It has been a year since I have had my new metal standing seam roof put on my house. It still looks great like the day it was first out on. Winter time was the real test since how steep my house is and on the rear of the house there is an addition where the snow on the main house lands on the addition roof and builds up. Towards the end of winter there was a minor issue and I called Sentry (after hours) and they returned my call the next day and said they will have someone come out and look at the problem to make sure they will have all the materials needed to fix. Two days after I called they had someone out here and within a couple hours the problem was fixed. Customer service, the price, and quality are a few of the biggest things to me and they nailed them all. I will definitely recommend Sentry to others.

Very pleased with the roof Sentry put on. The price/value is significantly better than the other big companies you’ve seen in Hillsborough County while also being a platinum Owens Corning partner like those other big companies.

I talked to 4 Owens Corning contractors for my roof. Sentry has the same or better materials and the same warranties with more reasonable pricing. It's worth giving them a call and hearing what they have to say… otherwise you might be throwing away a lot of money. They aren't high pressure so it not a chore.

If you do call the office, request Dave Ayers. He went way above and beyond for me - more than I’d expect from an estimator/sales. Also a straight shooter, very communicative, and low pressure… values that can be rare when it comes to home improvement sales.

Excellent job! Can't say enough about their craftsmanship and work ethic. They started bright and early one close to zero degree morning and worked until dark. Beautiful workmanship in flashing and counter flashing around the 152 year old cupola. They even fixed a few areas where the roof boards had deteriorated. We now have a great new standing metal roof. Oh, and Dillon is the greatest to work with!

When Sentry first came out to evaluate our roof, they didn’t just do a quick inspection—they thoroughly checked both the roof and attic to assess everything properly. Their attention to detail was impressive, and they provided a reasonable quote with a clear breakdown of the work needed. Dylan communicated with us every step of the way, quick to answer any questions, making sure we understood the process and felt comfortable.

One thing that really stood out was the owner’s involvement—he stopped by three different times during the project to check in, which showed a true commitment to quality work. The team that worked on our roof was wonderful—efficient, professional, and hardworking. The entire job was completed in two days.

On top of all that, they truly went above and beyond—after we forgot to mention that we needed a vent installed, they had no problem adding it in at the last minute! Their dedication to customer service and quality work was impressive. Highly recommend Sentry Roofing!

I’ve been meaning to write this review for a long time, but life got in the way. Soon after moving into our 22-year-old home, we found out that our “new” roof, which was installed over the original roof, already had 40 nails poking through. We decided it was time to protect our long-term investment by installing a new roof sooner than later. This also seemed like the right time to explore our solar options given that we would have a fresh, new roof. I contacted a number of companies hoping to find one that could simultaneously address our roofing AND our solar needs. During my extensive research, I learned that there were solar-only companies, roofing-only companies, solar companies that “dabbled” in roofing, and roofing companies that “dabbled” in solar. And then, based upon the recommendation of a trusted contractor our family had utilized several times, we found Sentry Roofing & Solar where we essentially hit the jackpot! While my preference was to work with one company to address both needs, I was initially concerned about getting the worst of both worlds if I went with a company that advertised that it could provide both roofing AND solar services. It kind of seemed too good to be true, to be honest. As it turns out, however, Sentry is operating in the perfect sweet spot/niche as an Owens Corning Platinum-certified roofing contractor AND an REC-certified solar installer. What we ended up getting in fact was the absolute BEST of both worlds, and my initial concerns were largely unfounded. I had the fortune and pleasure of working extensively with TJ who patiently and promptly answered the MANY (I mean a LOT – just ask TJ!) roofing and solar questions I posed to him. He was the consummate professional and gentleman throughout the process. The roofing quote he provided was very detailed and cost-competitive compared to the other quotes I received. Because I was trying to compare apples to apples with the other quotes, he carefully walked me through each Sentry product and service so that I could make the most informed decision I could. The real test for me was how he did on the solar quote, which was spot on compared to the solar-only quotes I received in terms of the layout, design specifications, and total cost. It became readily apparent to me that Sentry Roofing & Solar was the way to go with one smooth, efficient package deal. Ultimately, our new roof was installed in November of ’23. Scheduling went smoothly, dumpsters and products were delivered as I expected, and the two layers of old roofing were stripped and a new roof expertly installed as promised and on time. Sentry employs an amazingly talented and hard-working roofing crew, likely the best in the business! It was incredible to see the crew work, and I felt like a little kid watching the process unfold. Our new 9.72 kW solar array was installed in early-March ’24 during the first patch of warmer weather. This was possible because Sentry staff expertly took care of the various permitting and inter-connect requirements with the Town, the utility, and others. Tyler and Caleb did a fantastic job of expertly installing the system. All the wiring and boxes inside and outside were impeccably installed. It was incredible to observe them during the installation process and to see the final product on my roof, especially since I’ve wanted to “go Solar” for the last 20 years and finally saw it happen! In mid-March, TJ stopped by and I was finally able to flip the switch and go live. Everything has been up and running smoothly since the installation. We’ve enjoyed seeing multiple $0 monthly electric bills with the exception of one month due to lots of AC and dehumidifier use. In summary, we are VERY satisfied with our new roof and solar array, and highly recommend Sentry Roofing & Solar!

