We got a notification that he was arriving at 1:45 and there was never an update until we got hold of American Home Shield at 4:15 PM to complain.
He only arrived here at 4:35 PM with no explanation or apology
You were waiting the whole afternoon after we got notified that he was coming at 1:47 PM.

I had a great experience with Sears Home Services today. The technician, Billy, called ahead to let me know he was on his way and arrived at a reasonable hour, which I appreciated. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Billy quickly diagnosed and repaired my microwave and took the time to show me how to care for it moving forward to help extend its life. It’s always a relief to have a repair done right the first time, and Billy made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I’m very satisfied with the service I received!

The coil was replaced but the burner still is not heating up properly. On high, the coil flickers on and off repeatedly. Not sure if the technician waited long enough to observe the coil. The food on the stove is not heating up like it should on high heat and other temps. The time they stated they were showing up said 8:45 am. They showed after 5pm. Sears did not notify us all day that they would be that late.

I should have been told before the service man came to my home on June 9th that he was not allowed to pull out the dishwasher and I had to get someone to pull it out. So I had to hire a handyman come to pull it out for $50 including the attachments. . Hector the service man ordered a heat pump but
when another service man came on July 30 it was realized a circuit board was also needed. So finally August 6th the circuit board was put in. They both check to make sure it was running. Hopefully all is good to go now. I had the dishwasher sitting in the middle of my kitchen since June 9. I was ready to have my son (who took the warranty out for me) to cancel anymore service, but I believe in second chances

Tech was out to my home for dryer repair and had to order parts. He said they would be back her Aug 2nd. Now teXt is saying Aug 9. CAN NOT get a human on the phone, only AI. Been trying for an hour now to get a hold of someone. I WILL NEVER USE SEARS AGAIN. mST FRUSTRATING BUSINESS EXPERIENCE EVER. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

2nd visit. Parts arrived. Tech installed 2 thermostats. Tech was nice, but dryer still doesn't work and he told me that I would need to join their program at 60 buck a month in order for them to find a new control board. First tech said nothing about new control board for 400 to 600 bucks. I'm already out 349.00 for other parts and dryer still doesn't work. Sound like a scam to me. If the first tech had told me I needed $1000 for repairs I wouild have bought a new dryer. Find another repair company. NEER AGAIN will I use Sears home repair. Most frustrating experience ever.

I thought going with Sears would be a good thing since it is a well known name and my dryer was originally purchased from a Sears. We paid $138 and our problem was not fixed. Our dryer is not heating, Gavin told my husband it was the electrical cord and that he could not replace it as he is not an electrician, we completely understood. So my husband went and purchased a new cord and replaced the cord, which required disconnecting 3 bolts removing the cord and putting the new one on, simple. Well the dryer still is not heating and we are now out $138 with nothing to show.

1-Star Review – Unacceptable Service and No Accountability

My home warranty company scheduled a home repair with Sears Home Services, and the technician never showed up. To make matters worse, someone signed the service receipt on my behalf—without my knowledge or consent—which is completely unacceptable and possibly fraudulent. I’ve tried calling multiple times, but it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone. No follow-up, no explanation, and zero accountability. I expected better from a company like Sears. I will never use their services again and strongly advise others to stay away.

The tech was great!! Most of the other techs I’ve had did not have the needed parts on hand and ordering parts would take about a week but he did have it in stock in his truck stock. Repair was fast and completed in about an hour. Tech was extremely knowledgeable, customer friendly, and professional. I’ve had 4 or 5 techs from sears work on my appliances over the years and he was the best so far, hands down! Great job and thank you!

The sistem needed defrosting, and it would take a few hours and the técnitian did not empathize on the note that I was already waiting to be served for 3 days, and he was expecting me to wait another 4 days to come back and finish the job., knowing that my house was burning hot.
