This place is awful. Every time I go it's packed, so you schedule an appointment of time I check in, and my name never comes up on the wait list. Two CSRs helping people while two others and a manager meandered about. Not one person said anything to me until I started complaining after 15 minutes standing there.

Poorly managed, understaffed.

This place absolutely sucks, just signed in at 6:40pm tonight and waited for an hour to get my name called. Finally get my name called at 7:40pm just for the old guy employee to say he won't sell us a new IPhone 16 pro max because it will take an hour to do the transfer, been with this company for to many years to count even before when it was Time warner for internet and been with them for several months for phones. Absolutely a disgrace to a customer who spends $250 a month here, looking into dropping them for my Residential internet and Business internet and phones at this point, that was an absolute slap in the face, if you can't take care of your customers that signed in an hour and 20 minutes before you close then maybe you should change your hours.

I didn’t make it to the counter. This review isn’t towards the employees but simply the business itself. You have four computers to help customers. You’re running two staff members the whole day. Elderly people are sitting there talking about Fido from 2003 how they were a good dog and confused as to why their phone doesn’t have more memory space. Like come on. There were over 20 people in the store sitting and waiting. I left after an hour. Move people along. Get work done. This is ridiculous not well staffed given the weekend and the wait times are way way way too long even if you reserved a time. I don’t want to crap on this location but you are in no position to serve the area if you cannot staff it appropriately. Waiting two hours to be seen is not a healthy example of timely work.

Took off a star because employees never alerted mostly elderly customers that you need to sign in on a kiosk upon entering. People who arrived later were being helped first because of this. Other than that, the staff were great and listened to what I needed and even tried to provide me bundle options so it would be cheaper in the end.

They haven’t even been open an hour yet and one of the two employees doing any work went on break when there is a lobby full of people leaving the slow guy alone. One guy is walking around the place with his hands behind his back doing absolutely nothing. Not sure what he’s being paid for. Such a long wait time just to return their equipment. Clearly they don’t care about wasting your time.

I understand there is some controversies in terms of service regarding the company as a whole, however I found Brian to be very pleasant to recieve service from. Very informative and helpful! DO make an appointment, or you will be waiting awhile!! Thank you again Brian for your amazing service!

Just the worst, not the auburn store in particular, the company as a whole. Was told I needed an equipment upgrade, was sent the wrong router. After multiple calls and more than an hour on the phone I was told that the correct thing could not be sent until I either returned the incorrect router or had a tech come to my house to verify

Just came from the Auburn ME Spectrum store. Extremely rude customer service named Jenn. I tried to reduce my mom's Spectrum bill of $234. to a manageable amount. She is 93 yrs, and does not watch a fraction of what they are charging her for, including Internet. Jenn was extremely condescending and demeaning, and acted as if I was bothering her with my questions. She was not familiar with and didn't want to take the time to investigate ways of reducing the bill. When I told her she was extremely rude, she smiled and said, I'm doing the best I can. Have a nice day. Jenn would not finish out her shift if I were the manager. Horrible service.

Went into the store w a phone I was locked out of apparently due to a malfunctioning system update. Luckily there was little to no traffic and one by one the entire 6 person staff took a crack at solving the issue before I needed to buy a new phone which presented many more issues. The last person ( Brian) saved the day!! He should be a roving instructor I think!! What a star (5)! Thanks doctor!!

My bill keeps going up every other month yet I still receive the same service at an arguably lower quality. What a deal. Prices are lower in areas where there are competitors; sure does get the noggin' joggin'.

Go with literally any other provider if you can. Hell, get satellite internet.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had them for a year and every month seemed to pass and my bill kept going up and up and up. I called and spoke to a customer service agent and the lady very rudely said it is what it is. And I explained I was on a fixed income and that the price is ridiculous, and she said “It may be for you.” I’m so grateful I disconnected my services. I will never come back to spectrum. They couldn’t pay me to return. They argue with customers and they claim they got the best pricing. I call boloney. My first ever bill through them was under 100$, the last bill I got from spectrum was over 150$. It’s not worth it, save your money and go through literally anyone else.

