A1 Roofing company just replaced our roof couple of week ago. We are very happy with their service and their team. Always on time on the project, very responsive and paid attention to details. The project supervisor Chad was very involved and made sure our needs are met with this project. John Lapointe is very good to work with and he made sure that we are happy with the whole process. We are glad that we pick this company to do our roof.

Jon and his team did a great job on our flat roof 2 years ago. Very professional and pleasant to work with. Yesterday Jon came out and did a roof repair on a different roof section that someone else had done the last roofing. He came out quickly when I called him and was able to fix the leaf quickly as he spotted the popped up nail. Great job Jon! I would not hesitate to call them for future work needed. Thanks again.

This is the second time I have used A-1 Siding and Roofing, and they scored a 5-star rating each time. Chris Lapointe quoted the job and he is very professional and knowledgeable. Unlike some larger companies who supplied quotes, A-1 did not try to upsell you on things not needed and their price is competitive. The foreman and crew on site were professional, hard working, and they did a nice cleanup.

Chris & A1 Siding And Roofing came to our home a few weeks ago to check out what we thought was a leak in the roof. Chris tracked it down to a picture window on the front dormer. He found the area around the window had rotted. While he normally doesn't deal with windows or window replacement, he went above and beyond and took care of the issue by replacing the window and repairing the rotted area. He and his helper were in and out in a few hours. The window and the replaced trim inside look terrific! You'd never know they were here, either. They ensured everything was cleaned up and inside and out looked exactly as it was when they arrived. Can't say enough good things about Chris and his business!

It pains me to post this but our experience is summed up by 2 words: unprofessional and unreliable. After a month of rescheduling Corey installed the product. Then called to ask for additional changes that were never discussed. When explained that we cannot do these changes at the moment he came back, removed and destroyed the product. We have been homeowners for many years and have never experienced such behavior.

We had some siding work done by A1 siding and roofing recently. It was a pleasure working with them. The whole team was professional, thorough and friendly. They were also very clear on the scope of work and potential costs. We will gladly go with their company in future if ever needed.

A-1 did our house roof & windows a few years back so when it was time to do the gazebo. It was only natural to call on them. Chris came out and gave us an estimate very promptly, and we set up a schedule for when it could be done as we’d be traveling. When we arrived home, we couldn’t even tell they had been there except for the new roof - the cleanup was immaculate! Great job and crew!!!

Like most people, I rely on honest, accurate reviews when I'm searching for a contractor. A1 Siding and Roofing already had a 5.0 perfect rating before they completed a small siding job at my house, and I wish I could give them higher than 5.0. When I called Chris at A1 to explain my unique small siding repair job, he didn't hesitate and he gave me a fair estimate right away. I asked him to come and remove a section of the siding on the front and back of my house so that I could replace 2 electrical outlets, and then come back to replace the siding once I was finished. Throughout the process, he was very responsive and helpful to my repair questions.
The best part is that I had already had another roofing contractor recommend that I replace my 20-year-old roof this year, but I asked Chris for a second estimate and he suggested that it doesn't really need to be replaced this year. He recommended that I call him for a yearly inspection to decide when the time is right. Obviously, it is refreshing for a contractor to give you an honest evaluation, even if they won't benefit from it immediately. Chris Lapoint and A1 Siding helped me with a solution to my melting siding. Sun,light was bouncing off my neighbors windows causing my siding to melt and ripple. They referred me to Granite State Glass to have a film installed on my neighbors windows before the repairs to my house to prevent this from happening again. They were the only siding company I contacted that suggested such a solution. As soon as the film was installed they were able to come the very next day to repair the siding on my house. Their employees were friendly courteous and respectful of my property. I have many plantings near the area of repair and none were damaged! My house looks great! This company was superb!! They did an absolutely beautiful job, quickly and efficienctly. Customer service is over the top. Even a few small details we had an issue with, John fixed immediately. We really couldn't be happier and would whole heartedly recommend this company. The roof is beautiful!!

A1 Siding and Roofing recently replaced our roof and did our vinyl siding and they did an awesome job! They were communicative throughout the entire process and consistently checked in with us to make sure we were happy with the work being done. Upon doing a few weeks of research online, we selected 2 top comparable suppliers of roofing materials who had proven quality and backed their products by an excellent warranty.

We then researched to find several contractors with significant experience working with respective products and invited them to assess our project and provide a bid.

