I was very hesitant in the beginning because the salesperson was kind of pushy. In the end, the roof was done. The contractors did an amazing job and I am very satisfied.

The crew was effecient and replaced the roof in 2 days. There was an issue with a leaky back porch roof which the crew fixed in 15 minutes.

Southern National Roofing repaired my roof after hurricane and water damage (which required a large amount of wood replacement). Andrew was the project manager and he went above and beyond to ensure that I understood the process and product I was getting. Brenden also kept me informed and I felt comfortable that this company really cared that I was happy with my new roof. The crew also went above and beyond on cleaning up after the job was completed. Southern National roofing is a professional roofing company with quick service and great communication. Andrew came out the next day and after a thorough inspection, he took the time to teach me about the different roofing materials and had samples as well to ensure I was making an informed decision. With a quick turnaround, my roof was completely replaced within a day. Communication was excellent between Andrew, Brendan, and a few other employees. We are selling our house, so I wanted a roofing quote from this company. They canvases my neighborhood and I agreed on an appointment.Andrew Horner came for "about an hour" quote according to the scheduler. He did an inspection, took pics (but apparently did no measurements for an actual quote). This guy proceedd to "educate" us for 90mins and would've been longer had we not insisted on getting an actual quote before it got dark. He went back outside after getting OFFENDED that we didn't want to give up our entire evening with him. He got angry when I reminded him that this was not our forever home and that we would not be spending 30 grand for a designer roof. He sat in his car for sometime talking with someone on the phone, came back in say WE were rude and refused to even quote it. So, the sales tactic here is to waste everyone's time, talk it slap to death, then turn on the client when they indicate that they do not want to spend what you want them to spend. Is this a new, beat you down and flat out bully you into buying something t o get them to leave kind of approach. He got very angry when we pressed him for an actual number and ask me (who knows nothing and doesn't want o know anything about roofing) "What do you want to take out of the process to save money, then? Like, I was not sitting there with my husband and just some woman he could intimidate. This guy was so aggressive that he honestly bullied his way out of EVER getting a sale from us. This is not how to represent any company and he should rethink this as a career. He flat out ruined our night and I wouldn't DREAM of letting anyone from this company near me or my house.

Southern National is a very well- managed company. All of the people I had communication with were always helpful and professional,from Adam, the sales rep to Brendan, the Project mgr, to Christian, the on-site supervisor, as well as the entire roofing crew. Their work was exceptional, from the quality of the products used, to the timeliness of work, to cleaning up after completion. I am very pleased and satisfied with the quality job SN did!

This review is only for the Columbia, SC area. I would say that buyers here need to be very careful before selecting Southern National in Columbia. In the end we did not select them for 2 main reasons. Most importantly, their price was at least $75,000 above (i.e. $96,000 total) for the same or worse quality roof than the other 3 quotes we received ($19,000-$21,000). Through a detailed apples-to-apples comparison of specs from Southern National's quote vs the other 3 vendors, they offered no better materials/labor warranty, and their quote did not include several of the same details to confirm that it was going to be a high-quality roof. Also, this is the only one of the 4 companies that demanded both my wife and I be available when the salesperson arrived and then the salesperson did not actually go on the roof at all, but rather spent 2 1/2 hours at our dining room table trying to show us all of the funny math that led to the $96,000 quote. When I said we needed to conclude the meeting, he actually commented that he gave "2 1/2 hours of his life" and couldn't I spend time now to do a thorough review. That was off-putting. Once I had completed all of the analysis of the 4 quotes we had received and confirmed that there was nothing more (and possibly less) that Southern National was offering, I called their office and suggested that perhaps the salesperson had made some calculation errors. The manager said he would talk to the salesperson but never got back to me. As I said, I would be very careful working with this company in South Carolina. Get several quotes and ensure that Southern National is competitive price wise, and that they include all of the details about what they will do so that you can be sure you are getting a good value.

The guy came to our house on a Saturday and wasted our time for over 2 hours… would not speak about anything unless the wife was there too, and was trying to build rapport to convince us it would cost over $20k for new architectural shingles. After I told him my wife wants to leave to run errands, he would not quite until she was there too. I asked him to leave and another roofer later did our roof with one of the highest quality brand shingles for only $8000…. The whole idea with both spouses was to price gouge us, convince us how bad our roof is, how good they are, and to “sign now only for a discount” and make us feel bad for not signing with them right away. DONT LOSE ALL YOUR MONEY TO THEM!

I was extremely pleased with the quality of service and workmanship Southern National Roofing provided in my roof replacement. My roof looks awesome and I could not be more pleased. I highly recommend them without reservation!

Starting with the review of our work scope, Andrew discussed a number of work scopes that would be possible based on what he could see from the ground. He told use what to expect based on the age of the roof and what he saw as we walked the job down. He was right on, during the analysis. We were prepared for the outcome when the shingles came off and wood damage was exposed.

The next phase was the arrival of the material, staging, and the “roofers” removing the old roof down to the supporting wooden framework. They are quite the team. Everyone had their work scope identified and the removal and clean up occurred concurrently. This group of workers did not waste time and their finished job looks great. Mother Nature gave it the”downpour/wind storm” test within two days. Everything is fine.

Andrew returned to walkdown the finished product and answer any questions we had. He is knowledgeable and never hesitated providing answers, that we had. Southern has a very good group with roofing team.

Rod was a fantastic project manager.. answered all my questions, addressed any concerns and extremely professional. Highly highly recommend Rod!! Would give 10 out of 10!!

This company is truly awful. Their goal is to push customers into buying a roof even if the roof is not needed. They train their employees to scare customers into a purchase. The company motto FEAR = URGENCY. If you need roof work done, please contact a different business and don't be fooled by the door to door salesmen.