Definitely not a fan of spectrum. I thought it would be better than Verizon, guess I was wrong. When choosing my phone and plan the question I asked was "Is your unlimited data the same as Verizon." Answer from the rep "Yes." After a few weeks received an email stating I reached a limit on my data service. Couple weeks ago went in to pay a bill and I asked the rep about this email. He stated that spectrum gives you so much data and the reserve the right to slow your data activity. I stated how is that unlimited data when I clearly have a limit. Then when limit is reached the internet is useless unless you have a wi fi connection. He offered for me to pay another $10 a month per phone for more data. I told him that if I knew how spectrum done their data that I would have never bought the phone. I never ever while with Verizon had any issues using my data. I should have never left. Yes they may have had higher pricing but clearly better service. Clearly the rep that sold me my phone failed to mention that the unlimited data had a limit. Last phone I get from spectrum.

I was in the store yesterday, 26 March to return equipment. In discussing with Brian that the 92 year old that I was assisting received a notification that her next bill would be $190. He immediately said to me she must be imagining these numbers. I said to him I also saw this notification and I am not imagining, the price of $189.82. he continued to indicate that yes that isn’t possible because at this point she does not owe anything and he’s right the bills haven’t been created yet, but the notice that was received in the mail was to expect your next bill to be that amount. I found Brian to be very condescending and rude to say the least, when I asked him his name, he immediately said, would you like to put in a customer complaint online. Brian was missing the point that I had already resolved the issue about the increase in her monthly bill and remember she’s 92 years old and is on a fixed income. I also said to Brian hey buddy this woman is quicker than you and I put together I have never been so disrespected by a customer service rep anywhere maybe a little more training on how to have empathy.

They took care of my reason for going there. They explained why I will be getting a new cable box. And I was shown a list if new channels to add to my old Time Warner package. I hope my new cable box comes soon. So I can get these added channels. I don't want my little old cable box shut off and be without TV.

The store was very clean and the employees all seemed to be very professional and knowledgeable. I went there for WIFI internet only and I could not be happier with their service. I called customer service with a question and they answered and helped me right away and also sent a tech to our home right away as I needed a new jack connection. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Waited an hour and a 1/2 just to be taken Care of ..have spent about 15 hours in the last 4 days trying to get set up and being on phone. Trying to take care of things is totally ridiculous. prices are through the roof. I have cable,wifi and home phone..

I admit I was worried about the long wait after reading the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to see that you can make a reservation to avoid the wait. I showed up a bit early, and I was seen immediately. They were able to fix and issue I had due to a mistake made by the person on the phone. Now, if only Spectrum had less outages...

If I could give a negative I would. Customer service is non existent. Tried disconnecting service for my elderly Aunt. They would not accept a digital copy of a power of attorney and instead had to spend hours on the phone and a drive across the state to cancel
Service. Save your money. Go with anybody else

I went to set up the basic internet package for my wife’s business, and the manager, Kayla, suggested a 12-month bundle promotion with high-speed internet, TV, and phone, which seemed cost-effective initially. However, my first bill exceeded $690. When I visited the store to address the issue, kayla went to the break room and refused to come out and help me figure out the issue when I asked to talk to her. She had her coworker come tell me she had left for the day, I asked him if she really had left and he appeared to be nervous and changed his story and said she was back there but “unavailable”.

To wrap it up, they were zero percent helpful at the store. I called in to the helpline and after a couple hours on the phone and reviewing file notes (and lack of notes) they also deemed the managers actions as sketchy and something they are looking into further.

I pay close to 80 dollars for internet service half the time there is an outage. Like today we lost internet around 9:20 am when I was in a zoom class I was informed at 10:28am we should have internet back at 11:30 am. When I called them back at 11:30am they said they can't give me information on when the internet will be restored. So paying 80 dollars for internet to not have internet which messes with my schooling and assignments is not very good internet

I have had spectrum for a couple of months and text don't get out and getting them well not getting them. Now I can't make calls. customer service is questionable. The phone is now a limited laptop with internet service. I went to the store in Auburn and they had to replace my sim card. I would pay extra to never have to replace anything. I had a cell phone for 15 yrs then they went digital on the towers and had to get a new one. Had problems ever since. They you spectrum for the new sim card.

6 stations, but only 3 people working and 1went on break. But overall, the place is beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Amazing customer service at this store! Just be sure to make an appointment because if you don't, you'll probably be waiting a while! The staff here are quick, efficient and get you good prices (as a current customer, not JUST new customers) and get you on your way!

The store employees and store manager are absolutely horrible. Zero customer service. The store manager Mark has no business running a store. They had zero interest in trying to resolve any issues presented to them. I would gladly drive an hour out of my way to go to another location then to ever have to deal with such horrible service again. If this is what spectrum has to offer I’d rather take my business elsewhere!!

