Pyramid Roofing

I will break this review down into 3 parts: Estimate, job and clean up. And this is for two houses on our property.
1. The estimator was very punctual and came within a day of my calling. We had a leak that was exacerbated by the torrential rains in May so I was eager to get a quote.
One thing that impressed me was the thoroughness of the estimator. He climbed the roofs, went inside the attic and was there for over an hour. I felt that this was important to give us the fairest and most accurate quote.
I was happy with the quote, it was reasonable and included some extras that were not on the other quotes. For example we have a low slope roof and parts of it will not accommodate a ridge vent, so they included 4 roof vents for exhaust venting.
2. Due to the all the rain in May and early June we obviously had to wait for some decent weather, but the crew was still able to begin work less than a month from agreement of the quote. The dumpster and materials arrived about a week before the job started.
The crew was extremely efficient and worked non-stop all day to finish the first house. The next day they started the larger house and this took two days. We had several sections of plywood that needed to be replaced and I was glad they were thorough about this.
They did an excellent job of covering the walls of the house and the gardens and there was no damage to anything.
3. The crew cleaned up as they went along and they had a dedicated nail sweeper that was very thorough. I was especially concerned about nails in the driveway, and I didn’t find any. I didn’t find any in the shrubs or gardens either. Overall they did an excellent job of cleaning up.
The dumpster was picked up a day or two later and all was good.
I also wanted to mention that throughout this whole process the owner Shawn as well as the crew foreman were very easy to get a hold of and answered all my questions thoroughly. They also kept me constantly updated on scheduling and the overall progress of the roof.

Pyramid Roofing performed an excellent job replacing our 28 year old original roof and installing two roof vents for future bathroom vent installation. Communication with Shawn was exceptional throughout the process. Also, the pricing from Pyramid was very competitive. Due to weather issues the roof replacement schedule had to be adjusted a few times but as stated before the communication was great. The roofing team that did the work did a very professional job and the cleanup was very well done. Top quality workmanship and materials. The foreman and crew showed up right on time and went straight to work. The entire project was done in a single day, including cleanup. They made sure they covered every inch of my yard and no debris was left anywhere including nails. Contacted Pyramid due to family and friends having positive experiences with them in the past. From the beginning of the process I was incredibly impressed with the level of communication and the transparency. They ensure every question I had was answered and provided me with a very competitive quote complete with details of the job. When the scheduled day of the job arrived, some issues came up that Pyramid discovered. They explained the issue with my existing sheathing and my chimney. They called in additional staff, laid down plywood over the whole roof which was originally not expecting to be needed, addressed the issue with the chimney and still got everything done in one day! The actual roof came out beautiful. The GAF shingles are some of the best in the industry (based on my research and Shawn’s explanation). The warranties from the material and service perspective are incredibly good and give me confidence for many years to come.
The install team worked very fast and the roof came out great. They were very clean and respectfully of our yard and home. Their post clean up actually left the place cleaner than it was - they cleaned up a pile of leaves that built up next to a door and I swear they cleaned some of our non-leaf filter gutters!

Shawn and his team at Pyramid Roofing were excellent at all phases. We have a pretty complicated roof with many angles and levels to include three skylights. After our inquiry Shawn sent a supervisor over to our home for a thorough physical measurement so they could give an accurate quote. Many companies out there use satellite apps to give you a quote which they later raise the price due to unforeseen complexities, aka they were to lazy to come out and do it right the first time. Shawn spent a great deal of time educating us on what he has learned in his forty years in the roofing business. Our only concern was when he told us they would be done in one day. When the day came and I watched the attention to detail his team of eleven guys gave our home all worries were gone. I'm one of those customers that trusts but verifies, they were outstanding. The foreman kept me updated on what they were doing next and showed me pictures of how they sealed around the skylights. Overall a great experience. Shawn at Pyramid Roofing was not the cheapest for the top warranted lifetime roofing product. However in terms of catering to/meeting customer specific needs and responsiveness/turn-around time on communications and scheduling - was by far the best! Fantastic experience with Pyramid Roofing! Pyramid Roofing was one of three quotes to completely replace our garage and house roofs. Their pricing was very reasonable, they used the exact same products as the highest bid. They scheduled us for the job within two weeks of the quote. They were on our property for two days and were cleaning up the second afternoon, even though there was rain on the second morning. The house was safely protected from the weather on the first day so there was no chance of rain damage.
The crew was very respectful of our property and very hard working. We have a fieldstone chimney which is very hard to reflash but they took the time to make sure that it was done right.

Shawn and his Pyramid crew are honest hard working guys. Plain and simple…. They did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. The GAF warranty was in my mailbox within 5 days. I got 3 bids on this job, Shawn offered the best materials package and an outstanding price. They arrived when promised and did the job in 1 day. The workers are polite and professional. The next day, you could not tell they had been there, except my roof looked awesome. Impeccable cleanup. After a few weeks and a couple good rain storms the roof looks great and no leaks. My family has used them twice now. Very satisfied.

We are very satisfied with the results of my new roof. The price was what we were looking for and Shawn worked with us. The crew arrived within the time I was told from Shawn. They were efficient in setting up and getting the job done. I had to leave and they told me that it would be done at a certain time and it was done. The clean up was excellent. If needed I reuse Pyramid roofing. I would recommend them anybody that needs a roof repair or replacement.

Got 4 quotes from different companies and Pyramid was the best. Shawn and Chris were great to work with. Honest, on time, and very knowledgeable. A tree hit my house and left me with 3 hole and 2 broken rafters. Pyramid did a great job with the repairs. Had 4 skylights replaced and new roof. Thier crew did this all in one day and left my property very clean. I will hire them for future projects. Highly recommend.

Shawn was quick to return calls and incredibly competitive with the estimate. He spent time walking us through the process of what to expect and the options available. There were some unavoidable delays because of weather, but on the day of the roof replacement the crew showed up on time early in the morning and got the job done in one day. They did a great job protecting the bushes around the house and cleaning up the site afterwards.

Pyramid Roofing did a great job on my garage roof 2 years ago. The ridge vent somehow broke/became damaged recently (2024) and they repaired it promptly. I did not hesitate to have them do my home this year. Shawn was responsive from initial contact through the entire project, patient answering all my questions, and gave a very competitive price. When the old shingles were removed, there were additional items that needed repair, which Shawn advised me throughout about how it affected the quote. His team was courteous, respectful, and very hard workers. Some minor damage occurred to my home, which was promptly rectified when brought to their attention. I highly recommend them.