From our first meeting, Justin was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He provided details for how to fix our roofing problems with a lifetime guarantee at a reasonable cost. The job was completed in one day and the water damage and mold was a thing of the past. I highly recommend Southern National for all of your roofing repair needs. One last thing: Justin is a compassionate and empathetic gentleman that treated my wife lovingly... a truly good man.

Southern National Experience with me, Aparna Desai has been very productive from field inspector's visit at the door to the finish product of the new roof on my house in Camden. After the field inspector's report on my 21 years old roof, there was no scam I had seen or felt in the report which had been followed with thorough roof as well as attic inspection by Mr. Frank which had revealed the age of the roof.

Frank's thorough explanation of the type of the materials to be used to replace the existing roof and the southern national certified labor to do the job, was satisfactory enough for me to assign them the job. Mr. Justin Hock did call me to schedule the delivery of the material and date for the roofing. Everything went as per the schedule and the job was finished in approximately eight hours on the day scheduled. 4 days after the job, I do not feel any differently. New roof on my house does look great.

However, now is the time, to reveal the most important point and that is the price. I do feel the pricing is bit high and would be more than happy if it can go down by few more....Oh well, that is a WISH!!!

Great experience. James my project manager was very helpful and communicated everything to me. The work looks beautiful. The job was finished within 8 hrs and the clean up process was just as fast. Highly recommend!!

My fiance and I were not made aware that we were signing a contract at our dining room table. We told the sales guy repeatedly that we did not want our roof to be done as of right now do to financial reasoning of a family of five. He was very pushy we broke and agreed to a 12 month financial agreement that would start in March 2026. He made a phone call which we agreed on a $421.00 a month payment. We had a really rough week last week so we were not answering phone calls and while I was at work the sales operator called me 6 times! Smh. At this point no I do not want to work with them. The sales rep showed up at our door this morning with financial agreement paperwork which went up to 17.99% interest rate and our payment being $589.00 a month! Absolutely NOT! I will not keep this contract! They have not started the roof they just showed up and we found the roofing supplies in our driveway with no delivery date or anything. I do not want my roof done by this company. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do?

Of the 3 companies we contacted to replace our roof, Southern National not only was courteous and professional, but went out of their way to explain every aspect of the job.

Of the other 2, one left a quick estimate that had no details, the other never contacted us again after coming to measure the roof.

Southern National’s crew was here at the break of dawn, and kept rolling until they had the roof replaced. They were very friendly and professional, answering each question I had along the way.

Our roof looks great, and with the warranty, our children won’t have to worry about it after we are gone.

The only negative is that now I have to pressure wash the house to make it look as good as the roof.

Scammers!! Do not fall for these people! Predatory door to door scammers who make up “problems” that do NOT EXIST to try and scam people who don’t know any better out of their money. Banged on my door SO LOUD while I was working from home and would not leave. They never inspected our roof - I have a camera I watched them on outside the entire time. Stared down at his tablet the entire time he was in my yard. Your roof is probably perfectly fine. Go get a second opinion before falling for their tricks.

I had the pleasure of working with Frank at Southern National Roofing. He was very friendly, professional and attentive as we discussed the best option for my roof replacement. The roofers arrived early on installation day and the work was completed in one day. I am very pleased with the workmanship and the care with which the team treated my property. I highly recommend them.

While SNR has a lending company that they use, I chose to use the equity in my home and finance my roof through my credit union. This caused a delay in payment, but Frank exercised patience and kindness throughout the process.

Absolute wizards when it comes to roofing. Fast, efficient and Tremendous work! Suffered through freezing weather and a snow storm and still got my roof replaced in a fast manner!!! Strongly recommend Southern National Roofing!!!!

As I deal with contractors as a profession daily, getting my roof done with Southern National proved to be a pleasant experience. Their professionalism and skill was great!

The roofers showed up on time and started on the roof. They completed all the work and cleanup the same day. The PM assigned, Frank was nice and appeared for the initial meeting and the walk through after. The roofers took lots of pictures on the roof and did an exceptional job. My roof is now safe for years to come.

Wow--we went from thinking we had a bit of time on our roof to suddenly realizing that we needed to beat the clock. Andrew spent so much time teaching and walking through our attic with us before we chose Southern National. We learned so much about the process before committing. Andrew never pushed, and worked with us to find a way that we could manage financially. The work crew was swift and tidy, and the result is beautiful with a lifetime warranty. It is wonderful to not have to worry about this anymore, and we are grateful that if we had to do this, we did it with this company. Not adding photos yet because our large surrounding trees add shadows that do not let the results shine! But we can surely see the difference.

They came out to my home and showed me where all my problems were and never pushed me to use them , I loved the work done on my home and would recommend it to anyone who needs a quality roofer and the lifetime warranty is aqsome

I'm very satisfied with the roof. They moved very quickly. Mr Frank was a great project manager and very patient with us.

The roofing crew arrived early and worked efficiently. They did a good clean up considering sunset was early. The Southern National representative came the next day to pick up old shingles the crew missed. They also sent people to do an additional nail sweep that I requested. We are very happy with the appearance of the roof.

Banged on the door this afternoon saying he was working in the area (doubt it) and proceeded to tell me all these issues with my mother's roof. He said she has active leaks and it needs to be fixed immediately. I said no thanks and then he told me to come outside. I said no I am working and he looked at me funny, as if remote working isn't a thing. He then told me again to come out and look at all the damage and I said no thanks and closed the door. These guys prey on people with their scare tactics and I doubt they even took one look at the roof.

I’m very happy with the work that was done on my roof! Every contact with the field inspector, (Josh Meacham) the workmen, and the VP helping me with the financing, all were helpful, patient, and well informed.
