an eye on the subcontractors, ensuring a superb job.
- Great customer service, easy to work with, and very conscientious about doing the job right.
- Been trying to reach business all day without response or callback from left voicemails.
- Less than thrilled with this company; they canceled our appointment without notice.
- I could not be any less pleased with the service provided; they didn't follow our specified requirements.
- They measured both the fence and the deck wrong, which will cost additional money.

We had Nova Build Pros install a new deck for us. They were very communicative, worked fast, and provided quality work. We plan to use them again when we’re ready to replace our fence.

Been trying to reach business all day without response or callback from left voicemails. Had a fence installed in 2020 and while there were two major issues (including cutting power cord to outdoor lights while posts were dug), they “corrected” mistakes. Unfortunately there is a third major mistake that has just been confirmed. Noticed lawn smoking yesterday after watering and upon digging up location found the cable used to replace cut line. Cable does not meet specifications for use underground or outdoors. Luckily caught fire when I was home. Hoping business actually contacts back so error in cable can be properly replaced, as if this had occurred while we were away or sleeping it could of been much worse!
Edit 29APR: So full disclosure. All issues with build:
-Apart from cutting power lines (and NovaPro not calling 811 or marking any power lines despite me indicating before build that I had 1) underground power from transformer to house, 2) verizon fios to house, and 3) from surge protector box to street lamp which was cut by their team) which was replaced by Nova Build with a cheap cable.
-NovaPro chose cable to replace with, I am not a professional company and if the wrong cable is discovered to be in place common sense should dictate that the correct cable is used vs risking fire.
-Weeks/months of email traffic where initial build delayed and very difficult to get details despite being very patient.
-Cleared property in excess of area where fence was to be built, provided Nova build Pros official land plats prior to build. Not only did they initially build fence shorter then agreed upon length (they refunded the difference rather then fixing), they actually built the the fence into neighbors property line.
-Upon notification of this they shortened fence off neighbors property line, but would not move paid for length onto my property or refund the now shortened length.
-Finally as many folks have indicated this company is extremely difficult to get responses from and as the response from below (which was used rather then calling me) they would prefer to try and make the customer sound like the problem. Apparently working within their time window and offering water and sodas to their team is not a courteous action. Don’t appreciate the additional lies to try and attack my character.
In short you get what you pay for and would suggest going with a more professional company.
I'm on the phone with Prince William County now to make official report as unfortunately they have chosen to not fix.

As someone who was a first time home buyer and new to the process of contracting I felt Nova Build Pros was a contractor I could trust from the get go. I was looking to get my roof replaced and my exterior painted. Their quote was great and the workmanship was excellent. Chris, Bill and their Team walked me though the entire process and provided excellent quality control. As experts in their field they came back to do touch-ups on the job that I didn't even see when I walked around. Based on my experience I'm not surprised they have been around for as long as they have been that includes being trusted for major projects. I would recommend them to anyone for any size project and will be using them in the future on additional projects that I have. If you are in the market and are looking for a contractor feel free to reach out to me to talk more about my experience.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
