John and Brendan were great. They answered our many questions, stayed present and connected throughout the install, and we felt the price was reasonable. The installation crew were thorough, professional, and cleaned up well. We are so happy with the job and our new roof.

Absolute horrible company that needs to focus more on getting their management in order than conducting any business at all. You know a company is bad when you can’t even make it through training due to the amount of times you have been disrespected, made fun of, talked to as if you were a fool and given no compassion at all for being simply a human being. I wouldn’t recommend this company to dead grass that wished to grow again. Because I’d simply tell the grass, there is no possibility for growth. The only possibility you have would be to remain dead because not even water could bring you back to life. The owner of this company or HR whoever is in charge of the higher ups for the training course that this company had to offer , needs to firmly look into the training manager for the Columbia Maryland location. At the time of my training and still currently as to my knowledge his name is “Mathias” I can only do my best to spell it for he surely didn’t make sure myself or the other trainees knew it. He just expected us to remember everything like he expected everyone to remember and entire pack of freshly learned material after the first day of having it poorly explained to us with many discrepancies, because we were told one thing one day then a completely different thing the next day. This is just overall a poorly managed company, I won’t speak on the business itself for I didn’t have enough time to become familiar with the company, since I was asked to leave for asking a simple, non intimidating and still respectfully worded question; about my confusion as far as the material that is being presented before me. If this company truly cares about flourishing for a lifetime, I’d recommend not hiring non grown up unprofessional and undeveloped little boys, who feel threatened by the greatness that sits before him. “Mathais” didn’t want me to grow let alone be apart of the company, because I could see the look in his lost eyes, he was afraid of the potential work I could’ve brought to the table and longevity to the business industry as a whole. I don’t have any bad blood with the training director nor do I wish bad upon him in any aspects of his life. But I truly do just wish for justice and for him to get what is inevitable to come. Which is to one day be held accountable for his poor actions. And I speak this for not just myself but all my other trainees apart of my class I attended, many that were disrespected and treated as if they weren’t worth the ground they stand on; paralyzed by frustrations too afraid to speak up for themselves due to the fear of losing the job opportunity. This is unacceptable and should not be acceptable. Brightest of blessings.

Edit: You’re a liar, you can check the camera footage and see I walked out freely, I was never escorted out and none of what you stated happened in any of the ways you stated it. That’s the thing about this company they struggle with telling the truth. It’s also interesting that you mention the things you do, how could you be so certain with someone you haven’t identified? Sounds like you have a guilty conscious. You’ll find on your job hunting journey, that pride, ignorance and a poor ego was not worth your job. My encounter was not with “the owner” of this company so it seems you’ll have some explaining to do when this gets the right persons attention. You should be ashamed of yourself.

Southern National Roofing, specifically Justin hock, communicated and walked through each part of the process with me and even came up on a Saturday to revisit our scope of work. Overall, the process was very effecient and clean. The roof looks great and the crew left my house cleaner than when they arrived.

Southern National did a great job replacing my roof. The crew that came out was knowledgeable and kept me informed along the way. They also made sure everything was done correctly. They were able to get me a new roof in one day, within 10 days of the initial meeting with the Project Manager.

I had a positive experience throughout the process. The roof looks great, much better than a local firm. They broke a window cover and replaced it with a new one. The really cleaned up after it was finished. The salesman was thorough and explained the process and came back to wrap up. He deserves the bonus.

Me and my mother had a great experience with southern national. Super professional, very friendly. They explained the process very well. They were on time for estimate and the Install. They worked with us to make sure we could afford the roof. When they were finished, they cleaned up well. Everything looks great. Our project manager Tanner was great to work with as well.

I do not have enough positive things to say about Justin Hock and his team at Southern National. From the initial roof inspection, to the contract signing and all the way through installation, he has been informative, transparent and professional. At no point did I feel I was being fed a sales pitch. Justin was naturally empathetic to my mom's concerns and put her mind at ease as he explained the entire process. Every question was answered thoroughly, every deadline was met and every expectation was exceeded.