Sentry Roofing replaced our roof in 2018. In October of 2024 I noticed some shingles had moved on a very steep section of our roof. I called Sentry Roofing's office on a Friday and the following Monday a crew was at our house, they fixed the shingles and also spent and hour checking in the rest of the roof. Excellent work and excellent customer service!

We found Sentry Roofing through Owens Cornings website. They were the top company and were listed as a Platinum company. We sent a request and we were emailed within hours by Caroline. Dave came out to give our roof a look over and was thorough in his explanation of what the roofing process would be, the way they price out the estimate and he even left some boards with colors for us to choose from. He did say it would take a few days to get the estimate back because they are very specific. We did have to wait, but it was worth the wait. We got 3 quotes. They came in $800 below one estimate and $7000 below another. No deposit was required. We signed the contract and Brett called with a date that was much sooner than we expected. We were unsure of the color we wanted and Dave brought out other boards immediately and Brett and Dave even gave us addresses we could drive by to see entire roofs in certain colors. The guys came and the roof was done in two days. My gardens were protected. Our newly sealed driveway was protected. Dillon came the day after the roof was completed and did a final sweep of the yard for debris.

This company is amazing. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. Everything they said and promised was adhered to.

I recently had a total loss fire which destroyed my home. I had it rebuilt, entire house was brand new. The contractor I hired from hell left me with leaks and repairs an uncomplete job.
I even had a leak in my brand new roof into the attic. I was referred by another company to call sentury roofing to look at the leak. Dillon, one of sentrys project managers, came to evaluate not only my roof, but my neighbor's roof. About an hour later dillon and John came to our rescue. they got on our roofs and repaired my leak around the 2 metal stacks coming out of my roof. They also patched my neighbors leak around her chimney and pipe coming out of her roof. They wanted to make sure that the next storm we get doesn't cause more water damage in her attic and apartment any longer. They will be coming back with a quote to make her 3-year-old roof leak free.

Very efficient admin team. Excellent quality of installation and the installation team treated the property with very good care. Completed a large roof (45 sqs) within a few hours without compromising on quality or cleanliness. We obtained multiple quotes from several roofing companies of equal rating; their quote was about 5% cheaper than the nearest comparable one.

If you're looking for an AMAZING roofing and solar company, Sentry is the real deal! They are some of the best people we have had the pleasure of working with, from start to finish. Drew was able to visit the home to give us a roof quote in record time. TJ (solar guru) arrived right afterward to give us a very detailed 411 on the solar system and what it could do for us. We were scheduled early-mid April and they were spot on for 4/15. Dillon was a fantastic Project Manager, along with John and the crew that stripped the old roof and put the new roof on in record time! What a great experience!! Shout out to David Ayers who returned calls, explained options for right now and long term along with risks and benefits of each options. Dave kept me up to date on activities and status. Even following up after the job is done. I wish more contractors and companies had these standards. But that is ok for I found Sentry roofing and am sleeping much better tonight because of it.