Factors in our selection process were:

- communication during contract verbiage and terms negotiation

In consideration of our selection factors, we chose and signed a contract with A1 Siding and Roofing within 3 weeks from initial contact.

Chris Lapointe was the assigned project manager from initial contact throughout the entire project and was exceptional in all communications, knowledge, attention to detail, work ethic, scheduling and all aspects of our project.

Chris’ measurements were spot on, in excess by just 1 bundle out of the 3 pallet shingle job. In addition to the replacement of our roof, we also replaced our 8 aging skylights, on which Chris guided on the installation and did the finish work inside of the home.

The foreman Danny did a great job monitoring progress of the 7 person team who worked so well together it was truly incredible to watch. Talk about hard workers - literally amazing.

Upon completion of the roofing portion, Chris Emailed the warranty and returned to install skylight shades we later decided to obtain. Chris also repaired a gutter section, cleaned a few scuff marks on the house and even cleaned the skylight windows.

We absolutely made the correct decision.

It's nice when a company does everything they say, for a fair price, and in a timely manner. Chris did the initial review and got right back to me with a professional quote. While they were up on my roof, they did a complete inspection of the whole roof, completed the repair, and fixed a piece of fascia that had come loose, for a reasonable charge. Completely happy, and would recommend these guys to anybody looking for a repair or a new roof.

This is the second time they helped me out of a pinch. They came in and replaced leaky vents for me, and a few shingles to make sure everything sealed up right.

I had a tarp over them and it was heald down with a bunch of 2x4s and some random heavy objects from my garage. They got the job done, everything looks great, and they took the time to stack the 2x4s and place everything else on the ground in an organized way. I think that says a lot about the pride they take in doing a good job.

These guys helped us out of a huge jam when we realized our attic was completely covered in mold. Great work, super speedy and very helpful service. The attic's been cleared up for months and we can't thank them enough. Highly recommend.

After doing extensive local research and getting multiple quotes for my roofing project, I decided to give A1 Siding and Roofing the job. The quality of the work, efficiency of the workers, and value for my money all played into my final decision of hiring John's team. Additionally, I had A1 fix rotten trim along my home as well as install 13 brand new windows in the front. Using the same company for multiple projects had many benefits. Simply put....the best. Trust me, I called around to other roofing companies in the area. I was in need of a repair for a leakage during wind driven rains. I requested an appointment online, got a call back the next day and schedule for the Friday of same week. John Lapointe came out, saw the ceiling damage and measured up with outside. He grabbed his ladder and went up on the roof to see what was going on with only a 3 year old roof. He immediately saw the area where water could be getting in (short cuts of material done by builder's subcontractor). He told me he had all the materials to fix the issue and I said great, and he fixed it on the spot! Good old honest business practice - "I can fix that for you now". And very reasonably priced.

Let me give you an example of the 'other' roofing company. I received a quote from them with a price over two-thousand dollars! They wanted to replace good materials and hadn't even gone up on the roof to see where or what they needed to repair.
I called two others who didn't even schedule time to come out. They wanted to discuss the issue over the phone. Yah, right....like I'm a roofer.

If you want to do business with a company that is honest, responsive, and very fair priced, call A1 Siding and Roofing.

Since we bought our home 8 years ago, we have used them to fix some ice damage, some aging chimney flashing and, most recently, to replace our entire roof. For a very competitive price, they were able to remove and replace our entire roof, including some damage that could only be found after the roof was removed, in one day. And, other than our brand new roof, there was no sign that anyone had done anything to the house! Everything was spotless! I can’t say enough good things about this company! From meeting with Corey to the crew, they were all so friendly and professional. They just completed the install of our roof yesterday, and it looks amazing. You would also never know they had worked here for a couple of days as they returned everything they had to move back to it’s correct spot and cleaned up every piece of debris. Called John from A1 to help diagnosis a leak inside my house, coming from either the roof or siding. John came out and took at look at the situation within a few days and was very upfront about a few thoughts it might be (as he wasn't the original installing contractor) and a couple of different options to repair. He discussed with me an affordable fix first, trying to save me money before having to really tear up all the siding. He also fixed some of the siding trim in a different area, unprovoked. I found him to be very trustworthy and would recommend everyone to reach about siding/roofing needs.

Would give more stars if I could. Both myself and my daughter have had installation and repairs done by John and his crew. Professional, personal and fair priced. Top notch from start to finish. Highly recommend.

