Our original roof was laid in 2004 when the house was built and was definitely nearing the end of its lifetime.

We called a few companies for a complete roof replacement. Monarch came to us recommend from a friend. We have solar panels on the roof, Mike from Monarch helped coordinate our entire project. Mike had a solar contractor that carefully removed our solar panels. Three days later the dumpster and materials arrived. The following day the roofing crew removed our old roof, installed the new Certainteed Landmark Pro shingles. Three days later the solar crew returned and reinstalled our system, tested and activated the system. Our roof looks fantastic in Espresso with a great warranty. We had a great experience with the Monarch team Mike, Bryce & Melanie and would recommend them for your roofing project big or small.

I called Monarch Roofing to get an estimate on repairing a roof leak. I had received a quote from another company for close to 3k but I wanted to get another quote. I called Monarch Roofing and made an appointment for Mike the owner to come out. They confirmed my appointment showed up on time. I showed Mike where I had water damage in my ceiling and the attic. Then Mike proceeded to get up on my roof and tell me that some of the nails had rusted and became loose causing small holes where the rain would leak in. Mike fixed the problem in 10 minutes and at NO CHARGE. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!! I am so happy that I had them come out. They are one of the most honest trustworthy companies that I have dealt with and you will not go wrong in calling them for all your roofing needs.

It’s a tedious process (at least it was for me) but after learning what I could about roofing (think about it how often do you replace a roof) and 5 roofing contractor estimates later Monarch left the impression I was looking for to move forward. Very happy I did, from start to finish the job was nothing less than outstanding. Prompt ongoing communication, their website and office personnel assisted in shingle color selection. Owner and project manager were fully engaged from start to finish. They use Certainteed landmark pro shingles which are one the industry’s best shingles to date. All activities moved right on schedule and roof was completed in one day. Roofing crew were prompt and worked pretty much nonstop to completion and cleaned up like they were never there. Pricing was very fair and included a stellar warranty. I highly recommend Monarch Roofing.

I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience working with Monarch Roofing. From the very start, Mike—the owner—came out personally to give the quote. He was sincere, incredibly knowledgeable, and clearly had decades of hands-on experience in construction and roofing. I had quotes from a few local companies, all around the same price, but Mike’s attention to detail during that initial visit really set him apart. The fact that it’s a local, family-run business made me feel even better about choosing them.

Mike mentioned that his son would be the on-site project manager, and honestly, that sealed the deal for me. His son showed up right on time at 7:00 AM, introduced himself, and walked me through what to expect. From there, the crew got right to work.

They replaced everything—all the old shingles and every single piece of plywood. I was especially concerned about my new attic insulation being disturbed, but they listened carefully and worked in a way that put my mind at ease. By 3:00 PM the entire job was done. Monarch didn’t end up doing my roof, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. My father had coordinated a roofing project with Monarch but passed away unexpectedly before the project could start.

My number one criteria for working with a contractor is whether or not I can trust them to work with me when issues arise. While the project didn’t end up happening (through no fault of Monarch), I have absolutely no doubts that they would do a great job based on how they worked with me.

Monarch was very fair with me and helped me understand where things were at and talk through options. Ultimately, they were just really nice people, and it was clear that they run their business with ethics and integrity. I’m very appreciative of their help, and would certainly be happy to work with them again in the future.

Working with Monarch was superb from start to finish. Our HOA hired them to replace the roof on our barn. They answered our first inquiry promptly and came back with a quote just as promptly. Mike’s team did an outstanding job from start to finish. They all showed up on time and started work right away. The only break they took was lunch. It was very warm out and yet they all kept working. They cleaned up as they worked and went around and made sure all nails were picked up and debris was thrown away. Mike and his team did a quick and amazing job replacing the roof on our garage after it has developed some leaks. Mike was always very responsive when we were looking for a roofer (where others didn't always respond back). And he even came out to temporarily plug up the leaks until the roofing job started so we didn't have any issues in the meantime. Mike & crew are top notch! I had squirrel damage under my solar panels and needed to get it fixed quickly so the panels could be reinstalled. Mike came out and inspected the damage and by the end of the week it was fixed.

I have had the folks at Monarch re-do the flashing on my chimney and replace the roof on my garage. On both jobs they gave good cost estimates and started the work when they said they would and finished with no delays. Their workmanship is outstanding and they communicate clearly what needs to be done. I will probably have them back in the spring to do some gutter repair for me. I got 7 different quotes. Monarch was the only one to inform me my ventilation was probably not up to code. Their quote included costs with and without ventilation updates. Every one else just said any ventilation updates would be additional but would not give details on how they would correct. Mike was very specific on how he would correct and how much it would cost.
They came when they said they would. They did a fabulous job. The house and garage look wonderful.
The clean up job was great. Outside of the new roof, you couldn't even tell they were there.
They took great care to protect my new central air unit and my new gutters. The crew chief stayed on the job all day so I was able to ask him questions throughout the day. The crew worked hard all day.

Whole process was great, from getting a well prepared and organized quote to setting up the day for install, to finishing on time and with everything they said they would do. We used Monarch Roofing to re-roof the area above our front porch that was leaking. Having called a few other companies first, Monarch was by far the most responsive and most organized. There is someone in the office who handles scheduling and billing, who responded to calls quickly and confirmed payments by email.

Mike came out to review our issue and prepare our quote. He was knowledgeable, has a lot of experience and was friendly. He explained the issue and got us a quote quickly. While we had other quotes already at that point, we hired Monarch because of the ease of working with them compared to other companies. Once we paid our deposit, the work was scheduled for the following week, completed on time, with every speck of debris cleaned up upon departure.

The price was fair and in line with other quotes. Materials costs are high, we can't punish the contractors for that. I'd rather give my business to the small local business with an owner who cares, than a large faceless company who can't even bother to call you back. I highly recommend Monarch Roofing!

The team that came out was very efficient and did a great job on the roof. Everyone we dealt with in the lead up to the actual roof installation was very professional and clear. The team did only tarp off the main house though and not the detached garage. There was some debris in the yard after the team left but when the owner found out, he immediately reached out to rectify the situation.