When I bought my house, I knew the roof would need to be replaced within a few years. Sure enough, the roof leaked my first summer in the house. So I started looking for roofers, but everyone was booked solid and either couldn’t fit me in their calendar or just didn’t respond. Finally I found Sentry, and they responded right away.

They also had me use an app that allowed me to take photos of my house to use for their estimate, and the app showed me what my house would look like with the new roof.

After receiving the estimate, Sentry scheduled me for the following month. I was so grateful because I was worried I’d have to wait until next summer.

Sentry also made financing the job super easy. TJ was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made the whole financing process easy.

On my scheduled date, the crew showed up, worked for about 7-8 hours, and were cleaning up by the time I got home from work. They wasted no time and the roof looks beautiful and is leak free.

The person in charge of the job site, Javier, was also super friendly. He had taken photos of the plywood under my old shingles and showed me just how rough it was. It wasn’t a surprise, since it was actively leaking, but it was just good to know that we got it replaced as soon as we did.

I would recommend Sentry in a heartbeat.

My experience with Sentry Roofing has been a very good one. After a few rain delays they showed up last week to do my roof.
It happened to be one of the hottest days of the year. The dumpster and materials arrived the day before. The crew showed up early Thursday morning and got right to work.
An older home presents a few challenges but Dave, Dillon and Brett got everything figured out.

We solicited multiple quotes to have our roof replaced in Newbury, NH. Sentry Roofing responded quickly, and provided a detailed, attractive proposal listing all aspects of the quote. They also happened to be less costly than others whose proposals were not as detailed. Sentry maintained communication regarding scheduling and delivered a dumpster and roofing material a few days in advance. On the scheduled day, a fine young man named Dillon arrived promptly at 8am and outlined the day's expectations for us. He stayed most of the day, constantly checking in with us and ensuring we were informed and pleased. A crew of 5 arrived shortly afterward and set up stripping the old roof. They took great care to protect our windows, screens and shrubs. The crew worked non stop, leaving at 8:30pm after finishing the entire job and a thorough cleanup. Dillon even returned the following morning to walk the site and remove any debris that may have been missed the night before. We are plumbing contractors and could not have been more pleased with Sentry Roofing, and were very pleased to see a fine young man like Dillon involved in a trade and learning as much as he could and communicating so well. I wanted to have part of my roof redone before installing solar panels. I got quotes from three companies, and Sentry was more than half the cost of one of the others! They also didn't try to pressure me into doing my entire roof. They were fast, cleaned up and it looks fantastic.

I have known Sentry Roofing for quite a few years. The relationship has been both professionally when I was managing projects in the custom home construction business as well as personally when they reroofed our house a number of years ago as well as a detached garage this year. They arrive on schedule, protect plantings from damage if applicable, complete the project in a very timely fashion and leave the site free of debris.

Sentry performed a roof replacement on our porch. The initial consult was great and professional. However, after the crew finished, I was charged with 4 more pieces of plywood than were used. 12 were delivered, 8 were installed. we were home and saw delivery and also the removal of unused sheets. while mistakes happen, we were in-fact challenged about this by Sentry as "the math added-up for the number of square used on our roof." however, Doorbell cameras confirmed the number of sheets delivered, carried to the roof, and taken away unused. Ultimately the 8 sheets were honored, however it was unexpected to be challenged by our claim. This was most likely a mistake, but Paul himself questioned my claim directly. If you use Sentry, be sure to count plywood... its not cheap these days. I do appreciate that they did honor the 8 in the end.

I had Sentry replace my roof two years ago and they did an outstanding job. When it came time to replace another roof, there was no doubt who I would contact. All Sentry personnel are professional, responsive, detailed and the pricing was extremely fair. Everyone I worked with Dave, Dillon, or team lead Havier, to all the roofers were outstanding! I highly recommend Sentry, without reservation!