A-1 Roofing/Siding installed the Roof(s) and siding on both my house and garage. Their work is top-notch quality at a reasonable price. I cannot say enough about their great service, a crew that has been with Chris for many years and certified installers with GAF Roofing systems. I also received a GAF Rebate for $250 for being a veteran. I also took bids from 3 different companies, and I decided to go with him.

We talked to several siding companies looking for estimates and they all wanted to side over the existing siding (vertical ship-lap boards). Having some knowledge on siding and building trades in general, I was not at all in favor of that for a few reasons. One company we talked to gave us a ridiculous price if I insisted on having the existing siding removed. A1 Siding and Roofing said they would not want the job if I wanted them to go over the existing siding as their reputation was important to them and the siding would start deforming over a few years time. This was exactly what I was looking for. Their price was probably a little on the high side, but the quality of their work was worth every penny. Manny, the crew leader was awesome! A true perfectionist and craftsman. Our overall experience with A1 Siding and Roofing could not have been better. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants a quality job

Chris and his team were a pleasure to work with and they did an amazing job residing our house. It was a big project and complicated due to the age of our home, but they did an excellent job.

We recently contracted with A1 Siding & Roofing to have our roof replaced. Working with Jonathan Lapointe and A1 Siding & Roofing was a pleasure from the start. Our initial contact with Jonathan was the prior summer to assess the state of our 25 year old roof. Jonathan's initial assessment was that the roof was in decent shape and didn't need to be replaced right away. Perhaps 1-2 more years of life. We decided to proceed with replacement anyway, but the color shingle was not available. We opted to wait until spring. Jonathan offered to caulk weak portions of our roof to ensure that we did not have any leaks over the winter. As for the roof replacement, it could not have turned out better. We are delighted with the results from the color to the detail taken to install custom trim pieces to fit our fairly detailed roof. Jonathan even 'bat proofed' gaps in the roofline as part of the work. Totally unexpected. The crew was professional during the install and cleaned up a debris before leaving the site. This company is amazing. My wife and I recently opened vine 32 after many challenges - and the truth is, we still may not be opened if it wasn’t for A-1. The day before our final inspection was scheduled, our furniture arrived and what do you know, doesn’t fit through the door. They jumped through a few hoops to meet us in very short notice to carefully remove a picture window, helped with labor to bring furniture inside and set up, and quickly reinstalled the same window resulting in no up charge via ordering replacement glass or parts. Chris Lapointe and the team from A-1 made the siding project at my home smooth and easy. In making the decision they brought full size samples to choose from. They were honest and trustworthy. When they found issues that required repair these were documented and explained fully. They cleaned up after each day. My 56 year old ranch looks brand new! Excellent service and I recommend highly.

Having a new build home has brought it's fair share of challenges, especially when it comes to subcontractors and contractors. We've had so many out to our home in the three short years we've owned it. So I can say with a degree of confidence that this was one of the best experiences I've had with a contractor. Last night, we experienced a significant amount of water draining from a vinyl window into the house, presumably due to snow melt. It was difficult for us to source the problem let alone know the proper fix. After looking online and seeing the great reviews for A1, I decided to call. Within an HOUR (yes, an hour) John was here. He did a thorough inspection and explained very well what he thought the problem might be and how he would fix it. He is in the process of fixing it as I type. John's conscientiousness, knowledge, and easy going demeanor gave me peace of mind immediately. I can see what all the great reviews are about! I have even asked for a quote on other work we need done and am confident that it will be done right. In a competitive market of subpar contractors, it has been such a relief to find a true professional with great customer service. A1 will be our go-to guys for our roof, gutter, vinyl siding and exterior maintenance work. Thank you, John!!

I received the same "above and beyond" work and customer service this time around as I did last time around. A1 and John are so incredibly helpful, kind, professional and hard-working. This is just the kind of company/people you hope will show up at your home and just the kind of work you can trust in (but happens so seldom nowadays). I cannot say enough good things about A1. I highly recommend them--you will not be disappointed!

A1 replaced the rubber roof on the backside of our cape. The quote came way under the 4 other estimates (one was double of A1) The crew was professional and very respectful of the property. They tarped the ground around the house to catch debris and cleaned as they worked also ran a magnet around the ground to pick up any nails. Also communicated with us about the work as the day went on. One day install. Very happy with the finished product. Would definitely recommend.