The only thing slower than their internet is their customer service. Apparently they can afford to have someone call me every day to drop off old equipment but they can’t afford a drop box for said equipment. I sat around for 30 minutes with 8 people ahead of me in the queue, they were still sitting chatting with the two couples that were being talked to when I walked in. A zero star review is necessary.

Talk about a skeleton crew. We were here around 11am, but for no joke 30 customers there were only 2 employees helping. There was a third employee who was a greeter? I don't know why he was even there though and not helping his fellow workers actually doing something. There are no lines or proper waits. You wait to be seen and somebody might take your spot because the greeter is pretty useless. Give the floor workers a raiser, and move your greeter to sales or to push a broom so he has something to do. Don't waste time go anywhere else with your business.
-Edit- I believe a floor manager just came out to help, but it seems a little lax or lazy. Like it took over an hour in a packed room. Now there's 3 helping at least.
-edit 2- the floor manager just left. Good job my guy. Please hire more employees. Including a new floor manager.

I walk in and there is 27 people waiting to be seen . Only 2 workers waiting on customer's and one employee just standing there doing nothing. Then 2 employees walk in to startthere day and go out back but are out there for 30 minutes to 45 minutes. They finally come out and go to there computers . You have an overwhelming amount of people waiting and you stay outback forever. Customer service is not your top priority. I should not have to wait 2 hours to be waited on when you have employees hiding in the back.

Two counter reps could not complete the help with two people in under 50 minutes!

I waited one hour and was with a hand full of people at 10 am opening. During my wait to return a modem, I watched 4 people leave at the 45 minute mark.

At the rate they move they will only be able to help out 8 to 10 people in a day.

Spectrum's service is POOR at best.

Toni Richard’s was outstanding. She assisted our mobile phone switch from Verizon painlessly. She also helped us improve our internet package. Very thorough and personable. Highly recommend!

All I can say is wow . Spectrum mobile is a absolute joke. Payed off one device 3 months ago and they still are refusing to unlock it so I can use it elsewhere ( even though they got my money for it) so it's basically a really expensive paperweight now then the phone I was currently using through them that I've had problems with since day one basically they have refused to take back and replace. I took my phone number off the account now they think they are gonna get 1,050 from me they got another thing coming. I even called them and went in trying to give the stupid device back and they are refusing to take it. How does any of this make any sense.

I definitely recommend people stay away from spectrum mobile they are a extremely shady company and have absolutely horrible customer service

Already have spectrum internet and home phone, so decided to bundle my TV. Went in and they set me up with a package and installation date and time. Waited around all day, disconnected my Direct TV equipment, and they never showed up at the scheduled time. I called and was told the order for the installation was not even put in. Have to wait three more days ! Hooked my Direct TV equipment back up and will see what happens Wednesday. If they don't show up promptly I will be canceling all my Spectrum accounts.This is very unfortunate, because we have always been very happy with Spectrum.

The Specialist are amazing, so is the the services. The thing that lacks is the management (Nathan Futura, Brandon Nguyen-DeBolt, Dennis Hurteau, Enid Coleman), between customers being told they will receive a call from management and not receiving any form of communication at all. To reps being told to fully lie and tell untruths to customers regarding their services, or correction not being told the whole truth. Or even rudely interrupting conversations Specialist are having with customers. Like honestly coming from someone who worked for the company and who got fired for speaking up, the management at this company couldn't care any less for its employees or its customers.

I gave the place 4 stars cuz its not the Specialists faults that the management in the company is so screwed up. They work hard and do everything in their power to help the customers. Just don't listen to management if they try to make any promises.

I went to the store two times to get Apple TV. First time was told I get mine in the mail in a week and nothing. Went in two weeks later and found out it was not ordered! No call or anything to tell me. Ok, story again and then a week later got my Apple TV! Great! Plus, they were able to lower my bill! Supper nice!!! Just got my second bill and it is 14 dollars more than what they said! Wow!!! I called and had to talk to three people and nothing yet done other than we will have a manager call you back in 24-48 hours! A company that makes millions and saying to save me money is not help me save me money at all!!! Yuck!!!

Here we go!! Terrible customer service!!! Can not will not help unlock a full paid device!! Refuses to take back phones yet continues to charge for them!! It's been made very clearly known we do not want the phone. We have also started a ticket with the BBB!!! Just a down right shady useless company!!! Absolutely don't get phones from them. If you have phones now be sure to request it to be unlocked the day it's paid off!!!