Dave Ayers came to quote our roofing needs. We needed the house as well as the barn done. The quote was less than most. He was extremely patient with me as I had many questions for him. We would email back and forth for a few weeks. When I was comfortable, we firmed it all up. There was never any pressure through the whole process. They arrived exactly at the time they stated. They wasted no time in starting. Jonathon arrived to get things started. Dillon came later to make sure things were running smoothly and to check if anything else was needed. We have a couple horses so I expressed to Dillon about my concerns with any missed nails (they always do a magnetic sweep for nails as a routine service). He made sure to relay my concerns to the team and when they finished cleaning up, they all went out to the paddock to do an additional magnetic sweep. How awesome is that! Vagilo, the team foreman, had everything running as planned and made sure the team had what they needed. Great team work! In this world of little customer service, we were refreshed to see how courteous, professional, and great work ethics they all had. Great job!!!!!

After checking with numerous roofing contractors I settled on SENTRY ROOFING out of Manchester NH. From start to finish I was impressed with their approach, process, hard work and just nice people. Drew came out to the house to give us a quote. Easy to talk with and he listen to what I wanted for my house. Brett next sent a written quote with the details. I spoke with him several times during the process, professional, helpful and friendly. The day before the job a dumpster was delivered to my driveway. The driver, James, was diligent in the process of dropping the dumpster in the right spot and not damaging my garden, RV travel trailer or the lawn. The work crew arrived early on the day of the installation and began working immediately. I was impressed with their stamina as they continued to work the entire day expect for a short lunch break. This crew lead by Jairo, was a well oiled machine and the final work product appears awesome!
The crew also did an excellent job with the clean up of the area. I've spent plenty of time in the yard after the job looking for nails and debris. To this point I have found three nails (two were almost entirely buried). If you witness the amount of roofing nails that came off the old roofing material I was amazed to only find that many. Another words, the crew was on the money by finding most of the debris. They a had a portable magnet they used while doing a grid search of the work area and also used large traps to catch a good amount of roofing material. Dillon was the supervisor who came to the job site several times during the installation day. He updated me on the progress and later kept me informed via cell. Lastly I dropped off payment to Caroline in the Sentry Roofing Manchester Office.

My entire experience with Sentry Roofing has been outstanding! And by the way, the roof looks great!

We used Sentry Roofing to put a brand new roof on our home after we added a large addition to it. If you are reading this review to determine if Sentry Roofing is the company to go with to roof your home, the answer is " Absolutely Yes". Sentry roofing's crew from the crew on the ground cleaning up, to the guys up on the roof stripping the old roof off and laying down the new shingles were outstanding! Very responsive and professional roofing company. We were adding an addition to our home during the winter months and had to get our home sealed up. We ended up having a few delays with framing and weather, but Sentry was very patient and worked around our contractors schedule. Sentry was nothing but amazing from the minute they arrived to clean up. A great crew of workers and it showed in their team work. If you need a roofing company you can trust in contact Sentry!!

I was going with this company to replace our roof but I reached out for one simple, final question and was blown off/ignored for over a month before the sales rep gave some sob story about looking into it and STILL has not gotten back to me after about 2 months. absolutely pathetic. look elsewhere. First, we are pleased with their transparency (itemized list with specific products, explanation of process, etc.), simplification, quality workmanship, and professionalism.

Second, we appreciate their reasonable pricing. After doing some research, we were persuaded to use Owens Corning shingles. We searched the manufacturer's website for contractors and contacted a couple of them for quotes. Not only did Sentry have the highest rating (Platinum Preferred Contractor) from the manufacturer, their quote was only 56.5% of a quote given by a competitor.

Of course, this left me a little skeptical, so I created a spreadsheet for a side-by-side comparison. Nearly every line item was identical. The couple of differences (e.g., ProArmor synthetic underlayment vs. Owens Corning Rhino) were products of the same quality (or arguably better) and rating. Actually, the underlayment they installed is priced about 15% higher than the other at a major retail store.

Finally, their customer service is great. Drew stopped by our home, answered our questions, and provided us a detailed quote. In fact, he came out a second time to show me samples of the actual product (instead of just pictures in a catalogue). Even though our scheduled install time was during several consecutive days of rain, they kept us informed throughout the process. They divided the project into two consecutive half days to keep things moving along.

Brett and TJ were very thoughtful and helpful. It is quite a relief to have this major project completed. And it’s also a nice feeling to walk away feeling confident in all aspects of the decision – the materials, workmanship, and value.