The crew that was on-site to do the work were equally impressive. Not only were they efficient with their time, they were respectful of the house & property as well as incredibly tidy. By the time they finished, you could not tell that they had spent the day stripping the old roof off down to the rafters and replacing it. The only thing I could criticize them for is that my mom had to ask the guys multiple times to come down to enjoy the coffee and lunch she made for them.

Quality work, quality people. I would and will recommend Justin and Southern National to anyone in need of their services.

I feel like these guys come to my house every week. When I tell them no, I get a rude response. Most recently by a Kaden O. Why is it so hard to be polite? Ironically I will be looking for roofing next year but will go out of my way to not use this company.

Noticed some roof shingles were blown off my roof due to the rough weather we had in February. A year earlier a rep from Southern National Roofing left a promotional card and gave a free inspection. I called the number and the very next day the company sent our Tanner the young sales representative. He did a quick inspection of my roof both inside and out and then provided a quote. I accepted the quote and proceeded to move forward with the replacement. After about two weeks of waiting (due to removal of my solar panels the) the work was completed in one day. The service was pretty good my pros and cons will explain why I didn’t give them 5 stars

Pros:
* The pitch they give is good. They layout all the options the super cheap roof with only year of workmanship for about $10k of the top of the line install with 50 warranty for 25k. What I really liked is that I didn’t have to call a bunch of contractors and get quotes or do a bunch of online research to see if I am getting worked. I liked this approach and that is why I decided to move forward

* They offered me the top of the line 50 year warranty at about $16k due to them needing to unload some dead stock of shingles

* The financing I got was great. They honored the deal on the information card that had passed expiration. I got no payment no interest for 12 months then payments start at 8% APR. fantastic deal!

* Good communication with the team. Before during and after the install Southern was really accessible. Texting Tanner was easy and I knew where things stood with the project. Close out was even better as well.

Cons:

* I asked Tanner for the cut sheets for my install and he looked at me like I was crazy and took pictures with his phone of each cut sheet. With me spending $16k on a roof he could’ve gave me binder or just gave me copies of the cut sheets. Felt odd

* The sale tactics are a bit pushy. I needed a roof repair and I wasn’t going to be doing things on the cheap. It felt like Tanner was trying to convince me that I should get a new roof but I was going to do this regardless. This home was made very cheaply thus when repairs come do I replace with high quality work. Obviously Tanner didn’t know that but also he’s was young and his age showed. I just wanted to get to the business and move on.

I know roofing is a ruthless business And I know the company wants turnover to keep crews busy. But overall the service and overall process was good. I really like the options they give you. Could I have called 5 other roofers and gotten a better deal? Sure but at what cost and time? Using Southern I bypassed all that.

On March 3, 2025, Southern National Roofing installed a new roof on my house. Prior to the installation, l met with Tanner, their sales representative. During our meeting we looked at the roofs of other houses in my neighborhood, checked my attic (pictures) and he shared with me multiple documents to justify/establish their credibility. Licenses, GAF Master Elite, Certified Shingle Master, Certified Master Shingle Applicator and Certified Shingle Quality Specialist, to name a few. He was unable to be there during installation do to training but he did call me, to see how things were going and if l had any concerns. When we finally met after the installation/clean-up was completed l received the pictures that l had asked for (before, during & after). Based on the pictures, l must admit, that the contractors did a good job. When it was all said and done, Tanner was very professional, knowledgeable and most importantly, he listened to me. If I must say, l would like to think he took care of me like family (within reason of course). Once again, thank you TANNER.

Southern National roofing was extremely professional and your project manager Rahman was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave us the best service to us approved for a brand new roof that will last a long time. Very happy with the results and definitely will recommend to others.

SOUTHERN NATIONAL ROOFING COMPANY IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I'VE EVER CAME INTACT WITH! THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! THEY YELLED AT ME ON THE PHONE BECAUSE I HAD TO RESCHEDULE MY APPOINTMENT. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED UNPROFESSIONALISM QUITE LIKE THIS! I WAS MORTIFIED ABOUT THE WAY THEY TREATED ME! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO NOONE BUT THE ETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! RUN RUN RUN!