I initially reached out to A-1 to get a quote to replace my my roof. My insurance, at the time, informed me that I needed to replace my roof or they would not renew my insurance. John responded to my inquiry and scheduled an appointment with me within a couple days. When he came to assess my roof he shared with me that my roof still had a couple winters that it could endure. His honesty on not needing to replace my roof immediately took an incredible weight off my shoulders. As a single income household I was not anticipating needing to replace my roof so fast as I closed on my home in July of 2020. John went above and beyond to call my insurance carrier at the time to give them his professional opinion to share with them that my roof was still in good and safe condition. Although they were not budging with me on needing to replace my roof, he was generous enough to refer me to Gallant insurance. Needless to say I have switched my home insurance to Gallant (and I got a better premium!). John is incredibly kind and professional. He really took the time to listen to me and my concerns - I am so grateful that he helped me. In a time where it feels like anyone will sell you anything even if you don’t actually need it, I was in awe of how honest and helpful he was with me. I look forward to bringing my business back to A-1 when my roof needs to be replaced. Thank you John you are awesome!

Lost aluminum soffit trim in high winds they came out bent up a new section and addressed another small fix all Looks good as new and they cleaned up after themselves! Good company would recommend

We had a wind storm shake up multiple shingles and rip one off the roof. The roof was then exposed to rain that was coming in a week. Chris came out immediately and was able to get it fixed in under 2 days and it looks better than before! Beyond happy!

My husband and I have used A1 to replace the vinyl siding for our house. Chris and Chad kept in touch throughout the entire project and answered all the questions we had considering this was our first time having siding done. We are impressed with the craftsmanship and detail of work, specifically the framing around the garden hoses and new platforms for the front and driveway lights. Our neighbors have commented that they like the new vinyl color too. I highly recommend A1 Siding.

Inherited a 1 year old roof under warranty from these guys, and thought we had an issue with a leak, which seems to actually come from our chimney instead. They were quick to respond and able to patch what was needed to get us by, and thorough to follow up afterwards.

Thanks so much to A1 for taking care of my eaves. I had some significant woodpecker damage and are now brand new. I highly recommend A1 as they were easy to work with, reasonably priced, and were able to complete the job sooner than anticipated. I will definitely be a repeat customer if I need similar work in the future!

Update: I also used A1 to replace 12 windows. They did a phenomenal job and really are great craftsmen. Their quote was extremely reasonable and they were efficient. I cannot recommend A1 enough. When I need a new roof, I will be going through A1 without a doubt.

Prior review: A1 redid my vinyl siding. The quality and speed of their work was impressive. John is a great guy and kept communication up through the entire process. I would highly recommend them.

We are very happy with the siding that A1 installed. Their staff are customer centered and very professional and a pleasure to deal with. The worked performed was fantastic and their crew worked tirelessly to make sure the projects (2) got done quickly and did not linger. I will be using them again on a spring project as well. I had contacted several roofing companies. A1 was competitive with their quote. Chris, John, and Chad were great to work with. The roof looks nice and they got it done in a timely manner with updates along the way. This is not my first roof install and I am familiar with the process and what needs to be done. One of the corner posts of my house slid down. Chris was responsive and quickly scheduled the repair on short notice. He arrived on time and took care of it.

We talked to several companies about a quote and once we met John and talked through project we felt good choosing this company. Very professional and service focused. Pricing very fair for job and quality product. Hard working team! They showed on time, and when done our roof looked great. We have 3 dogs and I expressed my concern day one about debris like nails on ground and the team, including John carefully used equipment to pickup debris, metal detectors to find nails! We had a couple items afterwards to be fixed and John made sure done in a timely manner and to my satisfaction.

In the recent storms, the wind got under a piece of aluminum trim and destroyed it. I called half a dozen roofing contractors to see if they could help us. One said they were not taking any more repairs and all the rest did not respond - except Chris at A1. Chris fabricated a new piece of aluminum trim in his workshop for us and we were most grateful. Chris will always be my first call from now on. Excellent communication and service.

We got a new roof and A1 Siding was awesome. We shopped around and got a very large range of pricing, but A1 was competitive and we were impressed by the integrity, honesty, and responsiveness of Chris and his team. We got a high quality installation by a professional crew, on time, on budget, and no surprises! A1 even worked out a credit for some skylight screens that we needed to purchase due to a strange window casing sizing issue discovered after install. They made it right!