Southern National was professional and any time we ran into an issue the team managed to find a solution. We are happy with the results and the work done.

I talked with three different roof companies and Southern National was hands down the best one. They spent hours with us discussing our options to get the best quality for the price and the roofers were super quick an efficient. Project manager called several time during the process to check in and make sure everything was going smoothly and they even visited afterwards for a walk through. We got our roof done recently by these guys! They did a fantastic job and it only took one day! Everyone that helped us along the way was very nice and very informative with everything that was going to happen. We love love our new roof!

Their representative Jordan S POUNDED on our door in Bel Air. This was absolutely unnecessary, and he did it a few times. My neighbors stated same, he didn’t just knock but almost was trying to take the the door of the hinges. They advertise themselves as the “no pressure and no sales gimmicks” company. Well, there is no reason to POUND on doors, that sounds like pressure in advertising. I will never go with this company after this. Do not recommend

It was a beautiful day to get a new roof. I had a 20+ year old roof in much need of repair. The crew started showing up at 7am. Then all the materials arrived and were hoisted up to the roof. They were finished and cleaned up by 4pm. Awesome job!

Over all the job was completed and the roof looks great just wish there Communication was better seems like once they have your money they don’t care anymore

Ignored my two no-soliciting signs, said they aren't trying to sell me anything. Are you kidding me?! I would never use this company for anything - I'd rather pay more with someone else than give money to Southern National, a company that tries to begin a relationship with a customer by lying.

Do NOT let this company in your home. They only know how to lie. Told us the manager would be on site during installation. He was not. Wouldn't answer any phone calls from us. I looked sales person straight in the face and asked him if the loan was fixed or variable rate. He assured me several times it was fixed rate. It was not and now our payments have gone up way more than we were promised. They are shady. Do not trust them. If I could rate lower I would.

Hi world! Do you need a roof, gutters, chimney cap? We did! Woke up to three leaks coming into our Baltimore Maryland home. Southern National Roofing a NC company helped us. How? By sending us Aaron their sales rep from the Maryland branch he examined the home, presented his findings, explained what needed to be replaced quickly tagging in Justin from financing. They worked within our budget and on a date of our choosing they installed gorgeous architectural shingles that brought out the external color scheme. They emphasized this by installing beautiful matching gutters and chimney caps! FIVE STARS!!! Can’t say enough. I was so happy I also filled out a BBB because they are top notch team! If you need their services I recommend them! Homeownership comes with a lot of headaches but they made this a smooth process! Truly happy customers!

Sketchy. I received a "roof inspection report" on my door from Cameron Wyvill with a long list of things supposedly wrong with my roof. I checked my security camera and this man didn't so much as glance upwards. Same for every other house on my block.

If lying is standard business practice I'd assume that buying fake positive reviews wouldn't be a big deal either. If I, or anyone I know needs roof work don't I'll certainly remember NOT to go here.

I received a Roof Inspection Report (visual inspection from the street) on my door. Has it come to this. If I didn't call you to inspect my roof, please do not leave a report on my door. Feel free to put a new roof on at your expense. My roof is not even 10 years old, so please stop it!!

I was very impressed with Chris's Rodriguz presentation. He was very informative and thorough I must admit he is very charismatic. I will add that because of him I would have chosen this company without a shadow of a doubt. Close to the end of the presentation I informed him that my daughter suggested I shouldn't go with the first quote so I had another company coming on Monday he said he agreed but he proceeded to finalize this contract I also asked him would they be running a credit check and the answer was very vague and sure enough it came up that they did. I explained that my husband died and I really am not knowledgeable about things like this and although he was very sympathetic I still felt getting that contract signed was the focus. I seen that I have 5 days to change my mind about using this company and I have decided that I don't want to. This is no reflection on the company as I stated they are very good but just not for me.
